2221  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH then correction of 35%+ on: December 20, 2020, 03:25:51 PM
Do you think we will have a correction below 20K ?  There are so many buyers that they are not letting bitcoin fall below 22K and if this consolidations continues we may see 25K too. Although i think we need a healthy correction before moving further otherwise the dump will be more brutal.
The huge possibility is it may drop at $16k level and then watch for another uptrend which btc will possibly skyrocket up to $35k watch at $23k to $24k levels since correction may occur at this level.
I believe correction will not be as big as $16k, that is too low to fall and if it falls from here to $16k levels that would mean the start of a big bear run, hopefully that will not happen and we will do a lot better than that for a correction. Difference between correction and bear run is a tiny one, sometimes we go down to a level where I believe it will be just a correction and go back up, but we go on going down and surprise me, sometimes I think it is a bear run and it becomes just a correction and goes up.

So, I can't say if $16k is guaranteed start of bear run but we are above $23k right now, we should not be that low if you ask me. That is why I think around $18k-19k levels are smarter levels, that would be $4-5k drop and after that we could definitely try for a higher level, something like a $35k or bigger could be possible after that.
2222  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC technicals are against ATH. Liquidate on: December 20, 2020, 06:58:57 AM
Let's not go over OP too much, dude didn't know the right situation and he failed and he was wrong but we have seen a lot of people who are wrong as well, from both bulls and bears. I have seen a ton of people who expected to be over 100k+ by now, there was even that famous guy who said we would be a million dollars by now as well, they were all wrong too and we didn't dropped that much, so I can't really say that we are always right, I have also seen a lot of bears who said bitcoin "will die" and it never did neither, they were wrong too. This is just a guy who was wrong along with so many people, thousands were wrong at a time and this is just one more.

I think it is very difficult to predict what bitcoin will do, which is why I am not going to blame anyone who said bitcoin will be this or that and come out wrong, that is nature of bitcoin since it is hard to predict.
2223  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a bitcoin profit tool/calculator/app? on: December 19, 2020, 05:52:09 PM
You could check it from wherever you are trading? I mean it would show you the result shouldn't it? You should see with how much you got in, and how much you got out, at that point all you have to do is calculate from initial to end result and you will see the result, not really that high math required for such a simple task but you can use a calculator instead.

I am sure nobody would really start a whole website just for this but there are some examples you can find here that has parts of their website calculating this and they are not connected, so you would have to once again do what I told you to do and put these information on a calculator instead, which I would say not even needed because you could simply just put that same info into calculator and it would tell you how much you have made from trading or tell you how much you have lost.
2224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth margin trading Bitcoin now? on: December 19, 2020, 05:21:58 PM
With the current high price, it could be very well possible to actually short bitcoin and make some money, obviously it may to go up but wait for it to stop and when it stops and doesn't move there is a huge chance that it will go down, not saying it will crash right away, that is why wait for it, plus even a small time drop would help you if you are shorting it, let's say it reaches $25k and stops there, going to $20k would be still profitable when you are shorting.

However I would still say not do anything that risky, margin trading is always risky and you are going to lose a lot more money if you are wrong compared to all other regular methods, if you are right you are going to earn a lot more too but does it really worth that much risk to lose all your money for a chance to win a bit.
2225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 19, 2020, 04:31:01 PM
Vosk loves to make these kinds of videos. But if you check him out, you will see that he shares defi all the time, even on his recent video he talked about a new airdrop of a new defi for example. Do not be worried about defi, because that is a whole new sector of crypto world which means there will be ones that will be awesome and there will be ones that will be horrible, so it is not just one big brush to paint them all same colour, you can't do that, you can't say "is defi dead" because there are some who are dead, there are some who will die, and there are some who are good, and there are some who will be awesome.

So you can't just say defi like it is one thing, it is a thousand different projects and each of them have something different within itself.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum May Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap in the Next 10 Years on: December 19, 2020, 03:55:08 PM
No joke, this is the only "unrealistic" claim that I find realistic. Normally I say to people that tells this type of huge claims that they should find something more realistic and close to where we are at that time, like for example saying bitcoin will increase another 50% soon instead of saying bitcoin will go 10x soon, because what I suggest is more realistic.

However we are at a situation where ethereum is moving towards ethereum 2.0 which will have proof of stake which could mean that people will keep their ethereum instead of sell it (like miners did for covering costs) plus it is going to be cheaper to move around compared to now, AND we still have tons of projects all rely on erc20 as well. So I think if any coin could ever go above bitcoin, that will be ethereum.

2228  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will be the next target of bitcoin in initially of 2021 ? on: December 18, 2020, 06:42:14 PM
There are many people saying the bitcoin bull run Will not stop and it will break 30k in 2021 what is your opinion?
I would say $30k is the logical next step, we already got very close to $25k anyway, so if it reaches to $25k that would be awesome but it wouldn't be really news worthy because we moved beyond $23k once already, we can go to $25k and it would not be a goal, it would be something that is already expected come to fruit and that's it.

However over $30k is something else, we could literally lose 33%+ and would still be at above $20k in that situation, that is huge number and a great way to stop. I do not know what would be higher than that, the first goal should be $30k and that is actually a goal, but maybe we could have higher? Maybe even $40k? But no matter how higher it is, the first goal is certainly $30k for me.
2229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What trading strategy do you use? on: December 18, 2020, 06:07:37 PM
Try to find a strategy that works best with your personality the best. I understand that everyone things there is this one method of trading that works for everybody but that is not true, there are many different methods where you can profit as long as you do it right but some people fail at it because it doesn't go well with their character.

For example if you rush someone who is a long term minded, they will sell at the wrong place, or if you tell people to wait but there are impatient people they will not be able to wait and sell at wrong place.

So, find a strategy that works whatever you feel like it works for you the best, otherwise you are not going to be making any profit at all even with a strategy that proved to be a good one that works for someone else. I personally like DCA and long term slow method, that works best with my character.
2230  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 New Slots Weekly | 20k Christmas Event! on: December 15, 2020, 02:34:02 PM
nowadays we do not have that kind of stuff because faucet is satoshis and doesn't really change anything, whereas when you have cars like lambo and tesla it shows how serious places are nowadays.

The gambling scene has always been that deep by giving tons of reward, deposit bonus and prizes for their high rollers. Crypto gambling scene however has been quite small compared with Fiat gambling therefore we dont see this kind of things often. The good news is , there are alot new crypto gambling sites recently that are now able to offer that kind of huge prizes and reward .We have few of them even in this forum
[/quote]
Unfortunately compared to the giant of online gambling, crypto gambling is still quite small and growing, the bad part is they are not as big as some of the other huge ones in fiat online gambling world, but the good part is they are growing to become like that in the near future; which is why I think it is quite important to realize the growth and how we are seeing these big names nowadays.

I have seen two places that give out lambo (freebitco.in and stake) and I have seen here giving away tesla, I have also seen a sportsbook sponsoring premier league teams. Basically all of these are huge movements that shows that even though we may not be as big as fiat online gambling world just yet, we are at least getting closer to it by the day and that is a great news.
2231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dump tactics - where to protect your crypot's when during dump? on: December 12, 2020, 06:49:31 PM
Best place to hide it is at binance if you ask me. There is nothing wrong with binance and I understand that people want to share super safe and secure places, hell I have seen people go as far as downloading everything to your computer and putting it on 5 different USB sticks just in case, why would you do that? I think putting them all on binance or if it is simple known coins just blockchain.com is good enough.

As long as you have ways to connect to them like phrases and so forth all saved in a secure place, they are good enough. Do not take security of your coins THAT seriously, when you have binance account with a good password that you do not use anywhere and 2FA there and bookmark the website instead of googling (for phishing reasons) you are fine and nothing will happen.
2232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 12, 2020, 05:30:10 PM
I make use of PayPal, but not for cryptocurrency trading. The crypto feature is not yet available for me and others in my country, I guess maybe by next year it will. But I don’t plan to make use of PayPal’s Bitcoin and crypto. I just use PayPal to send money sometimes and I don’t use it regularly and mostly because people I send money to now make use of Bitcoin for receiving money.

Even if they start offering the crypto feature, I already have Binance and I also have some good private wallets that I am using, so it’s of no use, and I have read their method is completely different. As to whether they are blocking users account, I have seen two people complain that their account was blocked because they tried to day-trade cryptocurrency, although one of them said his account was later released but restrictions were placed on it.
2233  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three weeks to the year end - what will be the high? on: December 12, 2020, 04:24:04 PM
I believe we are not going to see a new all time high this year, it is going to take a bit while before we do that again. Obviously we are not going to crash and become under $13-14k level neither, at least I hope we don't do that, but at the end of the day we are talking about bitcoin here and it doesn't move the way you expect it to do most of the time. It means any of us here could be right or could be wrong and we won't know about it until it happens.

My understanding is that bitcoin already had a huge increase and in order for it to go up a bit more we need to first make sure the rich people who accumulate bitcoin and suddenly start an increase already sold a bit of their coins and they need to recover and get more, and that will take some time since they can't do that all at once without disturbing the market.
2234  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hovering at 19K, but there are 4 reasons for a further pullback on: December 12, 2020, 11:15:58 AM
I can see support as big huge at $13.8 which means if price ever goes under that, we are really in a huge bear market that would be very very difficult to break and we will not be going up for a long time. Until that price there is really nothing we can't recover from.

Going from nearly $20k to suddenly under $18k? That would still be recoverable if we put up some money, which we did already and wouldn't be that shocking that quickly, however that was just one time thing and we can't guarantee another neither, so that is why I think it would be recoverable but in order to go under $13.8k we need to go under $15k and that means it could still be going up after that but it could be going to a place where it may never recover for years. So, keep the price above $14k and we are going to be fine.
2235  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC technicals are against ATH. Liquidate on: December 11, 2020, 06:45:10 PM
This looks more and more realistic everyday but I am still not taking any chances because it is a zero loss game for me. If OP is right and bitcoin goes down, that means I am going to stay with some bitcoins and "losing money" right now and I will have to wait a lot and will make a profit later on. However, if I am right and it goes up I am going to profit. Both of those situations means I am going to make a profit, in one of them I make money right away, in the other I am just going to wait a bit longer.

When you are a long term investor, this type of ups and downs doesn't really change too much, it does change a bit but not too much, that is why I do not agree with the fact that people should liquidate right away, that just doesn't make any sense right now.
2236  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 New Slots Weekly | 20k Christmas Event! on: December 11, 2020, 06:05:03 PM
I will be the first one to apply for a potential candidate for the Tesla, dont you worry  Tongue but probably chips.gg will wait until the rightful winner come back to the site and claim it one day.
I would assume there would be some sort of second and third that would get it anyway so there is no reason to apply for the tesla lol. However it is always awesome to see that casinos are increasing their promotions like this, lambos and teslas and so forth. What is next, a ticket to next starship that leaves earth? Cheesy.

All jokes aside there is really nothing more lovelier than seeing the crypto world becoming so big that nowadays the competition between casinos are much much higher than what it used to be, back in the early days it was about faucets and whichever place gave more faucet than the other and so forth, nowadays we do not have that kind of stuff because faucet is satoshis and doesn't really change anything, whereas when you have cars like lambo and tesla it shows how serious places are nowadays.

We did contact the winner by email but he never answers back, unfortunately.
Those hardcore+lucky gamblers must be busier with gambling and may check their mails once in month, it seems Shocked.
2237  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 11, 2020, 05:09:48 PM
Who would really want the headache of getting a car from another nation to your own nation and all the paper work and all the legalities and all the taxes involved with it and so forth, that makes no sense to me at all, lambo is just the name of it to get more attention and nothing more.

By logic, when you win a lambo and actually want lambo, you are making less money from it than you possibly could from money option, because in money option you just get the money and that's it, you require nothing else, but in lambo it costs you money which means even if you manage to sell the lambo, you are not making same amount of money. Hence, we are going to end up losing a ton of money if we do not pick the money option and even that is enough reason to pick money option.
2238  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 06:11:50 AM
What I am really excited about is the fact that remote work is seen as something totally doable right now, and that is something marvelous because if we can manage to keep people at their homes and work from there for many jobs in the world that can be like that, we could actually have a lot happier world as well, and probably less expense too, and less transportation.

These are all amazing advancements in the world that could make things a lot better. Obviously we have seen companies recalling people right away to work just as the laws allowed in many nations, which shows that even though we have managed months without going to work without a problem, CEO's still do not get it, they are still idiotic old dinosaurs that wants it their way, but with younger people getting management positions, I think we could probably get better.
2239  Economy / Economics / Re: Austrian School of Economics and Crypto on: December 10, 2020, 03:39:28 PM
I think merits in bitcointalk managed to get these type of things going, and we end up seeing the benefits of it and how smart theymos is. He not only manage to put merits in the system, but he also managed to make them valuable as well, you get more merit and you get higher level, so people want to get merit.

How do you get merit? You write something that will make people want to merit you, and since it is not abundant, you do not end up with a lot of merit everywhere neither, hence you need to write very very high quality posts like these.

Thankfully these type of educational posts are more available today than it used to be, there are still some spam as well and hopefully we will get rid of those spam topics as well but at least we have higher quality available for now.
2240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite hitting new 2020 highs, DeFi token gains in November outperform Bitcoin on: December 10, 2020, 01:33:27 PM
A lot of attention has shifted to Bitcoin since its massive Bull Run to new 2020 highs. The digital asset has surged from around $12,000 to over $19,000 in the last 2 months. And just like three years ago, the predictions have started rolling in, with some analysts predicting a price of $300,000 by the end of next year
We will get to see defi continuously make profits for people and there will be big gains from them in the long run, the difference between ICO/IEO world and DeFi world that separates them is the fact that DeFi could stay and not go down and be forgotten that easily and it could be a long term thing.

I understand that many people assume this is all just a hype but the fact is I sense that the money we are putting into defi will probably not go down a lot, maybe just a bit but instead of going into all the new projects that looks shady right away but might profit you, it will probably go to main guns that will make people profit. This is going to make these defi projects keep going up for a long time, instead of hundreds of defi that gets funding, we will have few that will go on forever.
