Unfortunately there are too many people who buy some memecoin because they saw it on twitter and I can not believe that they could be that gullible. I mean what is the point of spending your hard earned money on some memecoin because you saw some twitter community hyping it up? I am not saying that it can't make you money, of course there is a chance of it but it would be a lower chance and higher risk.
It's not that people do not care about their money. The thing is that most of these investors don’t really know much about how to invest in the market or what coin to choose. So, sometimes they really just go straight and invest in any kind that they feel is good.

But, as they continue to have more experience in the market it widens their knowledge and they also get to know the things that they are meant to do and what they are not meant to do. The losses that they might encounter due to their wrong decisions is part of the experience that they would have. it is what makes them better, but it comes with the cost of losing their money in the market.
1342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Hoard Bitcoin? on: March 21, 2022, 09:59:02 AM
If Bitcoin is a better and higher currency than fiat, why then do bitcoiners hurdle it?
I think money is best used for buying and selling not hoarding, we get to see the value more when using it.
The greatest reason for me is the fact that bitcoin is definitely a better method to save my "wealth". I mean it would be awesome if I could spend it as well but there is no scenario where I can pay my bills, go to cinema, buy groceries with bitcoin just yet. One day that will surely happen as well, not going to be anytime soon globally, but there are few places that started doing it so I am assuming it should be fine. Aside from that, I believe that it shouldn't really be a problem at all.

I believe that we could technically go for more of an investment and trying to protect the money we have right now and not lose it against the inflation.

Casinos need to think of ways how to attract gamblers on their platform.
So no doubt that launching play money is one of the options to take.
And using this play token in their contest is one way to get their interest.
With real money at stake, even if we say, it is not that much..But for those who have lots of time to spare, they can participate.
Just look at the numbers, you can't even get into top 50 if you are not diligent enough with your games.
You can say, they did a good job about introducing this funfury token, because some of them will deposit real money to play.
That is true and I assume that there would be a lot of great deals about the current situation. I mean getting people to gamble with the fake money right now and doing as much as they possibly could would be a great deal. If they are not really that great then we are going to see it cost nothing for the casino and cost nothing for the gambler neither.

If however, they can convince them to do something decent, then gamblers would be depositing some money and that would be profitable for them easily. There is really nothing down for the gambler or the casino when adding a fake money option, it is beneficial for both the sides hence definitely a good idea Smiley.
1344  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 20, 2022, 01:56:52 PM
Every child deserves to enjoy their childhood. We should let them take over their youth, but of course, not to the expense that they could ruin their future. I know that most, if not all, parents want the best for their children. But parents should also consider the feelings, emotions, and their children's development over the crucial years of their growth. Because these stages are of importance for the kid's overall shape enhancement, behavioral, perspective, and critical thinking aspects speaking.

If you really want to secure your children's  future, you can start saving in different investments that your trust. If you want it to be in crypto, start as early as you can and let it grow over time. You can introduce them with it the moment they got in the right and perfect age to understand such things. Don't force nor impose it to them. Make them aware about the investment and /or educational fund that you made for them and you can teach them about it for their better understanding and handling when they got to their curious and explorative stage.
This doesn't mean that you can't teach a child about finances. I mean we teach them mathematics, we teach them history, languages, geography, geometrics, science and many other stuffs at school. If we can teach all of those, then why not teach them about the future benefits of saving and investing? It is clear to anyone who has lived the past 20 years working to know that if you are earning a salary, you will not get rich with it.

I have nearly nothing aside, I saved up some crypto thankfully but that’s it and it is not even that big. So, if I were to lose my job tomorrow, I would be in poverty by this summer. Kids needs to know how to save 10% of their income every month, and put it on a safe investment.
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ethereum still a viable alternative to Bitcoin? on: March 20, 2022, 01:18:32 PM
Look at what bitcoin is and now look at Ethereum. Ethereum has many barriers BTC doesn't have. The major barrier is gas fees. Also, people are looking at the store of value. ETH doesn't have a cap on how many ETH there can be while BTC does. But those are only a couple things.
It is still possible that it hits 40k
That is a thing that could be solved though, that’s the problem. BTC does have a fee problem as well, or at least did have it but the legacy is not used anymore, hell even the initial segwit addresses are not used anymore. We used to use addresses that started with 1... then we moved to 3... and now we have like bc1... type of addresses. That should tell you all you need to know about the current situation.

I do not know if that would be good enough or not, but I believe that we should not be really caring about the current gas fee problem in ETH because just like how BTC changed its situation by using alternatives, ETH could also do that in the future.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Ethereum fees going down in this days? on: March 20, 2022, 09:45:50 AM
I think the current decline in the cost of ethereum gas is due to the massive reduction in adoption of this network, resulting in the empty space of the ethereum system, I think this is only temporary because the crypto market is currently declining so activity on every network decreased dramatically,
That is the reason why the gas fee was high as well, a lot of people using it. Since, a lot of people used it, the gas fee was high and now that a lot less people are using it, the gas fee is low, that is how it is done. I personally believe that when you do it properly then ETH would be a great place to use, like when there is a new fork or a new improvement then it could be great if the gas fee is low even when a lot of people are using it.

However, when there are lot of people using it, the gas fee goes up, so that is why people leave. There are so many other networks right now that people could use and make money, I believe that they could provide more for the people who use them.

Funfury token is a demo token but Betfury has a special event worth 100USDT for top players that earn Fun fury tokens in daily basis. The token itself has no value but you can win a portion of the 100$ if you will manage to earn fun fury and rank to the leaderboard. This is the best part of Betfury on introducing event related to there demo tokens. Players can try the casino while at the same time can win already a real money by just playing for fun without any risk of losing there own money.
Besides, we can try some new games in-house with this token sometimes try to apply some strategies if it works then use real money
It's just that as far as this contest goes, no forum user has succeeded in taking the prize participants from outside the forum are more aggressive
Besides that, Freewheel also never gives you cash prizes  Cheesy even though the main prize is 1 BTC.
More and more places are doing the "fake money" thing, it used to be a thing on early days of crypto gambling, went away, and now it is making a comeback somehow. I believe that we should not be shocked all that much, this is a very normal marketing move, attracting even the people who can't afford to play, or people who want to test out some stuff.

I personally feel like there is nothing wrong with putting a fake money gambling so that people could test out some things and iron out the details of their strategies. In the end when they wager, they will lose because of the house edge and the casino will get all that money. I do not know any downside for the casino itself.
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: March 19, 2022, 08:02:32 PM
That says one thing which is banning bitcoin is impossible because it's impossible to ban the internet.

As what we are witnessing now, particularly the war of two countries (Russia and Ukraine), we now see how useful bitcoin is because we can send donations to Ukraine to bitcoin instantly, and that would not be possible through fiat if payment centers are not operating. That's just one thing. If we try to analyze the current scenario, this tells us how a decentralized asset would be so useful when our economy struggles and our government is not functioning.
It is also showing how the whole world could be connected together thanks to crypto so easily. People all around the world, from any nation could be donating to Ukraine right now. Instead of waiting for the nearby nations to help them, Ukraine could use this money to protect themselves.

This is a proof that regular traditional monetary system is slow and they need to make it a lot better, whereas crypto is miles ahead and they are definitely doing this a lot better. I do not know how people could see this as a bad thing, sure Russians could be using it to avoid sanctions but it is also used for Ukrainians to help save themselves at the same time, why not focus on that part?
1349  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is refusing to block Russian customer's crypto wallets. on: March 19, 2022, 06:00:16 PM
There is nothing wrong with this. There is a difference between hating Russia and hating Russians. One of them is a political stance against a government that is attacking an innocent nation and killing people, the other is a racist argument to make based on just one politician that hates every citizen of that nation.

I personally believe that if Binance doesn't want to, they are a private entity and they should be allowed to do whatever they want. If they wanted to ban, that is fine too, they are private company and can do whatever they want, if they do not want to then that is fine too, it is their business to do as they wish and we should not be forcing them to do anything.

We have seen another amazing job by thequin on explaining things and how he makes sure that everything is legit here. Obviously, wetsuit is at the top of it all and he should get a lot of credit, but I would give him the biggest credit for hiring thequin. I know people come here mostly to bother you and either to complain about something, ask something, or even call you names and not enough people come here to tell you how amazing of a job you do.

So, I would like to take a bit of time and tell you that even though we do not say it out loud too many times, know that we love you and we cherish you and you have a huge finger on making this place what it is today.
This is definitely true. I believe that thequin definitely deserves some big ups and applause and that is definitely something we are lacking here. When there is something wrong we see plenty of people complaining here and talk about how he needs to get better and all of that, and we need fixes quickly and we keep giving bad feedback. However, when it comes to good things to say, I agree that we keep ourselves from doing that.

This is why I believe that we should be sometimes give where the credit is due and that would be a lot better. I personally believe that thequin is the best at what he does in the whole of crypto gambling world.

Yes, I also heard the news but hopefully, the company will still provide support on the mobile version because many people are already using it. Metamask seems to have started to rise in popularity with the news and I don't know but I agree with you that hardware wallets are still the best.
Mobile version is something that is needed for all the modern companies. After all we are talking about a situation where the world is turning into mobile a bit more, there are so many people who live on their phones now. I remember a period where every single person owned a computer, it was like a must have thing, nowadays I have so many friends who do not own a PC. They have a good phone, and a tablet to use and they are fine with that.

If their job doesn't require them to own a PC, and if their personal life doesn't revolve around a PC, then it doesn't look like they would care about getting one. For a hobbyist type of person, phone and tablet is more than enough most of the time. Hence every new company needs to get better at mobile versions of their websites.

We are in the world people are getting educated about cryptocurrencies, why not then educate your children about it, especially the shitcoins and scam that can let them lost coins, not even only that but also about the investment education you said, you can educate your children about how trading is and how it has turned some people that are rich before to poor person an how investment can be the best option, to buy the dip and sell high, that patience is very important before someone can be successful.
Because it is not going to be that simple. I mean if we have little kids in our hands, then how could we really know what they can really understand. You could teach someone something when they are 5 years old, then at 10 years old they will understand it differently, at 15 they will get it totally differently and at 20 probably a lot more and this keeps going on until they die, it never is same.

Yeah, this is why I highly doubt that kids could be easily thought about crypto. The main logic of finance could be talked about, they will get a bit of it, but not crypto because that one is a bit more complicated than the others and there would be some difference.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ukrainian token (virtual hrivna)l on: March 18, 2022, 07:42:18 AM
Ukraine did bring in a lot of spammers and scammers to not just here but to everywhere in the world. Even twitter is filled with fake Ukraine "official" accounts that share donation addresses that goes to just directly their pockets, to people who have nothing to do with Ukraine. Even if we assume that OP is telling the truth, why give your money to him? Just donate it directly to Ukraine and if they want to use that to build something like this then they would, if they do not want to then they won't.

There are already plenty of different coins addresses that you can donate to directly to official Ukraine accounts, no need to help with OP at all.
1354  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 17, 2022, 08:09:35 PM
That's a nice amount iv4n; I am currently at around 150 spins. I think iv4n is waiting on BTC prize to go down, so the rewards will be maximized (minimum 50 satoshis/RP or lottery tickets). At least, that is were I am waiting on and when patient enough, we will probably see this in the next couple of weeks.
I like to hoard spins as well but at some point it seems counterintuitive to be holding so many when you could instead be earning interest on the extra BTC you will earn from redeeming those spins. The bitcoin price started pumping out of nowhere so the wheel prizes might dip into the 30's for the base reward. It's very rare for the prizes to reach 50 so if goes to the mid 40's and I have a few hundred spins saved up I wouldn't waste the opportunity to get some extra sats and RP.
I never really understood the logic of hoarding spins. I have talked about this before I believe but forgot where and when I talked about it. I believe that if you have daily 10 spins, there is no difference between doing 10 per day, and doing 100 every 10 days, or doing 1000 every 100 days. I mean it is the same thing, the results should be same as well. All you get is results all together, instead of per day and that is literally the only difference.

I know that instead of getting 50 satoshi, it is better to see it 500 satoshi all together, but 50 satoshi per day for 10 days would have been the same. This logic applies to same spin hoarding as well. But if you like it, then power to you.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 17, 2022, 12:08:19 PM
Maybe what he mean is that the market have recovered now compared to their price last January during the correction happened. What we are feeling now are only small price fluctuations. BTC price cant continue beyond 40k but it finds itself going back to 38k and 39k much often.

I won't say that it's cause by a FUD but I think when FUDs occur, the effect is much more than this and if it's true that the war can affect the stock market, then yes the cryptos will greatly benefit with it because stocks investors usually vent out in cryptos after that. The donation thing using cryptos is also another factor that can make crypto price sky rocket.
That is the difference that people do not understand. When the price crashes from high levels to low levels that could be FUD and it could be considered a bear run. However when it is just low, and stays low that is not really a big deal at all, it is just market not doing anything. Just because it is lower than it used to be, doesn't mean that it is really that low and it is doing badly, sometimes it just means it doesn't do anything.

I personally believe that we are fine right now, definitely better than I expected and the results will show itself very soon, that is guaranteed. If you are unsure about what the results will be like, check the stagnant periods of old days and you will see how great it eventually gets.
1356  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 17, 2022, 04:53:51 AM
There are too many people who think that they are cursed but the reality is that as long as you hold, it will always have ups and downs all together. I mean if you bought at any given minute, then there is a 90%+ chance that you are in profit aside from maybe the last 3-4 months, that is why it is not really fair to say that when you buy the price goes down.

In the last 10+ years of crypto, if you bought at any given time aside from maybe like 2-3 months of it, it was always lower than this price, so if you hold bitcoin, you would be in profit, and it will profit in the future even if you bought at 68k as well, you just have to wait.
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the future of Binance bright??? on: March 16, 2022, 09:04:22 PM
You should definitely check the past data, I am not saying that it is useless, of course it is not useless. You could at the very least see the places it could go up to or go down to and that gives you an idea. But for direction, relying on data alone and not checking anything else is a wrong move and usually one that ends up making people lose money.

I have to say it is definitely one of the hardest things to decide on which direction crypto will go to, and if it was as easy as checking some charts or seeing some indicators, then it wouldn't be this hard and everyone in the world would be able to see it and do it.
That is true, there is no way that you could make a decision by looking at only the data, but not looking at it doesn't give you any profit neither. Think about the data and charts like things that you could get a bit of help, they are not the main way to make money but they are not useless neither.

The options are "look at the charts and the data but do not consider them as the key result givers" or "do not look at them and..." what? What could you do with them? This is why I believe that even though you should not make any changes based on the charts, you should still consider them as valid ways to understand the market.
1358  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 16, 2022, 08:04:50 PM
Well, Putin are using the sanctions as a tool to motivate his citizens to direct their blame and anger on the West. He already proclaimed that the sanctions are hurting the West more.. than it is hurting his country. (Oil prices skyrocketed and he is laughing all the way to the Bank as a result of that)

Also... Russia is a Communist country and they are used to poverty, so isolation from the Western cultures and luxurious goods and services, will not affect them as hard as it will other Capitalist countries.  Roll Eyes

So... yes... The West will be blamed for everything and Putin will use that to his advantage.  Roll Eyes
"Oh look comrades, we attacked an innocent nation that never fired a gun at us, and the world is treating us badly because of it!". Lol, Putin is a known liar and a dictator, anyone who still believes a single word that he says is a person who is a traitor to the whole world and should be considered as evil as well, just like Putin.

The world is just reacting the way it suppose to, I wish they did when it was about west attacking other nations too, but they do not however that doesn't mean that whats being done to Russia is not correct. Should be done others is not a way to approach your wrong doing should be not seen by others as well.
1359  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Industry Hyper Adoption on: March 16, 2022, 05:46:38 PM
The problem with our slower growth at the start and faster right now is that at the very start it was more about people using it to hide their money movements. Things like silk road, money laundering and all that caused bitcoin to be seen as something dangerous.

I remember a period when I was involved in crypto (this was before 2017 happened) and whenever I tried to join a company and they asked me what I was doing, I said I did crypto trading and they looked at me like I said I was a drug dealer. Nowadays even the biggest company in the world owns some crypto and everyone acts like that is a normal thing and crypto is everywhere around us. It took us a while to get here, but we managed to do it.

I honestly believe that we could be able to see Salah on Barcelona next season if everything goes accordingly. What needs to happen is that Barcelona already lost a star, and I believe they will try to get that star next for nearly free and pay the salary from players like Pique and so forth that will leave.

There are so many players who are making between 6-7 million to 10+ millions that they do not really need, busquets is also another one of them. I believe with that gap gone, they could honestly get Salah and pay him like 30-40 million easily without actually having to pay more than they are paying for salary right now. Shouldn't be impossible to be fair.
