Taking a look at prices at coinmarketcap isn't giving me hope we are at the end of the bear market yet.
But the charts and the overpriced assets (Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, etc.) are not the only indicators.

There's an event we are waiting for that should finally end and that's no other than the MtGox coins release. Certainly, Bitcoin's price is decisive for the whole market.

Maybe the release of 100,000 BTC will not be that damaging. Sure if everyone sells, we will find new levels, but right now, I think it is the only event investors wait to begin buying both Bitcoin and altcoins.
Nobody wants to buy fearing MtGox holders will dump their 9 year forced-hodled coins. Maybe they won't but it is fear of a dump that blocks many investors at this point.
The soonest the MtGox BTC are released, the better for everyone in this market. The FUD will end, and if prices drop then we get a discount.

Singular events don't move the needle anymore.  They used to and maybe for alts they can crush or push them.  But price movement with bitcoin isn't event driven it is truly a market shift that causes new price swings.  Is this the bottom, who knows.

Just another worthless altcoin so no need to pull it completely off the forum.  Yeah it's no secret it annoys everyone to see the threads but no need to censor, because then where does that stop.  Just ignore and move on simple as that.

The attack Green did is unacceptable, the fact that we are still talking about how it should have stayed within the team is showing that NBA is still not finding the right mental health situation. Now you are expecting Jordan Poole to figure out a way to accept Green as who he is, sure Green will "apologize" if he is asked, if I know him, he won't be even doing that unless he got some stern warning and a punishment that is more severe than what he would normally get, and then he would do so but Poole would know he doesn't mean it. And he has to accept him as his teammate and move on.

I believe violence has no place in NBA, and players should be punished like whole season worths, or at least a serious amount of money, like 10-20 million, to make sure that nobody would ever try to do something like this ever again.

Whatever Poole's decision, it will still reflect on the entire squad. We don't know what really the reason behind it

and if we just judge it from the video, it can create two-way opinions. Green might not punch Poole if he didn't push him
but from the angle that we saw from the video that keeps circulating, it was Poole who pushed green first before Green
punch him. All we can do now is to wait for any update to know how Warriors will solve this gap between these two
stars.

Green was planning on attacking him, Poole also has pride so pushing him is expected from him based on the video we saw, however, punching Poole with a very accurate shot, was unacceptable, it's pure violence. Green is really a dirty player, even his teammates are not exempted.

Now, I'm convinced that Draymond was probably the reason why Durant left the Warriors.

I think it's no secret that Draymond is part of the reason why Durant left, yes maybe KD wanted more money or have his own team or he didn't feel respected by the fans because they know that it is still Steph's team no matter what KD contribute. But there are games that KD and Draymond t is not on the page anymore by hlving arguments during the game itself. And so we might see the Warriors team or at least this kind of mood during the whole season and this could really be have a bad effect on them.

It's true with Durant but the steph, klay and draymond formula works.  And apparently this isn't new.  Draymond is known to get on the younger players.  Teams need someone to keep the team in line but not like this.  Be interesting to see the dynamic in the beginning of the season.  Poole was coming on strong last year let's see if he takes a backseat.

In other funny news, amazing the Bears have hung in like they have. Would be funny if they pulled this game off.

Its about time Mooney decided to make a catch!

I have Mooney in another league and it's disappointing.  Dude is an incredible Wideout but Chicago likes to ground and pound.  I'm sure as Justin fields progresses his playback will too.  Just hoping it's this year since I have Mooney 😅

THEE NY Giants!!  What a game that was to kick off the day.  As a giants fan I almost had them in the loss column before the game started.  Rodgers always kills the giants.  Down to practice squad wide relievers and corner backs this was a surprise for sure.

And with that my fantasy team is crap and looks like another loss incoming

I get where you are coming from but most of these guys won't ever even make $20million, no way fines can be that high for punching someone.  Agreed something needs to be done but that ain't happening.  Same thing with entire season bans won't happen either unless it's something crazy.

Draymond makes around $25,000,000 per year, and next year he'll be making $27 million (if he accepts his player option).  A $20 million dollar fine seems a bit much, but I could see suspending him for 2 weeks without pay or something along those lines, which would be about a million dollar loss for him.  Don't worry though, he'll definitely regret punching Poole come negotiation time.  He was supposed to be having a career season this year to go for a max extension, but now it looks more likely that he'll sign a lower paying deal to go to a team he wants to like the Lakers, or might even have to not accept his $27 million player option to sign with a team he wants to play for.  One thing I will say now, I don't believe that both Jordan Poole and Draymond Green will be on the Warriors next season.

That's draymond yes he makes that much but you can't scale a fine based on how much someone makes per year.  Most guys only ay a couple years and a lot of the bench players make maybe a mil a year before taxes.  20 million would bankrupt most all of these guys outside of the top 10% of the league.  Moot point though a fine like that would never be agreed upon anyway.

TMZ has released footage of the Draymond Green / Jordan Poole incident. It definitely looks to me from the video that Draymond Green was the aggressor. Poole was backing away and even pushed Green, which sent Poole backwards before Green rushed him and knocked him down with a punch to the face. I can see why players like Steph and Andre have come out in Poole’s defense. Getting punched in the face for talking shit to your teammate seems a little overboard. I bet Poole’s attitude changes going forward though. Looked like Green got him pretty good.
Did you see the video? Draymond dropped his ass. It was super brutal and the team has decided not to suspend him for it. I wonder if it will have an impact on the negotiation process for Draymond and his max deal?

Yeah I seen that video and wow.  That was with nothing holding him back.  No way they smooth that over, one of these 2 are definitely getting shipped off.  That stuff leaks out onto the court whether they say it does or doesn't.  Draymond dropped him hard lol.  I might actually throw a bet on them on the under for total game wins.
It's pretty insane that no disciplinary action has been taken. We don't know what Poole said to trigger Green, so if there was disciplinary action taken I think both should be punished, but with the aggressive action by Green he needs to have a more severe punishment.

Yeah I'm surprised there hasn't been any action taken either.  In the 80s/90s this happened all the time but in the world we live in where no one wants to be labeled an enabler I'm surprised.  With the video out now, I wouldn't be surprised if they both get something here shortly.

Model Antminer L7 (9.5Gh) from Bitmain mining Scrypt algorithm with a maximum hashrate of 9.5Gh/s for a power consumption of 3425W.
https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/bitmain/antminer-l7-9-5gh
Even at the cost of electricity of 5 cents, the payback of this ASIC is more than 2 years. Although in some stores this ASIC costs $ 18,000, which not every miner can buy, but a 6-month warranty.

Yeah it's a long time but anything can happen, difficulty can drop with L3s going offline or coin prices start going back up.  Either way 2 years is a decently long time.  I can't see a more powerful scrypt miner coming out anytime soon so it's likely if you start now you will still roi.

I  tried to watch today's game, I really did. Unbearable puntfest. Even beer didn't fix it. I give up.

Worst game of the year.  Honestly Russell Wilson looks like shit.  Denver looks like they are going to be a bottom of the barrel team.  Of course their starting rb goes on the IR.  My teams in fantasy this year have all went to the trash heap.  I hate injuries lol.  But yeah what a snoozefest that was.

It appears I saved myself from wasting time. I reckon the game would only be watched from the beginning to the end in excitement if someone made a bet with his whole life savings and his car on either of those teams?

@ChiBitCTy. You did not like Raheem Mostert, I will be holding him for you hehehe. I am speculating that he will be getting more snaps with Bridgewater as QB1. He will be a good flex option also or an RB2 in some weeks.

Yeah I wonder how the game changes with Tua out.  Teddy is a decent qb, I actually had Tua picked up teddy and am starting him in my work league.  With hill and waddle on each side I like whoever is in at qb for Miami.  Hopefully for me Mostart doesn't get more touches Smiley
2253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 07, 2022, 07:32:23 PM
Many useless coin projects emerged between 2019-21. Most of those projects are shelved in 2-3 months. I don't know whether this is because of bearish trend or people's awareness, the number of shitcoins projects are declining. I observed them various sites like coinhunter, coinvoter, gemfinder etc.. This is a good move. But if market gets bullish again, we have to see whether they born again out of nowhere.

Even if they give a comeback when market picks up, I don't think they are going to succeed. Because people who are in already crypto realised the importance of utility.   People who are new to crypto should do little research. That's enough for them for not falling in the trap.

Few funny and shitty project examples :

 - The holders of coin earn for every transaction. That sounds nice. But they need to pay tax for every transaction. What does coin actually do? Nothing. They will say they make it as alternative for bitcoin. Oh really, with 15% tax on every transaction + gas fees, people really think your shitcoin is alternative to bitcoin

- Charity tokens. These project want to donate for good cause. That's really good intention. But how does money come? They get it by selling coins. They sell it by saying they can earn by holding and staking? How? Again buy and sales tax comes into picture. Without proper utility how does it can survive?

- Gaming token. They don't even have game yet. But they release the tokens first. We can understand they are using this tokens as raising for funds for development of game. But they don't even have a prototype. They just have a nicely edited video. Those game concepts are very silly. They don't expect whether people play it or not. They expect holders of those token to play. (I listened this dialogue from a project owner in a AMA).  Holders of the coin should invest in the project. He says holders will play as their money is involved in the project.

There are many other shitty coins. Hundred different concepts. None of them has proper utility.

Hope its a end of those shitcoins.

Been around for a long time.  Long enough to see multiple cycles.  Just wait for the next bull cycle and ypu will see these altcoins (not the same ones but new ones) reappear out of no where.  Greed...that's it.  People will drive the price high on all of these for no other reason than greed.  Until greed leaves the market alts will stay, and greed isn't leaving so get used to it lol.

2255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 07, 2022, 07:25:57 PM
Definitely some trouble brewing in the Warriors training camp.  Draymond Green and Jordan Poole had a fight yesterday because Jordan Poole scored on Draymond in a scrimmage and then called him a "triple single."  Meaning he doesn't get double digits in any stats during a game.  An interview with Klay Thompson after winning a 3 point contest (against Steph and Poole) had him saying the best part of the win was to "humble Jordan Poole."  When Jordan Poole then interrupted the interview with his own microphone, Klay said that Poole was coming for the reporters' jobs too.  I think it's pretty clear the Warriors are getting frustrated with the young guys wanting a piece of the pie.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors signed Poole to an extension just to make him a more valuable trading piece.

He better be careful, Warriors know what makes them the money.  The original 3 are the golden goose for that team both in games in in theor profit margin.  Even if the kid is getting good its almost addition by subtraction sometimes.  Ypu want to make sure those 3 are going into the season with a clear head.

It's just weird though that Jordan Poole will be acting like this in scrimmage and disrespect the veteran Green. We have seen this in the past, when Durant and Green had some arguments in the game and then Green talking to the media.

So yeah, we should keep an eye on Poole, perhaps his performance last year made him feeling 'great' now as part of the big 5 in the Warriors. But we all know that it's Curry, Thompson and Green that is still the core and not same young guy.

Not wierd at all you have to rber in the NBA all of these guys no matter who they are now were "the man" at one point in time whether its high school, college, nba, etc.  Some guys know how to handle it others get an ego over it.  In this case it looks like the latter, and now that he has some nba success looks like it's coming out.  In the NBA that attitude is poisonous and kills a team from the inside out.  Good or not if it continues you will see him on the trade block.
2256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miners on: October 07, 2022, 07:20:49 PM
My L7 does 3400 watts or 3.4 x 24 = 82 kwatts a day

so
cents.. daily cost

02 ......... 1.64
03 ......... 2.46
04. ........ 3.28
05.   ...... 4.10
06.......... 4.92
07 ......... 5.74
08 ......... 6.56
09 ......... 7.38
10 ......... 8.20
11 ......... 9.02
12 ......... 9.84
13 ....... 10.66

it mines about  .15 ltc    =   7.90
it mines about 300 doge = 18.60

total is 26.50

then minus your power cost

so you cold say it does  15.84 to  24.86 daily with ltc/doge merge pretty accurate

or maybe 5781 to 9073 yearly  subject to larger swings up or down

we paid about 48k for 3 of them they have mined since Jan of 2022

and since prices were higher in Jan-May we earned close to 36k back so far.

Phil is that 36k total or net after power costs.  If net that's not too bad almost roi time.  Thank goodness for the doge run up last year it saved scrypt mining otherwise all these scrypt asics would just be bricks lime the rest of the older asics.  Be nice for a life in litecoin price to prop it up even more.
2257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Miners on: October 06, 2022, 07:46:39 PM
OP must the miner be Baikal? You need to find a more profitable miner and they are costly, since these miners aren't BTC miner the returns on investment is not so great, I believe Antiminer L7 is very good for Dogecoin + LTC mining, even Digibyte coin too you will make good 28$ profits per day after covering electricity expenses.

$28 profit a day on digibyte?  I think on average L7s after electric are coming in at around $14 a day profit or around $5000 a year.  At their current resale price ypu won't break even for a long time at these prices.  That's without mergemining doge or some other auxpow coin I believe so maybe there is some more money to be had.

2025 is quite a long time for any altcoin.  There is no way anyone in this thread can come close to a realistic recommendation on if this will work out or not.  For one no one can ever predict the altcoin market as a whole in 3 years away.  And then second a singular coin can flop in one week let alone 3 years.  If you are bullish on it, buy it stash it away and cross your fingers.  Any analysis here will be useless for you to take or use realistically.

Do only 50% bet 20$ every time if it fails do 60$ it fails do 150$ if it fails do 350$ if it fails do 900$ if it fails do 2300$

There is no way you will fail 7 times and if you do just increase the bet and you will get it back eventually even if you wait 12 times.

what you think on my method?

There is no way you fail 7 times?  Yeah there is lol.  This method has been tried over and over.  While it works "most" of the time, when it doesn't it will completely wipe you out.  Look up martingale method.  It we essentially is to continually double your loss so that when you win net/net ypu are even and then you start again from the beginning.
