And this has brought up that the bubble doesn't really count for the Lakers champ title. I do hope that this is going to clear all of those doubters against the bubble and even against the Lakers. History has been made for both Western and Eastern Conference because they both have teams that are still alive since play-in tournament up until now. If this is a rematch from the bubble then maybe we will see another rematch when it comes to the Finals, what do you think folks? Is it possible?
Everything is possible as of now and we just have to wait until the games are all started. For now, everything is going to be a speculation and this is a nice coincidence that we've never thought of. Ouch! The Boston Celtics took the life away from the Philadelphia 76ers. The 1st half was fun until Jayson Tatum got hot and it's totally over. He passed the record made by Steph Curry on a Game 7 points made. 50 for Steph passing KD and now the crown is on Tatum with 51 points. Bad man.  I was wondering when will James Harden erupt at attacking the paint but he seems scared to put it there and make an offensive attack. The usual playoff James Harden is not yet gone. This is how he panicked back on Houston Rockets and it happened again. It ain't about lack of experience, he choked again. Joel Embiid did not play like an MVP too, it's either Horford is really good at defending him or he forgot that he has one more weapon which is perimeter shots but he is not taking it. I didn't like the plays, most of them are kick-out passes with no accuracy on where the ball will go. 1/2. At least I won the Over 198.5. Congrats to the Celtics bettors. All spreads are covered. Kind of a predictable game. Everyone kept saying taytum is overated and then dude drops 50 in a game 7 do or die game. There are players and then theor are special players who rise to the occasion. I'm leaning in on the Celtics right now. In a game 7 unless it's a 1/2 point game there should be some fouls at the end and desperation shots. Gonna take the Celtics-6 but to hedge my bet I'm gonna take the sixers +3 in the first half. Hoping for a tight game and then a bust out fourth quarter for the Celtics. The only thing I fear is the foul merchant duo of embid and Hardin will be top quality foul drawers today.

I think AD can neutralize Jokic better than any of the remaining centers and it will be a replay of the results of the bubble series.

They’re saying Chris Paul is done in Phoenix. Vegas currently has the odds on Chris Paul being with the Lakers next season. This wouldn’t surprise me at all as LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul. I’m not sure having an injury prone Chris Paul on the roster with Anthony Davis will be great for the postseason. They’ll probably talk about it during tonight’s game.
Poor chris paul, he is a really good player but he cant win a ring. And Lakers... need to take care about the elderly of their player, Lebron its the King but he is now nearby to 40 years old, and Crish its in the same path. I know they have some youngers but its complicated this BIG players always want to play all the minutes they can, and we know how it ended, with a ton of fights between players, and capping the youngers.
About games, i think Miami - Boston its gonna be in the east the final. And in the west i dont have a clue, because between GS and Lakers, its just how sharp the splash brothers are what define the serie. He would be perfect for Lakers they love aging stars. In all honesty it's probably a good fit but with cp3, Bron and AD you will never know how healthy any of them will be and for how long they could sustain all being on the court together. 2 very intriguing games today. I would really love to see the Warriors extending their series and then proceeding to the western finals to rematch with Denver. I want to see how it goes when Jokic got help compared to last season. The Lakers however have the homecourt advantage and are so far 5-0 at home in this playoffs. This is the time that the Warriors need their deep experience and put their offense effectively while at the same time maintaining a steady defense. Andrew Wiggins though suffering from a rib injury wants to play but it remains to be seen how effective he will be especially in guarding Lebron James.
I have a -3 bet on Miami. I have more confidence that they will end their series against NYK today and avoids a game 7 on the road. But this may be close as hungry yet inexperienced NYK will try to force a game 7 at home.
The Warriors will have a very tough time winning tonight. Looks like Anthony Davis is going to play. If the Warriors can keep him off the boards and Klay, Steph, and Draymond have good nights, then they have a shot. Anything less and they will be out. Miami probably ends the series tonight. The Knicks have no heart. Look for Brunson to have a good game, but jusy not good enough. Miami closes it out at home. And the lower the stakes or league the better chance. When players make low salaries for a particular sport they are more influenced to throw the game. Same with the refs or umps. The "big 3" of NY was impressive though, especially Brunson obviously.
Yes, Brunson performed well as the Knicks were able to beat the Heat thanks to his 38 points. However, it's also worth noting that Brunson was on the court for 48 minutes. In other words, Thibodeau didn't let him rest during the game at all, and it seems to me that it's not a good coach's strategy because it's a big stress for Brunson's body, and he might not have enough time to recover before the next game. Thibs has no choice, his backup would have been Immanuel quickly and he is hurt. Thibs runs a 9 man rotation and in a do or die game you can't throw someone out there who hasn't played in 2 months. Maybe during the season but not in the playoffs. Quentin grimes also ran 48 minutes as well. I expect a little of the same tonight as well, these dudes are in their 20s and in tip top shape I think they will be fine lol. |

The Warriors won by 15 points. That was awesome, and now the series is 3-2. They will still be on the edge in every game, but they have a chance to win the series, especially if they win on the road, which is difficult.

In game 5 the Warriors won this game and right now the Lakers are still in the lead with 3 - 2 aswell, well like I have said if Game 6 the Warriors win this game 7 will likely become a Stephen Curry showcase of performance just like in the Sacramento Kings game, if the Los Angeles manage to win this over the Warriors then Lakers will advance to the next match up then likely almost half of the Warriors rosters will be traded for some players that may be a benefit to Stephen Curry's performance,
The Warriors really need to improve their performance on the road; if they continue to play the same way, they won't be able to win game 6, and the series will be over. Klay Thompson's shots have not been working for the past three games, so if the Warriors can find a way to activate 'Game 6 Klay,' there's a higher likelihood that we will see a game 7. The Lakers are only favored by -2.5 points in the next game, so if it's a close game, the Warriors +2.5 will likely be the winning bet. Unfortunately, looking at the past two road games, the Warriors have not covered the spread yet, making it difficult to decide at this moment. The best thing to do is to follow your instincts and have fun. Congratulations, the Knicks won the game and covered the -3.5 spread. They didn't miss a lot of shots, with Brunson, Barrett, and Randle having a great game. This victory extended the series. The Knicks' huge advantage in this game was their rebounding and their free throw attempts. The Knicks had 38 attempts while the Heat only had 19 attempts. Yeah it was a big game for the Knicks. The free throws is a bit skewd because miami started intentionally fouling Mitchell Robinson everytime down the court cause he usually sucls at free throws. Either way 2 for 2 last night! I wasn't sure about either one as they were both playing terribly through the series but home cooking worked out. Figure both series couldn't get closed out last night right?! |

The Warriors still haven't been able to dominate in the first quarter. Although they started strong, the Lakers were able to come back and make it a close game. The Warriors' 3-point shooting continues to be their main weapon. If they shoot well, they have a chance to extend this series.

Yeah it seem the Warriors game is gonna be a nail biter. Now the Dubs opened up a small lead again but as this series told us, 8-10 point leads can be gone within 90 seconds. I'm a little surprised about the NY game. 1st quarter 14 points by the Knicks and in the 2nd 36. How does this happen, haha. Was hoping the Heat would put them away today and everything looked like it after 12 minutes. Well never celebrate too early in the NBA I guess. They needed a big game from Butler and they didn't get it. The "big 3" of NY was impressive though, especially Brunson obviously. Thibs got the chance to put grimes back in the starting lineup. He has been one of the most critical piece of the success of the knciks all year. He is charged with covering the best player on the other team. He locked up Jimmy all game when he was on him. Grimes doesn't show out in the stats cause dude is just chasing people around. Jimmy was gassed by the end of the game with him on him. Big steal by grimes from Jimmy with about a minute to go while bam laid him out on a screen just prior shows how big he really is for the team. |

We may get 2 conference finalists tonight as a couple of 3 win teams are playing tonight. The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat both have the chance to advance tonight and neither are must win games for them. The Knicks and Warriors both have their backs against the wall as their next loss will be their last game of the season. I’ll be watching TNT tonight!
This will be an interesting night for the most of us and I know that there are a lot of people who are rooting for the favorites to win their respective games especially the Warriors later, and I know as well that these team's chances are somewhat good enough to force another game but I don't think that both Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers will just easily agree because if they can finish the whole series, they will. I don’t think whoever wins between the Knicks and Heat really matters. Boston and Philly would both destroy either the Knicks or Heat (in my opinion). Selfishly, I just want to see LeBron play against Durant but if I’m being honest I don’t think the Suns are going to beat the Nuggets. Denver is one all star shooting guard away from having the best team in the league. There's no chance of either the Knicks or the Heat making it to the Championship..and if it weren't for Jimmy Butler and my love of him (as a former Bull/Bulls fan) I wouldn't even be watching this series at all. But, he's a special player and of course an incredible player when it comes to the playoffs..so if the Heat do advance, I think he'll be able to will his team to at least a win or two..but nothing else. Chi I actually think that if it's the Knicks (which I doubt) you are right. If miami gentlemen sweeps the Knicks they will be an issue for either Philly or Boston. Both of those teams go to sleep at times and this miami team is all fight for 48 minutes. They will of course be the underdog but if miami goes through I'm laying a bet on them to reach the championship. |
