2261  Other / Archival / Re: Why has bitcoin adoption failed in El Salvador? on: June 02, 2022, 03:42:36 PM
I wonder if bitcoin is still in bull season until today and bitcoin's price hits $100k, will El Salvador's bitcoin adoption be considered a failure? instead of suspecting they had failed, people will praising El Salvador.  Maybe the way Nayib Bukele approaches bitcoin isn't really that good, but that doesn't mean they're failing. We all know bitcoin is a long-term investment so it is too early to conclude anything.

Accepting bitcoin as legal tender is a bold decision, but as the president of a nation, I believe that Nayib Bukele researched and planned his decision, a long-term plan. We're experiencing a bear market and like us, Nayib Bukele is probably struggling a bit with bitcoin's price plummeting. But just don't give up and keep going, El Salvador will achieve the desired results. I wish them success with my decision.
2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 01, 2022, 01:42:09 PM
Actually, it should be a clean sweep even though England is not probably going to play their main team. This is going to be a good experience for both teams and the Netherlands will have a lot to learn. I am actually really curious to see how England does in this series against the Netherlands especially after they have appointed multiple coaches for multiple formats of cricket. England is obviously no match for the Netherlands. So, I think this might be a one-sided affair.

England has announced the 14-member squad for the ODI series against Netherlands later this month. Three uncapped players are included in the squad - Brydon Carse, David Payne and Luke Wood. Since the test series against New Zealand will be going on at the same time, members of the test squad are not included for the series against Netherlands. And these matches will form a part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. Right now England is in a very comfortable position, with 95 points from 15 matches. A clean sweep could take them to the top of the table.
I believe that England very well know that they’ll win this series easily, and that’s why they’re keen to use this series to test their reserve player’s which isn’t a bad idea as those player’s will get invaluable experience of playing on the big stage.
2263  Economy / Economics / What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 01, 2022, 04:23:23 AM
I have a friend who invests in cryptocurrency like me, he is an investor hold Luna and he has also lost quite a bit because of Luna. But what's more sad is his 2 best friends. Those two are also hold a lot of Luna's and Luna's crash causes them to lose all their possessions and become insane. As he said, one person has gone through the crisis and one has not. Those two guys who invested in Luna were all from my friend's advice. He said it was he who indirectly harmed them, money can be earned, but his friend are gone.

This is a sad story that I have heard. Through this story I want everyone to know 1 golden rule in investing is: never give financial advice to anyone. By the time you give them financial advice, you may feel like you're one step ahead of them, but if that advice is wrong, you could be the one hurting them.
2264  Other / Serious discussion / What is self-victory? on: June 01, 2022, 03:21:09 AM
People always set limits for themselves, that they cannot or can only go there. That causes us to set limits on ourselves, which will unintentionally sag us as we move on.

We never know, The Universe is infinite and human has no limits, let everything go according to nature, try your best and always do your best, then your life will change. That way, your life will have a worthwhile change or a new miracle emerge in you.

Remember, thinking is our own limit, keeping unlimited thoughts will help you constantly move forward, overcoming yourself is the victory over your limited thinking.

2266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: May 30, 2022, 03:16:12 AM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?

New coins can make big profits, but they can also cost you a lot of money. Investing in new coins is risky, so besides the project owner (introducing their project), shiller (shitcoins), no one will definitely be able to recommend you a new coin that can guarantee profit.
The market is so bad that choosing a new coin now is no different from suicidal, learn the top coins to avoid risks. The current topcoins have just experienced a strong dumping so this is seen as a good opportunity as if you were buying low at the start of the project.
2267  Economy / Speculation / Re: A crash where Bitcoin wasn't responsible should be treated as such on: May 30, 2022, 02:21:54 AM
The current issue with Luna contributes on how the sentiments of the people towards how they take the market and for seeing the price continue to decline they mostly try to sell off trying to minimize their losses that's why we go on this far. But for sure all of this will be countered since the issue towards those huge incidents has been covered up and people sentiments has been diverted towards on good things right now.
Without a doubt the issue with luna has affected this market in ways that many people were not expecting, and while some may be worried about what happened, at the end of the day this has no relationship with bitcoin at all and this should not affect bitcoin on the long term either, which means that this is a golden opportunity to get bitcoin for sub 30k prices, so if you have some cash which you do not think you will need during the next years this seems like a golden opportunity to invest in bitcoin.

Yeah, I don't think it will affect bitcoin's price long term, we've seen the devastating effect on the economy from the Covid-19, and yet we have bounce back from it. This is just another noise in this bear cycle, and I think we will recover from it. Might take a long time because of the current conditions, nevertheless, maybe in the next quarter, we will forgot about this one and we will definitely move forward again.

The development of bitcoin is unstoppable, nothing can stop bitcoin. Not only Luna but even a ban of a large country like China cannot make bitcoin fall forever, bitcoin will continue to grow and go up after that. Is it just temporary.

Without Luna, I believe we will have to deal with other things. The downtrend is sure to come as we had a strong bull run in 2021, so don't be too surprised when a bearish cycle is in progress.
2268  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: May 30, 2022, 01:59:22 AM
Free cash? You mean fiat, he can be able to convert some bitcoin to cash if he wants, I can easily convert bitcoin to cash if I want. Also he can easily convert bitcoin if he wants to invest in other assets like gold. I do not see anything bad to leave his asset in bitcoin but it will be good for him to know how the price of bitcoin can be volatile but leading to all-time-high again.

Yes, it's stupid to not own any fiat. Any investment can crash, especially Bitcoin, with which it happens regularly, so converting it to fiat might be forced to be at a loss. A strong fiat currency like USD and Euro is not going to lose its value overnight. Inflation is predictable.
There's no 100% certainty, including bitcoin, that there should always be a backup fiat account, that's for sure. Inflation will devalue fiat money, but not so quickly that we won't be able to turn one's hand. Meanwhile, bitcoin's volatility is measured in minutes by hours and is almost unpredictable so it would be risky to hold all assets in bitcoin.

Some altcoins have value but just that we do not know the next that will follow luna, people should only risk what they can lose on altcoins, that is how I see altcoins.

Risks should be managed in a way that a potential reward is higher than the downside. With altcoins there's only downsides. They have no future, no one uses them, no one will use them. In 10 years globally nothing changed with altcoins - they have no adoption.
Totally disagree, not all altcoins are useless look what Ethereum has done so far. Bitcoin cannot make the success of cryptocurrencies today, without altcoins we would not be able to see the real value of bitcoin. Alt is essential if you still want the market to grow.
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $25K the bottom? on: May 29, 2022, 03:56:01 PM
Many people believe that $ 25k is not the bottom price this year, some even predicted to drop below $ 20k, but whatever happens I am optimistic that Bitcoin has the potential to skyrocket again, it has been proven that Bitcoin can skyrocket when there is a difficult situation in the year 2014 and 2018.

No doubt about it, whether bitcoin drops to $25k or even $ 9k, it will rise again and hit new ATH. A bear market is not good for my portfolio but I don't feel too nervous because this is normal and it won't last forever.

Many people predict bitcoin will go back to $ 20k but the market will usually not follow the trend of the crowd. At times like this, I think the market will go against everyone's prediction maybe the price will go up instead of down but it is not a sign of a bull market, but a price trap.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding my horses for now on: May 29, 2022, 03:39:35 PM
Is buying bitcoin right now the same with buying later? I stopped buying because it looks like Bitcoin dips isn't over, imagine buying at 19k per Bitcoin, I think the whole idea of investment is when you are buying not running after the best coins in the market, buying them cheap is better or I don't get it?.

What makes you sure that bitcoin will go back to $ 19k or just your personal prediction. If you keep waiting, that doesn't seem wise we can't predict bitcoin's price, so simply doing DCA is more necessary than waiting for it to drop as we predicted.

If BTC can't get back to $19k and bounce back from now on, you'll regret missing the chance to own BTC for $30,000. If you are a long-term investor, buying bitcoin is never wrong, don't wait for a price that is only in your imagination but look at what the market is doing.
2271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: May 29, 2022, 11:09:04 AM
If I purchase bitcoins via p2p, can I get some problems if the bitcoins I get were involved in some criminal activity ? If yes then how do I avoid such situation ?

I do not see a reason for concern unless you are at fault. Because while buying from a p2p platform, it is impossible for the buyer to know the origin of the bitcoin or whether it is a criminal proceed. You should have the purchase record in the p2p platform so nothing to worry there. But while buying from a reputed p2p platform like localbitcoins, always check the ratings and feedbacks of a particular seller. You will quite easily find a seller with great ratings and feedback.

Also check if the seller is a regular one by checking the most recent feedbacks. Sometimes, you will find a seller suddenly woke up after a long time which needs to be avoided. But if you are buying from a regular seller, you should not face any issue. It's extremely rare!

This is the action I always use, Whether you are trading on any of the exchanges, just check trader ratings and feedback and always only trade on accounts with 98% or 99% high ratings. Limit trading on accounts that get lots of negative feedback and low success rates, you will avoid unfortunate problems.

I trade on Binance regularly and I feel safe with it even though this is a centralized exchange and requires KYC to trade, but this helps us avoid frauds and scams, criminal assets.
2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what age did you start learning about bitcoin? on: May 29, 2022, 10:52:08 AM
3. With your current knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, do wish you started at an earlier age?
Of course this is highly desired by almost everyone who is familiar with bitcoin/crypto, because the earlier you know it, the more benefits you will get, but being able to get to know bitcoin or the crypto world is enough for me even though it's earlier or new than not knowing it at all .
If there are olders who can still understand or be interested in crypto I think it only happens in developed countries because crypto is related to technology and the internet and these two parts is more accessible in developed countries not in third world country.

This is what I think everyone wants, perhaps a lot of people regretted knowing bitcoin too late or ignoring it before. It's not too late because today's bitcoin and cryptocurrencies like the internet in the 1990s are both very new and just getting started.

Instead of regretting it, let's keep earning bitcoin and focus more on it, teaching our children enough knowledge about bitcoin so they don't have to regret it like we do. Today, it is not too difficult to teach children to get used to everything, especially those related to computer phones, they will learn very quickly.
2273  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: May 29, 2022, 10:31:01 AM

This time around we dropped to 30k and that is seen as a bad thing by many people but the relaity is that we could be seeing this as a great thing because if we do x6 again that would be 180k, a bit more and we reach 200k. So not only we have a chance to break over 100k, but we have a chance to reach 200k during next bull run.

I think 100k $ is a reasonable target, 180k $ for the next bull season is a bit high?. From 1 to 10 is simple, but 10 to 100 is completely different. The bearish cycle is not over yet and currently bitcoin is trading at $ 30,000 for me which is not too bad either. If bitcoin can sustain this price until the end of the bear season, my target is still $ 100k for the next bull season.
180k USD is a small amount to be targeted for the next Halving season(Bull run) in 2017 we hit almost 20k and in 2021 we hit almost 70k so look at it, that is more than 300% increase from the past ATH , so if we will look at it for 2025?  then that would be more than 200k so yeah it will be attainable i think..
but still depend on how we will support the market because we are the one who will make this happen .

Honestly, I do expect that to happen, but in my opinion it's too high to be achieved by 2025. ATH 200k by 2025 means that the price of bitcoin will have to increase about 6 times the current price. If history keeps repeating that, then we get the ATH you say. However, there are no guarantees, so it's all just conjecture since no one knows what bitcoin will look like in the next bull run. And if the cycle repeats, it is entirely possible that bitcoin continues to drop below 20k.

Arsenal “close” to Alvaro Morata transfer

See more: https://theshortfuse.sbnation.com/2022/5/27/23144381/arsenal-alvaro-morata-transfer-rumor-atletico-madrid-juventus
I believe they have made some good points in this article.
I really don't think Alvero Morata is an important target for Arsenal.
And I also believe that Arsenal really needs strikers who can finish well.
I obviously don't think that Morata is one of them.
Morata could be good for Arsenal. They can turn into a strong offensive team. Although Morata doesn't seem strong at the moment, after a while, he may be back to his old strong days. I'm sure Morata would love to be reborn at Arsenal. We'll see if the transfer happens or not.

The problem is, he will have to concentrate on his finishing, otherwise, it will be really hard for him in the English Premier League which is already a lot more competitive compared to the league that he is playing for right now, okay?

I think he can be a good addition for Arsenal but his finishing needs to get better. But if you talk about overall performance then I think he will be important for Arsenal because you know, Arsenal needs attacking players at the moment.
2275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 28, 2022, 05:04:26 PM
One of the reasons Barcelona didn't win any trophy this season, Barcelona didn't start well in the beginning of the season under the watch of the previous coach. Despite how Barcelona began so bad they were still able to end the season with an impressive position. Barcelona will do more better in the next season with the watch of xavi as the coach .
Let's just hope that Barcelona can perform better next season regardless of which players Barcelona bring in next season. Hopefully in the hands of Xavi Barcelona can triumph again. but if i may say, it is difficult for barcelona to remain consistently a strong team since messi's departure. It's no secret that Messi has been the spirit of the Barcelona team for years. Fact
When Ronaldinho left Barcelona, people also said that it was difficult for Barcelona to find an ideal replacement. Slowly Messi can break all public doubts, Messi has turned into a new superstar in Barcelona. Messi's departure to PSG leaves Barcelona sad, the team seemed to have lost their identity which made Barcelona slump. The arrival of Xavi was able to give new hope, Barcelona began to rise to the top of the standings. Next season Xavi will have to surprise, Ansu Fati can be polished by Vaxi as a new superstar at Barcelona, so that they can compete in La Liga and the Champions League.

There are honestly a lot of potential players who can perform really well for Barcelona in the upcoming days. It will be a little easier to get recognized in Barcelona right now because before it was Messi, Neymar, and Suarez in the Barcelona attack and it was really hard to make a name among these star players.

But I honestly believe that these younger players will not be able to perform anywhere near the level of Messi. But Barcelona have to forget about the past and try to do better in the next season. I believe they already have a good  Momentum from the last season.

According to reports,Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, who is 29,the player is set to leave Juventus in the window and make a switch to emirate. And reports from a close source says the deal is almost close to completion. It is yet to be seen whether this deal will materialise or not,but in my opinion,I don't think Arsenal will want to spend about 25 million Euros on a player who has clocked 29,knowing fully well that they have a project at hand, which is to sign only younger players below 25 years.Well, let's wait to see whether they will include Morata into their game plan.
Arsenal are constantly rumored to be approaching many players to bring them to the emirates, but the fact is that many Arsenal fans are disappointed when their team continues to fail in recruiting new players, this season Arsenal have often been linked with Gabriel Jesus, Osimhen and even Dybala, but so far haven't there is one player who is certain to come to the emirates, I think Morata is no longer comfortable at Juventus right now, but I think he might not be interested in moving to arsenal and hopefully arsenal fans don't expect too much from arsenal transfer policy, if not want to get a disappointment like their failure to get vlanhovic.

2277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: May 28, 2022, 04:46:59 PM
I think that the Serie A has started to become better after Juventus' highly dominance has ended. Because when they were dominating the league, there wasn't any significant competition in the league. And this was really frustrating to me as those seasons were quite boring. But now, things have changed and I have been just enjoying a big competition in the league for two seasons. In fact, the previous season was under control of Inter after a point but there was still a different champion than Juventus at the end. And now, Milan made it.  Smiley
Speaking in terms of entertainment and intrigue, this is undoubtedly one of the best seasons in Serie A. But I would say that this happened not because the other clubs became stronger, but because Juventus became weaker. And this is a big problem, since, for example, for betters, betting on favorites in Serie A was a pain in the ass  Grin

I also believe that the dominance of Juventus in the league was really big but that also certainly made the league a lot less enjoyable. Now Juventus is not that much dominant in terms of performance and that is because I believe the teams are a little more balanced in this League compared to before. and this was obviously one of the best seasons in Serie A  in recent times I believe. It had the interest of everyone till the last match of the season.
2278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 28, 2022, 02:38:37 PM
Liverpool may have an advantage. It's called neuro11
A small team that takes care of the mental strength of athletes. For free kicks, corner kicks and penalty shoot-outs, they help every player to have control over his emotions. They work with Klopp and the first successes are two finals and 17 of 18 successful penalties. In the League Cup final against Chelsea 11:10 everyone scored and in the FA Cup 6:5, here only one missed. It looks like it's working.
I don't think this final will require both teams to decide victory on penalties, although it's possible but I really don't expect it to happen. But I have doubts about that. I didn't expect the final to result in a lot of goals even though it looks like both teams can score. Liverpool have hopes of winning the match, so do Real Madrid but if I had to choose then I think Liverpool looked more deserving of the favourites tonight.

Liverpool is giving the best that they can give to win this Champions League final. I also believe that they are the more deserving team. But if we look at what Real Madrid have done to reach the finals we certainly have to say Real Madrid also deserves the Champions League trophy. I actually think this match might go to extra time and penalties. But I personally don't want this match to reach penalties. I believe penalties will not be the optimal solution and proof of which team is better. I think Liverpool will break the deadlock and we might have some late match surprise again from Real Madrid.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 28, 2022, 01:56:36 PM
Bangladesh could not win the first match due to some wrong decisions of the captain. And in the second match, Bangladesh lost because of poor team management and the poor performance of batsmen. Mirpur's pitch is a bit spin-friendly. The management has put players like Mosaddek on the squad who were not fit for this type of pitch. There are many more talented spinners in Bangladesh. Besides, 10 players of Bangladesh have been dismissed for zero runs in two innings.
Well... that is a startling statistic. Half of the playing XI getting dismissed before scoring any runs is catastrophic for any team. And it was completely unexpected, given the fact that the pitch at Mirpur was favoring the batsmen. And it is the same pitch where the Lankans made a 500 plus total in their first innings. Apart from Shakib's half century in the second innings, none of the other Bangladeshi batsmen (apart from Litton and Mushfiqur) made a score of more than 20 in either of the innings. It was a very meek surrender.

There is a simple explanation for why Bangladesh's batting lineup failed miserably in this test series. That is they cannot play test cricket at all. Sri Lankan team is going through some rough times right now. They should not have had any chance to win against Bangladesh but they ended up winning the series.

It is obviously not t20 cricket where only one player can win his team the match. In test cricket it has to be a team effort otherwise it is not going to be enough. I really don't think Bangladesh should have the test status anymore and probably that is the only where they will start getting better in test cricket.
