There is one benefit of buying inside the shop which is basically just making sure you could buy something you want by seeing it, but aside from that I do not think that online shopping has any disadvantages at all.
But it's also a point that can cause trouble for us if you're in a hurry and order online. But when you receive an item that is not what you want, you will have to spend more time waiting for them to change or accept to use it reluctantly.

And I know it is going to sound silly, but it is not just beneficial financially because of cheapness, but also because you do not buy something you don't need. At shops they try to sell you something, retail workers come and try to convince you to buy a thing you don't need, but otherwise when you are shopping online, you may see something you don't need and buy personally but there will be nobody that is forcing you to buy something.
For direct purchases at the store, it is easy to refuse the advice of the employees, I think it is not too difficult to do that.
In short, both have their pros and cons, as @savetheFORUM said, shopping for variety and making the right choice can save us time and money.

Bitcoin is a means of payment, not an investment instrument.

Well, bitcoin is a means of payment, a currency, and also an investment. But I can tell you, 99% of these market participants see bitcoin as an investment rather than a payment method as it was initially designed for. There are many people who are taking advantage of the volatility of bitcoin to improve their own economy, and if this volatility goes away and bitcoin becomes stable, I believe many people will leave it and find another ideal investment channel. That's what's going on and we need to accept it.
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: January 19, 2023, 10:38:44 AM
FTX drama may not have significant impact with bitcoin's price but we have seen that sentiments were fairly negative at that period.
Now, that FTX is claiming they seemingly to recover about $5B assets, the mood changes as people see hope for this case.
But in any case, I don't think SBF will be jailed as it seems, there are financial backers that may possibly want to bail him out.
Bail him out meaning, there may be big financial investors that will possibly assist in the recovery of his business.
that's for sure, because surely there will be big investors who take advantage of this situation to save SBF and later want to work together to build again on several cryptocurrency projects, I'm very sure of that.
dramas like this are very predictable, of course, behind SBF there are many supporters who want to help or instead take advantage of the situation for personal gain in the future to cooperate with SBF and maybe SBF if in prison will also be placed in a special place.

about the FTX collapse, maybe it has a little effect on the price of bitcoin because there is an impact from it all, but we all know that the impact is only temporary and will definitely recover again.

I don't think big investors will find a way to save him and will cooperate with him in the future, with the scam scandal, no one will have the courage and confidence to invest in any project in which with the presence of SBF or Dokwon. Recently, the founder of Three Arrows Capital wanted to raise capital to open an exchange called GTX, and they received more ridicule and criticism than support. Shows that scammers of the past, they will never get a chance to contribute to the market again.
1384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: January 18, 2023, 06:32:55 AM
I still see it 50% for Barcelona and Manchester United both to advance to next stage in the Europa League. Because while Barcelona are improving their performance Manchester United aren't just watching these days. Manchester United have made a big progress in the English Premier League recently and maybe it could be even a bigger one than Barcelona's.
However it is nice to see Barcelona starting to get over their problems against powerful teams. Maybe it was a Super Cup game rather than a La Liga one. But still both managers were eager to win that title.
IMO, I'm not a fan of The Red Devils. but looking at United's current track record, they appear to be showing a very positive trend. Ten Hag, was able to take his troops one step further than before. even so, I can't say that Man United is already in their best performance. at least, Ten Hag still needs some newcomers to strengthen his team especially for pure Strikers. because after all, Rashford will not always perform at his best in every match. but, at least United have now shown a pretty solid game. next, Ten Hag still needs a little time to bring United to win trophies in various competitions.
On the other hand, what Barcelona displayed in the El Clasico Super Cup match Espana. enough to impress me, Barcelona looks different with the new formation and rotation of players that Xavi has implemented. even so, the victory over Madrid is not a benchmark that Barcelona will win the match against United in the playoffs later. So, this is the game we've been waiting for.

Even if someone asked me how the match would go between these two few weeks back, I would've said that we would get a really dull match. But right now as it seems, we are off for a great game of football. Both Manchester United and FC Barcelona have been in insane form lately so it is going to be really hard to predict who might come out as the winner of the match.

Manchester United recently won the Manchester Derby. And Barcelona have just beat their rivals Real Madrid in the finals so I guess we can say that we are going to have a really competitive game between Barcelona and Manchester United and whoever wins this game will have an edge over winning the Europa league altogether.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 09:09:57 PM
Most supporters of Man City believe the game was rigged in favor of Man UTD but I'd not know that since in football, one has to lose some and win some. I enjoyed the performance of Ten Haag's men and it was quite refreshing to see they where not daunted by the presence of the Citizens' golden boy(Haaland), but instead blocked all the attempts they made.
I could see the frustrated look on Pep's face knowing they were going to not just lose three points, but also another chance to win in a Manchester derby.
They are different, I don't understand there are indeed several fouls committed by Man United players that may benefit Man City. But discussing the game that has already passed seems like a waste of time. Because it will not change the final result.  The most appropriate next step is to improve their appearance. Against Man United Haaland couldn't move much and I think that's what cost them a loss. Next they will play against Tottenham. Of course, it is not an easy opponent even though Tottenham also lost to Arsenal 0-2 in the last match.

In my opinion, I would not say that the match was rigged in favor of Manchester United, but rather that Ten Hag's team played exceptionally well in that game. In the short time that Erik Ten Hag has been in charge of Manchester United, they have been putting out some really stellar results, and more importantly, since Cristiano Ronaldo left, they have been on a winning streak. Manchester United won a tough game against Manchester City thanks primarily to the performance of Casemiro, who played a key role in stopping Haaland and as a result, Manchester United won the game.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 16, 2023, 02:03:17 PM
Yeah, it's true that Dortmund's been selling a lot of their top players but we gotta remember that's just part of the game. Dortmund has to make decisions that are best for them financially while others already have a bunch of money to throw away. But even with all the players sold, they always seem to find new talent and that's pretty impressive. I think as long as they keep doing what they are good at (transferring and playing), they'll be able to compete in the top 4. Don't forget they're still a strong team, they just need to get back to consistent performance
They have a good approach that helped their club resolved their financial crisis years ago. After that, they got some successful seasons but did not change the approach. It is not good if they want to win trophies but it helps them to have very good finance that is one of best in Germany.
I see the approach of Dortmund is like Monaco in Lique 1 and Sevilla in La Liga. In comparisons, Sevilla is a most successful club with this approach. They did not win La Liga but won many Europa League with 6 titles in their history and all came from recent seasons. Dortmund and Monaco have similar approach, buy young players and sell them with expensive price when they became star players but failed to succeed like Sevilla.
Maybe Dortmund wasted too much attention and resources for Bundesliga where they have nearly no opportunity to beat Bayern. Sevilla are different and they mostly focused on Europa League.

Yes, there are a set of clubs who maintain this financial policy which is to scout out potential future stars and nourish them into making them better players. And finally, sell them to the bigger clubs for a huge transfer fee.

We have been seeing these from Dortmund over and over again. They have sold players like Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland, Mario Garza, Mats Hummels, and a lot more players in the same manner.

Another team is Monaco who have sold players like Kylian Mbappe, James Rodriguez, etc. I think even though these teams do not rank higher in the leaderboard they make a good enough revenue from the transfer market.
1387  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best exchange in the US? For bitcoin on: January 16, 2023, 04:43:12 AM
What US based exchange do you recommend for acquiring bitcoin?
Exchanges are an important topic in cryptocurrency, although 2022 ended with the scandals and bankruptcies of several centralized exchanges.  It is everyone's hope that such an undesirable event does not happen in 2023.
The USA is an important country in cryptocurrency.  Many people in this country are directly and indirectly involved in cryptocurrencies, so they use various exchanges for cryptocurrency transactions every day.  However, some of the most popular exchanges that have emerged in America at this time are mentioned below.

Coinbase
Binance US
CEX.io
GEMINI
Kraken

On this list, I think you should remove Gemini because of the problem they are having in November 2022, they have to suspend withdrawals due to the FTX crash. I don't know if they have restored everything, but it seems they still haven't resolved the issue, and things are getting increasingly tense as they and the DGC are accusing each other.

OP should only use Coinbase, the leading US exchange, or can choose Binance.us, the US-specific product of the world's largest exchange Binance. If I were in the US, I would use coinbase, I find it the safest.

Could be a mind game from guardiola to put another level pressure on artera to make him overconfudence and hoping for arteta to fall on it , i could be wrong but guardiola always doing his thing in smart way , i still believe manchester city the one who could catch arsenal.
Despite arsenal being unbeatable right now.
I don't think so. You shall see that arsenal was winning against totenham. Having 8 points gap to the arsenal was a lot. Arsenal will be facing manchester united which will become a very strong opponent that may prevent arsenal to get full points but with the current performance from arsenal and im not even feeling doubt if the club will able to win against MU. City will be also facing totenham. These matches very important for both. If city keeps performing like when it was against united and i think that draw may become the result against totenham.
It seems like that guardiola starting to be hopeless to get EPL for this season. Pep was focusing to get into the UCL right now

The way arsenal is playing this season is obviously something that cannot be underestimated. So the 8 points lead is going to be very beneficial for Arsenal. And by now, I am quite sure that Manchester City is putting the champions League as the main target of this season. They do not care if they are the second team in the English Premier League this season. They have to win the Champions League title. That's what my assessment of the situation is.

And if that is the truth, Arsenal is going to try to take advantage of this situation and be the title winner of the English Premier League this season. Arsenal already have eight points advantage which they are also not going to just throw away anyway.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 16, 2023, 04:02:36 AM
I do not understand why Atletico Madrid is so unstable, and it happens all the time. In the previous match against Barcelona they played well, although they lost that game. But now against Almeria, why do they play so badly? They also got a red card. I guess Atletico was lucky that they didn't lose this game at all.
They always do the same strategy by only making defensive schemes and taking advantage of counterattacks. against Barcelona this was indeed quite good because Barcelona played attacking but when facing a team that was actually under them like Almeria it was clear this was not the right thing to use this scheme.
snip
It's true that Atletico Madrid only took advantage of the attack again but they weren't able to press the same as the game with Barcelona, was it because Diego Simeone's strategy was no longer effective enough, after I noticed when playing big teams Atletico were able to perform well but when playing with a team under Diego Simeone's troops also not so optimal.
Maybe what you said is true Diego Simeone did the same scheme again.

Actually, the reason why Atletico Madrid is not being able to improve is that the coach Diego Simeone is not someone who is attacking. He says that if you have scored one goal, just keep defending. But we all know that even a lead of three-four goals is not enough in this day and age.

So, I think the defensive mindset of Diego Simeone is the reason for the downfall of Atletico Madrid. His strategy is outdated. It does not work anymore in this era. And the sad part is he is not being able to realize that.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2023, 09:17:29 PM
100 million is now the usual price for a player who is clearly above average. It's time to get used to it. Moreover, taking into account the level of income of English clubs, and most importantly, the level of competition, when 7-8 teams claim the top 4 at once, I think this is just the beginning of a "dead spiral": the clubs are forced to spend more because otherwise they will fall out of European competition, but other clubs they also spend more (there are only 4 trips to the Champions League) and this destroys their budgets. Within a few years, I'm sure the Premier League will have to come to some kind of cap on either wages or the entire budget.
100 million is looking more like a regular fee for potential younger players this days. My only worry for this kind of arrivals to the premier is pressure to settle down fast. The fans and football loves create high expectations for this kinda of players and this way them down. Ten Hag has recently said he doesn’t want to sign players with huge amount or high wages because of the expectation that comes with.

A lot of people still think that 100 million is a big number for a transfer. And a player needs to have a certain set of skills and proof of performance to get a transfer like that. I think people need to understand that recently the world has gone through big inflation.

And that have decreased the value of money significantly. So right now a hundred million transfer is not that rare. If a player does have at least a little bit of potential, he can get a 100 million transfer. In this case, I think that's what is happening. No way I think that this player deserves a transfer this big, but thanks to inflation. I personally do not believe that Chelsea should have made this transfer.

KTChampions, I also think that you are absolutely right. If Chelsea is still going to keep the coach, I believe that they will have to spend a lot of money doing that. If this does not work out it is going to be a disaster for Chelsea.
1391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are the Whales Control bitcoin price? on: January 15, 2023, 03:04:14 PM
I think whales don't have full control over the price of bitcoin, it all depends on market demand where the market will continue to move if there are lots of buying requests,
but if someone has a large amount of bitcoin there could be a possibility of monopolizing the price, but until now I'm still thinking who will start buying bitcoin with a high value after a long time having a value far below the last highest price

It is true that whales do not have full control over the price of bitcoin, but they are still somewhat controlled. The current bitcoin price is not determined by supply and demand. Bitcoin is an open market, so it is normal to be manipulated by big players. In the past 1 week, bitcoin price has increased by more than 15%, and there is no news related to bitcoin being bought more, causing the price to increase. The price increase happened very suddenly and it was no different from being manipulated.
1392  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 15, 2023, 02:47:46 PM
Can't believe how bearish people are/were on this poll. The idea of continued downside next year is the equivalent of accepting a multi-year bear market that could last up to a decade.

Only a small survey I know but the fact nobody is expecting a new ATH this year makes it seem more possible. Even if it lands us back in the $30K to $60K range shortly after.

This survey was conducted at the beginning of January and at that time the market did not have a positive movement so people were still quite pessimistic about this year. But it will be interesting if OP creates a new survey these days as bitcoin is showing strong signs of growth. I guess people will quickly change their minds because of the euphoria that bitcoin gives them.
I still predict this year is still another bear year, I don't think the market will recover so quickly. We have 11 months left until the end of the year so anything can happen.
Many surveys choose this is that bitcoin is recovering, it could also be because the movement of bitcoin at this time is really fast from $16k to $21k, people will definitely have this belief without any pessimism in their hearts, it's just that we can't be sure whether this bearish has ended or not usually after this there will be another correction of a fast positive trend.
The journey is still long, I think $25k-$30k has the potential to be achieved this year. We can see from the current journey of bitcoin that will move later.

I still believe in the possibility that bitcoin can hit $30k, or it will be a good end at the end of the year when it hits $30k in preparation for 2024. But the remaining 11 months will be very long, and it is hard to say that bear season is over and bull season has arrived. We just saw an increase from 15k to 21k, we quickly forgot that bitcoin fell from 69k to 15k.

I have a habit of going against the crowd trend, when up to 42% voted "Bitcoin is waiting for a recovery, the bearish trend is over". I predict that bitcoin will have the opposite movement.
1393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 15, 2023, 02:48:05 AM
Lens was supposed to win this match quite easily. But in the end, it was not truly easy for them. I would say that Lens had control over the match. But they could not do too much with all that control. I've seen they had possession of the ball a lot. But they could not create too many good chances with that. After all the penalty was the only goal scored in this match. And after that, the red card made it very hard for Auxerre to come back in this match. In the next match, Lens will play against Troyes. I am expecting that Lens is going to win that match as well.

Lens had a pretty interesting match against Auxerre to be honest. I would have expected a much more comfortable win by a big score difference. But instead they didn't even have goal attempts that were close to the number of chances they had in the first half after Auxerre got that red card. Lens should be more productive in such easy matches to prove themselves worthy for a title race.
For now it still feels like Marseille can get past them soon and finish the season ahead of them as well. It depends on how effective Marseille will use their squad quality.

2nd T20I match Ireland cricket-team vs Zimbabwe cricket team. Zimbabwe is playing very badly in this match. Zimbabwe cricket team batted first and gave Ireland a moderate target. Ireland cricket team has been able to meet this target very easily. Ireland played very well in this match. Due to the very good performance of the Ireland cricket team, Ireland won this match against Zimbabwe. Congratulations to the Ireland Cricket Team
The runs that Zimbabwe scored in the match were the right runs to win. But Zimbabwe's bowling line was very weak due to which Zimbabwe lost this match. Ireland did well in both bowling and batting. Due to which Ireland won the match very easily. But if Zimbabwe in the match  Ireland would not have won this match so easily if the ball could have done better.

Zimbabwe was not economical at all in this match. They conceded a lot. That is why even though they scored a good amount of runs in the first innings, they were not able to defend that at all. In the end, I am going to say that it was quite easy for Ireland to win. Adair played really good innings. Honestly, I think if the Zimbabwe bowlers could be a little economical, they could win the match.

Now the series is tied 1-1. The next match is going to be the decider. I actually want to see Ireland win the next match. But obviously, Zimbabwe is going to be ready for the next match. They will also learn from their mistakes.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2023, 03:54:08 PM
It is remarkable that Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig played against each other in a friendly today. By this I mean the fact that they will also face each other again at the end of the month before the competition. Today was just an exhibition game, with no less than 8 goals and a final score of 4-4. RB Leipzig led me t1-3, but how seriously can we take the results of friendly matches? I don't have the lineup at hand, but I don't think Bayern Munich played with the strongest lineup today.
Bayern Munich's competitor today was Salzburg not Leipzig.
But still it was really a great game which ended by an absurd score. As this is a friendly game I don't think the score matters much just as many people think the same as me. But at least it helps the players gain some match fitness before the Bundesliga games return soon. When it comes to Leipzig, they already have a game against Bayern Munich right after the returnal to the league. Leipzig couldn't get a win home against Bayern Munich for nearly five years so they would like to finish the series. But I don't think they will be able to do this.

This was a crazy match between Bayern Munich and Salzburg. At one point it felt like Bayern Munich was going to lose this match. There was a lot of late drama in this match as well. I generally do not care about any friendly matches at all. But this match was interesting and I actually saw the highlights and also some parts of this match.

Anyway, I am quite sure that this is not going to have any effect on the performance of Bayern Munich in Bundesliga. They are supposed to win against Leipzig. I am also quite certain that they are going to win the league title as well.
1396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price, January. $20000 or above possible? on: January 14, 2023, 09:24:09 AM
we are here guys if the price maintains above 20K we are gonna see 25K level soon, but maintaining in this price will be hard RSI and stochastic showing overbought level so don't all in right know  especially in futures Grin

As bitcoin is currently experiencing strong growth, I also predict that it can continue to rise up to $25,000. Currently, investors are watching but when bitcoin goes higher there will be Fomo because people are afraid of missing out. There will be many people rushing to buy bitcoin to wait for the bigger pump to make a profit, but that is when bitcoin corrects. Anyway, it's just a prediction, no one knows what tomorrow will bring. I will stand outside to observe more because I am currently accumulating, not selling.

Let me tell you something, do not believe that anything cause this present bull run other than it is just time for bull run to occur.

Maybe you are right, at the right time bitcoin will go up for no reason, we have been in a sideways and bearish situation for a long time, so bitcoin recovery should also be considered normal. Because no market goes up forever and no market goes down forever. The fact that bitcoin is still a market that is manipulated by sharks, they can pump bitcoin whenever they feel like it, so we shouldn't be too surprised. Bitcoin is on strong bullish momentum, breaking all predictions, and all previous technical analyses, bitcoin is really unpredictable.

Now, with this defeat surely we will have few changes in Pakistan and Babar Azam can lose his captaincy for the one or two formats which could be good for him because he needs to concentrate on his batting like Smith, Root and Kohli despite having this headache of captaincy which is also too early for him.
We could fairly say that Pakistan was playing really well and picking wickets at regular intervals and once Kane Williamson was out after a brilliant run out thing could have gone in their favor but the innings from Glenn Phillips took the match away from them. The positives i see in this series is that, their fielding has improved which resulted in a few run outs and they took some incredible catches as well.

Pakistan tried their hardest to win this match. It was a really good performance from Pakistan. Just not good enough. One problem of Pakistan that I notice is they have to be a lot more punctual and disciplined in bowling. I can see, they have conceded a lot of extra runs. That came back to hurt them in the end.

Otherwise, Pakistan performed really well. And they can take away a lot of positives from this match. The sad part is Pakistan almost had it in their grasp and then it slipped away.
1400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 13, 2023, 01:17:10 PM
It's too much of a headache to even think about if the market already bottomed or not, instead of doing this I will keep buying when I have some money since we are still in a bear market anyway, if BTC dips to 10k it is going to another great opportunity to buy.

I have a portfolio I built when BTC was 17,000$ in June 2020 and I have another portfolio I built when 15,000$ per BTC happened, it won't hurt to build another if 10,000$ per BTC happens.

Indeed, trying to determine the bottom of bitcoin only adds to our stress and is a waste of time. Even though bitcoin is trending up and can hit $20k but in price comparison, bitcoin is still down more than 70% from ATH, which can be said to be a bargain price to buy. It is confusing for those who are still waiting for bitcoin to bottom without buying from now on.

I decided to begin accumulating when bitcoin fell below $25k because I thought it was a price that was in line with the target I had set. And I will keep collecting bitcoins until the halving happens.
