2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is better? on: August 25, 2017, 05:21:15 PM
No doubt if you are looking for a pump and dump, then BCH looks to be the best one atm that has gained its stance in the cryptocurrency markets for more than 3 weeks now which is commendable and stable coins are different which consist few coins like XRP and BTS which will give high returns in the near future.
2282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie coins, worth to invest on: August 25, 2017, 05:16:18 PM
DENT is not the correct choice tbh as I have seen many carelessnesses being shown by the managers as well as devs from their end when it was related to paying their users who advertised for them as well as many users complained too about them not giving the bonus coins that was promised during the start of the ICO. I think you should try some better coins ahead like VIBE which looks solid with a vast community of singers and event managers being focused on the main front.
2283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: August 25, 2017, 04:54:28 PM
The price looks interesting to me atm but I really think that as this coin has survived this long and is still trying its best to compete Bitcoins, neither am I saying this in its favor nor am I against it but it is definitely a chance that we should grab because a possible pump may take place for BCH in the future and we should be prepared to get out with the profits at correct time.
2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash will be THE Bitcoin on: August 25, 2017, 04:28:15 PM
if this write up https://medium.com/@shludvigsen/traders-guide-to-bitcoin-cash-bitcoin-segwit-819933694b34 is correct, then one has to buy some BCH and hold.

Very interesting article, but I doubt BC will ever see another EDA scenario like we saw already.

I wrote that article, and I am happy you found it interesting. We have seen the EDA kick in several times now, and it will not stop until 1 Bitcoin Cash is worth more than 1 Bitcoin Segwit.

I can't do anything reading that but laugh the hell out. Initially fee, then block sizes, then compression of transactions and now difficulty adjustments.
Why are people trying to trim everything here and not seeing what's getting increased? Do you think it will be easy for those who will install BCH's wallets on their PCs to keep up the space with its number of total blocks being mined? Just think that if it mines 6 blocks of 8 MB size each an hour (if it ever does), that would take 48 MB of space per hour, 1152 MB per day, 8064 MB per week and 419328 MBs per year. Can you afford?
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 25, 2017, 04:17:41 PM
Blockchain used to address everyone through their recommended fee that how much should be the regular fee and how much should be the priority one. I am having a transaction stuck since 4 days now, here it is:
https://blockchain.info/tx/244d914d1c153921a58dad947bd55766d478128b4fb4229583b7bf46545f80a1

I chose to go with regular fee as I saw many transactions being confirmed with even 4-5k sats in fees, so decided to send 11k in fee which is double than that. I know I didn't choose the priority one due to which this transaction is stuck atm, but could anyone help me out with this?

Is SegWit activation the reason why my transaction (seems to) have been sent in the backlog? I have tried ViaBTC's accelerator and they are just giving the same result: "Submissions are beyond limits. Please try later." If there's any miner here, could they please pick this transaction and have it confirmed through their own voluntary choice?

And everyone, congratulations to have SegWit onboard now.
I just accelerated your transaction after you message me your transaction ID as a request earlier and now your long wait is done since it's confirmed already by antpool, and get 1 confirmation.
And a friendly reminder always makes sure you set the transaction fee as a priority when using blockchain wallet if this huge spam attacks still continue it will cause you trouble.

Hey, thanks a lot for all your help dear, I got it cleared as well as the person I sold them to, is extremely happy due to this.
Just want to ask that as mempool's backlog is filling with too many transactions which were sent with low fees, will miners ever take a chance on clearing these non-SegWit transactions if they switch to SegWit transactions or will there be a monopoly and noobs will suffer?
2286  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Speed up BTC unconfirmed transaction to confirmed on: August 25, 2017, 03:23:22 AM
Have PM'ed you but I am asking it publicly as well if you or anyone could help me accelerate this transaction -

I will also send something to the one who helps out as this transaction is stuck since 4 days. Smiley

Thanks for the payments guys. Smiley
I'm not complaining but again, if payments remain to be in BTC itself instead of USD then it will be much better for everyone.  Roll Eyes
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 BCH = 1 BTC before end of august? on: August 19, 2017, 07:42:32 PM
No, that won't be possible because it is clear that what BCH had been experiencing for 3 days was a solid pump and it does not look like it will hold on for long, so it's better to stay away atm and keep calm because even if BTC goes down, it doesn't mean that BCH would take over BTC as BTC will always remain number one and I see no reasons for BCH to compete BTC during long journey. If it was to go 1 BTC, it could have shown such a big difference when it started itself but it dipped down from 0.48 to 0.06 and it shows that BCH is nothing more than just another pump dump coin.
2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: August 19, 2017, 07:25:06 PM
Bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme tbh - and that's what I wanna say because your words sound like you are trying to say that in your statement.
Bitcoin can be termed as an asset and taken as an investment instrument as well because it gives profit as it is a currency that can be moved in its own way but it is more of an experiment and should not be taken just for profiting by trading as it teaches us how we can face the challenges of life and come out being much better than before.
2291  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: August 19, 2017, 06:47:42 PM
According to what I've seen and learned about Bitcoins, the more it falls the more it tends to recover.
In lieu of panicking during the time of a dump or whatever you call it "a bubble burst", I think selling is not an option but closing your windows/tabs and stop watching is the best thing that I always prefer to do because panic will always make you take the wrong decision and you will regret in the future. It's good to wait than going wrong due to hastiness.
Yes, this is a common scenario with bitcoin, the price of bitcoin will increase to a certain level then drastically decrease and then increase back strongly to break the old price. But many people still panic and sell all their bitcoins, this is one thing I can not understand, it seems they do not trust bitcoin and they always regret in the future. With Bitcoin, I have missed many opportunities in the past because I panic selling but gradually I realized the price of Bitcoin will rise higher and higher, and from the time I realized that, I do not panic sell my Bitcoin, I always put faith in Bitcoin
One major concern I can see a lot of people taking to heart is that the higher the value of Bitcoin goes, the more money is ended to move the market. While having consistent patterns, such as increase > decrease > higher than 1st increase, increases confidence for future positive trends, it's harder and harder to have a higher value per Bitcoin because of the sheer amount of money needed to buy one; let alone multiple, for the average person. It mostly comes down to people like you holding that keeps the value higher imo, if there was a lot more movement in the market the value would likely have been kept lower. But that's just speculation on my part and in no way grounded in reality.

The money that you are talking about, is being circulated itself and it's not getting harder but easier taking into consideration the demand that is rising with the rise in price and decrease in supply as well. There were many exchanges who declared shortage of Bitcoins recently when pump happened and there was a rush to buy Bitcoins at any cost. Holding is a beauty imho because we won't be selling altogether suddenly which will keep the price inflated as well as stable at those levels. Whatever are your thoughts but faith is all we have in Bitcoins that it will be "something" which it is already. Everyone used to say that 1k is impossible for Bitcoins, and you can see the prices yourself. Bitcoin works silent and lets its success shout.
2292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH threat to BTC? on: August 19, 2017, 06:35:57 PM
The only thing that's confusing me here is who is mining BCH other than ViaBTC?

no one. viabtc is bitmain, the mystery miner is bitmain too. bitmain created it and bitmain is subsidising it to the hilt.

But according to the news, Bitmain rejected to support BCH atm, right?
Then how did they come back into the picture and why would they leave BTC? Bitmain is a huge company and if they would have switched, BTC's difficulty would also have adjusted and BTC could have shown some signs of dump as they have been a major part in the BTC mining network.

It was really a pumped and I managed to get out at my buy price, thanks to those who pumped it.
I thought BCH could be something huge because BTC is falling and BCH seems more profitable to miners in terms of mining but it turned back and is facing a downfall once again, so no more worries for BTC. The only thing that's confusing me here is who is mining BCH other than ViaBTC?

Bitcoin is falling? What are you talking about, this makes no sense? On the contrary, Bitcoin is on the rise and BCH is just another altcoin that on long term has no perspective. It's just a lot of marketing and many people connect it to Bitcoin that is why BCH got big attention. But there is nothing behind it.

What would you call a dip from $4500 to $3900? A 10% fall right? OR a correction wave?

2294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 19, 2017, 03:42:44 PM
BTS and XRP are the most cheap available coins in the market that you should look for if you are willing to buy something for extremely cheap and hodl for long time. The more you will sow in them, the better you will reap because these coins have many good reasons to pump up any day - BTS transacting more than a million transactions and XRP is being accepted by banks.
2295  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will it fall? on: August 19, 2017, 03:33:44 PM
It's down atm already and some "cheap" coins are available in the markets and after this possible double bottom situation, we may be in a spiking situation which would drive us above 5k and won't stop there as it is getting very hotter for Bitcoins this time. We are all into the November drama and I hope that BTC holds its highs till then because as everything settles after that, it would be able to shoot straight away for a bigger target of $10k which is my goal until where I won't sell.

2297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bcash (Bitcoin Cash) Speculation Thread on: August 19, 2017, 02:22:12 PM
I've cashed mine 3 minutes ago. For those who hodl: good luck. I just didn't want to keep a coin that has nice profit now but an uncertain future...

I think that the BCC will show itself later. May be when the BTC starts to fall, many will look for an alternative to BCC.

i am hold now and will wait about 1500$

It's a challenging situation for both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to prove themselves and BCH is currently being seen to be the most profitable coin in terms of mining as difficulty is being settled down slowly and as more miners switch/start to mine BCH, we may see BCH to be gaining speed as they expected but still it won't replace the position of BTC that it handles, ever. But it's my personal wish that both of them remain in the markets to see which one of both the versions has, what it takes to sit on that position.
2298  Economy / Speculation / Re: from $4350 now down to $3860 per BTC.. what is your prediction ? on: August 19, 2017, 02:08:03 PM
Lolz it's not just you but we have all invested in Bitcoins, and someone saying Bitcoins could go to hell is probably trying to make you sell in panic so they could buy it cheaper at their expected price so don't do it and just hodl. We all are expecting the price of BTC to reach $5000 but it is not going to be easy and it shouldn't be because if we go there in an effective manner where everyone decides to trade nearby that area, then chances of dump from that target will remain lower. So just wait and watch the perk of markets.
2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why does Bittrex have Bitcoin Cash listed as BCC instead of BCH? on: August 19, 2017, 01:35:13 PM
There have been few exchanges which have listed it as BCC and many are taking it as BCH. To cut the confusion over this, I would ask you to see if the exchange where you want to trade it has BitConnect or not because BCC is being used for BitConnect and Trex don't have it so they chose BCC over BCH.
Whether it is BCC or BCH, you can go to the markets section and just search for Bitcoin Cash and it will show that directly to you.

Sorry I don't think this is a good method.
Bitcoin payments should be based on USD conversion.
This way SolarDAO always pay the same amount.

Full Member: $40/wk max
Senior Member: $75/wk max
Hero/Legendary: $100/wk max

Your payment is calculated from the number of posts.

Ex:
Full Member with 25 posts

(25/40)*$40 = $25 payment in Bitcoin

Everything stays the same.

If that would have been the case, they could have said that before just like Rollin.io announced that they will be paying based on USD and not BTC.
Still to remove your misconception, I would like to draw your attention towards Bitcoin price.
It used to be $4500 and it is currently $4000, so even if they pay based on my calculations, i.e.; [Will be taking max posts that I proposed (30 posts) into consideration]:

Full member: 0.012 = $48
Sr. Member: 0.018 = $72
Hero/Legendary: 0.0225 = $90

And for your kind information, when they were paying a maximum of 0.03 a week for higher members, the price used to be above $3600 which totals it to $108 and my prices are still less than what they used to offer and is under their budget. What I have proposed is in their interest as well as FORUM's interest too.
