1401  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitraiser | Darknet site for money raising on: February 24, 2020, 12:48:36 PM
I definitely think there is a need for a fund/crowd raising platform that can address the more controversial projects. I am not referring to illegal projects, but rather projects that would get a major push back from the industries that it wants to disrupt. < Examples : Banks / Money transmitters etc. >

The voting system is a nice touch, but I also think it would be a better option for you to add a reputable Escrow system, because the anonymity of the DarkNet will add to the mistrust in the whole concept and the Escrow system will add some credibility.  Wink

Don't you think that adding an escrow system still does not justify the trust of people on them, seeing that who becomes an escrow? What will happen if they propose their escrow and the escrow wants to remain anonymous as this project is a darknet one?

A friend of mine live in a country where Marijuana <Cannabis> was recently legalized and he wanted to get funding for a small farm and manufacturing plant for medicinal Cannabis oil, but none of the financing companies wanted to approve his application. A platform like this will give him a alternative option to accomplish that dream.  Wink

Marijuana <Cannabis> have several medicinal benefits, https://www.green-flower.com/articles/health/medical-uses-of-cannabis

That is true that Marijuana is not something only being used for false purposes, but any projects involving such things like these need to have an agreement between bitraiser and the 'fundraising person' that they agree to give all the details about themselves (like KYC) before applying for a fundraising campaign because this will show that they are serious with their project and are not willing to use the funds for illegal purposes.
1402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story with leverage on: February 18, 2020, 10:30:46 PM
Leverage has become increasingly popular recently now that more and more people are advertising their massive gains from leveraged (gambling), and many derivatives exchanges actively advertising the high leverage offered on pairs certainly doesn't help either. The winner for all of this ends up being the platform, and I even recall Bitmex used to have a much lower maximum leverage a few years ago (something like 20/25x) before they upped it to 100x, probably to reel in newbie gamblers. It's certainly extremely worrying how many people are misusing leverage, though.

It is not about how people are misusing, but how they are not correctly using this feature and getting busted every time they leverage trade. Leverage is meant to lure highly addicted traders [gamblers] to their websites and make them deposit more and more after losing all their balance. They also allocate you a personal assistant who helps you in taking decisions in markets and tells you what to buy/sell. You need to trust me on this that you should never listen to these suckers, they will just make you lose in 3 trades and will show us the disclaimer afterwards that they just gave us opinions and the rest decision was ours only.
1403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Scammers move 12k BTC - dump is comming? on: February 18, 2020, 10:16:53 PM
means because of this that makes Bitcoin prices yesterday down?, I just know if there is news about a scammer, but if viewed now the price goes back more than $10000, it is possible that in will continue the bull trend

Yesterday's price decline had nothing to do with these news, in fact BTC never runs on top of news but volumes. There was a lot of volume down to be eaten up by Shorts and they knew they could make a lot of money, it was just a pullback and a move by Shorts to try keeping the price under $10k but that did not happen and BTC is yet again above $10k today. Yes it is in bull trend but things won't be as fast as they were in 2017.
1404  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 18, 2020, 09:45:32 PM
Doesn't that sound like a centralized trial to win over decentralization? What will happen if major countries try to push their citizens to stop using cryptocurrencies and shift their focus to their national digital currencies? Is it good for the economy of Bitcoins and other alts? What can happen if these countries stop you completely from buying other cryptocurrencies and restrict your use of crypto to their national coin only?
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 18, 2020, 09:19:29 PM
The ways you have shown had opened my eyes towards one incident which can be related to gambling or can be said the same. I was going to my college the first day, the Seniors came ahead and started asking me which sem I was coming for? I replied with 1. They asked me to go to a place where I will need to do whatever they ask or I will not get an entry, I was a bit scared about what was going to happen with me. I went to the place they were expecting me at, and saw that students' ragging was going on. I had my teacher's number [as the person who was going to teach me was my relative] but no phone, I tried and gambled my way into managing a phone from someone standing 5 feet ahead of me and he gave it to me. I was saved that day due to that call else nothing could have saved.
1406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story with leverage on: February 18, 2020, 08:53:32 PM
You also forgot about the fee on takers against makers, if you make a trade you will save a lot in futures fees. Never go for cross margin trading on any of these exchanges as it will not just liquidate you in circumstances when markets go against you, but your entire capital will be at risk and will get swiped away from your hands if one wrong trade happens. I trade with a maximum of 20x but I keep isolated mode on, so if my trade even closes in aoss, it will not take my entire capital but just the USDT I allocated to that trade.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 18, 2020, 08:17:01 PM
I gamble on dice games these days and you know that it is the most dangerous and quick way to win or lose your entire capital and even more. I win a lot but sometimes lose due to that greed, greed that stops me from withdrawing or stopping the game there and come back another day. I feel like, no, I need more BTC now and my luck is doing good so why not play more? I lose everything if I keep that mindset during gambling. The best thing that I consider being a gambler is, you need to know about your mistakes and keep a track of all of them, so you will not repeat them again in your future.

1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 18, 2020, 08:03:48 PM
The worst reality is that people have accepted Bitcoin as their next best get-rich-quick scheme where they will invest their money and double it a day after. I don't understand why they don't get a simple fix done to their mind that there can't be any thing so easily gained, and we need to work hard to achieve what we expect from our life. They choose not to look into how things work, they choose not to understand that in this world nowadays, almost every thing is full of scams and nobody can be trusted so easily and when they get scammed, they complain. They should not do it if they don't have the time to learn about what they are going to buy exactly because without complete knowledge, even I will not let my grandson buy an Apple stock.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 18, 2020, 07:13:47 PM
Concentration
Concentration helps make your mind powerful and sharp, you should concentrate on the amount of BTC or alt you are gambling while also checking its value in fiat.

Sharpsightedness
Do not, never gamble what you cannot afford to lose.
If you have already lost a big percentage of your capital, stop there and leave because that 50% remaining capital can be of some use to you and something is better than nothing.

Zero Ego
Keep your ego aside and don't fall for the loss trap your mind throws on itself when you lose and just double, quadruple your bet size, this will multiply your losses and there's no guarantee that the next bet will be an assured win.

Patience
Last one, patience. I know you were asking how to keep it, I ask you to keep your finger away from that roll button so not to keep pushing it even while winning, because one loss and you start doing it again and again which will result in a bigger loss if not done with patience.
1410  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: February 18, 2020, 06:47:25 PM
Well, tbh I'm not a doge fan and rather prefer XRP over it for some reasons. I had been gambling XRP long time since BTC crossed its 1k mark, yeah long ago and XRP is still my favorite one on wolf bet too. I don't think I will ever get that 100x win on my XRP bets as I never won such bets 'not even close to those numbers' as my luck only favors me on max 5x bets.
1411  Economy / Gambling / Re: Issues with sportsbet on: February 18, 2020, 06:33:25 PM
I have been a player on Sportsbet and had same sort of issues while betting live, but these consequences will occur considering that live matches have many possibilities - like the game changes every minute or it remains blank and nothing happens 'like in Soccer', while in tennis, you see the odds changing with every single game played and a score taken place on board.

I have a question -
Did you check 'Accept odds changes before bet placement' and 'Quick bet' in your preferences before placing one of those bets during live play?
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: See a bitcoin/crypto scam site? Don't just ignore it. Report it. on: February 17, 2020, 06:25:53 PM
One more application I want to share with everyone here for possible safety measures towards all types of scams. Watchdog by Cryptopolice [link takes you directly to the chrome extension] - a project meant for community, driven by the community to save us from getting scammed. The app is free of cost - a great initiative that must be forwarded to everyone for more and more reports and a better crypto space.
1413  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ DuckDice.io 🎲 Faucet 🎲 Rainbot 🎲 Jackpot 🎲 Wagering Contest 🎲 1%Edge 🎲 on: February 17, 2020, 02:44:11 PM
Had been a player on duckdice for more than 8 months and have never had any problems faced with either deposits or withdrawals. Once I faced a problem with my referral earnings not getting updated, and tried to reach the admin through the support. Though it took a bit long like 2 weeks but everything went great afterwards as the admin recalculated and credited my referral earnings with a bonus to my account. I will definitely recommend my personal friends to join here, deposit and play because others may not trust me and think that I'm endorsing for them for some money (I don't mind).
1414  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Win 0.2 BTC From 0.8 BTC Balance In Dice Fast - In 10 Minutes on: February 17, 2020, 02:22:13 PM
so tried out this strategy. i just had autobot set to stop in 60min.

i ended up losing 64 BTC

whoever made this thread, there will be hell to pay!!!
Nah it's not his fault, yeah Op is an idiot , but you're an even bigger one if you actually followed this strategy . it would've been easy enough just to read a few of the comments here.      Though I quite doubt it if you're someone who can afford to gamble 64 btc away that you have no clue about dice , strategies , and probabilities if a strategy is good or no.
I highly doubt that you lost 10 k satoshi on this strategy , let alone 64 btc. But feel free to prove me wrong ,with some evidence of the so called 64 btc lost.

Heh, we have all started fighting with each other punching our faces while talking about OP's strategy? Why so? He just stated that you have more chances of losing your entire capital instead of winning it all at a shot, and I don't think where did he said wrong. Not claiming that his 64 BTC claim could be true, but you, on other hand, started a debate on something that was just sarcastic to some level and every other user here understands why he said that. OP had been continuously trying to come with some twisted comments just to let the debate go on, but there's seriously nothing in this strategy. See yahoo's comment on the very first page of this debate and there is nothing much to know about.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: February 16, 2020, 07:02:51 PM
you gotta read between the lines, there will never be a lawsuit. he is just an attention whore who needs to pull something like this every now and then or he is going to be forgotten as the idiot who tried to scam people and was laughed at.
but this way, we keep talking about him every damn day! imagine if news sites agreed not to mention him ever in any of their articles. then it would be as if he doesn't even exist.

That is true, he is looking like a homo trying to convince everyone that he is straight. I don't think we need to have him in the news all the time, but he has got a lot of money to influence the media and make them publish 'sponsored' articles about him where he can make them speak what he wants to present to us and not what is the real truth. These are mind games actually, so that everyone's focus remains shifted to him while he entertains us all the time and want us to think that he is Satoshi only.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 11, 2020, 10:59:14 PM
Volatility is the only thing which is holding most of us back from adopting crypto but we need to accept the fact that volatility is the only thing which will be constant in crypto world and as far as I have seen most of us store bitcoin to sell it at the right moment as it's an asset for us and people reframing using bitcoin on daily transaction at least during the good market situation or bull run.

Volatility is for the good of Bitcoins and crypto because Bitcoins are limited in number and it needs that volatility to reach to its real value some day and that's the fun of crypto that nobody knows what is the actual value of Bitcoins. So when we have that fun to play with, why should we put a lot of focus on it?
1417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The harmful side of quick merit earn method. on: February 11, 2020, 10:39:00 PM
Trading merits for a few dollars is also punishable, I don't know where and how such people committing this, can be found. Though, that user got what he deserved and it is a lesson for those who look for shortcuts and end up in forum morgue by having their account totally worthless. I ask all the newbies and lower rank users of the forum not to take any such shortcuts please because putting efforts to gain something feels great 'if you have that 'conscience' in you.
1418  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcoin Doubler and Hyip site seller. Also spamming by multi posting. on: February 11, 2020, 10:23:58 PM
Why not create a flag too for them when you know they are doing something that is not supported here? Hyips and doublers are meant to scam users and selling these scripts increase the chances that either innocent people who try to buy these scripts get scammed by this seller, or the buyer's intention is to scam others. So, opening a flag that gains good attention as well as support will help raise an alarm against that user and a warning will always stalk them wherever they post.
1419  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC & Crypto Market Update: BTC Clears $10k, Alts Gaining as bull run ensues on: February 11, 2020, 10:18:17 PM
I hope also some low valued alts to grow, do you think they will start grow or is not possible?

Why not? Some of those people who were saying that only few of the alts will rise, please come back here and explain why each altcoin is having a rally of at least 10 - 15% ? Isn't it because the bull run has begun once again? This alt season will be quite interesting to watch and invest into, because while some alts are doing good, a few other coins are performing great against BTC.
1420  Economy / Speculation / Re: Scammers move 12k BTC - dump is comming? on: February 11, 2020, 10:10:17 PM
I think they would go for an OTC deal 'or it looks like it has already been done by them and BTC had been sold' because exchanges would ask for KYC for such an amount of BTC to be sold directly, while still not allow them to do so if they are tracked down as scammers. I don't think they would risk the coins by sending them to an exchange, but have done it the OTC way.
