2281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about Terra Luna Classic on: January 22, 2023, 10:19:11 PM
Hello,
Is Terra Luna Classic recovering?
I doubt that it's entirety will recover.

Why does TrustWallet pay 15% profit to staking it?
CZ isn't even delisting it on Binance so, I think that he's still keeping the one that he's got from the team and they're in total loss with this project. A 15% is attracting more people to stake it but it's useless because it's not going to go up unless you still got a lot of it and you've taken that before the debacle because you can't sell it due to big losses.

As long as people are buying and selling it and he can make a percentage on the trade then why not.  It amazes me how much people are willing to put into luna at this point.  It's a complete gamble that will eventually fade away.  Lunacy if you ask me.

Take Mike Evans, he's a hugely underrated wr.
And he is very conditioned by the current situation of the bucs.
Being a lifelong bucs you see just how his season depends on how he throws the wind for the team.
The two years with Brady prior to this have been flawless, this year has been a disappointment along with the whole team.  Prior to Brady he too had up and down seasons depending on his team.
Then, by the law of large numbers, if you evaluate his entire career, a Mr. wr still emerges, with the highest number of tds ever in his team.
But season by season it always depends on the whole context

these are my 2 cents

There might be a communication barrier here.  Don't know what you are getting at bucs along with Mike Evans are probably on some island on vacation right now.

With being said so are my giants.  What a terrible game that was.  Worst playoff game overall I've seen in a long time.  Boring end to end.  Backing the Bengals from here on out.
2283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 22, 2023, 10:12:34 PM
Sacramento Kings are 3rd in Western Conference! Just let it sink in guys because this is a real achievement from a small team that have been working hard in silence for all this years and finally they are having a great season. This small club really deserves more as we see people are back in the court when team is playing and if we take a look 2 years ago on Sacramento games , we will have saw empty seats over empty seats but it's not the case anymore.

Even if they lost last night , they still scored 127 points without having a great defense game because hey , no one is playing defense anymore this season ...

Glad to see teams like Sacramento step up it gets tiring to see the same teams at the top.  Sacramento crowd was awesome years ago when they had a competitive squad with Mike Bibby, c web, stojacovich, etc.  They have a fun team to watch but like you said zero defense.
2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: January 21, 2023, 10:57:27 PM
the meme coin that is most likely to have a high value in the next 4 year cycle, I believe Dogecoin can be more than $ 1, therefore I have continued to buy it since last year because I believe in the Dogecoin community, which is always loyal to support it, especially since Elon is behind it

Not moving much when bitcoin did doesn't bode well for doge.  Usd of course it will go up if bitcoin does because most everything is pegged against bitcoin.  I don't think it will outperform bitcoin in the long run so I see no point in buying any at this price.
2285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Playoffs on: January 21, 2023, 10:54:52 PM
I went with the Jags with the points here as well as the kc ML.  With mahomes out (don't know if he is coming back in) could be a closer game.  And then I had to take the giants, Homer fan but they got the whole 2007 vibe going on.  In Philly is gonna be a tough game but I like theor chances.
2286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NFL Sportsbet.io discussion & predications thread rev on: January 21, 2023, 08:33:41 PM
Cowboys was the clear winner of the matchup last night as now the Buccs are out.
They couldn't come up with any offense in the first half with Dallas being up 18-0. Second half they managed to get something together but at that point it was too late.
It was a shame for Brady as I think father time has finally caught up with him.
I was hoping their defense would step up since I had Dak to throw an INT prop in my bet builder but their defense is just as bad and can't force a turnover.  Tongue
Looking at the games next week I might go with the Jags spread if it goes up even further. The Chiefs' offense can easily put up at least 30 points but their defense won't probably stop the Jags' offense unless Trevor Lawrence throws several picks again.
Think alot of people are going to bet on the Jaguars match or include it in their acca for this weekend.
Jags quarterback doesn't seem to nervous about facing Mahomes when he gave a reporter the other day his order from the wafflehouse he was eating at with his team mates. https://twitter.com/Jaguars/status/1615438986821918726
Interesting statistic though he is 37-0 on Saturdays:
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/18/trevor-lawrence-on-37-0-saturday-record-i-dont-really-think-about-that

Lawrence threw four interceptions in the first half which probably was a record for a post season game.
https://www.sbnation.com/2023/1/14/23555713/trevor-lawrence-interceptions-nfl-playoffs-chargers-jaguars

Jags might have that underdog feel but let's not forget that the cheifs been here plenty of times.  I actually like the cheifs in this one as the road ends for the Jags.  I'm hoping for all good games but I think this one might be the widest margin game of the weekend.
2287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: January 21, 2023, 08:31:27 PM
Today I got the cheifs by a field goal and the giants 27-23.  Yep I know I'm a giant fan but just feeling it.  Hurts might have healed a little more but he could do little to nothing against the giants practice squad a couple weeks ago.  Tomorrow I got the Bengals and the 49ers.  I actually thing the 9ers and cowboys game is going to be a high scoring game.  Should be a fun weekend
2288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 21, 2023, 03:20:14 PM

We still don't know where his son is going to play, what the rumor that we have been hearing and it seems to be true, that Lebron is going to play still and wait for his son to be drafted in the NBA so that they can make another record of father and son.

And who knows, maybe his son will be traded to the Lakers just to make his wishes come true.

There are a lot of scenarios right now, but we will have to wait. First Lebron will have to break Abdul-Jabbar's record this season, that's his motivation for sure.

He keeps doing well and I think to secure breaking that record, the team needs to extend their chance for the next round. If they will be eliminated, it might pause for a while.

Almost and if they will make it to the play in or if they will get that chance to play in the playoff
he will be able to break that record this season. We really can't accurately predict his next journey
and what he will bring to his fans.

He is only 283 points away from Jabbar, that record is gonna is going to be broke before we even break for the all star game possibly.  I think there is around 13 more games or so to the all star game.  So if Bron averages around 25 a game he will.  Never thought anyone would run down that record.  As a high level scorer Bron took 20 years with little to no injuries to break it.  He might hold this for a long time.  I could see Luka one day challenging that record if he has the length and injury free career Bron has had.  Dude can fill up a stat sheet.
2289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: January 20, 2023, 10:54:54 PM
right now it might seems to be the case but of course there's always possibilities that the market could turn the tides again after all we are in the middle of economic crisis in which brings so many uncertainty.
even though currently we aren't even recovering fraction of what we've lost from the previous corrections, I guess seeing the market is getting better is a relief, after all what could've been better than seeing our investments increase in value.

It will take more than a one week positive movement.  Lots of factors need to persist to start considering the bear market is over.  I can easily see this sliding right back to 17k with the slightest bad news.  Fools gold, and there will be plenty of profit taking which will apply lots of sell pressure on the price.  It's been awhile since people booked profits.  Small leg up but I expect it to dip back.
2290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 20, 2023, 10:37:14 PM
I am %100 sure that Bronny will be drafted even if only for his fathers name. Dude doesn't need to play all that much, there were a million antentekoumpos in the league just because Giannis was in the league, which means that they wanted to get his brothers in order to maybe have a chance to get him too, but that did not work. I am sure Bronny will be anticipated, and Lebron "may" go to the team that drafts him, just these two ideas would be better than most second round picks. Like seriously, whats a 55th pick guy ever does? Its very rare you find a gem there, hence its better to get Bronny for a hopes of one more year from Lebron and make a killing with profits thanks to jersey sales. I am sure it will happen, just don't know which team.

I've seen the kid play, He is "ok".  Right now he would get embarrassed even if he stepped foot on a summer league NBA court.  No chance he makes an nba squad.  I get it everyone wants lebron but let's be honest Bron will be 40 years old and his kid won't ever see playing time.  There is 2 spots and locking up a ton of money in Bron.  Kind of hamstrings your team.  Kid needs to get better which he very well can.

Another night another night to right the ship here :/

So far after digging in I like the Warriors +11.5 at clevland
Heat on the road -1.5 at Mavericks
Grizzlies on the road in LA -6

and finally one home team Sacramento-4.5 at home.

Good luck to everyone tonight.
2292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 20, 2023, 08:34:24 PM
He is wise indeed! But I'm really curious if the Los Angeles Lakers will be the end of his road and will be the team to officially retire his jersey because at the back of my mind, I'm also thinking that he might choose to retire with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where his home team is and where he get drafted. Anyway, we still have a few more years to enjoy LeBron James greatness, so let's cherish it while he's still active and hopefully he can add one more ring.

Next season, LeBron James will have his player option and no one knows if he will leave the Lakers or form a new contract with the team. I'm also not seeing him retiring in the Lakers jersey but there are things that might be the reason/s why he will stay with the Lakers until retirement.

First, LeBron's family is already settled in the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny is also studying there and is part of the school's basketball team.

Second, Bronny might enter the NBA draft next season, and Los Angeles Lakers are the only team that might push on acquiring him as LeBron is hoping to play with his son, even just for a season.

Well then, we will see it all in the off-season.

Bronny can't go into the draft until 2024 at a minimum.  He isn't eligible to be in this draft unless you meant 2024.  And even then he is a 4 star recruit, unless he really improves he's on the fringe of even being considered a draft pick.  Between upper classman, international talent, g league, etc it will be tough for bronny to Crack the draft.
2293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 20, 2023, 07:04:49 PM
How about LeBron James’ triple double last night. Amazing that he’s still able to put up such huge numbers with 0 turnovers. He’s one of only three guys to ever score 45+ over the age of 35 and he’s done it more times than the other 2 combined. He’s a medical marvel the way he’s able to perform at his age. Truly something special to watch that will be looked back on someday the way we look back at Michael Jordan’s time in the league.

I can't honestly say that I'm surprised about it despite his age because the man has been pouring so many efforts since he was drafted in the NBA and his vision is so wide that he already set-up his goals since then, that's why we are seeing him investing millions worth of dollars towards his body so that he can stay fit and healthy throughout his whole career. In fact, I've haven't heard that he suffered some serious injury in his entire career that made him waste a single season. LeBron James is truly a one of a kind in his generation and a legend in the league.

He is wise investing with his health and look what he is harvesting right now, at his current age and still has that performance which is, really
something that his fans will cherish once he has already retired his jersey.

Fans will remember him as an alpha of his generation, a prime player who dominated the game where talents are really being competes by many
names around the league.

His legacy will be remembered with prime stars like Magic,Bird and Kobe and Jordan.

I can't see lebron finishing up in a Lakers uniform but who knows.  I think it really depends on what the Lakers do in terms of personnel.  No doubt he wants another Crack at a title run before this is all over.  Once he catches Kareem amd points all focus will be on that next championship.  As constructed lebron doesn't stay Lakers aren't built to win.
2294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Elon Musk posted Santa Twitter Doge on Chrismast day? on: January 19, 2023, 10:11:50 PM
Christmas has passed and Elon Musk really doesn't tweet about Doge anymore, of course this is bad news for Doge holders,
I think Doge already has a very high ROI, even Elon Musk I'm sure already has more profit than Doge because Doge has become almost $1 because of him.
So forget about Elon Musk's tweets and just focus on technical analysis, surely you will be calm if you understand that.
Even though Christmas has passed, we don't know if Doge can still increase again or if it will stay like this, even though Elon is no longer tweeting about Dogecoin. We must remember that Dogecoin is one of the coins owned by whales. Although now it seems that the whales are transferring their assets to other coins, but this Dogecoin is still a low value that the whales can shake. We don't need to wait for Elon because he only wants to profit by shaking up the market with his tweets. And yes, forget about Elon and better focus on the current market conditions to be profitable again.

Doge is just a bunch of people baghding and day trading.  Anyone who wanted a stack of doge already bought it in the last run up.  With supply always going higher its only inevitable that doge starts dropping to even lower prices here.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 19, 2023, 10:09:57 PM
The trade deadline is fast approaching. So far, there are no major changes in different teams. I was expecting earlier that some players in Utah will be traded for more future first-round draft picks. And as usual, there are too many writers that always bring the name of the Lakers for clout. I don't even know if the Lakers' management changed its decision to let go of another future first-round draft pick in order to get rid of Westbrook's huge contract. Another team that I am expecting to make an aggressive move is Dallas which is currently struggling with its defense. Luka Doncic badly needed help.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the Jazz already have 14 first-round draft picks after trades in the offseason. So it would be funny if they wanted even more draft picks. As for the Lakers, I don't think they'll even try to trade Westbrook before the deadline because it's unlikely other teams will be interested in him. It's easier for the Lakers to just put up with Westbrook for a few more months.

I don't know how many more first round picks they can actually take.  Remember the NBA squad can only field a 15 person team.  Unless they draft some international stashes for the future there's issues with trying to draft 5-7 kids every year.  There is no room for that many.  I actually expect them to use some of theor capital for someone who is looking to offload a star player for picks.  Utah has issues getting free agents to sign there so they have to trade for theor stars.

New week new playoff round.  What's everyone thinking as of today?

So far like the giants +7.5, division rivals always play tight in playoffs.  Still not sure if jalen hurts shoulder is OK.

I like the under in the cowboys and sf game.  Shoukd be a defensive dog fight.

Then gimme my SB pick and the KC Chiefs to win against Jax and then....

Bills/Bengals, I just can't decide here.  This is going to be the best game of the weekend I think right here.  Between the cheifs/bills/Bengals I can see playoffs involving them for the next 5-10 years.

These are going to be some good games this coming weekend.  Especially Dallas Cowboys vs the San Fran 49-Niners and The Buffalo Bills vs Cincy Bengals.

If I had to make bets on each game, I would probably take the Chiefs at -8.5 over the Jags.  I would take the Eagles over the Giants at -7.5 (sorry bud lol), I'll take Cincy Bengals at +5.5, and the I can't decide on the Niners vs Cowboys.  Both those teams are hot, and I feel pretty evenly matched.  If I had to guess, I would take the Niners a -3.5.

My Super Bowl pick is San Fran vs KC.

I don't blame you for taking the eagles.  They are a machine this year.  They can easily just blow out the giants.  But giants played them to a 1 score loss with our 2nd team on the field when eagles needed to win.  Beating the same team 3 times in a season is always tough.  Hoping for a tight game in the end just don't want to see a boring blowout.  Giants already exceeded my expectations for the year.

I got destroyed yesterday going 0 for.  Tonight's another night though so hopefully I can win some back.  Going to take all 3 home underdogs.

Timberwolves +5.5 at home
Suns +3 at home vs Nets
Portland +1.5 vs sixers.

And then I'm gonna take Boston home -6.5 have to take them with a small amount of points at home.

Good luck everyone.

@DireWolfM14. However, to witness Brock Purdy in the superbowl or to witness a miracle that the 49ers win the superbowl because of a deep pass would certainly be another classic underdog story for the sport. What would the 49ers do to Trey Lance next season hehehe. The fans and the viewers might want to watch more of Purdy.

That would be a good issue for San Francisco to deal with.  But if Brock Purdy even leads them to a superbowl and lose it, you might see Purdy as the starting qb next year.  I know SF put a lot of time and draft capital in trey Lance but none of that matters over winning.  Look at Brady and what he did to Drew Bledsoe.  You win you play simple Smiley

I think it was mainly a fad.  There will be some need for nfts in the future but paying 10s of thousands of dollars for a silly internet picture will soon be a laugh at the table with your friends about how stupid it was.  Don't give me this art thing they are mostly all just cash grabs for their creators. Nfts that serve an actual purpose will gain traction though.

Going to the Knicks game tonight so I got to put some juice in them!

Other games I'm into is Memphis-7.5 if Donovan doesn't play.

Lakers +4 at home against the kings and I will also take Denver-8.  Yeah they play close sometimes but them at home in single digits against anyone not named the Celtics I'm taking.

Good luck everyone (especially to everyone betting on my KNICKS!!!)
