2301  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 22, 2023, 11:22:25 PM
Apparently the administrators of Freebitco.in have gotten very greedy lately: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/freebitco.in?stars=1

That's a rough patch considering the track record and credibility of this platform.

I put trust trustpilot as much value as newbie accounts in bitcointalk. Both of them van be weaponized with money, either for praising the product or FUDding the competition.

Also i didn't even find anything that would make Freebitcoin admins "greedy". And being "greedy" is just weirdest fud. Like not every company out there wouldn't want to make more profit.
2302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: GeckoAI - new AI project. Crypto analysis and prediction of new growth on: February 22, 2023, 11:01:02 PM
Hello, everyone!

We are trying very hard and have almost finished designing the website. We have also almost finished developing the contract and are planning to launch the token as early as next week.
-cut-
Lots to do it seems. Do you have a whitepaper? Because whitepaper link on your page leads to telegram channel. In fact most of the links in there lead to telegram channel, even the uniswap buy link. Docs lead to medium blog Tongue.

But if this is going to be an announcement you should move this to here and make this a proper announcement. If you are looking for opinions of your web page/project, you need to provide more information.
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: Eu Cina vs USA russia oil vs Green energy on: February 22, 2023, 10:30:29 PM
Green energy is mostly solar power.
-cut-
I would like to see some sources for this. From what i gather it's mostly hydropower and wind energy. Solar surely has been growing a lot but so far it's not been without challenges. I am certain at some point it won't be as expensive as panels gets more cheaper efficient and durable and maybe self-cleaning.
2304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the future of bitcoin without powerful nations? on: February 22, 2023, 10:18:18 PM
-cut-
What do you is the future of bitcoin at this point?
-cut-
Big countries have always caused fear uncertainty and doubt for bitcoin's future. And for a good reason. If they ban fiat money pairs from cexes or freeze any fiat money that is originated from bitcoin trading, we are pretty much over and back to p2p trading.

-cut-
Do nations or people have power over bitcoin price regulations?
-cut-
I don't understand the question. Nations can't decide what the bitcoin price is. People are doing it by trading it.

-cut-
Do you see a good outlook soon?
-cut-
Definitely, i've seen the fear of the markets before and it's always been similar before the rise.
2305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - is the bottom in? on: February 22, 2023, 10:10:46 PM
On technical analysis i haven't seen really convincing confirmation, but in terms of how the market and atmosphere feels like for someone who has experienced 3 big bear runs and 2 and big bull runs. This definitely feels like the bottom is in. It's nothing specific or technical. It's a combination of things that feel so familiar.

Even the Republican party is starting to turn on Trump
-cut-
If my memory serves me right, didn't they do that last time as well before he was their main candidate? And soon after they realized he is winning they turned to praise anything he said as spineless as they are. If DeSantis seems to b losing they will ditch him too and praise that traitorous clown again.
2307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [HFT] Hashflow Speculation on: February 22, 2023, 06:54:31 PM
Ok lets talk. Lets start by not using 1h charts but zoom out a little.

I've never even heard about this token, but i am intrigued and so confused. What the hell even is this? A Dex a part of some game? How does the dex have a fiat ramp planned in the roadmap?
What makes me even more intrigued is that Binance believes in these by listing them and they do research for fundamentals, or at least they should do some

2308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos to stop minting BUSD on: February 22, 2023, 06:03:36 PM
GM crypto fam.
So, the NY Department of Financial Services has ordered Paxos to stop minting BUSD effectifly as of yesterday (Feb. 21st).
How big of an impact is the government's crackdown on crypto going to have on the crypto market's growth in the US?

source:
https://app.getresponse.com/view.html?x=a62b&m=BJvOSR&mc=9M&s=BtgXWnG&u=QcLhh&z=EJo0QoX&
I am still assuming this claim about Paxos is true and they somehow messed up:
Quote
“violated its obligation to conduct tailored, periodic risk assessments and due diligence refreshes of Binance and Paxos-issued BUSD customers to prevent bad actors from using the platform.”

Because only other reason i see for this is that they would have done it out of spite. Because end result isn't keeping anyone safe. In fact Further attempts to drive down stablecoins could lead to catastrophy in markets and might hurt people more then FTX ever did. Dedollarisation would be an interesting thing to see but ultimately that could mean not only end of stablecoins, it would mean end of fiat pairs. And i don't have a clue how we would survive that.
2309  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 22, 2023, 05:43:10 PM
In order to qualify for airdrop, as stated in the tweet, you need to fulfill at least one of the five conditions, where each entitles you to conditionally 1 ticket in a draw where 10 users will receive 10,000 BTNTY tokens, but since there are not so many participants, there are chances.

That is absolutely correct!  Wink
Are these winners gong to be picked from all 5 categories or are they just being picked randomly? Because i am assuming that there are way more entries for retweets and multiple bitnity accounts against those stakers and liquidity providers.

Also i are you going to do a public raffle with verifiable results or do you just hand pick winners (aka your alt accounts and friends)
2310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: February 21, 2023, 11:40:26 PM
BAYC and CryptoPunks have been around for some time already, and I think they deserve the hype they've got and the popularity they've gained over time. But you are right though, I feel a lot of NFT collections are overvalued while some which are much better than them have got not as much value as they deserve.

Gaming NFTs will surely take the market by surprise in these coming couple of years as blockchain-games get a boost. There are a lot of GameFi projects currently being launched that have a lot of potential to explode in a year or so and their in-game NFTs will surely be valuable if the projects become successful.
But crypto market value isn't based on "deserving" the marketcap. People would value different things and i am sure there's enough people for every coin out there saying that they don't deserve their marketcap as high as it is. For a long time now i have accepted that adoption doesn't mean that best tech would win.

It's weird how much i still have defended NFTs in this forum even though i personally don't even understand the value of physical collectables. Maybe that's why it isn't as big leap to me.
2311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CBDC and Regulation discussion on: February 21, 2023, 10:26:36 PM

CBDCs will be much more restricted than a stablecoin. As you've said before, they cannot be used in "De-Fi" protocols or even decentralized blockchain networks. Stablecoins would be a much better option in this regard. They may not go away after CBDCs are launched, but they will certainly be regulated "down to the bone". Regulations are inevitable, especially when governments want a piece of the pie.

People will trust a CBDC more than a stablecoin, just because it's backed by the government. But that doesn't mean stablecoins will die in the long run. Each type of currency will have its own respective advantages/disadvantages. It'll be up to you to decide which one to use for your own benefit. Who cares about centralized digital Fiat currencies anyways? As long as we have decentralized alternatives like Bitcoin and Ethereum, nothing else matters. Just my opinion Smiley

Yeah they definitely are coming, there's not question about that. But i don't see them "better" in a sense that they are not comparable and build for different reasons in mind. Stablecoins are a way to go if you are into DeFi.

But if you want just to hodl fiat money, it's not like it will be optional to go back to current fiat money system after CBDC has taken the whole system over. So i don't see it as better than stablecoins, but better then current fiat-money transferring system in general.
2312  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can tribalism encourage one world currency on: February 21, 2023, 10:18:49 PM
We have different cultures, tribes, race, ethnicity, policy, environments, climates, way of life and thinking as well as many other diverse factors that make every human race slightly different in the way of life and co-operation. It is agreed that civilisation have tried its own might to unite the human race but yet there exist differences and limitations.

The aim of this thread is to find out if the entire world can resolve into using one currency with the diversity in lifelyhood we face as humans. Can the world ever come to such compromise if they had the opportunity to?
Not unless there will be one single alliance / government to rule us all. Personally i would see one true currency it causing more problems then current system. I am not sure how we would control it, or more likely who would control it. Right now countries use their own money to manage crisis situations. And inflation is a good buffer for it. But when leaders of these countries couldn't control the supply, that stabilization method wouldn't be optional. And that's just a one problem.
2313  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 21, 2023, 08:43:58 PM
I iam hoping for 20k as i think we need way more time to accumulate if we really want to moon, and if we hit 30k well get past it imho. And as we this is most likely going to be a bouncy launch anyway and i would rather see that volatility happening near 20k then in 50k as dropping from higher would be horrific for some alts
2314  Economy / Economics / Re: The Rise of GPT AI. Crypto is at risk? on: February 21, 2023, 08:32:47 PM
Over the recent years, technology has improved leaps and bounds, and one notable development is the rise of GPT AI, an artificial intelligence that allows machine to interact with humans in a more natural and conversational way. We cannot ignore the fact that it lessens the amount of work needed in some areas in our economy and society, thanks to the advancements of machine learning, natural language processing and deep learning, as a result GPT AI has become a powerful tool for businesses. Although we could say it gives us benefit, we can't still be so sure with the risks involved that maybe can outweighed or may potentially ruin the economy.

"GPT AI has also been used to develop trading bots that can automatically execute trades based on pre-programmed rules and conditions. These bots can monitor the market 24/7 and make trades based on real-time data, which can lead to more profitable trades and reduced risk."

Based on that statement alone, we can conclude that there will be potential risks such as trading bots that could manipulate the market which could lead to significant losses.
How about you, what are your thoughts regarding this one?

I am not getting your point. We can already manipulate markets, could have for a long time even with bots. And can you give me one example how AI ruins economy? Do you mean it will steal our jobs? Doesn't it just mean that people move to do other jobs like with every invention out there. Years ago we wouldn't have even dream that youtube influencers would be a job genre. There will be many other we didn't think was an option.

This is my User ID: up150905957
I just need to know how much longer should I wait?
Also please let me know why it has to take so long?
What kind of decision making takes 2 months?
Even the most complicated political matters don't take that long to resolve.
If you don't mind could either of you also inform us when the issue gets resolved because i am assuming it didn't get resolved. I don't have currently any money in CEX.io but i have an account in there and depending on the time this gets resolved affects if i want to use their service in the future.
2316  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 21, 2023, 06:35:39 PM
In your twitter it says that you are airdropiing 10 x 10,000 $BTNTY tokens. So are you choosing 10 users randomly to drop those or is it 10 different airdrops?
In order to qualify for airdrop, as stated in the tweet, you need to fulfill at least one of the five conditions, where each entitles you to conditionally 1 ticket in a draw where 10 users will receive 10,000 BTNTY tokens, but since there are not so many participants, there are chances.
Wait i can participate just with one ticket after fulfilling one condition? That doesn't seem like a fair game. Let's see those conditions:

Quote
👉1. Sign up on https://bitnity.com
So i have already participated to raffle with one ticket after i joined? I don't have to stake or anything? Great.

Quote
👉2. Retweet this post
And is it ok if i shall use 50 different alt twitter accounts and retweet from those. I wouldn't even need a Bitnity account or anything else to participate. I am assuming it is ok as how could you possibly prove that i was cheating. And after i win i just provide my eth address(es)?

Quote
👉3. Join our Discord
I am assuming this is optional

Quote
👉4. Deposit and Stake $BTNTY
👉5. Contribute to the ETH Bankroll
I am not sure if these are worth it if tweeting from 2 different alt accounts are worth same amount of tickets.

So is there Is there any way to check how many has participated to calculate odds for winning?
I tried to search with #betfury_cryptoquiz in twitter but didn't even see my own tweet so i guess there are many others not showing in the feed and i can't calculate from those.
2318  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 21, 2023, 05:34:34 PM
I think that Russian propaganda is crafted to hone in on and take advantage of people this insulated from reality. People so broken they would side with obvious evil because it somehow makes them feel more powerful, which is more important to them than empathizing with those suffering the consequences of Putin's actions.
Sure, feeding delusions of broken and deranged people is a good tactical move from Russia, (evil but effective) as broken people without purpose in life are particularly receptive for reflexive control tactic.

They keep believing that if they could criticize Russia as well they are independent like some people in this thread. That suits Russia very well as it makes the trolls more authentic.
And trolls keep thinking they are thinking they are finding the "truth" by themselves while they are fed by russian troll factories mixed with total lunacy.

They are totally ignoring opinions from experts and cherry pick truths that fit their narrative. Truths that are simple and exciting enough for their brains. They are not interested of any boring or complicated truths as their lives are often boring and insignificant enough and they won't find meaning or their place from the truth so they won't accept it.

Russian goal is to slowly break and weaken the enemy from inside by creating as much doubt confusion and chaos as possible while weakening ties of allies of the target countries. This leaves them isolated and open for attack.

What Russia for some reason didn't calculate was the fact that unfriendly countries are now more unified then ever because of the attack. That might be because Putin surrounded himself with yes men and didn't have a full picture. Either that or he is just that stupid.

Has anyone noticed regarding the latest update from betfury, that the free btc box will only be available for level 2 accounts and is valid from 27th February, it seems that many are abusing the faucet from betfury so betfury needs to update

Well that could explain my rate limited login problems as well as they are fighting against abusers and bot armies.
But i didn't have a clue that their faucet boxes were open to lvl 1 newbs before?! I wonder why they get those open for everyone. Only people who don't have enough money to spend and bot armies abusing the system will use those and neither one of them are good for business.
2320  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIDEO: Thousands killed in Turkey, Syria following massive quake that struck... on: February 20, 2023, 11:40:46 PM
Ok, i see that fundamental christians have moved from "earthquakes happens because of gays" to conspiratards saying that earthquakes happens because of magic earthquake machines. Anything but reality because reality is not in control and boring i guess.

Why is it that conspiratards always want to be in centre of every plot? Do they feel more important that way and get meaning to their lives? No need for difficult scientific approach when you can invent your own truth that's more interesting, easier to understand and gives your life more purpose and meaning.
