2301  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin threatened by digital dollars? on: January 27, 2023, 02:15:54 AM
I dont think bitcoin is threatened by digital dollars or other CBDCs in my opinion it can bring more people who curious to crypto. maybe the right term is US dollar is threatened by bitcoin that is why government created CBDCs so they can control more about their dollar
2302  Economy / Economics / Re: A beautiful place assures excellence in business and personal life. on: January 27, 2023, 02:03:08 AM
but A beautiful place is different from one person to another right, some people will like city concrete like new york but sometimes people like scenery or quiet place like in the middle of jungle

but personally i like a not to crowded space and living in small city
2303  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 27, 2023, 01:37:37 AM
the main difference is your money in fiat form will decrease in value take look this image the US Dollar lost its value in the early 1900 till this date

2305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price continue to increase? on: January 26, 2023, 02:12:08 AM

No one has a crystal ball to predict what happens in the near or distant future, though the latter is considerably easier to attempt to predict.

Indeed  Grin I mean if i have one i will play futures all in with leverage x150  Grin Grin Grin

Since this speculation i don't think bitcoin gonna reach new ATH this year bitcoin is oversold for couple of week so price is up is normal.

but enjoy take profit if you want too and maybe altcoin will start to rise this august
2306  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: what I understand about bitcoin mining as a newbie on: January 26, 2023, 02:00:02 AM

2307  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: [FUN]Heatbit Is the First Space Heater That Mines Bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 01:11:52 AM

2308  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 26, 2023, 12:42:29 AM
The people who love volatility are the people who benefit from it, people only get angry and complain about it when they loose to the volatility. Why the hurry to end Volatility?

The OP seems to ask how to end volatility. But like I have said before, volatility is good if you are a trader but if you are a long-term holder forget the noise of volatility in the short-term and keep HODLING right?? at the end of the day bitcoin still prove itself with the ATH every 4 year Cheesy

don't like volatility just use stablecoin  Cheesy
2309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 26, 2023, 12:36:14 AM
They can't control bitcoin and of course they scare if crypto gonna disrupt their financial system. But after we see el Salvador we pretty much see if the bitcoin can work with our fiat right. I would prefer country that have tax over crypto than banning it
2310  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 25, 2023, 02:56:50 AM
volatility is two sides of blades in my opinion, some people hated it but some people love it. like gold i think volatility of bitcoin will not gonna end unless there is some entity that control all centralized exchange and put limit on bitcoin price but i think is impossible for now

but for now enjoy the volatility buy low sell high on the same dates
2311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have gotten used to using bitcoin for payment but. .. on: January 25, 2023, 02:54:33 AM

2313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Bitcoin Lightning payments will soon be possible on: January 25, 2023, 02:33:11 AM
I'm not an expert in Bitcoin lightning but correct me if I am wrong - Basically, this send bitcoin via lightning without internet connection and will be processed while there is a connection available what if the sender decides not to connect to internet is receiver still get the bitcoin that spendable.

I know offline payment by using paper wallet or opendime but if this this flawless it would be great  Grin

2314  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today my client became the largest Bitcoin ATM company in the world! on: January 25, 2023, 02:15:25 AM
Genesis coin is your client  Shocked Shocked Shocked that is crazy Cheesy

anyway if bitcoin get regulated what happens with all of them (if the regulators have tight rule on bitcoin)  Cry did put atm need a license to build.
but it always good to see news that made crypto more easier to reach by people
2315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which company will be next to accept Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2023, 02:06:50 AM
I would be more than happy to just see my local grocery supermarket accept crypto for a start instead of dreaming about some big name accepting crypto.

While it is a wet dream of many bitcoin users to see big e-commerce giants to start taking bitcoin, I am still waiting on that.

Ar present I can buy giftcards from bitrefill and pay for buying stuff with that but I would go with a more streamlined approach. Let's remain more  "down to earth walking on our feet" than go long shot on pipe dreams.

Yes rather than big dream that not comes true for now, I prefer the small things to happen first including local groceries and some food trucks accepting crypto.

anyway we already make a huge progress from crypto in some country it become legal tender, in the other already accept crypto as an asset or commodity.
and big company start to apply it like Paypal did.
2316  Economy / Services / Re: Betnomi.com | Signature Campaign | Up to 0.0025 BTC/W on: January 24, 2023, 01:31:07 AM
By the way, why does yours look different from mine?

it because icopress uses Senior Member code which is why it looks different

2317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First thing i will do if Bitcoin become legal tender globally on: January 24, 2023, 01:23:17 AM
if become global legal tender i will open up service like p2p crypto to fiat, the most hit if bitcoin become legal tender is export and import and global market financial system since they usually do transaction by using US dollar but now they using bitcoin cut a dozen of lot of fee. and transaction across border become easy
2318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi among us - for those of you not aware of his (/her) legacy in this forum on: January 24, 2023, 01:19:32 AM

2319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin have value? on: January 24, 2023, 12:59:37 AM
there is a bunch of answers and all of it is a true but the simple term for me why bitcoin has value because its supply and demand just like the movie of wolf of wallstreet. people believe too bitcoin and demand increase and supply has only 21 million btc
2320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks on: January 24, 2023, 12:53:01 AM
in my opinion, crypto will not replace traditional bank crypto and traditional bank keep involving I know there are some things that are better decentralized but there is also a bunch of benefit in centralization, according https://cointelegraph.com/news/world-population-reaches-8-billion-but-how-many-are-in-crypto that crypto user is only 4,2% worldwide which mean is pretty small to replace any traditional financial system.

I just hope traditional financial system work alongside with crypto
