So, you sit 10 minutes to write a quality post and some mod with a bad day wipes it for no obvious reason.

Whats has this forum become, sad ...

Possible reasons for deleting a post...

A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted.

Make sure it was not off-topic. If you do not find any other reasons then why not just write the mod of the board for an answer. May be it's a mistake.

Once I had this confusion and I asked the mod. The reply of the mod was satisfactory for me. My suggestion is, do the same instead of getting hyped here.

PS: Welcome to the BitcoinTalk.org forum. I wish you have a happy journey in here.
2342  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for ICO experts to review and market project on: June 01, 2018, 09:43:04 AM
We are planning to issue an ICO and need experts to review certain aspects of the idea before we go too far. What we need to know is:

1. Does the business model make sense?
2. Does the project meet credibility test?
3. What kind of investors would be interested in investing in such a project?

Also looking for a fundraising/IR consultant, and Marketing/PR services.

Drop your rate - hourly or per service in fiat or crypto. Also share your contact and links to previous work/projects.

Thanks
I do not see any information about your project. How would anyone will give you an answer for your query if they do not know the product? Feel free to share the project information. May be at least the web link if you have...
2343  Economy / Gambling / Re: Yolodice new investment coin [POLL] on: June 01, 2018, 09:38:45 AM
LTC was mined. It didn't have an ICO.
Fair enough. I did not have the knowledge. Thanks.
If there is a situation that I have to pick one then my vote will be for ETH because I understand it better than LTC.

just suggestions, give a little space for newcomers, by giving suggestions or rewards as encouragement to make better posts. together we can advance the world of cryptocurrency. good advice from seniors will spur creativity in quality posts. Wink

Have you even cared to see some of the posts where you will find numbers backing up the statements?

Mate, I was genuinely eager to read the post in the Ivory Tower thread after it popped up on my watchlist just there. Imagine my disappointment.

It's disappointing in general that you would put so much time, effort and money in to providing a project such as this, and newbies would still rather just shitpost and create the nth hundred thread complaining about the merit system.

Unfortunately I don't have any bright ideas on how to change this pattern.
Give these people some useless tokens they will start spamming on the FtT project LOL
We humans are actually too much attracted to financial gains.
No one cares about personal development.
2346  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my Bitcointalk account deleted! on: June 01, 2018, 09:06:25 AM
Duplication of content is unavoidable on such a large forum
Yeah, like you have few duplicated copies of yourself around the world. I find these kind of excuses are too cheesy to accept. You account got blocked/banned/deleted (whatever) for a good reason, no doubt.
2347  Other / Meta / Re: Celebrating my 0 to 100+ merits and demonstrations of impact on: June 01, 2018, 08:56:48 AM
Congratulations. Nice list and effort. Copper member included?
I am not focusing on membership, I am focusing on initial merit airdrop to next decent regular ranking up. Like:
0 to 100 and plus
10 to 100 and plus etc.

I bet many members who rank before merit introduced will have no specialty
I am much focused on the events that are happening after the merit system has been introduced.
2348  Other / Meta / Re: Demand for sig managers on: June 01, 2018, 08:18:17 AM
How is this list going to be compiled or ordered? What is the criteria for being on it? Do you have to be trusted or have previously ran campaigns? Are you going to list anyone who wants to be a manager? If not, how do new users get on it? Are you going to list managers like sylon who's campaigns are continually abused by farmers and bots and he pays anyone to make any old crap including the 200 Russian farmers who regurgitate the same nonsense on each of their accounts?
You're making it a tad difficult for mister pug, I like it.  Tongue
Let's hope pugman has the best idea and s/he will come out with a list which will impress the most (knowing no one can satisfy everyone). I like this dissection too from hilariousetc  Tongue

Should have posted this part as well...
I spent last 15 minutes from my life to understand how this game works but could not figure it out LOL
What fun do you get playing these slots? I am just curious. I used to play roulette, a brainless game but it was addictive. I am a big fan of sports betting by the way.

Sorry OP couldn't be a help for you.
2350  Other / Meta / Re: Can't we make a dedicated space to sig campaigns on: May 31, 2018, 09:45:40 PM
There is Serious Discussion and Ivory Tower for non-spammy discussion. If you want to have a discussion in someother board, make the thread self-moderated and delete the unwanted posts. Smiley
I find Ivory Tower is free from all disturbance. The reason is, only a certain level of members only can hangout there. My understanding is, once a member reaches to Full member then s/he (not all case) has much knowledge and experience about the environment. I have seen spammy posts in the Serious Discussion quite often.
2351  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have I lost my EOS? on: May 31, 2018, 08:58:56 PM
What I am understanding is  - you sent EOS to your MEW from Kraken. You thought you do not have enough gas in your MEW so you sent 50$ worth of ETH to your MEW. Is that correct?

So I send about 50 bucks worth of ETH to MEW,
Why do you need ETH is your MEW. What I understand is you are trying to withdraw your EOS to your My Ether Wallet. Right?
The receiver wallet do not need any ETH to cover the gas cost.

Now I'm all confused about this whole gas thing, I'm trying to learn about it but it honestly is going over my head.
To understand gas ans stuff. consider exploring this: https://ethgasstation.info/index.php

PS: May be you are too much excited. Wait until all these pending transactions drops then try again. Try after few hours.
2352  Other / Meta / Re: Posting broken? on: May 31, 2018, 08:06:08 PM
Check the browser for add-ons as auto refresher that automatically refresh the page after a given time. If it's not your computer, it can have a lot of shit on it.
Try with another browser too, to identify the problem.
Finally something satisfactory. I was not aware of this kind of auto refreshers. Why do anyone even need an auto refresher at the first place?

update:
I needed to be logged in a page for some reason...

Ahhh... a possible use-case Grin
Did not want to create another post to ruin my 1000 posts celebration this fast LOL

check these
Top merited recent replies how the merit system get abused by [ANN] threads (not the thread actually but the members) by giving huge amount of merits for some shitposting which should have given to where it actually worth.

You will find a long list which seems abusing the system but lately I came to this understanding...

Every system has a System Loss and so does the merit system as well. It is absolutely okay IMO. Good thing is - merit is doing exactly that it wanted to do. People are spending much time in reading and thinking more than once before making a post.

Celebrate the good outcomes and avoid the losses.
2354  Economy / Services / Re: Rent my signature space: Posting habit is high (Minimum 50+ a week) on: May 31, 2018, 06:23:39 PM
how much traffic do you get with your signature a week?
I never measured it. Looking at my posting habits, it will be much better than the average posters. Feel free to review my post history page. This will give you a good idea about my daily or weekly posting habits. Spending time on this forum is a fun for me.

I offer you 0.01 ETH per week.

The one I am wearing now is going to pay 0.00015 BTC/Post for maximum 40 posts with 10% bonus for 50% of my posts.

Means if I get accepted, then I am looking at 20 posts at 0.00015 BTC rate and more 20 posts at 0.000165 BTC rate. In total I am looking at 0.003 + 0.0033 = 0.0063BTC max a week as a Full Member.

Last time when I was a Member then I was with a signature campaign that paid me 0.002BTC per week. Remember my rank is now Full Member.

Hope you understand that your offer is not much for me. Sorry, I can not accept it however thanks for showing your interest.

2355  Other / Meta / Re: Releasing of rank in yearly on: May 31, 2018, 05:54:48 PM
The Merit system is broken, very few people actually send merit to valuable posts, the vast majority of it gets circulated between old timers who know eachother personally on

the forum, and it doesn't help that most of these guys are on the Bitcoin related forums;

so while altcoin proponents now probably outnumber the Bitcoin maximalists, the merit distribution is disproportionately in favor of Bitcoin sympathizers...
You are wrong, perhaps looking on some data will change your mind. Merit is doing it's job just fine regardless a minor number of abusive members using it for their own interest. Every system has a System Loss which is completely ok.

2357  Economy / Gambling / Re: Yolodice new investment coin [POLL] on: May 31, 2018, 05:13:36 PM
do you think ethereum can give you more profit than litecoin if you hold it for long run, not trying to manipulate you all in the end it's your decision but think about it
No one knows which coin will bring more profit in future. ETH ICO price was $0.311, not sure how much was the LTC ICO price but I am pretty sure it was not much comparing to the current price. Ethereum is coming up with updates, same with LTC. May be I am not a forecaster so all things are a bit blurry here for me but one thing is sure for me: Both coins have good potential in the long run but I will take the side of Ethereum.

Good work mate. It's gonna be fun.
* which country / continent are you from?
127.0.0.1 (localhost), I have no county, no race. The am belongs to the earth.
* how and when did you hear the first time about cryptocurrencies?
One of my mad friend yelled about Bitcoin when he lost money in Binary Trading. It was like, "I better buy some Bitcoin". Since he is a mad one, no one never took it seriously. The year is may be 2011/12. I can not recall the exact year.
* what are your hopes to get into this market?
Cryptocurrency Market? Well I am not a fan of centralized corporation. They are dividing the whole world, media is their slave and they are manipulating the citizens. Banking is needed but we do not need a bank.
* which cryptocurrencies are your favourites?
Obviously Bitcoin, then ETH. There are few more though.
* are there any cryptocurrencies you don’t like?
Not any specific one. I hate it when people say Ripple is a cryptocurrency. Ripple is a shame for the entire crypto space.
* tell us your risk-taking propensity
I can risk everything in something I believe in. I have done it a lot in past. I failed in the most but I had enough success as well.
* why Bitcointalk? There are some other forums
I like the tendency of proving myself in anything. I may not stick to BitcoinTalk if there were no merit system. I am member with few other forums but not much active in those. I figured, I do not find much motivation over there.
