2341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: August 04, 2017, 02:27:46 PM
As many suggested above , and at the same time it is very popular saying "don't put all your eggs in one basket".So I never invest all my funds in just bitcoins. To be precise we should not keep all our investments in any one single source of returns.

In spite of this fact we may consider this fact of keeping all our investments only in Bitcoins, because now bitcoin became way of life, it's not just a source of getting returns. So conclusion is take your own risk before making any decision.  Also keep in mind that, never put your daily spending's in any investments.
Just like in trading , practically you shouldn't put the buy position with your whole bankroll.
As you need to have a proper proccess , i mean buying in step by step .
You know why? It is because noone knows that the worst situation such as a freefall price could hit the market and you automaticallly of course.

That's true and that's what I experienced after putting all my "bitcoins" in a website for BCH but didn't get anything. I know the situation here we are talking about is a bit different from what I suffered but it's nearly the same when I traded my coins too for BCH. I sent my Bitcoins yesterday to bittrex finally after deciding to do so checking everything to be safe, but when I bought BCH at such a high price of BTC0.21, I saw it declining from there and everyone is still dumping it hard. You should learn from this and should know that getting all in into one thing could lead you nowhere but a potential loss which could be extremely disastrous.
2342  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 04, 2017, 12:49:39 PM
OP, it's not good to go all in on bitcoin because as such split happened you cannot leave everything over time and sit back and wait because circumstances like this and many may take place amidst and spoil everything for you. Changing your investments and switching them over time is the best way to be safe all time, this is my personal experience after this BCH shit.
2343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think the total market cap will be by the end of 2018 ??? on: August 03, 2017, 03:21:42 PM
In what ways is 1 Trillion even closer to what you have thought of?
Any special reasons for that or just taking a guess out of nothing or BCash is your base for saying that?
BCash value is extremely high and is currently being served only as a pump and dump coin, after all this shit settles it would get us nowhere but 200-210 Billion max if Bitcoin continues its rally and makes a new high above $5k.
2344  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 03, 2017, 03:08:48 PM
I was lost right HERE >2. Create a totally new logical wallet with a new mnemonic, etc. Just creating new addresses is not sufficient: the new wallet needs to be completely separate from the old one. The new wallet's private keys should be under your personal control just in case your transaction is replayed or something else goes wrong. Make sure you have backups of the new wallet.
Is this a new BTC wallet or new BCH wallet?HuhHuhHuh
Then> 3. Send all of the BTC in your old wallet to your new wallet
Is that new BTC wallet or New BCH

That was said for the BTC wallet itself. According to A. Chow's theory, if you send your BTC to a BCH wallet, you will not receive any BCH but if you import that key in your wallet, you or someone you sent your coins to, will see that BTC amount in your/their wallet.
2345  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 03, 2017, 02:56:25 PM
Can someone help me out with something?
I had my bitcoins at a site before and I waited for BCash to come into existence after which I was planning to redeem my Bitcoins to my wallet which I did.
How may I now claim BCash? Am I eligible to get them or was it a perk for those who had their bitcoins at exchanges already?
2346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CASH — What's your stand? on: August 02, 2017, 08:19:43 AM
We believe it should never even exist. Hating all this melodrama that happened just due to the miners who were still unable to keep their words of a hard fork and just had a currency split here to satisfy their own ego. Seems none other than ViaBTC is currently interested in mining BCC but nobody knows about the future and I am waiting hard to see their promised 8 MB block they said that their clients will be performing such.
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When safe transaction using BTC ready? on: August 02, 2017, 07:55:02 AM
As the news states clearly that everything is now all clear having the split already done and block already mined for BCC (BCH), you can safely do your transactions without being scared as the situation seems under control atm because mining is being done for both the coins as well as none has been declared a major one yet, but BTC is still holding its parity towards the price it had before and successfully gaining more instead of a decline which Bitcoin ABC developers and miners expected.
2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 02, 2017, 07:36:14 AM
Bitcoin Cash market @ 7.2Bil! unbelievable!!!
Bittrex is the leading exchange!!!50% trading!

Nice move by Bittrex to add it. Poloniex is the loser here

Poloniex/Coinbase and other exchanges basically do not credit for their clients! Go Bittrex!
But did not expect Bittrex to start trading bcc so early though.
I am jus wandering if BTC withdraws are still frozen on Bittrex?

not sure, but you can change it to eth/lite coin or alt, transfer to ur desire exchange, then change it back to btc.
Sure... But still  you can not withdraw BTC right ?
Thanks for information....

It is now possible to withdraw your BTC from there as they have started allowing it since past 2-3 hours, remember BTC and not BCC yet.

Whattomine call it BCH
coinmarket call it BCC

still they are not agreeing???

Is it bcc or bch??

It was already clarified before that Bitcoin cash will be called either BCC or BCH and it will be on an exchange-by-exchange basis.

To everyone,
Do you really think that BCC miners will be able to mine at a 100% 8 mb block size? I have not seen any blocks coming from them with such huge size yet and the blocks which got mined took a time gap of nearly 2-3 hours per block.

2353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So is Monero the best anon Coin ? on: July 25, 2017, 09:13:02 PM
The community has known this for years and cryptocurrency experts have confirmed it several times.

Monero is the best and in fact the only anonymous coin, nothing new.

You should have bought it at $0.25 but worry not, it's MASSIVELY UNDERVALUED AT $38.50.

You can safely buy.

It's true that Monero is one and only coin that maintains the privacy at its best.
As well as it is also undervalued at the moment, I think it should definitely reach $100 one day soon after everyone decides to shift their coins from ETH to XMR.
2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: July/August 2017 ICO Bounties on: July 25, 2017, 09:03:19 PM
Waste of time? Instead of even saying that, you should try and search for one yourself.
Anyways, I have found one for you to try out --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2023118.0
This link takes you to JustDatingSite's signature campaign thread which is being managed by Yahoo, one of the most trustworthy managers of the forum. You may try your luck and if approved, you should definitely be a member there as they are giving 50 tokens as a bonus for the first 20 users to register there.
2355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy new altcoins in ICO stage = profit? on: July 25, 2017, 08:56:00 PM
It isn't that easy. Before knowing what (the coin and the concept behind it) and whom (the company as well as the owners) you are investing for and doing complete research about the coin, you should never invest in an ICO. Must have seen that SkyWay scam, right? Many users thought they will get a huge share but after searching and going through SkyWay's real website and chatting with their representatives (even I did that), we all came to know that they were just trying to scam everyone. So, trusting any company blindly and putting our money there is not a good choice, but waiting till the first week starts or checking before about the coin and then investing could give serious returns over your investment if it turns out to be the one as expected.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC Gambling? on: July 25, 2017, 08:49:23 PM
Low minimum BTC Gambling sites?

They all start the minimum bet size at .001 btc or .0001 btc. Im looking for a gambling website that has the lowest bet size at .0000001 or less. Low btc minimum betting sites around?. Anyone know any?

Or low minimum (.0000001 btc or less) btc Forex that accepts USA?

So far looks like primedice the only one.

Any info? Thanks!!

It's hard for online casinos to keep up with the volatility of bitcoin in order to keep their gambling site's minimum and maximums bets stable....a min bet of 25 cents, about ~year ago, is now $2.50 today, and it goes up and down on a daily basis....keeping the limits within the ranges of the site's bankroll is serious business to a gambling operation....So, we have to be patient with them.

I don't think this should be a problem because the site is denominated in btc and not in fiat which means it does not concern them what the value of bitcon is saying on exchange sites. And if I wager 0.01btc for 1.1 then I get 0.011btc its as simple as that irrespective of the price as at that time and the same goes to those who bankroll the site.

Yes....if the site maintains a 100% liquidity in bitcoin than it may not be a problem.  But, if they don't maintain a 100% bitcoin liquidity because they've converted or hold some of their bankroll in USD, then it could be very bad if a jackpot was hit with a max bet while bitcoin's value was at a maximum, right?

Why would they convert when they are dealing in Bitcoins itself? That too knowingly when the price is getting boomed up?
I don't think so, but yeah if a JackPot is hit, they will have to pay the coins no matter what's the price of BTC is in USD.

The price of bitcoin doesn't really just go straight up.  It actually rises and falls along the way.  Many casinos operate under some money management criteria that doesn't require a 100% specific currency liquidity....they keep a certain percentage of their bankroll liquid and let their money management criteria cover the rest according to the math....kinda of like the federal reserve.

You are correct and I am not denying it, but casinos that operate under BTC will also not sell straight and wait for the right time to sell. The reason why these "upcoming" casinos are trying to find investors is this only, that they just cannot really afford to purchase BTC at huge prices and that's why they just come up with the idea and get investors involved in their programs to get dividends, where they still don't have any losses if their management is all fine, whether fiat or btc.
2357  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Where to park my Bitcoin before 1. August possible hardfork?" (Total Newb) on: July 25, 2017, 08:42:28 PM
You really should have ordered a Trezor when there was still time for it to arrive before August 1. Too late now.

Is a Trezor really needed here? For some, it may be somewhat expensive which is why they might not have gone for it.
They can still save their coins offline if they want to and save themselves from the dilemma that is being created by miners.
2358  Economy / Speculation / Re: The last squeeze... on: July 25, 2017, 08:32:17 PM
The big whales are giving it easily in the hands of bigger sharks who are getting ready with their missiles to attack with a hard pump once August 1 locks in.
This dip could be harder than ever and could even lead btc to 1400 or a bit more lower but not less than 1000 because it has got such a base which will not let it dump below that level.
2359  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10th August - Price Prediction? on: July 25, 2017, 08:25:09 PM
If a chain split doesn't take place and we don't see any shitcoin (BCC) emerging ahead, then we are definitely going to cross par 5k this year and it will be signaled with a price hike by taking bitcoins straight away towards 3500-4k range because buyers will be more than serious about this after the scaling problems get a solution somewhere.
2360  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we see $50 ? on: July 25, 2017, 08:21:50 PM
Kidding? Or thinking to start up with a dream?
You want to see $50, right?
Just buy a time-machine and go 6 years back and then purchase and wait till 2k17 again, you may even see a cent at that time if you could travel. /sarcasm
Seriously it's impossible for Bitcoins to even doom down below 1k this time.
