I cant wait to see Antminer U3 support

 Grin

I'll be very curious to compare with how my U3s run with bfgminer since it uses a different driver than cgminer, and there are no shortage of problems with the U3... more options to play with are always welcomed!

There's now an Acclaim page under the pool menu showing the block finders Smiley

Fun feature, thanks for adding it!
2344  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2600 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 07, 2015, 03:23:08 PM
Did a ckdb restart earlier, and a pool restart just now (with minimal if no failover for the miners) ... just for lack of luck Smiley

I got a fake Block Found notice, it almost worked... Wink
2345  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Spiceminer's Ant Viewer - Online monitoring stats! alerts - Antminer monitoring! on: May 07, 2015, 07:15:16 AM
fixed bug having to do with showing fan(s) speed

DOWNLOAD: SAntViewer.zip v1.1.14

Is this software still current/supported?

Installed the last published version, talks to my S3+ just fine but reports my S1 as 'Dead'; probably because I've updated its cgminer to 4.9.1a.

You could give a try to Minera if you need to monitor your Antminer, version 0.5.0 now supports them:

I've since found and use cryptoGlance, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=569924.0, works great. Smiley
2346  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer Comparison S1,2,3,4,5 on: May 07, 2015, 07:03:14 AM
S3 is hard to beat on used market.  For a lot of "low priced" and "free" electricity it's the way to go.

Also the S3 is built like a tank.

I just wished it would hash at as solid a rate as the S1. Over several days running my S1 is always within +/- 0.1 gh/s average speed, my S3+ is +/- 20 gh/s average.
2347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which city do you think can be the global bitcoin hub in the future? on: May 07, 2015, 06:53:20 AM
Bitcoin it about decentralizing, a central hub is the exact opposite.

The capacity cliff

And why we can’t use fancy tricks to avoid it

Quote
This article analyses some proposed alternatives to raising Bitcoin’s network capacity, specifically, the Lightning network. But the arguments made are general and could apply to other proposed alternatives too.

2349  Economy / Services / Re: [CAMPAIGN FULL] Rollin.io Twitter Campaign - Earn Up To .02 BTC Weekly on: May 07, 2015, 04:51:44 AM
Alrighty folks -

The Twitter campaign for May is filled up. The spreadsheet has been updated and the link
is in the OP. Please verify that your BTC address is correct BEFORE the first payout on
Monday.

To those who did not get in - check back every now and then. Every so often, someone
drops out or does not make the minimum # of tweets 2 weeks in a row and vacancies
open up.

Looks good, thanks!  Sure filled up quick this time, much faster than last month.
2350  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2600 TH] CKPool (kano.is) from the cgminer devs [0.9% PPLNS] on: May 07, 2015, 04:48:50 AM
your payouts should go up
Just turned all 12ths of my miners OFF. In the last month I spent 300.00 usd more in power than what I made in BTC.

Good luck to all and hope to join in again soon.

Sorry to hear that you are all out, but thanks for the ants. They have a good home Smiley

I'm happy your doing well with the ants. I have some s3s and s2s if anyone is interested.

With the power costs, heat and low BTC price I can just buy BTC now with what would spend on electric  .115 c pkwh

I'm very sad. Sad Sad Sad     I like KANO'S pool and mining BTC.  I was the 1st one who signed up for his pool.
Let's hope BTC goes up soon.

after thinking about this.....................

I just started the Avalon that was won from KANO,  on eco mode. I'm very thankful for wining the miner and thought I should keep it running on KANO'S pool.

It found 1 block for the pool. I hope it finds another.

That's very fitting, thanks for keeping it pointed here. Smiley
2351  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Question Re: Block Size and Time on: May 06, 2015, 11:46:43 PM
There are a myriad of alt coins with varying lengths of time to solve blocks.  Bitcoin's time is 10 minutes, it's part of its backbone coding, it's not going to change.

I also noticed my last few payments were lower than previous, with no change to my hash power pointed at this pool.

I started giving my rental workers unique names today so I can track their individual progress. Is there any way to consolidate all of these worker stats onto one web page? Apologies if this has been answered already in the past.

examples:

http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp.spt675
http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp.phoenix
http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp.s5x15
http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp.fossp30

If they all mine to the same address, view by address: http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1LjZmRdMV7Mk88bx7oMMWgKWaFF8yG1qtp
Code:
{"hashrate1m": "213T", "hashrate5m": "210T", "hashrate1hr": "198T", "hashrate1d": "158T", "hashrate7d": "174T", "lastupdate": 1430945928, "workers": 242, "bestshare": 30951432214.535023}
Nice best share!

Thanks, still chasing..What I'm looking for is a way to put multiple workers into a table on a single webpage, instead of having to open a bunch of tabs on my browser and refresh them individually.

Group your miners by btc address.  If you only want to see those 4, have those 4 mine to their own address.  Use Firefox add-on ReloadEvery to reload your tab for you every minute.

It's been running flawlessly for days now, no indication of the error happening again.  Might have been a one time, well two time, thing...
2358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the NSA already broken bitcoin? on: May 06, 2015, 06:29:38 AM
Believe me, if there were a revolution in USA right now and people were organizing and communicating via SHA256 encoded text, suddenly SHA256 would "get cracked".

SHA256-encoded text? I didn't know hashes could be used for encoding.

It's not a literal example, you get the point.
2359  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Question Re: Block Size and Time on: May 06, 2015, 06:26:33 AM
You said, "... they are attempting to make transactions faster..", so no, it is not literally what you said.  There is no attempt being made here to speed up transactions, that will always be every 10 minutes +/-.
