I'm having issue(s) connecting to the BitStamp API once again :/

it is seemingly detecting the chili however I'm unable to see the individual chips under the [M]anage Devices section. This is due to Chili being based on a very old protocol. The error message that I keep receiving from the BFL 1 (chili) device is 'Failed to send queue, and queue empty; retrying after 1 second" This is due to bugs in the Chili firmware. I think they plan to release a fix at some point. BFGMiner 3.5 has a workaround for it, but it needs to use more USB bandwidth than normal. Do you have a link handy? I'm only seeing version 3.4 Sorry, typo. I meant 3.4. Ok, installed 3.4 and it's apparently seeing the device but now declaring it sick. Debug output shows its stuck doing the following: Re-initialize Attempting to restart Idle for more than 60 seconds, declaring SICK! If you can provide any suggestions they would be much appreciated. Not particularly concerned about how high USB requirements are.

Hey Luke-jr,
So I finally got my twin turbo ii mounted on my first of two chilis. However, when I execute an instance of bfgminer it properly brings up my Icarus Block Eruptor, as well as the single BFL jally that I have connected, it is seemingly detecting the chili however I'm unable to see the individual chips under the [M]anage Devices section. The error message that I keep receiving from the BFL 1 (chili) device is 'Failed to send queue, and queue empty; retrying after 1 second"
Any idea what might be causing this?
*Note: I am currently testing out version 3.4.0 (x86)

Ok...so I'm still concerned about the Gold and Platinum servers being hosted in the states but I am willing to give the silver package a go. However, the last point you raise regarding the frequency of API changes at the exchange level and the need for constant updates obviously raises a concern for me with the Silver package. Does the silver package include some sort of auto-updating mechanism or is this something I will have to do manually?

I can't get the Bitstamp API connection working. login = your client id right? Yes I activated the API on my account.
Lol, been living under a rock today? The Bitstamp API has been acting up all day! Hey fellas, I'm not entirely sure that my BitStamp settings for my simple trade bot are working properly but instead of entering my client ID and password under login I tried plugging in my Public and Private API keys instead in SimpleTrade bot and that seems to have worked. (again, it hasn't executed an actual trade so I can't be sure)

1.) If I got with one of the hosted options, are your servers located anywhere within the united states? 2.) If Either of the hosted packages is purchased, do I still receive an actual copy of the automated trade bot itself on cd-rom as well (I don't want to pay ~$250 for a hosted product and have you guys go tits up with me holding the login cred's to a disabled VPS somewhere). 3.) Does btcrobot currently only support BTC/USD holdings or are other coin permutations possible (i.e. BTC/PPC, BTC/FTC, etc.)? If not currently implemented any plans on doing so anytime soon? 4.) Any estimated timeline for implementation of BitInstant support? 1. Yes in USA 2. If you order golden/platinum there is nothing to download. We simply preinstall everything for you! Our vps are fully secure, don't worry. They are not hosted on same sever as sales site. We dont do any CD in any versions. 3. Currently portfolio of USD + BTC only, no other currencies at this time. But we are looking into LTC in future 4. We already implemented Bitinstant price monitoring into the robot. The robot is now monitoring 3 major btc marketplaced to perform smarter decisions. This will ensure it's profitability no matter if the price is going up or down. The deposits are made into btc-e.com green chart Thanks for the prompt response Eurobitcoin. As for your responses to my questions: 1.) This bums me out...my concern wasn't so much from the point of a security standpoint although I'm glad to hear you think your servers are secure. Basically, my worry would be that I shell this money out, don't receive an actual copy of anything, and given that your servers physically reside in the states, should they decide your not complying with one thing or another it's basically game over unless your program can function in completely standalone mode without needing to tie into some sort of US-only based set of servers? Have you guys given any consideration to diversifying geographically or is this not even a concern for you guys at this point? 2.) The fact that your hosted servers reside within the states only makes this works for me at the moment. Hopefully the US will adopt a more bitcoin favorable position in the near future but I'm not seeing it at the moment. *I also got the impression from your website that the software came with a complete set of "Exclusive Members Only" manuals and cd's containing the software...might wanna change that if this isn't the case :p **I haven't completely decided against trying your bot out, but the answer to question #1 will certainly prevent me from considering either the Gold or Platinum options at this point :/

Considering trying this platform out. I just have a couple of questions:

My bots all stopped getting data from BitStamp @ 0700 this morning (running on multiple machines, so each exchange has tuned settings).
Anybody else seeing this?
Sean, We will track this down and get back to you ASAP, it may have to do with some back end work we are doing. Please drop me a message if you don't hear from me by tomorrow AM. Pablo. My BitStamp has apparently come back online...thank you sir!! *Haven't really seen any sort of profitability from my limited use of the trial. Any plans on supporting other currencies as well as adding additional exchanges (mcxnow of particular interest to me atm)?

Update: You can use a visa debit card to validate yourself to level 3 and obtain instant purchases again. Been using them for 6+ months. I was fully verified until they changed policy a few weeks back.
Overall I really like what they are doing and will continue to be a loyal customer for the foreseeable future.
FYI, They only take visa credit cards for verification.
I just tried to do this with my Fred Meyer pre-paid visa debit card but too no avail :/ I'm going to go ahead and open up a support ticket because this waiting for 3-5 days for your BTC is for the birds.

If maximum potential profitability is your aim neither of the precious metals will be able to compare with bitcoin in either the short or long terms. If however, you don't have as much confidence in BTC at this point (a mistake imho) hedging your bets between Silver and Bitcoin seems a smart play ATM. Gold likely to keep dropping I think.

My guess: ~$654
*I will be amazed if BTC is still around by the end of next year if it doesn't hit at least $654. I would be even more amazed if Gox was still around by then!

Definitely doesn't look like a bubble imho.

Just managed to get version 0.9.0 installed and finally managed to get my keys setup. The layout seems a bit less cluttered. Interesting in checking out this benchmarking function as well.
FYI: one little thing that I've found so far, right after initial installation, even after setting up API keys properly for whatever exchanges your wanting to trade on, it apparently doesn't update the [Exchange Website] dropdown with a list of those exchanges for which the user has entered valid api keys.
*Also, wording on Cryptsy API key portion is confusing, might I suggest you use 'Public Key' and 'Private Key' instead of login/password? This would make it more consistent with the Cryptsy login portal that some of us are all too familiar with :p

+1 I too am experiencing this exact same issue. It worked just fine yesterday and actually placed one purchase order for PPC but since then zip.

Currently testing out the trial vs. my btc-e account with default settings. My question is, should I decide to purchase the full blown product near the end of the trial-period would I simply have the option of upgrading my existing trial key?

Do we actually know what happened?
See the thread. The transaction was already in his wallet (thats what the gettransaction checks for), which wouldn't have been possible if a duplicate address had just been generated. We don't know what exactly happened but there are several other hypothesis which are more consistent with the facts than there being an actual duplicate address generated. E.g. a unclean wallet shutdown made it miss flagging that address as used, thus resulting in it handing it out again, or a mouse mis-targeting resulted in the OP generating an address but then copying another. Also, now that the newly received coin has been spent we can see that both the new instance and old instance used the same public key (03a97dfbd26061494c9369cd469f8422f7c5f16e4fd6b4da42e42138e711f7fd6f), which means that it's 256 bits involved, not just 160. (E.g. if your hypothesis was a chance collision the probability of that is now 79,228,162,514,264,337,593,543,950,336 times lower than before we knew for sure that he was using the same public keys). A collision didn't happen here, I'd stake my life on it gladly. With respect to a bad PRNG, things are possible, but the code in Bitcoin-qt has been audited by many people (including myself personally) and that seems unlikely (also, if it were to happen, considering the design I would expect consecutive duplicate addresses and not just one). If gmaxwell is willing to type something like this in the forum I'm pretty sure he feels so strongly for a reason. I'm breathing a sigh of relief that's for sure! *Have to say it was also refreshing to see how many veteran's and coredev's jumped on this immediately...gives me a great deal of confidence in bitcoin as a whole given the level of quality and attention to detail being given 24/7.

Gotta agree with this fella. Coinbase certainly reliable. I too was enjoying the level 2 verified status until they started requiring users to setup visa credit card as a backup.
