1541  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin bubble bursted, say GOODBYE to $600 on: June 24, 2014, 10:11:20 PM
If bitcoin drops below $500 I'll eat my girlfriend edible panties (assuming I can find a place online to purchase a pair with crypto)
1542  Economy / Speculation / Re: SR Auction Price Speculation/Wager - 7hrs left on: June 24, 2014, 10:09:03 PM
I'm going to guess whatever bitstamp_rate is + 8%
1543  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-05-17] Lighthouse – A Kickstarter Clone Built On Bitcoin on: June 24, 2014, 09:12:07 PM
Mr. Hearn is certainly a smart fella.  De-centralized kickstarter app sounds like the future to me.

Looking forward to checking this out when available.
1544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: June 24, 2014, 08:59:40 PM
Correct me if I'm wrong here but hasn't Germany collected less than 10 tonnes worth of the gold they requested back?  If I had to lay satoshi's my bet would be that recent increase in Gold prices at least partly linked.
1545  Economy / Speculation / Re: I predict that btc will rise to $2000 by end of March 2014 on: June 24, 2014, 08:55:28 PM
I agree with fudbuster.  I'm guessing between $1000-$1500 by the end of this year and easily $2200+ by end of first quarter next year (fingers crossed)

*prediction for this thread anyway :p
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Single Bitcoin will Worth $100K - Do You Believe it? on: June 24, 2014, 08:53:14 PM
Actually, bitcoin will never be 21 millions. Coins have been already lost and many much will be lost. People forget the private keys and good bye to the coins.
On the price target, it's pure speculation. Everything is possible.
True enough.  Thanks to ole fat ass sitting up in his penthouse behind one way glass taking dumps there are countless other coins either lost, stolen, or forgotten about.

$100,000 bitcoin, I believe if it sticks around is inevitable (if your talking USD) but not anytime soon.
1547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any news on bidders for the auctioning of seized silk road bitcoins? on: June 24, 2014, 08:47:14 PM
Anyone else surprised that they are actually auctioning these off?

I thought for sure they would just would use them for future bitcoin related sting operations.
Not too surprised.  Lord knows they could use the money! :p
1548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skyhook opensource ATM - Opinions? on: June 24, 2014, 08:42:48 PM
One thing that I would want improved on the skyhook atm, which would probably be fairly simple to do, is add Litecoin/USD exchanges too.

A multi-currency ATM I'm sure is just around the corner Wink
1549  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 14.6 BTC sell taxed on: June 24, 2014, 08:40:31 PM
I'm surprised you got anything selling on btc-plaza :p

If your in Greece my bet is your pretty much burnt.  Find another way to 'cash out'
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bikini Contest [BITKINI CONTEST] on: June 24, 2014, 08:08:44 PM
for those of you who don't know, the BitPay founders Galippi and Pair, were very involved in bikini magazines before Bitcoin and as they transitioned into BitPay.  they used to use them as click bait in the early days to bootstrap their business.  i for one was always clickin'.

this explains why their booth at conferences are surrounded by babes; they have a ready and willing population of girls who'd probably be thrilled at such a contest.
I was wondering about that.  Had a chance to catch a glimpse of a couple of them at the San Jose conference last year and boy did they stand out!  Smiley

1551  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-24] CoinDesk:California Bill to Make Bitcoin ‘Lawful Money’ Heads... on: June 24, 2014, 08:04:41 PM
So, all this time I've been mining unlawful not-money then?......
Yes. all that stuff we bought, was not bought with money.  Huh
Apparently...at least not "real money".  You guys should feel terrible. :p
1552  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [In Stock]$1799 for 1T BTC miner,to be delivered in 24hours on: June 24, 2014, 07:59:07 PM
10% more than my total mining capacity in a single box that consumes around 1/5th the electricity.  Why oh why didn't I take the Blue pill?!
1553  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: NEW B2 34 MH/S Scrypt mining asic - Available now in UK stock for UK and Europe on: June 24, 2014, 07:55:54 PM
Nice looking units you've got there.  Pretty burly looking heatsinks going on.
1554  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s1 Not running at 180ghs on: June 24, 2014, 07:42:40 PM
Yea busy communicating with them thx !

Don't forget to put the resolution you got from bitmaintech here.
Take images of both the boards and post here if possible.
Perhaps he got his issue resolved through Bitmain tech support?
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed 5-Chip USB & Blade Miner Support/Tuning on: June 24, 2014, 07:41:07 PM
Was thinking I might actually be able to afford one of these gridseed's now that the prices are so freaking low.  Looks like i've found the right thread to get it up and running nice and quick like Smiley
1556  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Newbie Help with BFL 30gh/s, easyminer, Slush pool on: June 24, 2014, 07:39:26 PM
Absolutely move to either bfgminer or cgminer.  Easyminer is a worthless piece of crap and has been since it's creation.  Once you move to one of the aforementioned miners if your still having issue(s) reply here and will try to help you get it configured.  Hope you didn't pay too much for that badboy Smiley
1557  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help: AntMiner S1! on: June 24, 2014, 07:36:02 PM
Also suspect the PSU is resulting in higher temperature for that unit.
1558  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Anyone interested in KNC Neptune 3TH? Escrow ID Confirmed on: June 24, 2014, 06:12:30 PM
So I'm a little unclear.  Is the best current bid 3BTC for one?  Or are we actually at 5BTC now?
1559  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3 Antminer S1's overclocked to 200GH/s + Corsair CX500 PSU's on: June 24, 2014, 06:05:15 PM
Difficulty is always increasing. It depends on how high you think difficulty will rise in the future. This price is cheaper than Bitmain website and includes a PSU, if you have a reasonable offer, PM me (though much less than what I've posted and I will just keep mining with them tbh, I'm getting rid of them because my gf is sick of them, but I can persuade her  Wink)
lmao...well at least your making an effort huh?  She can't fault you for that!  Smiley

Your price doesn't seem to unreasonable to me, you might find some interest.  Good luck with your sale.
1560  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE - 1,150 TH/S HASH RATE (15GH/S per Unit) on: June 24, 2014, 06:00:43 PM
I just don't understand why all the belivers in Peta that are saying that the price is way to low aren't buying like crazy? They would make the deal of their life at this price according to their sayings. Hmmm... something it's not right with them I guess.
I for one am broke or probably would be picking up a couple of shares at the current price.  I personally think that Puppet raises some really good points and obviously alot of his predictions have indeed panned out.  I'm currently running at a loss with Peta as well but I don't blame anybody for this.  I think Puppets intentions might in fact be noble believe it or not.  Regardless, I really think cryptx needs to either substantially lower hosting/admin fee's and/or get a couple of actual chip geek's on the payroll developing his own chip if this project is really going to flourish for anybody but cryptx himself.
