Ha...ole puppet was off by at least a good 1000 satoshi's!!  Somehow not making me feel all that much better.  Guess we'll see shortly if cryptx steps in with some sort of ground-breaking news...otherwise I think the long-term viability of this asset is pretty much shot.
1482  Economy / Securities / Re: [CANNABIT] Investment Details - Announcement & Discussion Thread #cannabit on: June 27, 2014, 10:33:55 AM
Yo Cannabit dude wake up mein.  21 days since you've even logged in?  I take it the last crop is done and straight up fire Smiley

Where's the pixel-porn mein?  Div's?
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin might soon make your 401k obsolete on: June 27, 2014, 04:05:13 AM
As far as long term-retirement fund options go, I can't think of anything better than Bitcoin.
1484  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what should I do with 0.20247 bitcoins? on: June 27, 2014, 03:47:37 AM
I bought some 10.4 bitcoins for 495USD a few days ago. I am saving(!) most of it for my family members. the 0.20247 are the "left over" in my wallet, and I want to do something with them - to learn and gain experience.
If you purchased 10.4 bitcoins for $495USD please for the love of god hook me up with this person!!!  You can have my first born!
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggestest threats to Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2014, 03:44:17 AM
Idiots are the biggest threat to Bitcoin.
number 1 on my list

1486  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it worth it to invest? PETA-MINE shares are @ .041btc for 15 GH/s! on: June 27, 2014, 02:59:36 AM
Absolutely worth it if your willing to pay to support the network.  You WILL end up with far fewer satoshi's no matter how long you mine with it than you would've had simply buying and holding.
1487  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: After 28nm? on: June 27, 2014, 02:57:19 AM
Yup...KnC confirmed to be releasing 20nm product in their next-gen processors.
1488  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: GUIDE SETTING UP A SOLAR POWER SYSTEM FOR MINING on: June 27, 2014, 02:55:18 AM
Liking this thread.  It never ceases to amaze me just how many different types of peoples from so many diverse backgrounds and strengths can be brought together via this thing we call bitcoin!  Would love to one day have access to some serious natural energy to run a huge farm and support the network Smiley
1489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX.io GHS Bubble ? on: June 27, 2014, 02:47:33 AM
Agree that the price is over-valued per GHS on cex.io but also agree that if your a skilled trader you can more than likely make money trading GHS but you had better know what your doing.  I didn't and ended up losing out overall in the little bit of playing I've done.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union lost 2,000,000+ customers to Bitcoin in 2014 on: June 27, 2014, 02:44:54 AM
Only thing I agree with in the OP is the "of course Western Union isn't going to start accepting bitcoin" part.  I think they will hold off on doing so for as long as possible but will ultimately either be forced to adapt or die.  I suspect there are going to be alotta jobs going away in Western Union over the next 2-3 years.
1491  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitaddress.org on: June 27, 2014, 02:43:00 AM
just save yourself the trouble and create a paper cold wallet. you can do it easily through blockchain.info. as long as you don't lose the piece of paper with your public/private keys printed on it, your coins will be safe. no corrupted data to worry about... ever.
And here's a quick/easy link to the how to do Cold Wallet storage on the blockchain.info site.

1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Selling 20,000 Doge for BTC on: June 26, 2014, 10:44:26 PM
Hey Guys, I am selling 20,000 Doge for 0.015 BTC. Let me know if any one would be interested
Will be doing it through Escrow.

Either reply to this thread, or send me a message.

 Thanks!
This is a lousy price considering a fella could pick up 20,000 Doge right now for ~0.00995 btc on Cryptsy.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update Now to 0.9.5 wallet on: June 26, 2014, 10:40:07 PM
Was just looking into possibly purchasing a few of these off of cryptsy but after taking a look at the weak buy support decided otherwise.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of all coins on: June 26, 2014, 10:27:54 PM
I would recommend hedging a bit with the litecoin.  Darkcoin and numerous other X11 and X13 based coins appear to be on an accelerated path insofar as potential profitability.  Obviously that much riskier as well.
1495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Article Predicts Bitcoin Value will "Explode" on: June 26, 2014, 08:40:59 PM
Looks like bitcoin is going to hit the proverbial big-time before it's technically even out of beta!!  Roll Eyes
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union would include bitcoins if they were "regulated" on: June 26, 2014, 08:35:28 PM
I suspect Western Union is terrified of bitcoin right now.  Just putting on a brave face.  Why wouldn't WU support bitcoin if their customers asked for it?  One simple reason, it would crush their existing profitability model all to hell that's why.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isle of Bitcoin on: June 26, 2014, 08:27:32 PM
I would be more than happy to be a pair of boots on the ground there.  From the images I've seen on google it's absolutely gorgeous!
1498  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Japan will not regulate Bitcoin ... yet on: June 26, 2014, 07:44:46 PM
Definitely think this is good news for bitcoin.  Less/no regulation allows it to thrive much faster in my opinion.
1499  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] 51 shares of AUTOTRADE asset as listed on Crypto::Stocks (9% off IPO) on: June 26, 2014, 06:26:15 AM
Due to the sheer amount of additional from work all the traffic !hitting my thread I think I'm going to shut er down early.  I know alot of you have been watching closely and where perhaps thinking about making a 'mooouf' at the very last second will now have to forget about it!  :p
