2381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: July 16, 2016, 05:51:30 PM
Honestly, I don't see a strong incentive for customers to use bitcoin. The price fluctuates from day to day, so you never know exactly how much you have, and it's so much quicker to use a bank card or cash, no confirms and you can charge back if the seller attempts to defraud you.
2382  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: July 16, 2016, 05:47:45 PM
Gyft, which usually ends up getting spent at Walmart and Amazon. Unless you live in a great part of the States, this is pretty much the reality; shops. just don't accept bitcoin here

How does the OP propose to move the data between accounts? Have they implemented a trading feature, or would the OP need account credentials to do this? Interested because I was trying to figure out a way to monetize this myself.
2384  Economy / Services / Re: Customer Service Manager With Remote Team Experience Looking for Employment! on: July 16, 2016, 01:45:25 PM
Hello everyone, I'm still actively looking for recruitment for any reasonable project that requires customer support or customer care solutions. I'm open to ventures outside of the crypto sphere; if you have a need that supersedes crypto. My rates are highly negotiable depending on the nature and periodicity of the work, shoot me a PM if you want a quote, I am open to suggested rates but be reasonable please Grin

2385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton Pledges Support for Blockchain on: July 16, 2016, 01:33:47 PM

Meh. I'll see it when I believe it, I too think this is just a ploy to get (nerds?technophiles?anarchist?) more voters on board in the fight against Voldemort (Trump). Blockchain technology should REALLY take a back seat in the mind of any potential presidential candidate; there is entirely too much shit going on in the world right now to fix. People are getting shot and blown up here and abroad essentially because of cultural differences. Be that skin color, or religious beliefs. Financial transparency is great, but you know, well, there are dead people.

Now if those emails had been on a blockchain.. Grin
2386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: July 16, 2016, 01:26:46 PM
It can be seen here. Gambling threads, gambling websites. I dont think there is a permit for that. They just open it and make an advertisement that they are open. Then people will come to gamble. That is illegal right?

Depends on the jurisdiction. In theory you should need a licence, ESP if the service is being offered via platform. But with the case of some of these smart contracts, the code would be the house, and I think it would be hard to sue the code. If the code never cashes out the funds, it never realized capital gains, and subsequently has no tax liability. Now that I've typed it out, I guess you are right; essentially offering gambling without a license is illegal. But enforcement in some cases would be almost impossible. Also, while this should be highly illegal, the government is being really cavalier about this at the moment for some reason.
2387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Setting up a bitcoin ATM, what location do you propose? on: July 16, 2016, 01:20:53 PM
You can never go wrong next to a college. At the best, a decent IT or computer science department would be all over that and give you some traffic, along with some business majors that are into trading cryptos. Worst case, you will have a convenient place for campus heads to come buy bitcoin for their dark market pot orders. Either way, you will profit  Grin
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SMS to Bitcoin ? on: July 16, 2016, 01:17:03 PM
I need company that allow users on my sites to pay money with SMS or CALL and i get Bitcoin in return from this company.
Do you know any if exist ?

Not sure if exist, but that would be not good for anyone, most money would go to telephone comanies and it would be very expensive to get bitcoin through that method :/.

Exactly said, the more process it takes place more will be the transaction charge. This truly makes big impact over the users to avoid such methods of transaction.

Related, this is why you cannot buy bitcoin via any Google application or service, especially with Google wallet funds. They get a third of the cost of in app purchases from indy devs, that I'm pretty sure the developer would simply pass on to you. Unless you want a 33% 'transaction fee', you most likely won't be purchasing.
2389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell BTC anonymously on: July 16, 2016, 01:11:45 PM
Hello all. Can anyone advice me how to get rid of bitcoins anonymously? I know that there are markets, and I want to sell BTC but not to my bank account, but anonymously. Thank you

I think it has certain limitations as you can make any transaction with bitcoin or any altcoin is can be done anonymously. But when you trade Bitcoins against fiat currency, at that time its responsibility of exchanger to keep all details of user who is trading altcoins with them for security purpose.

In such case you can just only sell bitcoin to exchanger to get them in fiat currency by submitting required docs only.

If you go through any financial institution, that is, an organization with either a banking or money remission license, they are required to follow really strict AML (anti money laundering) and KYC (know your customer) procedures in order to ensure they are not facilitating illegal activity. This caps the amount of money you can convert, requires you to fully disclose your identity and makes you subject to being watchlisted at high enough transaction amounts.
2390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the probability of Bitcoin being replaced? on: July 16, 2016, 01:06:32 PM
Very high, and likely. I think a government sponsored, centralized replacement will pop up eventually, and bitcoin might be made illegal. But, this will drive the price of bitcoin up, as it will be rarer, and still anonymous. I can certainly see bitcoin becoming a black market currency in the future.
2391  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 16, 2016, 12:58:04 PM
If Hearn leaving could move the price, then certainly segwit on the ground should increase confidence. Also, if we see anyone else exiting the European Union, or needing a huge government wide bailout, price should react. Finally, adoption by a major retailer, or payment processor.
2392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: July 16, 2016, 12:54:04 PM
Anyone bought drugs with bitcoin and what are you thought on the subject ?

i know i have used bitcoin to buy psilocybe cubensis thank you bitcoin i cold have not done this without you now i can trip watching corry & eastenders in the evening its such a sight.
I am sure that there are people that want to buy drugs with Bitcoin but I do not think that it is going to be possible because of the fact that Bitcoin is anonymous.
I think that the government is not going to allow this thing to happen.
true that some people want to buy drugs with bitcoin and you are right that is totally impossible and also think that the government is not to allow the drugs with bitcoin because a large number of people are against of drugs .
it's so imposible to buy drugs using bitcoins because it can get your information and think how you will get it in meetups or delivering it into your home or the fbi will arrest you.

Well, you always have the option of doing a peer to peer transaction, these sorts of things don't necessarily have to take place via a dark market. In fact, if you were going to purchase an illegal substance with Bitcoin, this is the only way I would suggest it. The record will still be there, but at least internet access hasn't compromised your anonymity.
2393  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: July 16, 2016, 12:50:34 PM
In the States, unless you are buying travel, food, or clothes, bitcoin isn't so 'accepted here'. If you are going to be paying any real bills, that is, utilities, mortgage or rent, and car and insurance payment, you are out of luck. There are a few services that allow you to pay them in btc, so that they can pay the bills in fiat on your behalf. But they usually charge a service fee; your best bet is conversion to fiat if you are paying a bill.
2394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency Wars: Governments Hoarding BTC on: July 16, 2016, 12:44:44 PM
With a current market cap of about $10.5B, I don't think there is enough BTC for hording by govts to be worth while.
To the countries you mention $10.5B is not very much money.

For Comparison, The US currently owes China $1.3T.

Exactly. Unless the entire capitalization of the sphere greatly increases, any one single major government could 'buy out' the Bitcoin market. Hell, a few of the right major companies could do the job. This is one of the reasons why it wouldn't happen, as well as the fact it would be much cheaper and secure for said government to develop their own coin. To hell with all that anonymity and decentralization, from a national security standpoint.

Hello all. Can anyone advice me how to get rid of bitcoins anonymously? I know that there are markets, and I want to sell BTC but not to my bank account, but anonymously. Thank you

Check out localbitcoins, they have a peer to peer option that is virtually anonymous. Also, look at Craigslist, but be safe; and look at bitcoin meet ups, people are always willing to trade there.
2396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If u were Warren Buffet would u buy 51% of Bitcoins? on: July 16, 2016, 12:38:34 PM
If i'm Warren Buffet and i have a lot of money, i would definitely buy the 51% of the bitcoin because we can see the great opportunity in bitcoin and its price is continue rising and maybe someday the amount that i invested in bitcoin will be doubled or even tripled. So why not to take risk Roll Eyes.

I wouldn't, let me explain. When it was known that one actor controlled a majority if the coins, and could basically influence price at will, I think people would be less enthusiastic about investing. While people would certainly still speculate, I think institutional investors would shy away from a known 'cornered' market.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: July 16, 2016, 02:41:26 AM
Slightly off topic, but I've been out all day. Is there any particular reason eth and DAO are up? Did some news drop that I wasn't aware of?
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help DOGE on: July 15, 2016, 08:34:33 PM
Nothing can help DOGE anymore

I LOLed. Before I clicked through, I thought this thread was an entreaty from Dogecoin for assistance, not a 'help me' .

To solve your problem, you could just send the funds from one wallet to another. I assume you can still make transactions from the mobile wallet, correct?
2399  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: July 15, 2016, 05:53:41 AM
LOL, I have to say it, you can always launch an ICO for some new coin or token. Around these parts, it's an almost surefire way to get rich quick  Grin

But seriously, look for odd jobs in the real world, and buy bitcoin. Much easier to earn fiat than bitcoin, there are so many more opportunities.
2400  Economy / Goods / Re: Where can i buy gold jewerly from with bitcoin?? on: July 15, 2016, 05:50:34 AM
Thanks for the help fellas. Yeah i was looking for a custom jeweler. TRying to find the supplier to the local mall jewelers.

Oh, if that's the case, contact a Chinese wholesale supplier directly. They know exactly what bitcoin is, and if you can get past the language barrier, you might be able to broker a deal. There was at one time a wholesaler that accepted btc, but I can't remember the name. I was looking to purchase bulk novelty lighters for and online shop.
