Cool and science-fictiony vibe to your idea, the only problem, as others have pointed out, is that getting hacked would be a real bitch.
Also, wouldn't want to deal with someone motivated enough to take off my whole arm/hand, to access a key. You don't want to centralize this information in this manner; better any keys be in a way that you can divorce them of yourself should the need arise (being kidnapped or arrested, for instance). You would rather hand a physical token of this sort to someone rather than risk having it compromised/ stolen, having it as an implant is a bummer as far as operational security goes. This is a slightly better idea as an otp generating device. Maybe tied to a person's biorythms.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in Japan now that so many retail outlets there are going to begin accepting bitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised if Japanese bitcoiners start leaning very heavily in support of Core/SegWit
I can certainly wait for the congestion this is going to.cause, since we can't make up our minds over this whole scaling fiasco. I feel it's coming to a head, given the recent developments in the mining scene, but I still feel we won't have resolved the scaling thing by the time this comes into full effect, and it might make the decision for us. Also, would love to see some competition with asic design as the Japanese market gets more into mining. The Japanese make elegant devices.

More and more people are using smartphones thanks to budget friendly mid-rangers, almost anyone can now afford to buy a smartphone.
Mobile payment is becoming more common and it is an opportunity to acquaint people more into using bitcoin . Mobile payment will eventually replace credit cards or at least will make them less mainstream. An example of this is Apple Pay. Bitcoin smartphone wallet apps are to use when you have a transaction, you just scan a qr code and the transaction is done though will take some time to be confirmed.
Smartphones indeed are a very important part of bitcoin. It is so easy to scan a QR code and then voila, sending a transaction is literally as easy as pressing "send". The beauty of bitcoin is that you can literally use it on any platform because the implementation is so easy, as the source code is open source. But smartphones are easy to carry around, making it easier for people to make transactions everywhere. I totally forgot.about the convenience of qrc codes and smart devices. It's a small PITA to use a webcam to scan a qrc, which are notoriously low resolution (for the rim mounted laptop.versions at least). Most semi decent smart phones have a more than passable camera attached; given the annoyance that a bitcoin address is, any bitcoin device someone is going to use practically.is.going to need a camera and a screen. Two birds, one stone.

Poor United Airlines, this is the worst PR nightmare you can have as a company. He Dr was being filmed dragged off and it went viral already. I don't know how UA wil be able to cover this up. As for the Dr. go sue them up for your brutal removal in the commercial plane. Social media will have a field day shaming UA and their trouble will not over yet when the Dr sue them in court.
I was thinking about him suing. I just wonder where they are going to find a jury that isn't biased against United now that all of this is out. I guess United should just settle with the man. They kind of have it coming, they have been doing alot as of late. And a poor response from the Asian community is appropriate. They picked this guy because he seemed like the least threat, and that's not really fair in a situation like this. And US media is actually dragging this guy through the mud as we speak; a few outfits published articles about some of his legal and health issues (I'm not going to go in to it, it not my business). Their shares took a fucking nosedive today.

This is very funny. Trump is already a clown and does nothing serious to improve the country, and then there are amusing wars against him.
He's a clown, but in his hands a very powerful weapon and the army. He runs the most powerful country in the world. I do not exclude the possibility that this clown could easily turn into the "Joker". Evil clown it's not funny. Exactly, it's a Killing Joke, so to speak. The Russia propaganda machine was in full effect for Trump pre election. Hillary was the fucking anti Christ apparently, and the convenient leak of DNC emails didn't help the situation. I even remember PutinTrump artwork on display. Now fast forward. Trump has been taking an increasingly harder line with Russia, via Tillerson, in order to discredit the allegations of collusion with Russia during the election. Then we get to the Syrian crisis. Not so suddenly (this has been a slow motion train wreck) , Trump has outlived his usefulness. State media won't be as accommodating.

If you ask me, I'd say leave them alone until he makes some stupid move like launching missiles or some external dodgy business. Then you go in, take him down and after he's down, I don't think that people would be that much in grief, since we know what situation is in there and i you look at it, liberated NK can be a great source of cheap work labor since they're used to working like that and the whole NK could become flooded with big companies looking for cheap labor so it would become far more industrialised and also there are a lot of people from NK and SK that are separated by that war.
Unfortunately I don't see much intelligence nor no Trump Ivanka. It is foolish to wait when they do something bad. You need to be proactive. Do you agree? I have to agree. We didn't do anything military under Obama and the situation escalated to its current point; I'm not saying there weren't reasons, but ultimately, sanctions failed. Now that it has developed to a point that they are actually a serious threat, it would be wise to cut the head off of the snake, so to speak. To be passive additionally would only bolster the resolve to complete their program. And no one wants NK with a true ICBM.

From the messages coming from Moscow, I do not see what the Americans have achieved visible success. It seems to me that team Trump is even less professional than it seems at first glance. I think they're all idiots. Now another scandal with the press Secretary of the white house.
I think this will escalate into something we don't really want tat the moment, which will help usher in the coming global recession. Russia has to respond if we intervene again, and I feel as though we will be provoked into doing so. I'm not really a fan of Trumpian tax reform (essentially tax cuts for corporations, and the elite), but at this point, for the sake of everything dear, I want to see them succeed. Wall Street went full derp on just the promise of regulatory repeal and tax cuts; to not deliver now may harm the market in a way that dramatically effects the whole.

Wells Fargo is now returning fiat payouts to their origin if it comes from a bitcoin exchange.Bitfinex has had all its withdrawals in fiat to Wells Fargo accounts returned and so has other exchanges today. Is this legal or just the bank being scared of Bitcoin and giving no help. Please boycott Wells Fargo till their rules change
There are plenty of.other reason s to hate on Well Fargo besides this, LOL. They were rejecting bitcoin related deposits a while before this, and remember they were just caught up in that fake account scandal (this was less.than 6 months ago I believe. They also had some subsequent shit with the cover-up (I think they went after the whistleblowers aggressively, and fired a bunch of people; the employees sued for wrongful termination).

Like I expected US will accused again the Russia for that incident. If they help each other to fight the al-qaeda and ISIS I think they will be defeat that terrorist group.
Have you ever punched yourself in the face?. Same as below .. If they help each other to fight the al-qaeda and ISIS Yet there isn't a lot of love lost between the two camps. If you observe, we (USA) are assigning blame to Russia as we speak..interesting development, in my opinion. If this is a misdirection by the Trump administration, it's a dangerous gambit; this is the thing that can lead to the ultimate conflict. It is kind of.obvious however (of course Russia knew before the chemical strike, of it was indeed a Syrian state military action. No way Assad would mobilize troops with his ally having active troops in the same area, and not tell them/warn them.

With 1000 dollars each, it seems that bribing with bitcoin would be a good idea. One USB stick will do the job with no third party required.
Well lol, what have you been up to man Sure, the idea seems great. Actually you don’t even need a USB stick, you can just tell them the private key by mouth, although that is a hassle to do due to the sheer number of characters in a private key. Or you could hand them a piece of paper. I doubt that people will accept bitcoin bribes to be honest as most people don’t know what bitcoins are even yet across the world. You’ll probably find more success using cash not bitcoins lmao. Disclaimer: I do not endorse the act of bribing anyone! Yeah for real asking about bribing says something about the user sort of. I think the USB stick idea was to make the transaction of the key quicker and smoother. Even a piece of paper is hard because you have to type it all out. An usb stick is awesome because you can just copy it straight from the txt file on the drive. I don’t know though if the other party would accept a bribe in bitcoin. They would hopefully have a use for it since changing it into fiat might loose 20% of the money. Although the USB idea is slick, there is still a record.of the transaction on the blockchain, in a permanent format. So much easier (and final) to hand someone some cash. Unless the serial numbers were recorded, once the cash leaves your hand, the transaction is done. Essentially, as long as the transaction is discoverable on the blockchain, it's still alive.

If you think investing in bitcoin or a similar “crypto-currency” may be a good method for hiding income from the tax man, you’d better think again. http://nypost.com/2017/04/08/no-you-cant-avoid-taxes-by-investing-in-bitcoin/I am smelling something good here with the news. If the government declared about how peoples can't avoid the taxes by investing in bitcoin, it means directly or indirectly government said that they recognize the existence of bitcoin and how it can be profitable to invest. I think its pretty easy to circumvent tax with bitcoin. Any bitcoin earnings you make you can trade on a peer to peer market without making a blip, you can use that cash to purchase household items and consumables, and save your taxed earnings. Inversely, if you can spend the Bitcoin directly on household goods, you can do the same without having to involve anyone else in the transaction. But it's a gamble, they will bury you if they catch you.

What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?
I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Take his wallet/mug him. When the person is like "why man?" you can be like "this wouldn't have happened if your were holding bitcoin" Lead by example. And Make Bitcoin Great Again™

Bitcoin donations or crypto currencies wont make any difference, nowadays big donations are made to support terrorists, and nothing happens at all, banks dont care what the money is for as long they get their fee, easy as that. Bitcoin is a currencie that can be used for both sides, and there is no way to prevent the abuse of any of them. I doubt terrorists will risk their money over bitcoin, since they can loose money doing such, and they do have their costs.
LOL I have to agree, so much illicit money is moved through the traditional financial system that bitcoin could never compete,.just as a function of scale. Bitcoin might be viable for money ttansfer, if there is liquidity. But buying anything that would fund a meaningful war effort, besides food, would be pretty difficult as no one really accepts bitcoin at the moment. Also, funding terrorism isn't a small dollar exercise; to convert the btc to fiat to actually buy stuff would probably set off AML/KYC flags at most legitimate banks.

Russia is going to recognize bitcoin,so is it a potential and big market? How can I know more about Russia's market?
Russia already recognized bitcoin and they are planning to accept bitcoin and based on the other thread that i read, they want to monitor every transaction. The bitcoin market that will be created in Russia will have a great potential and it will be a big market because just imagine how russians love digital stuffs and they are one of the country that has an advanced system so i think russians will love bitcoin and it will become a big deal for them. Yeah, Russia seemingly embraced bitcoin a while.ago, as they are pretty cyber savvy as a culture and bitcoin is the official currency of the internet, LOL. A few exchanges are located in that vicinity as well (Yobit comes to mind). I don't know about the regulatory climate over there concerning this, but, unless it became a major interest of the state (seems like there are bigger fish to fry ATM) wouldn't really be a deal, so to speak.

We can try to convince them once or twice and if they are not interested then we should not be bother about Them, because a time is coming is going to speak for itself.
There are some people I know who just think that Bitcoin is for only money laundering. They see news daily but don't try to understand the Bitcoins features or it's advantages. I have tried for sometime to make them understand but eventually just left trying. Those guys believe anything which comes in news without doing any fact checks. So can't do anything. This is the age of alternative facts but in their defense, the media only really report on bitcoin when there is bullshit, or when the price spikes. With the occasional nod from a TV series. Almost Human and Family Guy come to mind (I feel like there are more, bit I don't really watch a lot of TV).

Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.
I remember reading an article about the USAA a while back having bitcoin balances. It was through Coinbase, I believe, but was the first time I had seen a bank, especially a military bank, embrace bitcoin. It's still.integrated, so I guess the experiment is working for them ATM

smartphones user will also contribute to the growth of bitcoin a andriod users too are growing globally, the main issue is to advisetise the importance of using bitcoin to people i.e creating more awareness to people. thereafter mobile transactions using bitcoin will gain more ground locally and internationally.
Already many people started using their smartphone for buying and selling bitcoin, but this is more comfortable for many people because there is no need to carry laptops every time, bitcoin is becoming more popular when many people started using smartphone for transacting bitcoins. A lot of the cultures that use bitcoin as a working technology, don't even own laptops.. For the countries with weak banking systems or a low general level of capitalization, the phone is the primary method for Internet banking. An excellent example of this is MPesa. The whole of the interface is mobile, and it is used more extensively than banks.

Trump has proved himself to be as war-crazy as Hillary, with the recent missile attack on Syria. I am really afraid that he will trigger a major nuclear crisis by attacking North Korea. To Trump's credit, the DPRK is unlikely to attack mainland United States. But what about its neighbors, such as South Korea and Japan? These countries may be at the maximum risk of a nuclear attack from the North Koreans.
USA is all about words and threats right now and could not afford yet to touch North Korea. Though it can be sad because we outside of North Korea would want the current regime to finally end and stop all of its leader's crazy antics. North Korea is really a spoiled brat who has always a bad tantrum, willing to destroy his toys anytime he wants. I only pity the people of North Korea because majority of them really believe all words of their supreme leader all the way from A to Z. I agree this.would.be a logistical/budgetary nightmare at this point, especially that we may engage Syria again in the immediate future. This.is a subterfuge I think; war is the patriotic banner that we can all rally behind, a common enemy that can let us put aside our differences at least temporarily to resist an outsider. But if we start this fight, we will have to finish it. Which means removing him from power, one way or the other.

In case anyone missed it, this post in in reference to the PR nightmare caused by UA the other day Backstory: The airline overbooked the flight, and then wanted to move 4 employees to another airport on the plane... so they decided to kick off 4 paying passengers... Nobody volunteered, so they picked 4 people to kick off the plane... One of those men was a doctor who said, "I have obligations to my patients in the morning, I have to be at the hospital to do surgery... my Hippocratic Oath will not allow me to take another flight" United Airlines did not care, and called the police to forcefully remove the paying passenger/doctor Video of doctor being dragged out of seat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAeQXPt-n8gA few minutes later... he runs back on the plane saying, "Just kill me, Just kill me, Just kill me..." http://abcnews.go.com/US/video/video-shows-passenger-dragged-off-united-airlines-plane-46716487And this is on the heels of the other PR nightmare they had recently, stopping those two little girls from flying because they were wearing leggings, and travelling on buddy passes. They are going the way of Uber, as far as public relations is concerned. But this particular case is concerning because of the use of force. This guy had just as much right to.fly as everyone else, and, would.you really inconvenience a passenger to accommodate an employee? Also, didn't have to face check this guy into a face rest, in front of his lady.

It's horrid to have to think that someone who says they support the Bitcoin community, in this case Jihan is the same person who is just blocking the best solution out their based on the pure motive of greed and eyes of profits. I do understand it though, as money is usually the motive for many decisions being made when it comes to big decisions in the world.
This would also be the reason that they'd be losing around 30 percent in the leg up they have on everybody else so I guess that would mean 30 percent less profit and such?
Segwit does have its own problems but I really see it as the only viable solution that would really be following what Satoshi would've wanted. As I do highly doubt Satoshi would've wanted a centralized system run by King Ver.
Yeah, the suck in this is that we were mislead as an entire community, for the benefit of a few. We could have moves towards a compromise in a more informed manner if there wasn't someone putting up noise for the sake of distraction. And it severely undercuts the argument against segwit, given the ethical implications of this farce. We've lost time and trust, and gained nothing.
