Wheres the latest depression comes from? The last time everyone was hyped because ActiveMining was mentioned in BBC or similar and now all is bad again? What news support this?

Sometimes some labcoin and activemining trader looks to me like manic depressives, changing from deep depressions to high euphorica and back to start again...

Everytime the difficulty increases by 30% - 40% many of us freak out. We are being left far behind with no reassurance that we are on track, Ken has not even ordered the first batch yet.
2382  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 22, 2013, 12:22:57 PM
Yeah I wish I had done some more research into the criticisms before investing.

Not much I can do now, I hope that we get miners soon and a decent dividend.
2383  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 22, 2013, 11:45:04 AM
Crumbs.

Yep.  It's me.  The guy who called it from day one & tried to save you from this cesspool of fail.
Now total failure is guaranteed, even if these chips prove to be more than a fever dream Cry

Do you have a link to this post on day one? I am genuinely curious.

Have you seen reddit? It's full of idiots and groupthink, and I'm sure voting encourages that.

If a certain number of downvotes are needed to cause someone's post to gain a visible reduction in size or colour and upvotes simply counter this negation, then gaming the system would be difficult. Also make it so only full members with enough activity are allowed to vote and upvotes don't push the posts up because the linear structure is always preserved, so a upvote only serves to counter a down vote.
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: October 21, 2013, 08:56:52 AM
What we need is a more modern forum system where useless idiots can be down-voted. This would work similar to reddit except the linear discussion structure would remain. Instead of putting people on ignore they would be down-voted and hidden, with an option to reveal their posts when people need to understand why they were down-voted.

interesting update from asicminer...

Quick Update

Blockchain-based exchange out of pre-alpha (whether to migrate whole ASICMiner database is still a serious debating topic).
Ooo... this sounds like colored coins based exchanges are on the fast track to release now. Very good news.

If ASICMINER makes a really good exchange that can also allow for multiple securities then I suggest that Ken considers this exchange to move to. Especially if it solves the US taking over the world problem.

Ken, I think the last several pages need to be deleted.

Lot of people seem to not understand how all encompassing and how serious a properly written NDA is.

Ken can confirm that we are delayed or not.

Says you. Not says NDA.

NDA (http://axs.net/AMC/eAsic-NDA0001.jpg and http://axs.net/AMC/eAsic-NDA0002.jpg) says that he is forbidden from divulging confidential information which may include matters of any technical or business nature. The amount of time that it takes eASIC to get their brand-spanking new 28mm chips out SEEMS TO ME like it would be considered confidential; and talking about "delays", either to confim or deny, would be in breach of contract. VMC is at mercy of this NDA, fully and utterly. Ken doesn't even acknowledge the posts asking about these matters; because that in of itself could be construed to be divulging information.

EDIT: To me it seems like a big "delay" in the plans would be eASIC deciding that Ken breached the NDA...

Ok, so what do we do halfway through December when we are still hashing 400GH/s and collecting 5 Satoshi a week in dividends? Do we just lay down and sell our shares for 100x times less than what we paid for them?

Can Ken perhaps tell us expected hash rate of the sample chips?

By the way, ASICSRUS is being paid by primedice so everything he says is corrupt. Put him on ignore please.

How about a coordinated fud attack by those who are being paid by our competitors to undermine this company?

Let me surface and get a cuppa and I might give your challenge some effort.

I am not being paid by a competitor, as I am one of the top 30 investors I want this company to succeed.

I want to know if there are delays in the chips, how much dividends will the sample chips provide and so on. Ken ignores all questions about the ASIC processors.
2393  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 20, 2013, 04:14:44 AM
I don't think he will make an announcement about the sample chips until he has them up and running.

Ken can at least admit they have been delayed.

Also how much hash power does the sample chips give? If its 500Gh/s for the entire sample batch then its not going to help us, we still have to wait till December to get real hashing power and by December the chips will be lucky to be 5% of their effectiveness assuming we got all the chips today.
2394  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 20, 2013, 03:50:24 AM
Also if anyone is interested and not regularly checking up on Bitfunder here is some news: there are now large sell walls forming, probably because of Ken's reluctance to answer any question about the ASIC chips we bought and how delayed they are.

Ken can we have an update about the miners please? I hope we have sample chips hashing and paying dividends very soon.

4 Pages go by and Ken replies to certain posts that are less important than my question.

Ken please reply, are we on track to be mining within the next few weeks or has eASIC been too slow? How long will we wait until mining? Months? January before the first sample chips?

Ken, as you can see by the replies to my post, this company has became a laughing stock of the Bitcoin world.

The main thing that matters for a mining company is mining. Please tell us how close we are to hashing. I am very worried.

Does anyone know why we had an increased dividend yesterday?

wow I just noticed this too...

sample chips?!

Lets hope so, although to be honest Ken would have said something if this was the case.

Does anyone know why we had an increased dividend yesterday?

Is it because most people have sold the shares back to ACTM , only sold shares get dividend right ??

The dividend was paid out to all 10,000,000 shares.

There is no mention of Active Mining in this article.

http://bitcoinmagazine.com/6564/cointerra-planning-to-release-2-petahashes-of-mining-power-by-december/

This, boys, is the competition, and we are not near the pole position

You're right about ACTM not being near the pole position.

But Cointerra hasn't even taped-out yet, and may not have the entire ~$5,000,000 needed for their NRE.

By December, HashFast is going to crush the competition and dominate the network.

You should have bought HashFast shares then, not the fail that icedrill will turn out to be.

almost nov. good news should start rolling out soon right?

Depends on your perspective.

Some might suggest that Ken failing to deliver on his promise of releasing a 3 month P&L and balance sheet yesterday means that he can't be trusted to keep his word in the future.

I, on the other hand, would settle for an apology and an explanation as to why he hasn't kept his word.

Lets hope his explanation is good. EDIT: P&L at the end of the month.

Dividend day is today and its going to be really poor. I expected single digit satoshi dividends within several weeks.
