Isn't there someone interested in buying a Prospector but would like visual confirmation of products in stock first?

I imagine anyone interested in an asic would never consider ordering a new "in stock" asic when no real pictures of it exists.

So how do you explain a hundred of these flying of the shelves in a matter of hours, especially with no pre-marketing in the led up. Ken announced it and someone bought them all right away.

Hey Ken we have a terahash online right, could you take a photo of that hardware because lots of shareholders think it's cex.io again.

We know the Klondike's and existing Avalons hash around 800gh.

The Avalons and Klondike's are still on BTCGuild.  We will have taken pictures and will post them soon.

That's what I thought, so the Avalons and Klondikes are on BTCGuild, and we know they exist as we have seen them before.

So regarding this terahash on Eligius, I assume that is our prospector card and not cex.io? I do wish we could have a photo of the hundred prospector cards, that would be very good.

So we are now a hashfast reseller? I'm really confused about this now.
1425  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 28, 2014, 08:04:44 AM
So that's pre-orders shipping and 100 instock products ready for IMMEDIATE DELIVERY folks!  Grin

Can we agree that some photos are a good idea at this point? I wouldn't mind looking at some boards.
1426  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 28, 2014, 06:23:11 AM
So it's not preorder and available now but we can't have real photos?
1427  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 27, 2014, 03:54:32 PM
Can you confirm the boards are activemining designed and built?

Also how far along is the 28nm of our own design?

Regarding the 200th farm. I'm very happy progress is being made. Thanks Ken.
1428  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 27, 2014, 12:39:50 AM
Ken. Are we still creating a 28nm chip of our own? Or is that project on hold?

Also, I assume the boards we are using are our own. Is that correct (minus whoever's chip we're using for now)
1429  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will miners in USA be able to remain competitive due to huge tax burden? on: March 26, 2014, 06:17:36 PM
Your question shows a complete lack of understanding tax laws.

Ok sure the burden has always been there, but most miners have not been paying tax and in addition to every American miner having to keep track of the fiat price as their coins are mined the consumer is now going to be even more confused.

Every time someone buys a product with their bitcoins, they now have to declare profit or loss for that transaction compared to value of that coin when they earned/mined it.

But I digress, my point was more about how American Bitcoin miners can no longer remain competitive in the world. Before at least we could go under the radar so to speak, we had to otherwise the rest of the world would be too efficient for it to be worth our time. But now it's in stone, Bitcoin mining in the United States will essentially be impractical. Hardware that is cost effective in China most likely will not be cost effective in the United States.

I could easily be wrong, in fact I want to be.

User modeless on hackernews reckons all USA miners will have to pay 40% of every mined coin!

I think he's talking about mining, which is now subject to income tax (likely 25%) and self-employment tax (15%).

Bitcoin miners would have to report their earnings as taxable income with a value equal to the worth on the day it was mined. If they mine as part of a business, they would have to pay payroll taxes as well.

It seems like the latest tax advice from the IRS will put American miners in a less competitive position in relation to other companies that will likely never pay any meaningful tax.

Basically you have to deduct the amount earned in fiat in real-time as you mine your coins. People who mined during the peak and did not convert into fiat are now liable to sell double the bitcoin just to pay their taxes.

So after we deduct the losses (Several million dollars) ActiveMining will have to sell 30%-40% of every mined bitcoin on the day!

So now we have only a third for reinvestment and a third for dividends.
1433  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 05:39:10 PM
That means everyone gets $3 total per share before this company is out of money

$3 and I am done, I would consider $3 a share one of the top 3 things to happen in my life.
1434  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 04:50:28 PM
EDIT:   Current price of ActM shares is 0.007

Zum what are you smoking?

Try 0.0007
1435  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 04:22:50 PM
and you gauge your projection based on the last year of progress/success/communication/etc?

Of course not, it's obviously based on future projections and the fact of a working 28nm chip

Wait Funky, you have been seriously misinformed.

We are ordering 200TH to go on our designed boards. The custom chip of our own design will hopefully be ready after we get 200TH online from our competitors.

1436  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 04:21:30 PM
But there are some people (like me) who would be happy to liquidate shares at prices much lower than that.

It's true that 0.00015 is optimistic. To be honest I doubt we'll ever see above 0.00005 once we start trading all 10,000,000 shares.

I argue that 0.00015 will be our peak after share release, with the companies account allowing for a stable price of 0.00008. Of course if we have to wait 3 months to get competitors chips then 0.00001 will be more likely.
1437  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 06:25:30 AM
Any approximation to the value of each ActiveMining share?

Just wondering.

I currently value a share at 0.00015 btc.

I know that a million shares are ready to sell around the 0.0001 - 0.0002 mark as soon as we trade.
1438  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 06:23:03 AM
If we could only get our hands on US Patent #US8650327 we'd all be as rich as Rothchilds.

Isn't this like saying "If we had Satoshi's million bitcoins, we'd be rich?"

The patent has no relevance to Bitcoin mining, it's primary focus is Input/Ouput logic.

In addition; this makes little to no sense:

If we could only get our hands on US Patent #US8650327

The Chinese regularly ignore US patent law and I don't see ASICMINER as rich as the Rothchilds.
1439  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 25, 2014, 04:01:29 AM
maybe the new chip is from the new vendor that ken knows.

wait can't he say simply "from the new vendor"

Absolutely not. Ken is for certain using other peoples chips.

However, if he is using our boards and has a 28 soon on the way then I believe this is a good decision (Of course assuming he gets 200TH online very soon).

Things that could make this the end:

- We are not even using our own boards. This would show we actually have zero intellectual property and no ability to run our own chips when they come.
- We don't have our own 28 on the horizon. If Ken has lied and there is no production of a custom chip, then we're inevitably doomed.
- We buy 200TH and it arrives in 3 months. Would have been better to simply liquidize the company.

I am hoping these things are not going to be the case. Ken could already inspire a little confidence by telling us that the boards are our own and we are not too far from having our full custom arrive preferably after we get the 200TH of competitors chips online.

If Ken hasn't aimed the BTGUILD miners towards Eligius then we are now making 0.1 per day.
