Thanks for clearing this up Ken.
It's surprising to see this kind of knee jerk reaction from investors who I would expect to have a little more gumption.

Agreed, but as the leader of the company it is important to always project confidence no matter how stressful or frustrating. When he sounds like he doesn't believe in what we are doing, it makes us feel as if we should not believe either.
+1 If we can start hashing in the next three weeks, all this will be a moot point. But, at this point, it's feeling more and more like a crap-shoot. I believe 100% in what we are doing! If you look at the quote I used, that will tell you the whole story of were I am coming from. I am sorry that I did not project the confidence that some of our Investors needed. I am very confident that ActiveMining will come through the hard times ahead with the difficulty rising at over 117%/month. So as I said "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". I am in this for the long haul, working hard everyday to make ActiveMining and its Investors successful. thanks ,ken ,i believe in you.

If you had any respect you would tell the truth. No one has said sample chips would be delivered mid October, you are making that up. The chips should be due soon but no fixed date has ever been given. Hypocrite.
Ken said that. Please don't make me go dig that up...

Ken can we have an update about the miners please? I hope we have sample chips hashing and paying dividends very soon.
4 Pages go by and Ken replies to certain posts that are less important than my question. Ken please reply, are we on track to be mining within the next few weeks or has eASIC been too slow? How long will we wait until mining? Months? January before the first sample chips?

Also if anyone is interested and not regularly checking up on Bitfunder here is some news: there are now large sell walls forming, probably because of Ken's reluctance to answer any question about the ASIC chips we bought and how delayed they are. 151,940 ฿0.00102999 Unless this guy moves, we are never going above 0.00103 again.

I don't think he will make an announcement about the sample chips until he has them up and running.

I agree. I would assume any details of the progress are under NDA. But, I would also think that giving an updated time-frame to completion shouldn't be an issue.

Ken can at least admit they have been delayed. Also how much hash power does the sample chips give? If its 500Gh/s for the entire sample batch then its not going to help us, we still have to wait till December to get real hashing power and by December the chips will be lucky to be 5% of their effectiveness assuming we got all the chips today.

Even a 'I would love to answer that BUT I cannot due to NDA' would be better than just ignoring it time and time again...

Do we really know that they have been delayed? I think the thing the issue has more to do with the unexpected increase in hashing power rather than delays to chips, doesn't it? We can't really confirm that anything is late, as of yet. Besides, difficulty increase has to start leveling-off at some point, otherwise it is going to infinity.

Nobody knows except Ken, and Ken seems to ignore all questions on it. Cue the FUDsters and trolls to fill the void....

December?? Yeah let's just start pulling numbers out of our ass. "5% of their effectiveness" what does this even mean? Difficulty is not going up 2000% in one month, buddy.

We have a lot of competition out there, and it's serious competition. Things aren't as bright as they were months ago when a lot of us started investing in this. You need to realize that in this sort of environment, any information that Ken shares about whats going on would be another disadvantage to ACTM. Our competitors do read this thread. I know I would want to know the intricate details of ACTM's plan if I was a competitor.

That is a very weak argument. What could our competitors possibly do given the information that our chips were about to land? Make theirs more quickly? Like they aren't trying to make them as fast as possible anyway? I challenge anyone to come up with a hypothetical situation whereby a confirmation from Ken of the chip production schedule helps our competitors to compete with us. Go.

How about a coordinated fud attack by those who are being paid by our competitors to undermine this company?
Let me surface and get a cuppa and I might give your challenge some effort.

I am not being paid by a competitor, as I am one of the top 30 investors I want this company to succeed. I want to know if there are delays in the chips, how much dividends will the sample chips provide and so on. Ken ignores all questions about the ASIC processors.

I am getting really sick of the tears. Please just man up and accept what you're involved in. And for those of you unable to use your own initiative and think for yourselves, I'll send Ken a nicely worded PM so I can report back to you so I don't have to listen to this anymore. The fudsters are loving this and we are playing right into their hands and bringing more damage to this company. How many pre-orders lost from all these pages of nonsense because of panicing shareholders who can't just button it? You really think all this 'I want it now!' whinning is helping anything? Makes me sick really because YOU are the real damage here! No-one else, and bALLBREAKER, crumble and VE are laughing their tits off right now. They are getting paid and we are doing their work for them!!!
