Steamboat,

It was been a week since your last post. Could you please provide an update, even if it's "Still waiting for Yifu to ship out the chips".

 Thanks !

8 days.

I'd like to see my refund now? i mean, he can ask for whatever compensation he wants. but he should at least start posting the refunds to bitsyncom and send those back to the ones who asked for it.
Should he / we get more compensation after, fine and dandy. I just dont want to sit and wait for a refund based on steamboat asking for compensation? (ask for much , get little, or worst case, we get the chips delivered that should have gotten refunded).

No reason to wait. Refund orders to yifu, process our refunds asap. (chip orders).
0902 we got word on refund. Forms were sent out and people have surely posted their details by now.
its again 8 days of no communication. (what if BTC/USD drops 90% over night.. i'd rather get them now than later)..
243  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitfury ASIC sales in EU and Europe on: September 10, 2013, 07:17:00 AM
hi all, how do i connect to miner from iphone ( i am not in my wlan, only 3G)

you need to port forward your miner's port 80 outside the NAT, or create an ssh tunnel into your home network if you have a server with ssh port open.

and get a dyndns.org address to your home ip, as its ip address might change. Put the dyndns details in your router, and you will always have minerXXXX.dyndns.org as your connecting point to your home network.
I'd recommend having some sort of VPN firewall setup if you really want to access home from outside..

question, are you sure the unit is running 81.5 avg? with standard settings, it normally averages 82-85.
Shipping+escrow included?

Amazing fast response.
If i might give a hint, just show in red text above the payouts that mining is working, updating the stats report. (to be done by x-x-x)

is there a problem with payouts today? hnot seen a single one all day, and payout chart has stopped, hashing still shows (128s,256s so on shows hasing) but estimated total has stopped also. (seen for other addresses aswell)

251  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Best hosting location for mining gear on: September 07, 2013, 10:03:29 AM
I can get full rack for €500/m, airco 20dgr and security with ups.. (host one Avalon currently)..
I also can get a full rack for less than 150 euro/month.
However that doesen't come with free power.

mine does, cooling and internet also.. (secure location)
What's your provider?
Free power and internet for 500€? Possible, but there must be some caps. Like 2A and 100Mbps. What are they?

basically an office hotel, renting whatever you want to rent from them. copy machine, meeting room, address. (server hosting)
252  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: September 07, 2013, 08:08:20 AM
I need to consult with my mining consortium before I can give a price. Perhaps I will make an auction thread. Anyways.. I'll let you guys know soon.  Smiley

do so.. put up an auction..
253  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: September 07, 2013, 06:52:22 AM
BTW-

Has anyone tried taking Avalon batch 3 modules apart? In the four module version, they combined modules 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. I'm not sure if there is an easy way to separate them into individual modules.

If anyone wants a fried batch 3 module let me know, maybe you could fix it. I am not sure what fried on it, but I saw sparks flying so it can't be good.
id have it too.. price?

hello?
255  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Chips (SebastianJu) Batch 6 ordered (Closed) on: September 06, 2013, 11:42:08 AM
Sebastian, you can simply put remaining chips from whichever batch on auction when they arrive and pay refunds from the coins you get.
Although I received a refund, I still have a paid board assembly order and still would like to buy chips (physical chips, not Yifu's promises!).

I doubt people will want to risk their chips getting auctioned off at a 25% (or how much will they be worth?) cost of their investment just because they were left in a half batch?
Or will you front the 50% of the 780BTC it will cost to start the auction with 5000 chips in stock?
256  Economy / Auctions / Re: 40 Shares of Coinhoarders Diversified Group Buy (BitFury/KNC/VMC/Hashfast) on: September 06, 2013, 07:48:32 AM
376.20079636 BTC for 2112+ Gh, was the entire investment of the group right? but how many shares did that make?
just looking at how many GH each share will get.

So a 40 BTC share will get you 1/15 of the hashing power of all hardware that is eventually bought minus electricity and a 3% hosting fee.

It is hard to say exactly what the cost per Gh will be because we have not spent the leftover group funds yet.

Ok, so "As is now" its BIN 3BTCx40 for 141GH? (which will increase in GH as the 224BTC are spent?)

259  Economy / Auctions / Re: CNX.BIZ Short Three Letter Domain in auction start 0.10 BTC on: September 05, 2013, 10:43:51 AM
ste0024
Again, if you want to bid , or have a -question- then thats fine. Otherwise do not post in this thread.
No, you can not register a three letter .biz name. To help you understand ABC.biz is a three letter name and 8EX.biz is not.
Start your own discussion thread about domains.

Terms and conditions

Assigning : .BIZ domains are open to everyone, if you use it for bona fide business or commercial purposes

Syntax : from 3 to 63 alphanumeric characters or a hyphen (excluding in the first and last place)
for sure, most of the three letter are already taken. you should be able to take zz1.biz, but cnx.biz is clearly worth more than zz1.biz.
I don't really know what you are trying to get to..
260  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 05, 2013, 09:43:28 AM
So we get 95% back for the chips. Would I get my shipping costs and assembly costs refunded as well. I don't expect parts costs to be reimbursed if they've already been purchased (I'm in batch 4), but if they haven't been purchased yet would they also be refunded?

I think, correct me if i'm wrong, steamboat is asking yifu for compensation.. And until he knows yifus standpoint fully, he has not decided how to do on assembly/hardware/shipping cost refunds. I'm not part of his assembly buy, but i'm thinking, shipping+assembly can be refunded and you can be owner of unassembled hardware in his warehouse without it being shipped to you?
