It seems eth etc both are in coma. Tiny volume, least movement in price, lack of general interest. If this condition persists newcomers will never know about these 2 coins in near future.

This is crypto, it seems that they are selling but they are buying. i think thiis coin is already fail... price tell everything market tell the thruth.... considering that ETC is just 2 month old lets look at EThereum when it was 2 month old? 2 month after crowdfunding what was the price ? i guess i remember it was below 1$ and then didnt deliver anything real till just a year ago. and it broke promisses. lets look at ETC what has been acomblished? it stood alive. has a plan to deal with the most reckless gift the Ethereum foundation gave us the diff bomb. has first dapps working in progress. has lots of devs joining and wait it is listed on exhanges thats a lot more then ethereum had after 2 month and o yes it does all this with no crowdfunding money couse ETH took all of that with them. so yes this is a strong coin. couse the comunity is strong . |

I was thinking if we had to change our name... we could use Aetherum Classic as a name. We could use Aether as the unit of currency with awei, aszabo, afinney as subdivisions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aetherhi green, i dont think we need or should rebrand. some thoughts on it if you sell someting with a brand on it like Ethereum was done you cant sue the buyer for using the brand. i bought my ethereum and ethereum classic was a gift from ethereum foundation beccouse of the fork. so how could they by any means sue anyone for trademark? i cant see a case there . its like microsoft sais now o i dont like windows xp anymore i hate it i want it to die and therefor i forbit every one to use my trademark windows on it .... i read what charles said there about investors .... microsoft got investors and they had a lot of open ends legali as i recall. if you get bigger you always get sued for plagiat or what ever. i wonder how the founding will be done in etc .... via donation ? fees ? do you have an idea about what is planed ? and the goverance ? |

Only 1000 ETC? Surely he can do better than that. He "earned" millions from the "hack" and that is all he can spare? That is funny. I cannot see how this is big news. Also there is the bigger problem. What does he intend to do with all his ETC now that he has full control of it? Not to dump on the market I hope. It would be nice to have an official statement from him. Hackers are Bad guys. What ever the reason is, taking someone's property without consent is nothing but stealing. And we are expecting nice thing from a hacker ?? He had consent. Everyone who sent to the dao consented to the terms of the contract. That contract had an actionable clause in it allowing for him to make a withdrawal. Hes not a hacker. He was exercising his rights as per the terms and conditions of the contract that everyone agreed to. I didn't agree to a contract where anyone can take the funds at their whim. I agreed to a DAO that would have been used to kickstart new projects and the like. Than you don't understand what ETH is. What its for. Why it exists. What it represents. Look at the title of this thread. Immutable. The code IS the contract, sending funds IS the signature. but this is wrong not the etherum blockchain alowed the hack it was a third party the dao which had the bug and alowed the draining but the ethereum devs and foundation decided to step in and bailout those who trusted tual and co. so ethereum eth fork lost its immutablety |

This project probably will not succeed on it's own. You guys are going to have to get out there and make the case. You are going to have to explain to everyone who will listen how this project represents a principle and a legal precedent so much greater than a single hack or individual hacks that are bound to happen. I really hope it doesn't die. I loved the idea of ethereum. That idea is dead on the fork chain that everyone is blindly following. And its just a tiny little flame against the cold cold world here. you mean one needs to explain what the centralizing of the world computer ETH means ? for everyone ? and for all generations to come ? and why ETC is so important to stop the slavery of all humans ? and i dont think i use too big words or blow up what is happening if ETH succeds imagin a world where a hand full of psychopats has all rights all means and owns the world computer thats total power . |

hey hey placebo isnt belive everything ? i belive in this coin and i buy and hold the price is a very nice gift for me thanks dao c holders and others. i never saw a coin that is listed on an exchange go away never since i am in crypto it will always have a value and if such a coin has a name and a comunity it will be among the top 10 i say thank you to all this dumpers thank you very much for my cheep etc coins i wasnt fast enough last time i am now lol |

Furthermore, the individuals extra need is not a requirement for the successful operation of crypto-currencies. Therefore, because it is unnecessary, there is very little or no interest in it on this ANN. Equally, there may be security issues involved in operating a Wallet-QT outside its' specifications for Windows OS. Consequently, for the individuals own benefit, he has been told to contact the Ethereum Foundation. hi italian do i understand right you want to migrat your blockchain from one mashine to another ? i tryed that becouse i got a mashine and didnt want to download the whole wallet again , which took me a week to get all the blocks on my laptop. and no i didnt get it done had to reload the blockchain. copy and past didnt work maybe you come to the etc thread where you find helpful people who are not to arogant to answer questions. |
