Wooder, please respect my request for you to continue this discussion in Slack. Please also take note of @crazywack's words here: this was all covered months ago. Like July/August months ago.

Are you in slack wooder? Cuz this was all covered months ago. Like July/August months ago.
Indeed. Also, @wooder this is not the place to discuss XC. Join Slack. Furthermore, this thread was deprecated long ago, so if it's discussion you're in for, feel free to join the Blocknet Slack. Lastly, none of what you posted has any bearing whatsoever on whether XC is dead. It's very much alive. If you want to continue on this topic, please do so in the XC Slack.

Blocknet is backed with several high reputed devs. That`s why I entered in this token recently. It`s true that my favorite coin - XST - participates only technically in the this tech, but the tech itself is a new step forward in crypto universe. I believe in BLOCK.
Yeah i believed in XC too and the project seems to be now officially dead. As the same dev was responsible for this i wouldn't count on BLOCK to get finished in near future. Hopefully they don't change direction again and start with a new project and leave BLOCK like they left XC XC is not dead. The Blocknet is very much alive. Please refrain from posting without supplying any kind of evidence. // Re. news, yes we have some. Publicity materials are ready too, but there's no release date as yet. Stay tuned. Join Slack too.

Cryptico, you are now banned from this thread.
This is due to your repeated abusive posting (in Slack, and now here) against people from the Blocknet - not to mention the irresponsibly emotional and groundless nature of the claims you make.
Do not post here again.

anything new for blocknet so far? hows process going?
We're now focusing on the dev incubator and on the trade fee distribution mechanism. Stay tuned - we hope to have a more detailed status update out sometime next week.

Both the Blocknet's block explorers' hosting services have expired. Not cool!
Thanks for the heads-up notsofast, as we were not notified by either of them. Will follow up asap...

iCEBREAKER, recall that you are banned from this thread for unremitting trolling.
Do not post here.
Battbot, my apologies for deleting your reply to iCEBREAKER. It had nothing to do with your post, only with iCEBREAKER's presence here.

Just thought I'd check in to thank you folks for the great conversation in this thread. Fascinating stuff. I love this project!
Cheers

I am curious to know how the things are moving around because in Sept was announcement about decentralized exchange and implementation and then long silence.Would you please like to say some words in this regard.Thanks.
Hey hey In October we completed the implementation of our core exchange algorithm. Next task is to build the "holding node" tech, which will distribute trade fees to wallets with BLOCK in them. For more up-to-date info, join Slack: http://blocknet.herokuapp.com

I've been updating my OS to the newest version of linux mint over the weekend, I've had to reinstall all my wallets. I got a compile error while trying to install blocknet from source: leigh@mintBox ~/installed/blocknet-master $ qmake Cannot read /home/leigh/installed/blocknet-master/config.pri: No such file or directory Anyone know how to fix? Hey hey Alas, I don't, but perhaps ask in Slack? http://blocknet.herokuapp.com

What is DX? Decentralized exchange?
Yup.
|
|
|
Let's choose our words accurately: after they cut XC off and left to die Utter nonsense. XC is in "stealth mode." It is not dead, and is not abandoned. Dan is long gone from here and the PR guy is around less and less. Which should be interpreted as: I'm here all the time, and Dan is at work continually. We have a finalised DX protocol implementation, and I'm pretty excited. Stay tuned.

|
|
Great news. Do you know when everything will be ready? Will be there be a big launch with publicity? And if so, what is the time frame? 3 months, 6 months a year? Thanks.
Yes, we'll launch it as publicly as possible. However we're not giving out timeframes due to the intractable trickiness of creating new tech. As soon as possible though, naturally. :-)

Hi all. We're happy to announce that the core algorithm implementation of the DX is now complete! - and has been audited by Dan for trustlessness.
In addition to the finalised algorithm implementation, the order book should now clean out expired transactions (since we no longer need them to check that the xhub is functioning as expected).
This, of course, needs to be checked, so you're all very welcome to test it out in Slack tomorrow!

I guess the "+1" replys were deleted
How odd!

Thanks @evildave. I'm certainly curious as to the reason for deleting anything in the history of this thread.

Anyone notice that several posts in this thread have been deleted by a forum mod? I have no idea why. We were on page 302 previously. Edit: I posted the above due to having received this message: Crackfoo: I delete your messages, because you're impolite and/or abusive. Please don't come back here again.

This applies especially when making claims about the Blocknet's development (it's active and ongoing, and open source) and the status of the tech (it's live, functioning, and currently getting vetted for its trustlessness). If you want make a claim to the contrary, back it up.
Is this valid enough proof for you: blocknet/ Latest commit fa6efc on Jul 22 From the link you provided: https://github.com/atcsecure/blocknetSoftware project where a single line of code is not changed for 3 months is considered active?!? That's the interim wallet you wally. Now if I recall correctly, you were banned from this thread. If I'm mistaken, then due to your long-term and unremittingly shallow trolling of this project, you're now banned. Goodbye.
