Here are most common issues: 1. Please check if date and time are correct on your mining rig. 2. Probably your miner messed something with DAG file. Stop miner, delete all DAG files and restart miner. On Windows you can find DAG files located in the AppData / Local / Ethash folder under your computer’s Username in the Users folder (example: C:/Users/myPC/AppData/Local/ Ethash). You may need to enable the showing of hidden system files first in order to see the needed folders in Windows Explorer if you have not enabled it already. 3. Wrong version of GPU drivers: The solution is to download and install the AMD 15.12 driver. Uninstall of 16.3, run CCleaner to cleanup leftover registry entries, restart, and then install 15.12 4. https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/5426/a-bunch-of-2gb-cards-stopped-working-tonight-because-of-dag-file-size/p1Here is solution. Please start ethminer this way: You can put it all in a bat file. setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 ethminer ...blablabla...usual...stuff.... --cl-extragpu-mem 0

FYI
Finally we have fix for PPC wallet - new version 5.4.0 PPC pool is up and running. Suspended payouts have been sent.
|
|
|
This morning pool's PPC wallet stopped synchronizing with network. We had to temporarily turn PPC pool off. We are working on this issue.

Hello! my miners are working , and the shares are going, but on the site are not credited Ether , what's the problem ?
Daemon responsible for rewards related calculations stopped working. We had to restart it. Balances have been updated. Payouts have been sent. This outage had no impact on mining. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I restarted the webserver. Everything should be ok now. Mining was unaffected by this issue.
we can not mine anything? I don't quite understand what do you mean ?

Are there any problems with payouts again? Vertcoin - no payments No problems. Pleas email your account name to coinotron@gmail.com

Is there some problem with payouts? Confirmed rewards are bigger than treshold but still no payouts longer than 9 hours.. and autopayouts are all set.
Payout process stopped. We restarted it. Payouts are up and running now.

Hash rate has really gone down on this pool. Even with an 4GB R9 380x and a 3GB R9 280x I am getting bad hash rate average around 18 MH/s. So it seems like I am not getting any advantage with 2 cards over 1 but using the same hash command on Suprnova I am getting around 55 MH/s. Why such a discrepancy? ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://coinotron.com:3342/-------------------That is the basic line I am using for farming. Please email your worker name to coinotron@gmail.comTry Genoil's ethminer. It is really easy to set up. We suggest using latest version available here: https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/master/releasesand start mining using following commands: ethminer -G -S coinotron.com:3344 -O username.workername:workerpassword

Is there any possibility to select share difficulty for ethereum stratum? I have three rigs, two of them with 5x GPUs and one more GPU in another computer. This last GPU doesn't find shares very often and I feel I could get more profit if the share difficulty were lower.
Thanks
Sadly due to some limitations of ethminers we support only one static difficulty. However there is no impact on mining profitability. Only disadvantage for slow GPUs is greater variation of hashrate estimations compared to faster GPUs. which is better for ETH mining on faster GPUs? qtminer or ethminer? I didn't perform any tests so I don't know.

On your website, you have a table that has a column for each coin that says "profitability" and it measures in percent. What does profitability percent of a coin mean?
PPC: profitability vs BTC using the same hardware Other coins: How much more profitable is mining given coin using the same GPU than mining LTC.

ETH miners. On block 1260000 miners should start using new DAG file. However some miners might have problems. Please check if your mining rigs are submitting shares. If no, please visit topic 'ETH mining troubleshooting' on our help page: https://www.coinotron.com/app?action=help

Yesterday there were 2 DDOS attacks on some clients in our datacenter. They mitigated attacks in 2 hours, but it is possible that some users coudn't automatically reconnect after attack. I checked your stats today - they look quite good.
Datacenter admin told me that they are working on permanent solution to those attacks.

Stratum was down again ? got email alert at 18.20, stratum came back online around 20.26 ?
Seems to be alot of problems the last few days, hope it gets sorted out
Servers were up and running but there were some network issues at datacenter. Incoming traffic was affected. Different part of the network were affected more or less. They sorted that out after 2-3 hours.

I dont know what is going on. Huge drop in reported hashrate throughout the night, again no email alert.
Iv no option but to change pool, support turnaround seems slow from coinotron with no clarification what is going on.
I would advise everyone using coinitron to check there miners and hash graphs.
Our getwork eth pool is hammered by some wrongly configured miners. I think we finally managed to filter out this spam. ETH Stratum pool was unaffected.
