ETH miners.

On block 1260000 miners should start using new DAG file. However some miners might have problems. Please check if your mining rigs are submitting shares. If no, please visit topic 'ETH mining troubleshooting' on our help page: https://www.coinotron.com/app?action=help

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

On your website, you have a table that has a column for each coin that says "profitability" and it measures in percent. What does profitability percent of a coin mean?

PPC: profitability vs BTC using the same hardware
Other coins: How much more profitable is mining given coin using the same GPU than mining LTC.

Is there any possibility to select share difficulty for ethereum stratum? I have three rigs, two of them with 5x GPUs and one more GPU in another computer. This last GPU doesn't find shares very often and I feel I could get more profit if the share difficulty were lower.

Thanks

Sadly due to some limitations of ethminers we support only one static difficulty.
However there is no impact on mining profitability.
Only disadvantage for slow GPUs is greater variation of hashrate estimations compared to faster GPUs.

which is better for ETH mining on faster GPUs?

qtminer or ethminer?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Hash rate has really gone down on this pool.  Even with an 4GB R9 380x and a 3GB R9 280x I am getting bad hash rate average around 18 MH/s.  So it seems like I am not getting any advantage with 2 cards over 1 but using the same hash command on Suprnova I am getting around 55 MH/s.   Why such a discrepancy?

ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://coinotron.com:3342/-------------------

That is the basic line I am using for farming.

Try Genoil's ethminer.
It is really easy to set up. We suggest using latest version available here: https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/master/releases

and start mining using following commands:

ethminer -G -S coinotron.com:3344 -O username.workername:workerpassword

Ok it appears that Genoil is unreliable!  I never got Failure: GPU gave incorrect results ever before!  This Genoil appears to be unreliable first time using it. it ran good for a while than stopped mining with that error.

Maybe you need to add some additional parameters. Sadly configuring miners is not my area of expertise.
Please check out this topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1368785.0

Or try using our proxy with original ethminer:

It is really easy to set up. Just download mining_proxy.exe: proxy

and start mining using following commands:

mining_proxy.exe -o coinotron.com -p 3344
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/username.workername:workerpassword

More details you can find here: https://github.com/Coinotron/eth-stratum-mining-proxy

Hello,
I resent a link to unlock my account to change the payout threshold to 0.1 and now the account is not locking.  I tried changing the threshold to a different value but no matter what I do it will not lock.  I can keep changing any value and it will not lock.  Just wondering if this is normal or am I missing something?  Thanks

Is there some problem with payouts? Confirmed rewards are bigger than treshold but still no payouts longer than 9 hours.. and autopayouts are all set.
