2 @ 0.1 each = BTC 0.2 I'll pay shipping in USD PAYPAL or I can e-mail you the label.

I could also match that x 2 given the "available amount"..

Not sure what the quotations are supposed to mean  Roll Eyes. But If the PM buyers would like to come forward they can... I have already taken payment and switched over hashrate until they ship.

"available amount" = 4.. user before me bid x 2.. so I matched it for the other 2... no rollie eyes needed.. not sure how that could be taken the wrong way...  Huh Roll Eyes

Why is the double miner more expensive than two miners?

Yes good catch. Let me talk to Justin about this and see what the reasoning is on this. If I recall correctly we had dropped the price on the Miner but let me check if it has to do with any other components like the rack etc. Or maybe the price is wrong?? I'll let you know. Thanks

Your lack of knowledge on the product you are peddling is very concerning to say the least..
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rumaTech Miners on: January 16, 2014, 03:54:43 AM
Thank you for posting these. One of things I want to emphasize is that these units plug into your router or a switch. They are essentially full fledged computers, their software just defines them as a miner. Each miner will have 2 things running, a BTC wallet, accessible from a web interface, and a Miner. The miner will be defaulted to mine on MiddleCoin, which mines the most profitable coins, and pays out in BTC. Middlecoin will send the bitcoins to the wallet on that system, and the web interface will allow the customer to transfer those bitcoins to their own wallet as they wish. There are more to these units than simple hardware.

Those are the default settings, but can easily be modified.

Again - I posted this on the LTC forum.. why are you talking in BTC if these are mining LTC (or scrypt/KH)?

Someone could buy 2-3 x ASICMINER 333MH/s USB miners that use 2.5/W each and mine the exact same BTC equiv for much cheaper and lower power consumption..  ??

or even better 1 x ANTMINER U1 @ 1.6GH/s (easily OC'd to 2GH/s+) for .06 BTC to easily mine more in BTC

Power specs stated on the LTC forum (for those interested) before this thread is moved:

https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=13217.0

Ruma stated:

Quote
- We are going to offer 4 Miners. Mini Miner ($1500 / 800KHash), Miner ($3500 / 2400KHash), Double Miner ($7500 / 4800KHash), and Mega Miner ($14,000 / 9600KHash)

Quote
Alright Justin said this is what he came up with for all 4.

500 / 1200 / 2400 / 4800 respectively.

From JayAce (calculations) on LTCtalk
Quote

Mini-Miner

800kH @ 500W = 1.6kH/W

Miner

2400kH @ 1200W = 2kH/W

Double Miner

4800kH @ 2400W = 2kH/W

Mega Miner

9600kH @ 4800W = 2kH/W

From Ruma:

Quote
Mini Miner
Powered by a Single AMD Radeon 290X GPU and a Radeon 8670 APU.

Miner
Powered by 3 AMD Radeon 290X GPUs

Double Miner
Powered by 6 AMD Radeon 290X GPUs

Mega Miner
Powered by 12 AMD Radeon 290X GPUs

I ordered at 6:58pm est time Jan 6th. Have still not received a tracking number. I guess they counted my order as a Jan 7th order (because of the time difference). Miners were falsely advertised as in stock, and that it would ship in 2 days, and I confirmed this with btmine before ordering. It has now been 9 days since I ordered, still no tracking number from btmine, just one excuse after another.

I paid around the same time with Paypal.  Today Paypal told me it was shipped. Yesterday night I emailed them and they said that the Shipping agent from PRC to HK had not given them a tracking number. I'm pretty sure the ones that are marked shipped well be getting to us I just don't know when. I"m on a roller coaster ride with these guys. They give me just enough information to not be pissed. Then turn around and piss me off some more. The only thing I can be pissed about is the length of time it is taking to get the miners. BTmine update your original post.

perfect example of why I opt to push my BTC towards Bitmain..

Payment sent. Send me confirmation.

250  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 15, 2014, 10:56:44 PM
Please watch out this website is very buggy - I made payment right away and Bitmain says only needs 1 confirmation

Had 10 by 30mins still website not show I paid now my order has been canceled and yet I paid with over now 15 confirmations!

Trying to get a reply from Bitmain or his email team is near impossible.

Sadly I now fear the worst :/ Anyone else had this problem ?

Negative - took 15-20 mins to get 1 conf if I recall.. once I had 1 confirmation, site reflected good to go / valid.

I made an order at DATE: 2014-01-15 19:43:21 Paid at 2014-01-15 19:44:02 with now 37 confirmations yet I got Unpaid,Unshipped,Expired - Have sent an email to there support team. Or if Bitman reads this please get in contact with me or fix my order.

Just wondering a user provided a wallet address above but each transaction you make to Bitmain has a personalized wallet ?

Yep - then it looks like it was redirected/sent to the addy that MrT posted

Mining Stably, Delivering on Time, if not Pre-Shipped.

Now we need only 1 confirmation after you paid the bitcoin. As we will double check before we finally ship, We believe double spending attack is not rationale.
2.2BTC/Unit, Shipping included.

The first batch of Antminer buyer is going to ROI in a day when I write this post

When Bitmain first introduce the miners on the market, we sell on 2013/11/23 a 180GH/s ANTMINER at 4.75 BTC. some people fear the increasing of difficulty, while some other community members bought it.

What if these miners started to mine on 2013/11/25, how many coins has the S1 mined, assuming not overclocked, 0.10$/KWH, 836USD/BTC? The number is 4.697BTC, electricity bill deducted. The miner who bought S1 on 2013/11/23 @4.75BTC per unit needs only another day to enjoy the ROI when we write this post,  without overclocking.

Now according to our model, which has been proved accurate or conservative in the past, we believe the 2.2BTC is profitable price for the miners, and a fair price to distribute the future mining revenue between the Bitmain and the mining community.

Good news Smiley   To hose who say 2.2BTC is too high, you need to review your calculations - difficulty is beginning to settle a little towards 20% increase per jump which results much differently than those 96%/month estimations. I think that at 2.2BTC, you should expect it to mine 2.1-2.6BTC in its useful lifetime

I have units from the original 4.75 and 4.25 auctions/group buys, and looking at the income they have provided, they have made *approximately* 4.3 and 3.95 BTC each - a little lower than bitmain's estimate, perhaps because shipping time/delays and system setup/down time were not factored in. - In either case, both systems need to pay off far less than 2.2BTC of their costs Smiley

The product is simple and fairly energy-efficient. it would be nice to see an option added to purchase units with a secondary fan installed, or perhaps slightly quieter fans, Considering I have added a second $20 PWM fan on each unit ive bought so far

What PWM fan have you been going with?
254  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 15, 2014, 04:26:33 PM
IMO - I would rather buy these units any day of the week over what is being peddled on the Avalon side in the GB forum.  (Which I just did x 2)

Given the track record with this crew and product.. it is hard to beat.

I don't live inside a constant "ROI Calculator/Forecast" box.. so, that aspect doesn't "bother" me as much..

Just my 2 cents
255  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: January 15, 2014, 02:01:25 PM
So now it says 2.2 BTC and Up Coming. Any idea on when ? Very impressed with Bitmain so far and would not mind getting a few more S1s

Shhhhh..

(they already updated the U1 pricing too)

You should probably edit the title of the thread to "Out of stock / delays"

And paste what you just posted in the main thread

It's simple - don't take any more orders until you have no shit product in stock.
259  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BITMAIN's website and online store are open-promotion with limited 30 AntMiner on: January 13, 2014, 06:15:36 PM
I think the biggest concern on mine (and I would assume others like me but I cannot be sure) is that I cannot make the correct modifications to power supplies to power these things.  Could you possible consider an option of adding premade wires or something that all I have to do is then connect them to a standard ATX power supply?  That would be helpful and I know that you would get at least a couple of orders from me, and a lot from a guy I know looking to buy a couple TH's of machines but is concerned about setup.

Newest batch(es) have PCI-E connectors already on the blades - problem solved!

One of the BE blades are cheaper and perform faster.. not sure on the power draw though
