Hopefully, Bob comes back to report there were no damage/issues to the shipment and all is well...

386  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 27, 2013, 04:40:36 AM
Same here, made the payment friday am, got the miner tuesday pm. Everything running fine, nice build and everything. Definitely not a scam. In-stock ASICs with quick delivery should be the norm, thanks to bitmain for raising the bar.

"raising the bar" would have a product in a fully functional website with cart/checkout system.. is this ready yet?  The original post even points towards this:

Quote
"All 1st batch miners will be able to purchase our product at our official online shop once the S1 is in stock and prepared for immediately shipping out. Remember, we sell miners in stock in the first round sale! There will be quantity discounts, and we only need about one week to produce the first batch."

if everyone knew this was a scam, why wasn't it closed and locked immediately?

heck why isn't closed and locked right now?

click the "report to moderator" link on the OP to notify the board mods..
388  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [KnCMiner] Neptune 20nm "early 2014" on: November 27, 2013, 01:45:10 AM
It deserves its own thread, the consolidation of everything here is a bit too extreme.

lol - dont think you were around when there were 2982347896239 BFL, Avalon and bASIC threads all about the same shit

390  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL has Black Friday SALE!!! Be careful on: November 27, 2013, 01:08:03 AM
I'm sure they are marketing towards the global BTC black Friday happy fun time that is being announced:

http://www.bitcoinblackfriday.com/

I see the turds from VMC have a product listed on the main page there..

Plenty of suckers in the sea to get that instant shit taste in their mouths when things are delayed forever (or 2 weeks)...

392  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who is the next in-stock ASIC miners or short term pre-order? on: November 26, 2013, 03:09:11 AM
Really?  Another thread from an obvious "paid" mouthpiece for this operation?

I don't see any "in-stock" hardware from this ANT hw?  Can you link me to a website/shop/cart that I can pay for hardware right now?

Pre-ordering being the worst... Auctioning isn't that much better given the amount of clowns willing to throw money at it..  however, if the greed is hot and the gettin is good.. have at it.

394  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 22, 2013, 01:26:46 PM
Hey guys,

Relax!  They run the auction on Bitcointalk.org.  Bitmain is not the only company who has done this way before.

I have seen Bitman Chinese thread, which seems to be much more friendly than on this thread. I assume it's the language barrier (I may be wrong).

Sushi is just trying to help. He does not have to - as he could have purchased the rigs for himself and not share the details with us. Hence, you guys need to lighten up.

+1 power to Sushi for his positive actions.

Yeah - just like a car salesman... oh so very helpful all the time!

Hence, this is the internet.. will do as I please.. kthx!
395  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 22, 2013, 12:53:51 PM
No offense, but I'm so tired of seeing "I'm this manu's cheerleader and I'll keep answering positively for them while they remain silent".  I work 70+ hour weeks and I can still post on this forum, no excuse for a vendor to not keep people interested.

This - while not on ignore I generally don't read anything this sushi guy says as it is always blatant pump up rah rah bullshit.. gets old real fast..
396  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: November 22, 2013, 02:52:43 AM
I was eagerly looking forward to this and hoping it would be priced with a reasonable chance of ROI.

The problem with running an auction for the first machines (as happened with asicminer) is that there are enough people who don't care about ROI and just want to have new equipment that the price ends up being way too high.

The manufacturer then sees that people will pay $4500 for it and prices it accordingly.

^^ This...

x2, but not shocking given the current spike in BTC and current hardware climate..  it is a herp a derp market out there and this operation looks to take full advantage of it..

398  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Blades 10.7gh - .49 BTC - Free Ship - Pre-made power connectors on: November 20, 2013, 05:57:29 PM
I have new stock of blades arriving this evening. Free priority shipping, free pre-made power adapters, and price protection. All of today's orders will be shipped tomorrow morning.

I should also have more cubes arriving soon.

So the blades go for .49BTC?

Cubes go for 1.49BTC?

Are you planning to price match Canary @ 1BTC on the cubes at all?  (which would make current pricing on blades seem a little off).

Just curious..

Thanks

Yes I will match any distributors price, but I do not take preorders.

What will blades be going for since it would make more sense to buy 1 cube vice three blades?
