242  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN RALLY LOSING STEAM IN $420S GOING INTO THE WEEKEND on: February 20, 2016, 10:46:05 AM
Personally I think we've got a little bit left before we hit a stall.  I think the next resistance zone we'll be looking at is the $440 range after the buy pressure is balanced out, but not quite ready for a fall after a rally of this size.  I'm still long for the moment, but cautiously.

That said, we were able to get through the 428 resistance point we found last time with little issue, so I think we've still got a bit going for us.

Let's see... MatTheCat thinks we're about to plummet, so I guess this is a great opportunity to buy some and make a few bucks.  Thanks for the tip Smiley

244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: February 19, 2016, 08:21:16 PM

Those few crazy people are not crazy at all. They have a goal and they are still among us. Re read the first post of this thread if you care.

Media Promotes “Pedophile Rights”
Not long after same-sex marriage ruling, leftists now demand rights for pedophiles
http://www.infowars.com/media-promotes-pedophile-rights/

You are free to reject the idea they exist still.

None of the people in the source you linked are fighting for the right to be able to act on their pedophillac (sp) desires.  They are expressing that they have no intentions on committing anything related to it, and/or that we should be focusing on treating it as a disorder instead of stigmatizing it and letting it be until something happens.  I think that chemical castration is a great option in these cases, where medication can be used to permanently kill the sex drive so there is no desire to act on these urges.

Of course Infowars is going to try to twist what's going on, Alex Jones loves to go on Christian rants so he has a vested interest in relating LGBT people to bad shit.
245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: February 19, 2016, 02:29:51 AM
The ILGA fucked up big time there, no denying that.  Had they not kicked them out when they did, the organization could have easily crumbled and fell down under the scrutiny that it did.  The majority of the LGBT community does not support pedophilia, and the staff now on the board is vastly different.

The LGBT community is not a hivemind that supports something because a single organization fucked up over 20 years ago.  The majority of LGBT organizations didn't even exist back then, much less support it.  You'll always have some shit outliers, this one cleaned them out instead of just getting shut down by lack of support.

The title of this thread is not highlighting something that happened 20+ years ago, it's that the movements for pedo rights "marches on".

Can you tell us how all the people quoted and involved in this catastrophic gay-nambla cosy relation 20 years ago is not relevant now because you know for a fact they are all dead, with no direct political influence anymore?

"Marches on": in progress. No to be confused with "starting now". No time limits on when the movement started the march, and with whom...

"In progress" would mean they are currently progressing right now, and you brought no proof of that!

Why would anyone defend the rights of adults to abuse children is beyond me.

The same is beyond me, but the fact that nambla exists in the first place shows that there are people that would.  Statistically there's gonna be pedos from every background and orientation.  The church is a great example, I don't say every Christian supports pedophilia because of child porn going around in the Vatican, and it would be looked at as history if 25 years from now the issue is mostly gone except for some Christian people that also happen to be pedos.

I didn't say they were ALL dead, you twisted my words.  Really the march for pedo rights is always going to be attempted by a few crazy fucks that want to be able to get with kids, what matters here is whether there are any signs of success and whether the attempts are in any way associated with LGBT people, in this example.  So back on topic, find some sign that the march is actually doing 'going on' instead of having their feet stuck in the mud.

I'm in North Carolina, and will do $40 shipped anywhere in the US.
247  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Wemo Wifi LED Lighting Starter Kit on: February 18, 2016, 07:56:09 AM
I'll offer $20

Probably too low, but worth a shot these look cool

Smiley

I'll have to decline, was looking for something closer to the $40 range.

249  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Homosexuality is caused by being molested on: February 17, 2016, 12:34:29 PM
God made man and woman so the world can continue to new generations, not come to a halt with gays and lesbians. Anything against God and nature will not sustain and will get wiped out.

Still waiting for god to pop up and start smiting gay people.  And it seems to be doing a pretty good job of sustaining itself since gay people can't procreate, yet they didn't suddenly disappear

But more important than such a situation is that gay persons tend to involve other person which are non gay.
They start to molest & stalk, and follow their person of interest, even for yrs.
They even hate those persons for being attracted by women. Having relationships.
Something which they envy. It is a emotional aspect.
If you mean this by being molested, i would agree.
This totally sucks.

You have to be kidding.  Gay guys have no interest in someone that isn't at least open to experimenting, they want the other person to actually want it.  You're implying that gay people are wannabe rapists which is simply bullshit.

Animals also walk around naked, shit in public, rape each other with no consequences, kill each other without remorse, and eat their own offspring.

So are you saying that it's not wrong for a person to do anything an animal does?

No, but it's a counter to the argument that being gay is caused by (missing male figure, being molested, etc)...

Man, this guy's a fucking moron.  He doesn't even know how to spell Satoshi's name right yet he claims to have been 'in contact' with him and will somehow get his money back.  Sending 15 million without even going to meet with the damn guy to make sure everything's legit..

Karma's a bitch, and I love it.  However, I have to wonder with someone having as much cash as him if he has an ulterior motive to trying to give BTC a bad rep...  maybe he's invested in it going down and trying to make a shitshow while he's still in the news.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ was the top on: February 15, 2016, 07:46:09 PM
i think we can reach $500 at this week Roll Eyes
everyday bitcoin will growing more stonger
That's way too optimistic of a look at the price.  The last times we were heading up we found resistance first at 475, then at 465, and finally at 425.  It's going to take a hell of a lot of work to bust through all of those points, and if we do hit 500 so many people are going to sell their gains as fast as they can.  I think we'll be seeing a nice little price raise through the coming time, but I'm not so sure we'll be heading for anything close to 500 for quite a while.

Well from what we've seen with BTC I think we can't really say that $500 is entirely impossible for the week. Although IMO it's a little bit too soon to be of value, as it might tank immediately.
Impossible is a word I've learned to never use in crypto, but it doesn't seem realistic to predict a price that has multiple large resistance points before it.  If we manage to get there and hold we may as well end up starting the next bubble to 1k
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 will be the bottom on: February 15, 2016, 07:58:41 AM
We may end up bottoming out again in the 375 area, but I don't think we'll be going any lower at this point.  If we manage to break through the resistance at 440 then we're clear for a bubble back up to 500, possibly going much higher.  Long-term we're still in a downtrend since the beginning of the year, but I think this is a good chance to change that.

The price over at Huboi is above $410 now and not showing any signs of stopping.  I think we're getting ready to break through the 400 mark.  Now the question is will we be able to hold it or be taken down by the panic sellers...

i am looking at the charts on https://www.huobi.com/ in the USD spot BTC tab and i don't see above $410 price!
the maximum price was $400 which was reached a couple of hours ago.

It's displaying as 412 on Bitcoinwisdom right now... may be using a different exchange rate.  Google seems to agree that it's over $410

256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia just died on: February 14, 2016, 05:10:22 AM
Typical Republican method, if you can't get things your way screw up the process as bad as you can until you have a chance.  Guess we may more or less have a useless court for a little bit.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: >400$=sell time on: February 14, 2016, 05:08:14 AM

Bitstamp, which is a real exchange btw, seems as if it has hit the roof. Trip to the moon cancelled I guess...

I'd hardly call this looking like it's getting ready to go back down, we've just managed to hit some resistance.  We may end up hovering here for a bit before breaking through it, but for the moment I'm still confident that we will.

I don't consider Chinese exchanges reaching $400 being a cool thing as it doesn't have much value for me. I want Bitfinex and Bitstamp to reach $400.
In the past China has had a huge say in where the global price of BTC goes.  They were the source behind the pump to $1,000+ a few years ago, and will probably be the source behind the next one.  Their trade volume can easily triple ours, so we're the small fish compared to them.
