241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your HODL motivation on: October 02, 2018, 06:09:40 PM
The motivation of HODL, probably and mainly for making some decent profit. Short-term holding because of the sudden transaction need. Holding a coin for the long term will surely help gain a good amount of return, but only if the coin has good potential and good future. No matter what blockchain is the future and good coins will be rewarding.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: October 01, 2018, 05:28:43 PM
I used to believe them, but recently I realized few were paid ones because they flopped completely and couldn't even reach their project soft cap. But mostly the ratings are genuine, good and helpful somewhat. But don't trust them blindly, as I personally believe blindly following tips, advice in this industry/market will make you fall into trouble.
243  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: September 30, 2018, 07:53:16 PM
Securing your wallet should be your first priority, it is very easy to think that you are never going to get hacked and that you're never going to lose your money but it isn't until people get hacked when they realize that the risks of holding cryptocurrencies are real, so do not wait until that happens, you need to be proactive and protect your wallet from the very beginning so you do not lose your coins to a greedy hacker that targets you.

Yup, it is a highly important factor to keep your funds safe. Now many wallets have made 2FA mandatory to just make sure everybody follows at least one security measures for their funds. Otherwise, few of my known ones used to just have a password, that to even a common password. Even 2FA is quite secure even if you keep your password weak unless your friend is a foe. Actually one has to be active and careful in every aspect, many of us unknowingly give information online, through various platforms.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin is Adopted what happen to ilerate population(stone age people) on: September 30, 2018, 03:08:56 PM
Bitcoin, been adopted to that extent is not possible, like it will never replace a fiat of any particular country. The population who is not literate won't face any problem with adoption of crypto. Adoption would only mean it will not be illegal and without any restriction, we can trade it with cryptos and fiat as well. Maybe a tax will be imposed. The government may come up with their own cryptocurrency, but even then physical currency being completely vanished from the society is way too far to experience.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear time is near to end on: September 29, 2018, 07:17:30 PM
Still, it is a totally speculative discussion. Nobody has a clear idea when it is going to end and then the bullish trend will hit the market. But if past records are taken into consideration then I believe there is a possibility, just a possibility to see some good growth in the coming months, but many are predicting $20k, I think it is a tough target to reach this year, though nothing is impossible, October is about to start and there is no sign of any upwards movement, just hovering around $6600.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: September 28, 2018, 06:34:51 PM
According to me, my suggestion would be to buy both Bitcoin and Altcoins. But beware of the altcoins, as not all altcoins would shine even when the market starts to show some good bull run. Bitcoin has to and will show a good run with good profits, but about altcoins, many of them have been shaky since the last fall.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 28, 2018, 11:12:24 AM
Bangladesh has reached Finals of the Asia Cup. It was not expected much that Bangladesh could enters final . But the way they had played and beaten Pakistan seems that they can be tough for the India in finals and make the final more interesting.

What a travesty? Bangladesh would not rank among the top 3 teams in terms of performance in this tournament, and they managed to reach the finals. The format was ridiculous. There was no need for this super-4 crap. Semifinals and then finals would have been much better.

Yup, I agree on the same, the final will be one-sided from the beginning itself. Bangladesh might have given a tough fight but, even their star performer is injured and now he won't be playing. The game can be boring if we don't see some fight for a win. I expected Afghanistan to be in the finals as they played remarkably this tournament and they are a rising threat to top best cricket playing countries.
India has won the Toss and they choose to field first.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ripple cross $5 this year ? on: September 28, 2018, 10:36:49 AM
Maybe $1 or $2 but I don't see it reaching or crossing $5. Ya, it is being pumped, but soon dumping will take place and even if BTC starts to rise like last year, even then Ripple won't reach $5. This is a huge target with current market trends and also considering the fundamental aspect of Ripple, it is not possible until and unless humongous pumping is taken place.
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $6000 to $7000 the stable price for bitcoin? on: September 27, 2018, 03:17:51 PM
For now the answer is yes, but for how long that remains the case is unclear. When futures were introduced they did say that they would kill volatility in bitcoin and for now they're achieving that. A stable price in the long run is a good thing because it makes adoption far more likely. With adoption we may see a far more steady price increase instead of the highly volatile one based purely on speculation.

We may see another speculative upthrust of the crypto market value very soon, but I agree it would have been better if the market grows slowly, steadily and in a proper way. There won't be a stable price but there can be a stable range for a time period and as people adopt it, the market will grow. So for me yes this range seems to be a stable one and I think it's genuine and not a result of any speculative hike.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: September 27, 2018, 09:04:24 AM
Investing in ICOs can be good if only if the project is very good and you are investing it for a long term. At present, the scenario of good ICOs and investors making a profit from ICO is very rare. The market is bearish and other factors playing their role is greatly affecting the market for ICO along with the huge number of fraud and scamming ICO.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you think ICO is necessary? on: September 27, 2018, 07:48:14 AM
I think it does, if the project is of great value then ICO can benefit both the dev as well as the investors. As of now, many ICOs are scamming recently, so it's important for us to be aware and cautious before investing. And not all ICOs are fake, fraudulent so don't stop believing in ICO, because it is a great option to have to know the company and invest in them.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 26, 2018, 06:05:12 PM
Today's match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, Pakistan seems to be in deep trouble after they lost 5 wickets. 21 Overs Left and they need to score 130+ and if they lose one more wicket and if it's Imam then their game will be nearly over. Bangladesh bowlers did some great work. I think we might see India and Bangladesh playing in the final match.
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Three things not to do when Bitcoin prices are down on: September 26, 2018, 05:01:29 PM
Panick sell is the worst thing you can do when price is down.

I think no one can know what is expected for Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. Unlike what a lot of people think December was the best thing ever happened to Bitcoin, since then so many developments started for a better technology and for easier UX; with the purposes of mass adoption.
It's really all about DEVELOPMENT, more things need to come and become better and if everything will go right then Bitcoin can reach 1m easily.
Exactly as it is? Bitcoin will die to $0. But the good thing is that it's always getting improved by protocols and third-party developments.
In my opinion the three things not to do when the price are down are 1. Never sell your coins because due to low price you will lose your money. 2. Don’t be panic and hold your coins till the price rise again. 3. Build your trust and be optimistic about the future of bitcoin or any other currency in which you have invested. Strongly follow these three things.

Rather than not selling when the price is low, I feel it's more important and necessary not to panic as you said later because you may need to sell and then you may sell. But if the investor panics then even if he/she doesn't need to sell, he/she might sell off his holdings.
I would suggest Not to Panic, Diversify or trade to get some other coins which can provide greater return percentage compared to BTC, Be optimistic even if countries are temporarily banning or restricting usage/trade related to cryptocurrencies. And most important, follow your own strategy, don't follow others.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will reach $50k this year as predicted? on: September 26, 2018, 02:02:00 PM
I think that prediction was made long time ago based on a totaly different parameters compared to those that are valid now.
To my opinion it's exaggerated and not realistic that Bitcoin will reach 50000$ this year or any time soon no matter how Bitcoin price can change quickly.
Some growth might happen by the end of the year but I don't think Bitcoin will cross 8000$ or 9000$.

I guess that wasn't a prediction even, most probably a speculative comment or statement. In a market which is so volatile, it was quite obvious the parameters were going to change as well as fast as the market. I agree it won't hit or reach even near to $50K, but I think it has the capability, of course with the help of the whales it will cross $10K mark before the end of this year and might reach near to its all-time high. But I am afraid that it might not cross its all-time high to reach a new high.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: September 25, 2018, 08:03:23 PM
Everyone is expecting India to beat Afghanistan, in part due to latter's poor form during the last two matches. But I am rooting for an Afghanistan win. I know the Indian team very well, and they are likely to take this match very complacently.

India has gone with more than couple of changes in this match as they are considering it as a opportunity to give it to new players. Also Afghanistan played well and set a target of 253 runs for India. India is playing at 141/2 in 25 overs. Should be easy win from here.

It's no more looking like an easy win for India, another batsman just got dismissed and now it's 166 for 4 in almost 31 overs.

The match is now getting quite interesting!

A perfect nail-biting match, I enjoyed it till the end. Afghanistan bowled very well, with slow runs scored by India in the beginning, it was pretty tough for the Indian team to win. In the end, they could have won, if an experienced player was batting. Dhoni was quite annoyed with the runouts and the controversial LBW.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Crypto innovation for you? on: September 25, 2018, 07:41:22 PM
Hats off to the one who found crypto currency. As we say this is Legend Satoshi Nakadomo, lets appreciate every step he has taken in implementing the same. Lots and lots have changed now after crypto currencies have brought in if you look at. Mother of crypto currency the Bitcoin has shown its growth in the market turning everyone towards crypto currencies.

How do you welcome the crypto innovation? How can you describe your experience here?
I do think crypto is the best place to invest right now, there is a lot of option to invest but still crypto is the best. Bitcoin indeed changes how we do transaction and also open a new gate for all new startup to make idea and project based on blockchain technology. I do trust in blockchain technology and im sure in next year or in 2020 blockchain will be massively used by many people.

Blockchain will grow more in few countries than cryptocurrencies. Our country has already appreciated the technology but currently, the fiat-crypto trade is restricted. This technology will bring in new innovations while cryptocurrencies will change the whole financial system.
257  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Careful with Social Media Tips on: September 24, 2018, 06:37:51 PM
Every strategies are fitted on a particular people. It will not suit in everyone because not all have the same strategy. Strategies are based on your own behavior and your own ways to find a good investment and profit. If ever youve seen some advice online, take some ideas on it and try to make your own.

I agree people need to make their own strategy with the advice they get online on social media. But I have seen people providing tips for trading with a time period, that is obviously dangerous, that is completely speculative. Yeah, they do come true, but not all. Later they start to charge people for their tips once they get some followers. I think some of the tips provided are not even eligible to be considered for building a strategy.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Panic Trading! on: September 24, 2018, 05:02:41 PM
Panic trading will be there always, this thing might not be done by all, but in cryptocurrency trading, most of them do so. The market being so volatile sometimes, it's tough to control your emotion, fear being one of the strongest emotion acting here. But this can be curbed if the individual have proper knowledge which kind of help to boost the confidence.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Epic Journey of BTC on: September 24, 2018, 11:31:27 AM
I wish it to be back to moon soon . I will hold it for long and obviously without panicking.
Don't think about the moon, it will be back sometime in the future or maybe for the next months to come. Keep on holding and don't buy those FUDs that are coming in the news and medias, they want you to sell so they can buy those sold bitcoins at a cheaper price so stick to whatever plan you've made as long as you're holding it.

Lol, well said about the media and the FUDs roaming around at the moment. Still sometimes personally I do fear as its kind off semi-restricted in our country to trade fiat-crypto, vice-versa. And about reaching the moon, I guess soon enough we will reach a new high, might be it will take time as you said. This year it's more than enough if it crosses $15k defeating all the negativity, but still, I do feel it will reach or cross $20k as well, but it's just a speculation and an investor thoughts being an investor.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check bounty legit or scam?? on: September 23, 2018, 07:56:47 PM
First of all, the Bounty Manager does play a vital role. Now if the manager is new, then better check the project and the team members and also the viability of the project or business. Assurance of it being successfully reaching the hard cap as set by the dev.
But even after being careful people get scammed, but its not always a scam, like if the project couldn't even reach soft cap, then it's useless to continue the bounty.
