Silly questions but have you tried to reseat the card and really push those PCIe connectors in. Obviously Windows doesn't see the card. If those PCIe connectors aren't snapped in all the way the card may still have the fans spin but it may not be detected or will have an exclamation point in device manager.
While I am a frequent PICNIC problem kind of guy... No not a silly question. Answer is, yes... Fully seated. They slots of the motherboard are different PCIe x16, x8, x4 etc. which should I be using? Does it matter? (PICNIC := Problem In Chair Not In Computer)

Right click on My Computer from under start menu, click manage, click device manager, on the right side window, drop down the display adapter selection. See if your card is listed there. Report back here, go from there.
Negative. Not there. I did try moving it to the same slot as the working card... All good. Hashes at 519kH/s. The old card does not appear. It seems like it only is seeing 1 gpu, no matter what. What motherboard do you have? This guy. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128509There are 5 PCIe slots. I'm using slots (left to right), 2 and 5. I skipped space for cooling reasons.

I've got a miner, currently with one 7970 running at approximately 625kH/s, reasonable heat, reasonable fan-speed. I just purchased a new 7950 card and installed it today. For some reason, I am not able to see it in the drop-down list... I only see the single card. How do I inform the system/cgminer that I have installed a new card? This is the first time I've done an additional card add. It went from the box to the mb - no additional sw or config changes at all yet. What do I need to do? help pls.

Well I lied.
Well, not a lie. Apparently the seller changed their listing. There is only 1.
Carry on. Nothing to see here.

Too hot.
Are you using afterburner? You at 20% power? What hashing speed are you getting there?
You need a fan bro.

For litecoin mining, I know with GPUs it is memory intensive... But HOW intensive?
Given that there are two Gigabyte 7950 models... One with 3G and one with 2G... Will there be any real difference in hashing speeds?
Advice, pls

Is there a way to set up a failover pool with the GUI? I'm impressed with the GUI and would prefer it to the command line, but the only negative seems to be that one is unable to setup failover pools. Of course, it could be me not knowing where to set it.

Running a 6x7950 system for bitcoin with cgminer. Due to the difficulty increase in BTC, it it possible to run multiple instances of cgminer and tie GPU 0,1,2 to BTC and GPU3,4,5 to LTC?
If so... How?
Thanks for thoughts and advice.

Any chance for pre-compiled binaries?
I'm having a hell of a time.
Everything I have is in the links above, links to the source code, link to the -qt I created on my Mac running Lion, and the bytecoind binary that I compiled from the source. Not sure there is anything else, if someone wants to give me the cost of Mountain Lion ( is it mountain Lion you having the trouble on ? ) in bitcoins, I'll go buy it, install it and try and compile one that works on that version ( no guarantees I can get it working though ) Other than that, what problems are you having, share the info, might be able to help... Quite a few errors. Any ideas: http://pastebin.com/Cj50BVbb

Is all the blowjob commentary necessary? Look, I know this is a skeptical bunch... and rightfully so. This space is ripe with scams and it offers HUGE opportunity for scammers. I get that. But, if: - OP will actually use some sort of escrow...
- OP will allow users to see actual product...
- OP will verify identity...
- OP answer the fair questions raised in this thread...
- the website gets updated with real content...
Then we have something. OP, can you commit to those? I'm just saying, can we keep it civil?

Very interested. Very skeptical. Very hopeful.
Will watch closely.

Mining works, but website is down.... :S That's what I thought too, but the website was up for a brief time this morning and NONE of the work I did yesterday showed up. Also zero auto payouts and I have it set to 1LTC, there should have been several by now. It appears to be working fine, but I think the shares are going into the void. Sorry about the late update. We are definitely under DDoS. I had shifted the site away from the DDoS service to see if stales improved and within a few hours we were under attack and down again. The attack caused some crons to fail. The crons lock and unlock as they start and finish so when the ddos interrupted them they stopped running until I manually cleared the locks. Once I did that, all the block payouts caught up and paid out, though because of the ddos, payouts today sucked anyway. I did make some progress today toward shifting to the new server. I think by tomorrow i'll be able to move all the DB services over to it. A couple people have pointed me at the elgius pool software for stratum. It looks promising. I'll give it a whirl soon! Cheers. Sorry to be dense... But why the DDoS? There is always motivation for actions. What is the motivation here?

I use the "--balance --rotate 20" parameter option in CGMiner to mine at 3 pools for 20 minutes an hour. It's also a failover system, if one or two pools go down (ddos?) it chooses the working pool.
TIL, thanks.

That was it!!!!!! It was down the post a bit about pushing the "Power Limit %" up to 20. I did that on Afterburner, and voila - it's rocking 99% solid on both GPU's! No more jumping around. And the hashes are up Awesome! thanks c1010010! Only problem now is the cards are running way hot. From 75C up to 90C+ - yikes! I'll have to play with this power limit and see what I can do. Good deal! Glad I could help. Karma works in mysterious ways. From your later posts, do you suggest going with the Gigabyte tri-fan? Or Saphire? Is there any real difference other than that?
