2401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found two projects claiming to enable running full nodes on mobile phones on: October 27, 2022, 11:04:00 AM
There's no way to mining via phone, phone processor is really low performance except you bought a high end phone that would cost you a lot. But it doesn't make sense to mine a cheap coins with expensive phone, you're wasting your money.
Theres a lot who did that in the past and not succeeded. Actually you got a point if the phone requires to mine such blockchain via phone then a stronger specs is very much needed. Well nothing cheap nowadays but even we buy a cheaper phone, likely the processing would be long unless the blockchain built is really design for that and well compacted in order to get mine.

OP can you name those two? That has potential to mine via phone which still survive up to now.
2402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major Dumps in Bitcoin History and What to learn from there? on: October 27, 2022, 08:13:56 AM
Even though Bitcoin suffer multiple time of major dumps, but Bitcoin always survive and make new ATH for every consecutive 4 years. This mean we should hold our Bitcoin at least 4 years to enjoy the huge return and don't become a weak hand who sell the coins at bear season. Bitcoin will never die and there's no chance for any hacker can hack Bitcoin, this make me very comfortable and secure to hold Bitcoin for long time.
Yes holding is the best way not to lose on cryptocurrency investment. But you should pick good coin like bitcoin. Dying is not an option for bitcoin, hence hacker could literally need a bigger consensus to turn it down. If you bought your bitcoin earlier then nothing to fear if even you didnt sell on last ATH cause you are still have chance to see more than what it did in thebcoming futures and history repeat itself.
2403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100X Altcoin for the next Bull run on: October 27, 2022, 07:39:10 AM
What you mean jobschain? And how could you say it will be the new trend, or maybe like activity to earn like m2e, p2e,  something like that. As you can see the influc of money to these kind of platform go down eversunce the market got hit. Its not surprising, since users are tend to keep their fiat and stables for daily usage and to be safe. But who knows if you are right. But for me, the trigger for the next bull run could be lead still by bitcoin adoption and some metaverse related.
2404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC PUMPED EXACTLY AS PREDICTED! on: October 26, 2022, 02:51:17 PM
Depends on fundamentals too. You see some topics might affect the price tremendously like whales are trying to move it up or down. Or even the feds report that always give us a hell of a movement. So everyone might predict the market, but who can actually foreseen such movement. Even technical analysis sometimes fail.
2405  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: October 26, 2022, 02:29:27 PM
How to find a balance between regulation and the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin) and is it possible? What will the industry look like in 10 years in terms of regulation and KYC?
Thats gonna be hard. Let just say decentralized are in favor of some especially the scammers, hackers and many thieves. Who keep jumping from ship to ship just to ransack money from people. Its something the government cannot tolerate. On the otherhand, even though the government has all authority on such regulation, being on centralized compromised corruption since it cant be held transparently which is also bad.

Not sure how to balance this cause both sides have their own pros and cons.
2406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 26, 2022, 12:44:00 PM
Plus it is not entirely free because you did some task to be rewarded.
As long as you didnt pay any money at all thats free. If you did some minimal or very short limited time for that then it still free. What you are saying is that is not should be the case? Like everyone deserved some compensation. Some of those projects are doing this for promotions and thats totally depend on them either they reward users who participate or not.
2407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's up with ranking on: October 26, 2022, 12:13:49 PM
The rank system is a good indicator to assess at a glance what the probability is that the user knows what he is talking about. But in most cases, the rank just shows activity on this particular forum. And how long the participant has been registered.
Maybe you are right. Activity is also needed in order to rank up, but you forgot to mention the important thing which is merit. Even though though you have necessary activity for the next rank, but your merit isnt enough yet then you wouldnt rank up yet. Its also about merit to avoid this easy ranking up lile before. Its also an indicator for someone to see how useful and quality the post of some users.
2408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Trust wallet and is it safe? on: October 26, 2022, 07:28:36 AM
Just dont use trustwallet for storing big amount of valuable tokens to avoid being on danger from potential breach or hack.

It maybe famous and popular but its always better to be safe than sorry right? Before I hold some of the tokens here but with careful analysis of the source then its good that we do know what could happen if worse comes to worse.
2409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I like a post/comment on: October 26, 2022, 07:01:35 AM
There are some posts and comments I like to "like" but I don't know how to do it. Some comments that I see in my posts are educative and I want to like it but I don't know how to do it. So what will I do to like a post/comment which I like?
Theres no like button here in forum, Its not like facebook or instagram. The forum is a hub for discussion and only merit is can be given on the post you like.

Btw merit can be receive if you have some quality or helpful post that like by others.

I think you should study first about the forum so you could know more about it. Try to read first all the pinned message here on Beginners and Help Section.
2410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2022, 01:10:20 PM
I don't expect anyone could reply in this manner or are you saying Bitcoin does not have any benefits?
Im saying China doesnt have interest on crypto. I didnt say bitcoin dont have any benefits. If they wanted to be out of crypto then can we do something about it? Im not sure if its right to let them agree on what the general wants. Its their right as well if they dont want it. But if you disagree then you are not respecting the term decentralized over their decision.
2411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think China will lose by banning Bitcoin? on: October 25, 2022, 07:05:51 AM
They lose nothing. Its their prerogative to initiate use of crypto but since they do not want to associate their people with it means they are not interested. Knowing China, that almost associated with everything is something confusing. A blockchain idea is really good and Im not sure why they are hating it. Maybe because they not surr if they gain something worth here.

Chinese community love making money, so im sure their Government is thinking the same. Or they have ulterior motives for that industry.
2412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find squid coin users? on: October 25, 2022, 04:56:54 AM
Please can you help me to find out how to contact squid coin users? I am struggling to find anyone to fill out my survey. Thankyou very much.
Really shocking that there is someone who do like this kind of survey. But OP, I think you could try to go on their official website and join their socials. But I doubt that these users will still be active for example on telegram. Probably these member there are now just bots keep spamming. Its a dead coin that has been used for pump and dump so I guess its not that worthy anymore. But for the sake of your survey then go for it.
2413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Early Is It Now, For Those Who Missed Bitcoin In Its Early Days? on: October 25, 2022, 04:19:03 AM
Likewise, I think that, as these times have not changed, those who believe in alternative coins will also be disappointed very soon, and ultimately understand the value and correctness of investing in bitcoin.
You just need to give such people time. They will wake up.
Im an altcoin enthusiast and bitcoin investor too. We cant weigh the gravity of effectiveness at one source. Yes bitcoin could be the best option, but we cant turn down potential of alts when the bitcoin market goes back once again. If we are talking about great multiplier, at the current market then alts will be the best move here. Provided that you are into right one.

These profits from altcoin are safely converted into bitcoin in the longer period. Anyway just my thought.
2414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What possible reasons made Satoshi bow out from the crypto scene?? on: October 24, 2022, 07:56:13 AM
Possibly protection to himself. He already knew that series of development and progress of btc will be a threat level to some business and government. If you are the founder then likely you are at risk to some of these people. Also theres an cia scene that could result to a more complicated results connecting him. For me its a good riddance for him to stay hidden and totally anonymous for his safety too. Though everyone are eagerly wanted to meet and know him.
2415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 24, 2022, 03:40:25 AM
most of those testnet they run will somehow requested to make a some Minimal deposit to carry out the test of which I know most of you won't like to risk a dime from your ends.
Minimal deposit? Ive done more than 10 and I could say that I didnt spend on any fees or deposit since its just a testnet. You might be thinking of a retroactive airdrop instead since you mentioned deposit.

Testnet are typically used test coin too or those without value, they gonna give you tokens or faucet for that then test it to do trading, swapping, lending and etc any means to try out the platform.
2416  Other / Off-topic / Re: What about a smartphone keyboard on: October 24, 2022, 02:18:29 AM
My question have been answered before about Keylogger and Clipboard hacks, they are 100%  real but every comments I read are talking about computers/PC only, can these hacks happen on a mobile smartphone too? Android phones to be precise.
Yes, I have friend with a case that when he copied his ronin wallet(axie infinity wallet) the address that been copied is exactly identical to his but to his surprise there is a few changes at the end of his wallet which means theres a malware infected on his cellphone. It did happened also on other users, so those scammers are literally good at spreading those infected files. Not sure how, but of course there is something related to download.
2417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn aside from bounty campaign and airdrop on: October 23, 2022, 03:32:14 AM
how these test works?I mean what kind of activities are required? what software/wallet I need to use?
why you talk about a risk approach? there is the risk to pay some fees and get nothing as reward? (likewise some ICO in the past that was requiring small amount of ETH just to not send nothing really valuable?) or just to get involved in some contract that could drain out tokens from wallet?
Its like doing a defi product with using testnet tokens for example ropsten network, zksync testnet tokens, some fo these projects have own testnet and youll use that to interact on their sites. Regarding software or wallet. Mostly used their own and as much as I remember its free. If I remember correctly almost all of on my list are no need to pay any gas fee but only needed to use testnet tokens for the task.

Yes, youll likely do some interactions and some transaction but only using testnet not mainnet. Thats why even though its a testnet, I remind or put reminder to at least use new wallets if its on eth, or whatever network its gonna ask you to use.

Example this ragnar protocol check out the instruction.

If you don’t mind. Can you share your source on where do you get this project? Is there any website that collects all the upcoming blockchain project and offer testnet with rewards?
Hello there, aside from forum I am quite active on checking whats new on twitter. Usually I just type Testnet from day to day and found out some projects that are popping on the feed. Also some have even tutorials on how to do these testnet. Also Im not even sure if there are sure rewards for testnet but having an announcement on discord or their social means a good news right.

Thanks for the list! I hope that you will consistently update it and please include the official link just to make sure we are dealing with the right project.
Hey maybe I could update the thread from time to time if theres a new one. Regarding the links, maybe a good idea to include links. Anyway will try that out.
2420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How was first Bitcoin purchased and who provided the first liquidity for Bitcoin on: October 22, 2022, 12:19:00 PM
This does not mean that someone has not done it before through p2p, but this event is still officially recorded.
Actually it might have a chance too however everyone believe it is the Lazio deal on pizza. But its really crazy that bitcoin is only worth a $ before. It seems some early did a good fortune on it. Early bird really catches the worm.
