1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feedback on Portfolio on: May 19, 2023, 03:17:51 PM
I was wondering how people go about getting feedback on their portfolios? Do you just have discussion with friends/ colleagues?
Personally I am not gonna show off or discuss my portfolio to some of my colleague cause its a privacy to keep your asset to yourself instead of telling it to other people and also its a security we need to keep in order for us to be safe. Its not that we arent open but this kind of things must be kept privately.
1522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Recover ETH from a unavaiable DEX exchange on: May 19, 2023, 01:39:58 PM
some years ago i was using Saturn protocol exchange, a dex exchange on ETH BC. unfortunately they have closed they'r server and platform is unavaiable.
Unfortunately a close platform possibly will impossible to recover funds. Im sure they did announce that they will close it and they have given time to let someone to withdraw of your asset before they officially down the server if not you could file some charges unless they are fully a dex platform without any offices or contacts.
1523  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is the best investment nowadays anyone guide me on: May 19, 2023, 12:18:48 PM
Hi, I start learning cryptocurrency nowadays everywhere in the field of life like the technology boom has come and also in crypto filed but everyone asks in tiktok join group in some fees for signals. I want to start learning and earning anyone guides on how to do it without any investment and how to start earning from Bitcointalk?
what is the best way to learn from a YouTube channel or Group for free please mentioned the names helping to start earning.
Its quite a shame to join some group signal now especiallt foe newbie. People are gonna milk money out of your pocket just to gain something in return that has not been guaranteed. Most of them are just giving you off some lousy chart and copy cat gain photos which arent from them. As a newbie you should be focusing more on learning here in forum and avoid such shortcut to earn bitcoin easily. There is no way to earn that fast aside from learning to understanding it first.
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Casper (CSPR) worth an investment? on: May 19, 2023, 10:38:24 AM
Well 10,000 CSPR would be a good bag and that would currently cost $470.

So no more than $500 should get me 10,000 and I would look at reaching that amount through DCA not a one off investment.
Casper is a coinlist project and one of the heavily invested last bull run but since its down by a lot. I think doing dca with that ia also cool. But In terms of developement I think they are quiet among it on social media. More hypes are garnering on memecoins and new L2 like arbitrum, optimistic, zksync and other resurface projects. Mostly other chains are being neglected due to memecoin hype and more people are swarming in than investing on a good one like L1 or casper itself.
1525  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which is more lucrative between mining and trading bitcoins? on: May 19, 2023, 10:08:35 AM
Are there other Bitcoin endeavours one could be interested and invested in, other than trading and mining?
Im not sure how aside from this would you make profits in bitcoin. Here in forum some are being incentivized  bitcoin through signature campaign and sometimes raffle or any form of games. But doing trading is a gamble unless you know how to deal with charts and indicators of trading but still its not guaranteed. While in terms of mining, based on what I read from experience miners, their profit is not huge and especially if its conaumption is quite high on electricity. Maybe on some countries that have free electricity this is very profitable but only few areas or countries have that kind of privilege. The best one to gain profit is investment. Buy bitcoin at some point and forget about it. See it for like few years and boom. Who knows how much profit you already made.
1526  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What was your biggest fear with starting in crypto? on: May 18, 2023, 08:11:13 PM
Genuinely want to know what prevents your friends/gf/ colleagues from investing? Did you have any barriers when you first started?
Barrier none. When I first embarked with crypto and bitcoin, I am full of curiosity and that not stop me from learning it up to this day. Some of my friends are bit hesitant about that and obviously due to lack of knowledge about it. But I did introduced to them properly and some believed me. But due to experiece on bear market many have been discouraged and felt neglected about it. Though Im still incline to some of them.
1527  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Overcoming my fear of bitcoin and online businesses on: May 18, 2023, 01:19:57 PM
My observation so far in the few weeks that I have spent in bitcointalk, I have noticed that there is willingness by senior members to give directions and corrections to newbies who seek it. I hope to be teaching newbies too one day. Any more advice by members on how to increase my confidence level and learning will be humbly received by me.
That was a nice shared experience by you. Yes there are plenty of people who can guide you here to understand more bitcoin and other widen scope of cryptocurrency. Dont skip the learning method as it will be useful to you when you become more affiliaite or expose to bitcoin. Confidence is something we have on our self but you are right there we only need to be normal when we teach others. Dont so overconfident about some topics cause someone might have known the real answer.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 18, 2023, 11:40:48 AM
I think the meme hype is over. Fees are lower and don’t see these meme tokens hitting ATH anytime soon.
Fairly it go down. But Im sure once another meme coins show up and disturb again the network there would be another cause of high usage. Memecoin are will always be present sometime it become a dull moment cause not all meme are gonna do what shib, pepe, wojak, and any other shitcoins out there are doing in terms of performance. Mostly died out after few days, weeks and months.

1530  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Big secret you wouldn't be told on: May 17, 2023, 05:51:31 PM
Itts easy to find a coin that will launch, this could either make you gain or loss. So you need to pick a better one cause not all that buying presale price always win. Only the project that has a potential or have some charismatic approach to the community will prevail and do a 5x 10x or more. If you are comparing that to pepe coin then some are investing a lot on different memecoins and out of 10 maybe 1 or 2 projects only give huge profits. Its like you need to sacrifice 8 projects to know which one is gonna gave you a decent one.
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 17, 2023, 11:14:43 AM
If you guys have more to add, feel free to post them it
Thats a nice precautions dude. I would like to add this very useful product of defi project.

https://de.fi/scanner

You just need to input the contract address of the project and they show the potential threat of a new project. Upon clicking different contract interactions or malicious from the contract can be seen and they have a score for that to know either the project is safe and has no threat like being a honeypot.

Ive been using this as a reference whenever I am apeing some memecoins on bsc, eth and any L1. Mostly they support other projects already.
1532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHAT OPPORTUNITIES DOES CRYPTOCURRENCY AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY OFFER? on: May 17, 2023, 09:45:29 AM
Nevertheless, I believe there should be more ways one can find opportunities of making money from blockchain technology in general; this is the reason for this thread. Kindly, give recommendations as to how one or what one can do to make income (passive or active) from cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
In terms of current standing of the market. Trading is the most or fastest way in my opinion. Since you could barely take advantage of the volatility when doing trade daily. Passive income in crypto is quite a myth, but if you want a passive generation of it, then try staking which same with using your bank but with a higher interest. But for that you also have some risk of devalue your asset for holding unless you are ataking a stabelcoin which hold 4 to 10% income on different platform. But still low to have a profit passive income due to inflation.
1533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One beauty of heirachy in Bitcoin forum. on: May 17, 2023, 09:30:48 AM
Do ranks actually mean anything tho? I’m in the earliest ranks and I see a lot of high ranks who don’t seem to have any idea about even the basic stuff about Bitcoin. They just post to.. post or to pass time I guess? And then I see some new members who seem to know so much that you’d think they worked with Satoshi behind the scenes for a decade..
Well for some it matters like OP. But the truth is it isnt important at all when it comes to discussion. But since there is a hierarchy here that means its become a strong criteria if you are good in discussion or not. Why? Cause there is a merit application to those who done good or witty post. More users doesnt mind that but for others we can feel it is. Thats a shame that some high rank disregard some lower rank cause of their knowledge here. But you can noticed some that are really helpful.

Signature campaign matters when it comes to hierarchy but thats not the purpose of this forum but a certain privilege to some who really contributing useful discussion and topics.
1534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is importance of old bitcoins that woke up and moved in 2023? on: May 17, 2023, 07:21:58 AM
I don't think those old bitcoins are enough to dump the market. Those coins and movements only cause uncertainty and affect people with weak mentality.

Please share your opinion.
We are not sure since there are some big holders from old wallets and these are probably due for a dump since their considerable profits are so immense. Yes these movement could really affect the community or panic due to the possible dump but whatever the case, it can happened and we should be ready. But bitcoin is the largest coin out there and theres a lot of volume so even with dump market I think it can be nothing.
1535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How old are you now in bitcoin investment? on: May 16, 2023, 12:57:30 PM
When did you start your bitcoin investment? Some people are now grandpa's in bitcoin community. Although it doesn't really matter when you heard about bitcoin, but what you've achieved through bitcoin. Is bitcoin helpful to you all this while? Or you've quit from bitcoin as a result of ugly experience? Let's discuss
5 to 6 yrs and I must say thats one hell of a ride. If only I have a lot of funds before during that time I was learning bitcoin then I probably ape in knowing how great it would run during the last bull run. But its fine since I think I did learn a lot from that and I might be able to use that when the next bull arrive. One thing is for sure, take profit and dont regret if thats exceeded your possible or expected gains. Sometimes we should be contented on what we earned and dont be greedy.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ultimate Meme Coin is Here Sheep coin Launching soon on: May 16, 2023, 09:30:12 AM
Don't miss out on this opportunity to be a part of the next big thing in crypto. Join the Sheep Coin community today and start earning rewards for your creativity!
Ive seen like same project on twitter its not gonna be the same as Pepe. If somethinf break out we are gonna be familiair with it isnt it. I should have seen this already on Twitter or famous socials but turns out it didnt so theres nothing special on this memecoin. Or am I wrong?

With a lots of hyp around meme, something should be unique and ears catching projects.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MicroCap buying "technique" !!??!! on: May 16, 2023, 06:53:38 AM
Since I bought it's dropped by 50%  ...... so my question is when you buy a microcap moonshot do you place a stop loss to try and get it cheaper if the price drops significantly or do you simply buy and hold in the hope/belief it will make significant gains come the bull run.
Buy and hold I guess. Unless you have more funds to buy another dip. Plus if you do it, make sure that the project is worth bought up cause if not you are just catching some falling knives instead to take advantage of the low dip youll just get toast more.
1538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I accumulate bitcoin as a newbie? on: May 16, 2023, 01:34:10 AM
No there are other options to earn bitcoin without spending any amount. And that are joining some free airdrops although this is not 100% sure that you can earn but at least you have a chance to gain for free if there is a legitimate platform will pay to its early bird users.
Yes theres an airdrop of bitcoin here? But I did mentioned some raffles. Most airdrops are earned in altcoins well if they earned those tokens they could trade that into stables and convert to bitcoin. Im sure some are doing this like me. Can you share some airdrops of bitcoin you said? Aside from the 2009 or 2010 free bitcoin like before when downloading their software. Surely OP talks about the time now.
1539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am confused !!!! on: May 15, 2023, 02:47:46 PM
Good day to you all, I am new here and I will like to get your advice, apart from bitcoin,do you think that there is a high possibilities of making profit from other altcoins.
Yes there are plenty of choices on the altcoin space that might give you profits. But make sure you are doing a due diligence with those alts cause some are money grab and if you havent experience trading some tokens especially new one then you might loss a lot of money. I think focus on major altcoins so that you might not be scared of being burn. Pick a low to mod marketcap and has a good platform and product.
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on potential portfolio on: May 15, 2023, 08:59:50 AM
Probably to spread your egg on different basket. Some will argue to focus on bitcoin but if we talk about investment gaving different choices is much better cause well have choice to pick which one is bettet and possiblt chance to make it on bull run season. If you focus on btc alonex then your profits are possibly calculated. But its a different story when we talk about alt projects.
