I thought there was a restriction still as this is the first post it has let me submit. Tried posting in a thread for dragons tale but it said I was "posting too quickly wait 300 sec" then after that amount of time it still said same thing....

Same with search " searching too quickly wait 120 sec" and when I got those nnoties, it was my first attempt at either..

Actions like logging in or searching will reset the timer.
So, after logging in, you need to wait 360 seconds to make your post. And if you have done a search, wait for another 360 seconds then.

That time limit will be much shorter when you get 15 activity.
2422  Economy / Services / Re: Make Easy Btc By Selling Me Member Activity OR Junior Member (46+) Accounts on: January 27, 2014, 09:32:08 PM
You won't get much business with the low price 0.005BTC.
Forget about it, and register your own accounts.

I understand, what would be a 'fair' price for you?

I have made a reply in your thread in the newbie section.

I just re-post it here.

But for how much BTC?
0.005BTC for an account is what I am offering.

Really ? Just sell the signature here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=432705.0 and that members acc already get 0.0065 BTC every week

lol.
Option 1: Sell you the account to get 0.005 btc.
Option 2: Get the sig and get 0.0065 btc EVERY WEEK.

2424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty level predictions - is mining toast - Is everyone heading into war on: January 27, 2014, 09:23:17 PM
I dont think you CAN get ROI..
After mining for about a week at a decent speed, I'm starting to seriously doubt I'll ever make ROI. The difficulty just keeps rising...even without the new generation miners. That 3 billion difficulty mark is almost assured by the end of February. Even 2 TH/s rigs are going to be challenged. The whole concept of mining is very tempting, but unless you get your miner for free, or very very cheap...it'll never pay off. The market moves far too quickly to keep up.

Yup.
Before buying the hardware, people should really check the profitability (there are tons of profit calculator out there), and take the uprising difficulty and electricity cost into consideration.

Gmail 2 way comm seems exploited. I heard another story at cloudflare owner had his account under gmail 2 way comm passed.

Do you have a link for this?
2426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie restriction on: January 27, 2014, 09:11:18 PM
I want a custom title that says shibe rather than newbie.

Then you'll need to donate 50BTC I think.

Don't you think that the donation price should be lowered because of the amount Bitcoin is now.

I think the donation price is 10BTC actually, but yeah, that's a lot.

Edit: It's both:
Quote
If you donate 10 BTC, you can get a special "Donator" title and a green "who's online" color. If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status and the ability to create a custom title for yourself
.

FYI: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38071.msg1680125#msg1680125
Theymos made it clear the price will not be dropped.

I said a long time ago that the prices would remain the same, so I can't change this policy now in any case.

Quote
Are the new ranks' price going to be variable or adjusted every x days or months depending on BTC price?

Maybe. I haven't thought about it much yet. The forum doesn't need donations, so I'm not going to create another donator level soon.

2428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet - Chesimangia on: January 27, 2014, 08:56:02 PM
I create a site to share the knowledge of BitCoin helping people to have some money in their wallet just for free.
Please visit and share my faucet.
from 1 to 500 Satoshi every 5 mins just completing a Captcha

Thank you
http://www.chesimangia.it/microfaucet

Hmm..every 5 minutes?
IMO, you will get more traffic if users can get a larger payment every 30 minutes.
2429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptsy - confirmation email problem on: January 27, 2014, 08:51:58 PM
Hi. Sorry for duplicate post, but I did not get any help for previous one so far. Maybe I posted it in wrong place, so I am posting it again here.

Hello

I've got a problem with withdrawal from Cryptsy. Can you help me?
The problem is that it requires E-mail confirmation for withdrawal but I have no longer access to the mail I entered during the registration. I am not even sure if it still exists. What should I do?

Do transfers to another Cryptsy account require E-mail confirmation too?

Only the support there can help you in this case.

Just an update, Charlie Shrem, Bitinstant CEO, was arrested yesterday (Sunday 1/26/14).  The Bitinstant website is now completely blank.

Guess we will not see the relaunch then. Tongue
2431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to post on: January 27, 2014, 08:44:19 PM
yes a bunch of rules for newbies are really fucked up on this site.. I had account before and for some reason I can not login to it now, so I had to open new one.. and now I have to struggle my ass off to be able to send a message to the guy that is doing some bullshit with his bitcoin business against the whole community, without being able to let the community know about it.. not gonna look in here, so if you want to tell me something, send a priv mess..

There is NO newbie restriction now. Do you copy?
If you want to make a post or send a massage to some guy, just wait for 6 minutes after logging in and do so.

2433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do free faucets pay ? on: January 27, 2014, 07:52:23 PM
Bitcoin faucet is highly profitable and that is not insane to use them
bitcoin faucet is never been a highly profitable because its usually works for only newbies and now too many faucets also dead

Higher profitable for the site owner maybe...
2434  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do free faucets pay ? on: January 27, 2014, 07:48:52 PM
How much can you earn from faucets?

I did an experiment on faucets for about a month. Since I'm online most of the day anyway, I tested it out whenever I got a chance to waste some time. And it was time wasted indeed. After using various faucets and filling out countless captchas for about a month I made around .60 USD.

Definitely only worth it for the faucet owners making money from ads.

I think you answered your own question here. Not very much haha. They're a complete waste of time.

Thats a good question, I mean I`d assume its from google ads.

But also referring to other sites as well, so referral commissions add up as well.

Yeah, their money comes from ad hits etc.

I think the best way to earn Free BTC is Follow hilariousandco. Whenever and wherever he posts, post against that. You will get signature payment.  Wink

Very true lol.
It will be way way way better than faucet payments. Cheesy
2435  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to post on: January 27, 2014, 07:42:57 PM

What do you mean?
There is no newbie restriction now.
Just wait 6 minutes after registering your account, you can already make a post anywhere as you like.
2436  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay Invoice Expired - Help on: January 27, 2014, 07:40:42 PM

I'm not sure... but it's never a good idea to use an exchange as a wallet,

meaning don't use it to make payments.

Exactly.
Don't use an exchange to make on-chain betting as well. You are guaranteed to lose the bets.

I write a weekly BTC analysis column at commodityblog. Given it's an important time for the Bitcoin markets and Bitcoin as a whole, I thought I might share my opinion and analysis to everyone here, I'm sure it might help some of you.
This is my latest http://www.commodityblog.com/btc-technicals-january-27th-2014/

I've been actively contributing to reddit for a while now, and I thought I should do so here also.

Any and all comments and discussion on my the blog, my opinions and analysis are welcome. Thanks!

What do you mean by "the January 31st Deadline"?
Care to explain a little bit?
2440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange arbitrage? on: January 27, 2014, 07:23:33 PM
Because you will probably end up losing money than gaining money, when you cannot get the money off of gox

Got it.  I assume this is also why their price is so much higher than everyone else?   The price is artificial due to people not being able to get the cash out?

Exactly.

You can get money out.  It just takes awhile and is kind of expensive.

You need to wait for months to get the withdrawal, instead of a while.
