1522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm not a noob! What happend to the get out of jail thread? on: February 05, 2014, 05:02:28 PM
From what I have learned, that old newbie restriction has been lifted.

I should say, welcome back! rather than welcome aboard!

Ok, great now I feel like an idiot.  Smiley
It must've happened during one of my 3-6 month forum vacations I had to take when working on projects where I was contractually required to be silent on the forums.
Thanks for the heads up!

Yup, the newbie restrictions were lifted on Jan 20.

Just change your password to something incredibly secure. Account aren't deleted.

I want this because of my user name I used here.

Could you rename it to a random string of characters/numbers, so nobody can find this account through the username, please?

FYR: Possible to have username changed?

TL;DR: No one will change it for you, unless you pay 50BTC to be a VIP Smiley
1524  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A QUICK READ OF THE NEWBIE README on: February 05, 2014, 04:55:55 PM

are you sure activity is updated every 30 mins .. because i don't think so.. atleast not for newbie member..!

You can only get a max 14 activity every two weeks. Not sure what the 30 minutes means.
DONE
grt can you also add the time limits members has to face like as a newbie i must wait 360secs before posting a new comment.. ! what is the time limit for jr. members , members nd others..?

You can find it here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.msg4131557#msg4131557

What are the time limits on posting and the levels??
I know 360 seconds are for new people like me, but was wondering if there was break down somewhere on this.

Code:
waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

I would rather play some bets directly.  Wink

NXT its not pump and dump, it is very legit. Very skilled people behind it! Tongue

The programmers may be skilled, but the coin can still be used for bump and dump.

1528  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: CPU MIning on: February 05, 2014, 04:43:34 PM
For example I sold a lot of PRT few days ago, mined from my dedicated servers, was at ~0.00000300, now the price is 0.00000201 at CoinedUp.com

Maybe you looked at it wrongly. The price could be dropping because you have sold A LOT OF coin lol.

Hello,

I have been waiting some weeks before I post again about the mining contracts.

Many many not to say everybody said bad things about this business model.

I just want to show the real numbers

E-Pickaxe customers of first batch payed u$s 42 per GH and 7 weeks after starting the mining process they made u$s 47.86 per GH.

In 6 weeks they recover the investment.

Regards

TMC

Search the forum , cause there are lots of people who tell a different story.
Oh , well , advertising your business , but you could go and reply to people accusing you of not receiving anything

I did it and finally not even  one was a real customer of any mining contractor.

I

hm...so all those making a complain about your site are not real customers, and only those receiving payment are real customers?

That sounds weird....
1533  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did my bitcoins stuck on MtGox :( ? on: February 05, 2014, 04:32:10 PM
I just created an MtGox account, made the deposit of 2.47BTC !!! and red that for withdrawal (even in BTC, even for BTC deposits) i need to have my account verified.

I submitted DL, but for proof of address they need to wait till tomorrow.

I've red that account verification sometimes can take 30 days and more.

Did I lost control of my bitcoins for verification period?

I wrote to support asking about reversing transaction... can they do this for me? I have bad feelings Sad

I won't even sleep without control. Shit, it's all my money, I hope price will stand at current level Sad(((

I'm a newbie in bitcoins, but situations like that making me too nervous, bitcoins are for rich people only.

You need to complete the whole ID verification process in order to get back your bitcoin.
There is nothing you can do now, but wait patiently.

The verification process could take weeks, while people have been waiting for months after verified to get their USD withdrawals. So, you may want to think twice before selling your bitcoin.  Wink
1534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free BTC Giveaways on Bitcointalk on: February 05, 2014, 04:28:02 PM
And in ice-dice its not really the usual giveaway because you have 1 in 1000 chance that you can cashout the btc.

OP did mention "Withdrawals: Only after wagering 1.5 btc total" for ice-dice.
1535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: TechnoCashier.com-Buy/Sell/Exchange bitcoin,Litecoin,Ripple,PerfectMoney,paypal on: February 05, 2014, 04:25:46 PM
give me a feedback.

OP will not give you any feedback.
Check his profile and you will find "Last Active: November 17, 2013, 12:14:03 PM" lol.

He hasn't logged in for almost 3 months, and I don't think he will come back anymore. Wink

lol.
It seems OP comes back to bitcointalk after 2.5 months for you, bitbd83 Smiley
1536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: noob trying to mine on: February 05, 2014, 04:24:05 PM
trying to get involved in bitcoin and altcoins. If I mine what coin should I mine?

Depends on what you have.
If you have an ASIC, just join any bitcoin pool and mine bitcoin.
If you have a high-end AMD/ATI graphics card, you may join multipool to mine the most profitable scrypt coin.
1537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Klodike K16 up to 7GH? on: February 05, 2014, 04:18:32 PM
Did a search for you, and found this following thread.

try adding --klondike-options 350:65 to your .bat file. I use this for all 3 of my Klondike K16's and I get 5.5-5.6Gh/s each. If you need more help let me know.

thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to try it
No problem. I let mine run at that speed for a week and they ran stable so I bumped it up to 360:65 and pointed a box fan at the back to help with cooling, now all 3 together avg 17.05Gh/s.

Maybe you can try to use --klondike-options 360:65 and hopefully you will get ~5.7GH/s.

1539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2000 satoshi per day site faucet on: February 05, 2014, 04:13:59 PM
well bouncing around the net looking for the best faucets i came across this one http://freebitcoinz.com/r/coins  they give 2000 satoshi per day (way more than normal) so that's 20,000 satoshi in 10 days, so if you're a newbie interested in bitcoins and want a few to play around with, it might be a good idea to check out here
that means ~1$ in 50days

Which translated as "not worth the time"...
1540  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Different coin prices on different exchanges = profit? on: February 05, 2014, 04:09:32 PM
If such arbitrage strategy is doable, people would have done it again and again, and the price should have been converged (small difference only due to withdrawal fee and exchange rate spread).

So, when you see some big difference in price, either you are the smartest people on Earth, or it is not feasible.  Cheesy
