2441  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 Sales open] Price changes daily, now 0.918 BTC for 180GH/s on: March 24, 2014, 08:36:48 PM
Oh yes and in case anyone is wondering, the package value was $124. I paid €50,40 for customs (the Netherlands).

They started again with low declarations? Bitmain, i love you!

No they haven't, the odd one seems to get through. UPS is still hitting for $500+ value
2442  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1TH/s + MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: March 24, 2014, 05:50:23 PM
Quick Update

I am awaiting stock to arrive in the UK and there is a delay of around 5 days.  As soon as I have a tracking number, I will open the doors on mininghardware.co.uk to place your orders..

Please bare with me.

That was 4 days ago, if you don't have a tracking number now I doubt its going to arrive tommorow. Wink

Ordered Friday, still showing as unshipped but arrived today (UK)

Just wondering FaxFan how much did you pay for customs fee ?

Cheers

You should calculate that they will declare the full value for customs, its hit and miss whether they do or not, many are definitely arriving with $500+ value which you will pay 20% VAT plus a Ģ11 handling fee if they come via UPS.
2445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 24, 2014, 11:59:48 AM
Do you have a private mine with your own equipment, built for your mine for you and your company and its Venture Capital investors?
We currently don't have a farm. Our data center is solely for hosting our customers units.
We don't have plan to have a farm during 2014.
We want to concentrate on building and selling the best mining machines, not operate farms.
Clear enough ?

Perfectly, thank you.

Please understand, there have been a lot of people burned by vague wordings in the past on TOS, company promises etc. I wasn't attacking you just trying to get a specific clear response.

Although I also understand that one persons response in a forum is not company policy and that I personally won't hold you to it, there are some that might however Smiley
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 24, 2014, 11:54:43 AM
But you do have a farm, just not clients units?
Donīt lie  Smiley

Again, the hosting capabilities that we have are intended for the hosted plans, which we are going to introduce shortly.

Which doesn't answer the question.

Do you have a private mine with your own equipment, built for your mine for you and your company and its Venture Capital investors?

I do not understand why you justify them? They do not fulfill their obligations. The site says that everything is tracked through your personal account. Currently there status has not been sent. Halter trust comment from the same user as I have no. Bitman himself did not give their comments. Outputting nobody do nothing to me sent.

People "justify them" because if you read back through this thread all 4000 entries of it, 90% of it is people complaining about the fact that the web page hasn't updated and they haven't had tracking numbers, everyone telling them that its normal, that thats how Bitmain rolls, then a few days later they post that they recieved their miners and they are sorry they got in a strop and threw their toys out of the pram and that they should have listened to everyone else.

Its understandable to be anxious. Its just par for the course, and there are thousands of people who have purchased many thousands of miners between them that are experienced in the process.

There are only a handful of situations where people didn't get what they wanted, just send polite emails to info@bitmaintech.com and use words like please, thank you, order number, blockchain tracking link, maybe a copy of your order confirmation etc. They do respond sometimes, sometimes they just update the site instead and get on with boxing up and shipping miners.
2448  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 28nm ** 1T ** 900W【JingTian miner】 in production !!! on: March 23, 2014, 03:00:24 PM
What I am confused about and maybe it is my ignorance or you alls, but I thought this was about a new product to sell not show off about our farm.  Then you all tell us how you alls clone is better than everyone else's.

Am I wrong at guessing since the only few units in the wild came to Sky (who I thought owned the company at first) in the USA.  Then ckolivas (sp?) got his to tweek their mcu design in cgminer but his is currently off getting the PSU setup fixed.

I think a lot of people want to know is are you all going to sell anything or just wave your e-peen about a machine you make in your own factory?

Maybe he's just here to try and stop people buying other miners while he builds his farm. Wouldn't be the first time.

Anyone knows how to connect the web interface of the ants to a domain ie: ant.mydomain.com

Uh yeah same way you would with any other device. You need access to the domain server records and just create an A record with the IP of the device.

Ok so if they are all on the same network router, would i have to set a different port for each?

Whatever you are planning, don't even think about opening ports up through your router to the miners on your network. Not only will your miners be compromised, your entire internal network will as well.

Minimum you want to do is use a VPN into your network and manage your miners that way.
I think you can use NO-IP.org. I use them for internet access to myIP cameras at home

Guys, these miners are not designed to be out on the open internet for anyone to access. There is no reason for them to be, you are just asking for trouble.
2454  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: March 21, 2014, 06:55:59 PM

maybe you should...

you made several orders, paid 0.002BTC (just more than $1), and then griped about it for weeks now trying to make it sound like they stole thousands of your dollars. leave it alone, its not worth thier time.

apparently your time isnt worth much though. consider it a $1 learning experience

its not worth it kc.. just put the nutter on ignore or at least stop quoting him so the rest of us have a bit of peace Smiley
2455  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: March 21, 2014, 06:50:28 PM
If Giorgio doesn't want to cooperate with the community, well then Bitmine's name will be smeared along with AMT's. This isn't a threat, just the reality of what happens when you associate with a fraud, and not try to make things right after learning this.

LOL guys, I think you have it all wrong, Bitmine and Giorgios credibility with the community is already in the toilet. Have you actually spent any time in the bitmine thread?

They should have shipped it by Now ... but they didn't Sad

Anyone Knows how long takes shipping to Europe?

It has to get here by the end of next week or else we will start to loose money Sad

Please Hurry Bitmain ...

I expect they will have begun shipments today, but remember today is over in China. They may do some tommorow but don't count on it. Monday is probably going to be big shipment day. The good news is that for Europe thats Sunday night/Monday morning, if yours is in that shipment it should arrive Wed/Thu next week at the latest.

You might be lucky and it shipped today, they just haven't had time to update the shipment details online yet.
2459  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Is there a post that keeps track of vendors that are shipping right now? on: March 21, 2014, 04:36:04 PM
Bitmain seems to be broken at the moment, but based on their reputation, I expect that they'll be back on track soon.

Spondoolies looks promising, but overpriced. I have no doubt that they'll build the machines and ship them. Even on time. The team looks professional.
My concern is that it may simply not be possible for them to lower the price enough to make it a good purchase. Good engineers are expensive! Bitmain proved that it has good engineers, but it has the advantage of manufacturing in China.

They aren't broken they are just "as usual" they always are so rushed for orders that the web site status is often lagging behind the shipment process.
