2441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin prices rise in 2016? I think this is the cause. on: November 13, 2016, 12:13:07 PM
Bitcoin is mainly driven by hype and speculation.
Simple hype and speculation will not get any commodity a sustaining price levels. A fake hype will get collapsed down over the night. Without actual reasons, no one will be able to speculate bitcoin prices. I strongly believe bitcoin has all the reasons for the prices right now it is having. For the rally on 2016, halving had played a very vital role in my opinion.
2442  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should i Trust Genesis Mining on: November 13, 2016, 12:04:57 PM
I am thinking about joining genesis mining and buy some of their contracts
This is not the right time to join cloud mining as the bitcoin prices are still not meeting the mining costs to get you considerably quick profits. If you are ready to wait for almost 1 year to get back your investment, you may go for buying mining contracts with them.

if i can trust them with my money or not
Genesis mining is a trusted could mining services still investing with them is not recommended by this time as it will not be profitable.
2443  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Site for Bitcoin Lending on: November 13, 2016, 11:54:49 AM
I think you can take a look on Poloniex however it's a risky, any exchange can be hacked and you lost your money, so just invest in lending what you are able to lose.
I have checked poliniex exchange many times, there are many people who were offering bitcoins for margin trading, but no people were seeming interested to take those offers for their trading. Maybe the time restrictions to return back the extra margins, we will be using for our trading the prime reason why people are not casually going for it.

I guess poloniex kind of concepts will not help many people to earn big through lending business.

Also I have herad margin trading/leveraged trading are not good idea as they will be involving more risk. This might be than of the reason why traders are not going for margin trading so often.
2444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 13, 2016, 10:58:48 AM
The bigger problem with fiat is the banks, every transaction passes by hands of banks, they are slow, they have taxes, they don't offer anonymity to you and they are holding your money and you can't trust this because we never know the day of tomorrow. But I see a lot of people here using exchanges as a wallet and in this way we end in the same problem.
Yes, bitcoin might have created just to break the traditional system of banking. They are surviving by sucking people's hard work. By giving the banking facility and functionality within people bitcoin is definitely helping to create new financial system in our life. The financial freedom must be the prime reason why bitcoin was created.
2445  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What kind of service/business would you create if you had funding and.... on: November 12, 2016, 05:59:43 PM
Since I don't have good skills and knowledge about trading so I can't invest on that. But if I had enough money I will open a lending service in this forum.I will give small amount of btc with sufficient collateral and will give loan only to trusted people.Though it will be a slow income but I think it's not so risky like other business.
Lending business must be a good idea, but it is suitable as a part time and passive income because you may not get enough loan applicants to get a living out of your lending business here in this forum as well as if you run as a business by having a specialized web site.

With proper collateral, lending business turn complete risk free. Still, some people do face disappointment when an established altcoin gets dumped over night.
2446  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How do you know when a site tries to scam you? on: November 12, 2016, 05:42:27 PM
Its simple they know everyone wants to earn money without doing practically anything so they promised that to you that you won't do anything then they move further to promise you mouthwatering returns which in most cases even if you work for it you likely might not earn that. So this two put together is a sign of scam and nothing more.,.
But I believe these are only applicable to the new sites and especially which are investments based like HYIP programs or pyramid kind of schemes. But, I feel it would be too hard to identify a well running business which may turn into scam by their business collapse or due to change in policy.

Even if we are unable to identify a potential scam, we must always act responsible by not risking big like withdrawing partial amounts time to time.
2447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 04:41:41 PM
i think president don't care about bitcoin and i am sure that he don't know about it
everything he do , bitcoiner will keep and use bitcoin
But American government always care about bitcoin system. I have read in recent news that they are looking into how they will consider and handle bitcoin ecosystem in their policies across all the states, maybe a common policy for all states. So, the new president will come to know a lot about it, lets just wait and hear what they have planned.
2448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount to start as a trader? on: November 12, 2016, 02:46:50 PM
in fact you can start playing trading with very small amounts. however, to get a good profit I think you need capital of 0.05 - 0.1 BTC. well, that was the first thing I do to play altcoin trading.
I believe 0.1 bitcoins itself very small amount to get start with altcoin trading as we need to trade with decent volume to make enough profits for the time we are spending for researches and technical analysis.

I divide my be 0:02 BTC BTC for every 1 coin that I use to play trading, and it was all very well to learn trading and even make a profit
It is really nice to know that you are making enough profits with your capital of 0.02 bitcoins.
I like to know how much time you are spending for your analysis and trading and how much profits you are making from one particular trade.
2449  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: November 12, 2016, 02:35:54 PM
It goes down to self control. Of you are able to control yourself not buying useless things, there's no harm using a credit card. And it even gives you rebate around 2%, so why not

i think the best way is to have zero funds on your card altogether so you are able to spend anything, because by the time there is something i know you would spend on useless stuff
yeah I think by doing that you will be more difficult to shop. but make sure that you save some money later to buy food.
if you can keep your money in a place that is difficult to reach it will be better
Wasting money on useless things is most common for almost every human. It is a bad habit and it comes into practice when we are not realizing the true value of money and its buying power. Like you said, only when we are facing a problem to buy food for the living due to insufficient money, we will come to know about the value of money and the importance of managing it properly.
2450  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: November 12, 2016, 02:27:59 PM
I think 200 bitcoin is not enough to make you a millionaire and for 5 years I don't think the price of bitcoin will reach $10,000. Let's assume that the price of bitcoin after 5 years will be $3,000. I guess 300-500 bitcoin is already enough to make yourself a bitcoin millionaire.
I am just speculating bitcoins prices to reach $10,000 levels in next five years so just 100 bitcoins will be more than enough as per my analysis. Bitcoin is known for wild rallies so it may reach beyond $10k levels also within the period of 5 years.

But the question is how would you able to get that quantity?
That must be the biggest challenge in chasing our dream of becoming millionaire. But, I feel there will not be any wrong in dreaming big. One day, our dream will become real if we work hard also our dream will push us to innovate new ideas to reach our goals.
2451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: November 12, 2016, 01:34:48 PM
There is really no such an "easy" when you already used to it and started to being addicted to it, but the real issue here is that if someone could this obviously you also can. It's about accepting defeat and move on.

Right, it is really not easy to give up, socially for addicted person. I know that i am not addicted person but instead of it i never accept my lose. And in this way, i was doing more bets to recover our lose, Than i realized it was more bad way, better is that accept our lose, and don't play again and again to recording lose, Just quit it on the time. Next day, play it with a new hope and forget the past.
Yeah true, chasing losses will just make a bigger hole of your bank roll and you also get more and more addictive.
One time losses leads to continue gambling and continuous loss.

Chasing losses means you are feeling bad for your losses in past and as a regret you are gambling more which is dangerous because you are not actually gambling because you think you can win but actually you are desperate to win.
2452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: November 12, 2016, 01:23:24 PM
It is profitable in long term if you bet on sports and not dice games because dice games if pure luck . You will be an experienced bettor if you choose to bet always in sports you can be an analyst because you have to depend on statistics rather than choosing randomly.
I agree, choose gambling that uses skills and play smart then you will have a chance to make profit in the long run than other form of gambling like dice game which have only a very low chances of winnings cause it depends on luck and luck is very rare indeed.
Trading can be profitable in long term but gambling has no chance. See any gambling site whether they provide skill based games or any type of games are always in profit. Wonder how ?
Because there is either of one things : house edge or some serious in build programming and in both cases no mater how much you try, it will end in loss
2453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best bitcoin wallet for online gambling? on: November 12, 2016, 01:08:57 PM
Blockchain.info is good wallet to use it as hot wallet for online use purpose, this wallet has top notch security and providing very good services for our needs, it seems all people using it because it's trusted and reliable.
Though the new update on blockchain has made accessing and using blockchain much much difficult in fact I was a fan of the wallet earlier but now its very complicated plus gives a new address every time you have received a payment to old address.

I personally prefer now poloniex wallet though its a exchange site and they take few mins before sending the BTC.
2454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading method is better? on: November 11, 2016, 06:19:56 PM
There are lots of investors that were bankrupt because of choosing wrong coins.  They tend to listen to the hype at the trollbox, which little that they know, this people are just telling them to buy so that they can dump their coins to them at a higher price.  One thing a trader must  learn, never listen to the trollbox without researching.
Yes, failing to choose the right altcoin will trouble us for sure as we could not escape from the dumps by the people who are developing it. There are many short term altcoins are being created just to grab possible money, but they are using innocent traders as baits. That is really pathetic situation for traders, maybe proper analysis on choosing a right coin would save them.
2455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the Trading and Stock Market is the same? on: November 10, 2016, 08:29:57 AM
I don't think that they are the same but I do think they are reasonably similar and function in similar ways.
We need to understand that trading different sector stocks itself will not be same then how we can expect trading bitcoins and stock market would be same.

There are a lot of different factors and events are influencing the price levels of bitcoin and stocks. So, we must have different analysis to trade them. In my experience, the technical analysis will be same but intrepretation of news events must be different.
2456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will mobile devices serve as BTC full nodes in the future? on: November 10, 2016, 08:25:07 AM
I see too many problems for that as well.
The bandwidth that would consume would be too high compared to the costs.
The electricity that would consume is too high for a mobile device.
With the blockchain on your sd card, there would not be much room for other stuff.
But things may get changed in near future when mobile devices are coming with inter core processors and memory cards with tera byte capacity along with unlimited bandwidth mobile phone service providers. But the thing is why we need to have full node in a mobile device when we do not need to interact it more frequently.
2457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: November 10, 2016, 07:51:16 AM
The main difference is Bitcoin is an investment along with rear money power because over the time its prices can appreciate. That is main difference between these two.
But other than investment perspective, I value the concepts of bitcoin ecosystem which never will be possible with real money system. The decentralization and the pseudo-anonymous are few of very big advantages of bitcoin ecosystem over real money.

Quote
But you have the option to convert your bitcoins with a small fee, and you can also spend it everywhere
For the time being this maybe a difference like bitcoin is not accepted by majority of merchants, but over the time this difference will fade away.
2458  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: November 10, 2016, 06:33:15 AM
I think I will ask for a loan. Nowadays there are many ways to get it so it will be great for emergency use.  You can get a loan even here in bitcointalk as long as you have a valid collateral.

If you have the skills you can also try some freelancing in online (fiverr and upwork) and offline work.

For me too, the most convenient option in such a situation is the loan. Although it is very profitable, but in an emergency it is a good solution
Although it is very profitable ? what you mean how can a loan be profitable bro because we have to pay interest in most loans.
I also prefer to take loans of take some money from my clients (as I am a graphics designer) and they know they can order worth much more so they also benefit and me also.
2459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying ICONOMI / ICN shares on: November 09, 2016, 05:44:38 PM
WTS 50K ICN , price discussed.

fuck u mate how did u hack my account ?

and guys don't trust him

I guess you forgot that ICONOMI has compulsory 2 factor authentication.
So, how were you hacked ? As far as I have seen, anyone who has lost 10 bitcoins worth of bitcoin would surely do a lot more research rather than just warning other members here in this forum. so STFU.
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: November 09, 2016, 04:33:59 PM
You do not loose your money when you are addicted in walking, in gambling it's different as even when you do not need to spend gambling for longer hours but you bet big enough that you cannot afford to lose, that is already considered as an addiction and most likely you will suffer from big loses.
That's not a valid point. Not losing money out of an addiction doesn't make it any less of a bad thing. Let's get one thing straight, the involvement of money is not how you would decide if you're addicted at it. Any form of addiction is sickness. No matter what addiction that is, regardless of the involvement of money, that's still addiction and it's still a sickness that affects your mind and actions a lot.
No brother you got it totally wrong. I have a addiction of studying and with that addiction I am now doing a excellent job and getting paid very nice. How can you call my study addiction as sickness ?
Sometimes addiction are good and sometimes they can destroy your life, addiction means you are prone to it and feel doing that over and over again.
