2441  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Government Really Ban Crypto? on: February 06, 2022, 10:38:08 PM
Evolution is one thing that cannot be fought. Bitcoin ban is like keeping themselves in blackout. But all I see within this ban sabotage across some nations is that the are trying to prevent their citizens from having full control of their wealth. They really want to have full control of their economy which can't be granted them anymore. You see this fight to get back financial centralization by the time the government who places ban on cryptocurrency realizes what the are trying to avoid has skyrocketed it would be too late and they will definitely find a way to buy the innovation by then it might become late. Power and funds now lies in the hands of the masses
They can't as they can't claim the freedom of their people to do what they want in their life. The only they can do is issue a banning order and seize those who have been caught but this is not literally a criminal act that people were worried about. To ban is just temporary, they will change it once they could gain some control and imposed taxes on every crypto holder.
The government I guess is too smart enough to know the sentiment in crypto which they know could help their people unless like in China that definitely cut the freedom of their people but instead of creating their own digital currency.
2442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradig Course - Beginner on: February 06, 2022, 02:09:04 PM
Hi Guys,

i have been in the crypto space for a while and started leverage trading a few months ago.

I come to find out i have to reevaluate my game and seriously need a beginner crypto trading course.
Does anybody know a good course for beginners? I would really appreciate your input.

I know, that all the Information is available for free if you do your own research, but due to job and family i have not too much time therefore i need it compressed in a course.

Thanks in advance.

I understand how hard is your situation but to tell you what, everything has been done not in an easy way. Even those who have a lot of spare time still struggle to learn to trade and do market analysis, and that much more in your situation. But if you are determined to learn about trading, definitely you won't feel it hard instead, it challenges you more on how to achieve your goal.
There are a lot of sources of information online which is free but if you want the paid option, that is still available as well. I think watching online tutorials are good enough but the most important is to experience.
2443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 06, 2022, 01:24:36 PM
All the altcoins in the market are crashing even bitcoin is going down so fast, with some people understanding this is a great opportunity to collect altcoins that have future potential, the current correction is happening is this a sign for the next bull run to happen this year, but I still haven't I am absolutely sure that this is a good opportunity for us to collect altcoins, so that this correction can become a trap for all of us, making decisions in buying and selling only for ourselves.
I don't think if you watch the market trend and have time spend to review the chart because we can clearly see that Bitcoin is already in the up motion together with some altcoins. In fact, the market is looking good and healthy right now, it is getting back to green already which definitely it thinks that buying altcoins now is ideal. But I think this never works on you and not for the people who have negative mindset.
That eventually a trap if we invest the wrong coins but if we did it right, profit is really what we get.
2444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT real store of value on: February 06, 2022, 12:45:12 PM
I don't think that NFTs are real store of value because they have no liquidity and volume, how can one say that NFT is a real store of value when you can only sell if anyone is willing to buy, the advantage that a good alt coin have over NFTs is huge this is why I don't like the buying and selling idea of NFT or there is more I don't know about?.
NFT's, not even have the feeling and interest in buying them. We are too lucky if we could sell our NFTs pretty quick as most of the time it won't.
yeah, I don't know how some people had been through to this and risk their money where in fact, NFT's are just into hypes without no sustainable market support which is to believe was very important. If we could see NFT projects are dying now, it never gives us surprised as that certainly will be going to happen.
2445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 06, 2022, 11:48:02 AM

Keith's next opponent? There's no rumors or possible match-up yet as of this time but this is already a sign that he's really back!

I would like to congratulate Thurman on a superb performance, there's little ring rust in his performance I agree Thurman is good but there are a lot of fighters that are better than Thurman, I still consider Spence and Crawford to be the best welterweight fighters. at this point of time, he will likely face Spence in the future because I am 100% sure Spence will beat Ugas

That depends on Spence, if he is willing to fight Thurman then it will certainly happen as Thurman is always open to having a championship fight. Not only Spence, we also have Crawford, and since he is no longer connected with Top Rank, things will surely be easier to arrange a fight against Thurman.
2446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 06, 2022, 11:12:57 AM
Lakers won, but again, it's another hard win in OT.

James won't go down and lose this one, scoring 29 points and then good contribution from Monk again with 29 as well and Davis with 28.

Seems that James and Monk has good chemistry. And when AD is healthy, Lakers is a different team. Sure this is James and AD's team.

The game was intense but this time they won and that's all that matters except for the low percentage field goals by Westbrook which the fans don't really like that much and continue to make fun of him until the end of the game. too bad because all eyes are on him right now and he really needs to improve his shots and play decision because a few mistakes will turn into a non-stoppable disappointment after the game.

If Westbrook was only doing well with the Lakers, they will be an unstoppable team, but with his stats, I think the Lakers would really struggle against a stronger team. The playoffs is the most important situation, however, if Westbrook would still do the same thing, he will be messing up and that would be the cause of their failure.
2447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 05, 2022, 11:35:32 PM
That is why it is called speculation, no concrete results should be expected in short time frames. The accuracy of prediction depends on few factors, obviously the more data the trader has the higher chance of reliability can be researched but even if trader has all available information the market nature stays random. Bear and bull cycles can be predicted only on daily or weekly time frames, below this level is gambling, IMO.
And we don't need to be perfect anyway. Since we embrace the market like this, then we have to accept that prices went like this were up and down remain unpredictable. And in fact, it wasn't confusing as we know this since before, nothing had changed that might bother us, it was the same scenario that we saw 10 years ago, it is only the price that change and we're glad to see it is growing.

This is how the crypto market works. That for sure wasn't hard to understand.
2448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: February 05, 2022, 10:51:28 PM
The cryptocurrency industry is actively developing and it is impossible to ban or stop such development.
It means that after the fall of the market will be a rise.

Projects that will be regularly developed and connected to the crypto community will be able to stay in the market. And the rest of the projects will be lost from the market by achieving their purpose.

Because we all know that there are only a few coins in the market today which are valuable and most of them are worthless in the long run. So no one can stop crypto development, but crypto investors must be careful when investing.
There are countless shitcoins/worthless coins in the market and only a few percentages had a use-case project exists. Too bad to see how this going to happen and that is why we should be careful in choosing altcoins to invest and being in the rush won't help but instead, this will possibly bring us to the wrong one. That is how necessary we need to do searches and make the market study for the sake of not falling into the wrong project.
2449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Thurman vs Barrios - Feb 5 on: February 05, 2022, 12:33:33 PM
As I've  said, ring rust might be a big factor here that Keith Thurman won't be able to KO a taller Barrios.

I agree with you. Even Thurman is a former world champion, inactivity in the ring for several years is really a problem. Even Thurman is expected to do again the performance he used on working before, he might have a tough time to get back in shape.

But even with a rusty performance, Thurman to win by Knock Out between Rounds 8-9 seems a good bet.

Almost 3 years without a professional fight after his loss, after his inactivity, it's been already expected that he will atleast experience ring rust but I know that he and his team are training him hard around the clock to somehow minimize that effect.

Considering that factor alone, he's expected to fight slowly to moderate within the first few rounds in the ring. A win via decision is a safer bet.

Great analysis but I would still go with the KO, that's going to be a 12 rounds of fight, maybe he can start slow and finish it with a KO just like the last fight of Barrios over Davis. None of us can really ascertain what's going to happen but I'm happy that we choose the same fighter to win.
2450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 05, 2022, 12:06:33 PM
Exactly, there goes the set for the fight. As what I've read about the crowd, it's not just about being booed or cheering down the away fighter.
Yeah, I've forgotten that Casimero has been into this whole thing for his life and it won't matter to him anymore if there goes the fans that would subject him after the fight.
Right, regardless of the venue, Casimero has one thing in mind, to keep his title so that he will keep his hopes of good paycheck against the monster in the future. So still needs to train and focus first against Butler, and not to take into account the crowd itself. And knowing Filipinos, maybe there could be a minority crowd in UK to watch him fight, although it will be a big risk for them because they will be out numbered by the UK crowd and there could also be some heated arguments outside after the fight specially if John Riel win in a spectacular knock out.
About the paycheck on this match, AFAIK, it's not really that much for him and it's just a mandatory fight that he has to accept no matter what he thinks about it. But well, there's still money on it win or lose but he won't allow just to pass if it's about his title and record.
Just wishing the crowd won't make a ruckus whenever they see that it's in favor of Casimero.
It was already discussed in the past, and we all know it's not a big amount but Casimero has no choice but to fight the mandatory challenger or else he will lose his belt and his opportunity to get big fights in the future, so it's a must win for him.
2451  Economy / Economics / Re: If you don't buy don't come here to complain on: February 04, 2022, 11:48:02 PM
They can only complain and complain without doing anything, even if they are given a second chance, I think they will do the same. Because basically they don't want to do any of that.
Those types of people don't brave to buy any crypto coins, they are too afraid of the risks in crypto investment/trading. We know that nothing can be instant to achieve success. There should be obstacles and challenges, no one can succeed without them. Crypto provides a chance to gain huge profits, but it has a high risk. If someone cannot deal with the risks, he will never get the possible profits in crypto investment/trading. No matter first chance, second chance, or third chance, there will be always risks in crypto investment.

Not just for crypto alone, but in all types of investments, the risk will always be there. And as they say, when you decide to enter crypto, then you have to be mentally prepared. Those who have been making huge profits by now have come to absorbed that, and they are not afraid to take the risks. However, we can't blame those who keep skipping the chances to invest because crypto creates a lot of hype and some are even thinking if bitcoin is not a bubble or a ponzi scheme. But one thing is certain, they will always regret if they stay having negative mindset, making them the last to realize that bitcoin is the future.
So many people still don't understand Bitcoin and they are still blind not to see the reality as they were blocked by their negative mindsets. No matter how many ads to published online or offline and yet, people who have that mentality will still ignore it. That is to say that Bitcoin is not for everybody, they will somehow see it but don't have the interest. I'm not sure how long, how many years going to pass that made them realize that they were wrong.
2452  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading Bots on: February 03, 2022, 10:59:47 PM
Have you ever used a bot to automate your trading? Do you trust it enough to make the right decisions? If trading bots are as good as they claim, why are folks not using them as much as they should?
I haven't tried yet to use any bots to automate my trading.
But my basic understanding of trading bots is it is more likely to follow your configuration if you set any, like your analysis or conditions when to buy/sell or stop loss.
I saw other trading bots are using pre-configured settings on tradings if you don't want to create your own. Or there are some trading bots platforms that some configurations are public and you can check how the configuration works and it's up to you if want to use it.
So overall for me, I can not say that using trading bots is not good, as long as you know how it works and you understand it, it's good for me.
Yeah, that all relies upon what we feed them. Trading bots will take action based on our configuration and it never makes any decision unless it was changed,  and this is the reason why if we fail to set it right, that loss is certainly be going to happen. Plus, in times of abrupt change in the market trend, these bots will never make it change as well.
That it finds no wrong but if we are using this tool, see to it that we are in the watchful of the market and so we can make adjustments in the situation where the price trend suddenly changes its momentum.
2453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I late to the party?? on: February 03, 2022, 10:23:20 PM

Either way, I know I’m late to the game, but is it still too late? What may be my best options moving forward??

Still cannot believe I slept on this for so long!!
You're too late yet but still have room to get in, so enjoy the party as we are leaving now.

Anyhow, people had to think about getting late is somewhat just dragging themselves out from here. For as long as this is open that simply means that we still have the chance to get inside and start. Nothing has said you're late, maybe too early as this investment doesn't just matter who comes first and who comes late but this is all matter on how we work on it. As if you can manage it well that gives the possibility that you ear more than those people who come earlier than yours.
2454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 03, 2022, 01:38:22 PM

He need to show that he has a good record with consecutive wins especially with knockouts so that he can convince the management Inoue to negotiate with them since if he just use is loud mouth and suddenly defeated by Butler then for sure the japanese monster will.just laugh at him and leave him completely.
The last fight was a disappointment, we were expecting that Casimero would have an impressive win but it doesn't go that way although he won the game. Inoue himself also said that if he fought Rigo, it might be the same result on the Casimero fight as Rigo is a fast runner and would not be willing to risk to engage.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Martinez - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 03, 2022, 01:03:09 PM
I also checked bookies that I usually bet and it's weird that the fight odd is not listed when fights that is months from now are already there. Maybe there is no hype in this fight, nevertheless, we still have weeks before the actual fight and maybe as the fight gets closer to the date, sport bookies are going to open the line. And I wouldn't be surprise if Ancajas will be the slight favorite. And this could be the another must watch fight for Philippines.

I have reviewed in many sports sites, and especially in forums that have to do with sports and specifically boxing, for this match it is incredible, but Ancajas is the one with the most chances of winning, in fact I am surprised that here in the photo Many will bet on Ancajas with their eyes closed, the confidence and security they have is incredible, and I really admire that, from the point of view of probabilities the winner is Ancajas, but if we go to the technical part, the possibilities that They have to win for both is the same, I think I'll decide to make a good bet at least 15 days before, and don't worry, the platform will surely include that fight.

Looking forward for that as I cannot enjoy this fight without putting a bet. We have sportsbook in the Philippines too but it's still good to bet on crypto sportsbooks as they have a more competitive betting odds and it's easier to transact and we can enjoy gambling anonymously.
2456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe we found a way to avoid taxation!!?? on: February 02, 2022, 11:15:42 PM
On February 1, 2022, India announced 30% taxation on cryptocurrencies.

30% is a big number and as an investor and trader, I do not like it.

I have something in my mind, I want to create a smart contract where the contract will be controlled and will be buying and selling cryptocurrencies i.e will be controlled by the smart contract creator from different exchanges or p2p sources in such a way that it will be likely to pay taxes[ALMOST 90% of the times] to the Indian government.

Only two possible methods where tax will be asked, i.e the initial buying phase for funding the smart contract and the final buying phase where it will be required to sell it in exchange for fiat on an exchange.

This will cut down most of the transaction taxation of cryptocurrency.
Does your smart contract has been working already? Or that you need people to try and rid of their money?
I'm not sure about the 30% taxation in India for I don't see the link. Yeah, it was big is that is true but I guess they need to legalize it first before imposing a tax on crypto.
As we are in the widespread use of cryptocurrencies now and obviously become hot in the eyes of the government leaders, we can't avoid that taxation comes and there is no way we could avoid it unless we move to other places where tax is free.
2457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 02, 2022, 01:32:04 PM

We can't avoid these mistakes because the reports and final line-up are sometimes won't be announced early. Nevertheless, we still should be careful enough and bear in mind the factors that could potentially affect the play because this season is really unpredictable at all.

Moving on, there will be a lot of interesting games tomorrow so take your bets everyone. As for me, I'll go for the Grizzlies -3.5 against the NY Knicks and I'm pretty confident that they would bounce back after their lost yesterday and defeat the Knicks on the road.

A lucky win for those who won betting with the Warriors,

it was an intense close game and Poole and lee together with the rookies who really step up in helping the team to win, same system and same outcome only proving that they really working out even those role players knows that they don't have that much time inside the court, but once the coach needs them to play, they can still do the same rotations and try harder to imitate the stars who are playing
those positions..

What we are seeing is probably the 2nd unit of the Warriors only, but they were so impressive in that game. I can say that the Warriors this season are very dangerous the playoffs, they have a good starters and reserves and most importantly, they are healthy.

Do you think it's a good decision by the SBP to get Chot Reyes as the head coach of the Gilas Pilipinas again?

https://pba.ph/news/tnt-coach-chot-reyes-back-on-gilas-saddle

Quote
VINCENT "Chot" Reyes is back to doing double duty, with his reappointment to head coaching post at Gilas Pilipinas.

Reyes will juggle jobs at TNT Tropang Giga and with the national team while Tab Baldwin is to focus on his responsibilities with the Ateneo men's basketball team with the looming return of the college play in the country.

Which coach is better for you, Coach Chot or Coach Baldwin? and why?
2459  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: January 31, 2022, 09:53:55 PM
Futuur is a good site for predictions but honestly, it's nowhere to be the best site for gambling, players want variety, they want the traditional betting sites with dice, slot, card games among others and they also want sporting events where they can bet for their favorite team, these games are already embedded on the consciousness of gamblers ever since, I'm not saying is not a good gambling site but they are dedicated to predictions.
Not good but they are the best when it comes to predictions because they have all kinds of predictions that any person can imagine. That is their specialty that is why they focus only on it and not adding any other games. Other casinos have different set of games and they also have a prediction but those are only for the popular events.

If we read the op post he did not mention any game and for him the definition of best gambling site is where he can play with higher limits and is also trusted. We can ask futuur if they allow high limit play but no need to ask if they are trusted or not because I am sure they are. They are not new in bitcointalk.
Trusted and Limits level is what OP had talked about. Of course, having these two things we are sure enough that we are totally safe and obviously can enjoy playing. I'm not going to mentions which sites had that capability as I don't visit all of them but it was recommended to use sites that has been used my many gamblers. That possibly it will differ in terms of limit level but at least we can assure that everything is fine and most especially, no KYC is needed.
2460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 31, 2022, 09:39:10 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?

Mining might require you more investment. If you are depend on an income from crypto then go for a long term investment but if you need to earn money then, day trading is not much advised. If you have an income from another source then, invest a little from the income into any best currencies so that it just grows up one day and yields you best profits . Besides this, earning on a bear market is really hard. So just try the above out.
Trading can be a good source of income if we have an advantage technology that is enough to compete with others but if not, I see failure at our end. That is why we have to consider our capabilities when it comes to mining setup it can be really expensive and very costly but if we can afford to do it, why not? But yeah, we can't just rely upon a single source of income, having 2 or more is way best ideal. We don't just focus in here, investing outside the crypto market is definitely a good idea.
