1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 07, 2022, 01:31:56 PM
The warriors are back at home with 5 losing streak, I guess it will be hard to bet against them, although the spread is -8 but I think they'll have a sweet victory here with a double digit win, so I'm betting on the Warriors. Also I'm eying on the following games.

Dallas vs Brooklyn
Lakers vs Jazz
Cleveland vs Clippers
Boston vs Memphis
Bucks vs Hawks.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 07, 2022, 12:45:12 PM
So, this match is just a month and a few days to wait. And this match is already booked in Duelbits and look at high the odds are.
1.02 for Naoya and 11.00 for Butler. Well, just like what the crowd is talking about Naoya who's going to win this match but if you're a gambler and you believe on some lucky punch of Butler, this is going to take a lot of risk if you're going to bet with such amounts.

The odds were already available early but if only the ML odds are out for now, it's not attractive for bettors as no one would bet on Inoue with an odds of 1.02, that was insane, although he will likely win, but would your risk with that 1.02? I guess we should wait for more alternatives.
There will be people to bet especially those who are a die hard fans of Inoue. He is popular enough to have gamblers on his back no matter what. On my end I'd go with betting on Naoya even if I'm not a die hard fan of him, I was just taking advantage of the odds. But to be safe I won't put that nuch money for this fight simply because I am still not aware of their full potential (would watch clips of both fighters a week before the fight so I can conclude which one) but I'd go for now with the crowd favorite. In sports, inspite of the difference between popularity and biases, things could be changed once the bell rings and as long as fighters are still up on their feet. Luck? that would work but in this sport, instincts and talents are more dominant.
Personally, I'm a die-hard fan of Inoue but I will not bet on Inoue because he has 1.02 odds, that's not gonna attract me, imagine, if I will put $1000, I would just win $20, I think that's not gonna satisfy me. So instead, I would just wait for better odds with other betting options, not the ML.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 07, 2022, 12:09:50 PM
Utah Jazz stunned the Clippers on their own homecourt.

Such a big win for the Jazz, both Clippers and Lakers are dealt with accordingly, and that is because of their good team work. PG13 scored huge points but the Jazz had a proper distribution of points, their big 3 were playing well.
1464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: November 07, 2022, 10:47:55 AM
You have a lot of time to prepare in this bear adventure, that's why I love this time slot. For the most suitable basket, of course, I usually prefer CMC top 100 coins. I think the current prices are suitable for choosing altcoins. However, it would be more ideal to prefer Major altcoins. It won't be successful because there will be thousands of altcoins, you just don't want to sit back and watch it.
100 coins are huge, it is better to lower your criteria in choosing coins like the top 20 or the top 10. Because I could assume that many coins from the top 100 are still worthless to invest in and a waste of time either. Like if we just make a choice from the top 20 or 10, we are sure that these coins will survive the bear season.

When I choose coins, it doesn't matter to me the price but the potentiality of the particular project. I've experience buying cheap coins before but sadly, I haven't a chance to sell them, and it was one of the top 100 coins in the CMC.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: November 06, 2022, 02:06:40 PM
Fraud is the only reason why I rarely ever invest into new projects. The topic says "not all" new projects but forgets to mention that "most" are bad. This means maybe we do not bat 100% at bad, but we are definitely doing 90% of them bad, and the remaining 10% have plenty of ones that will fail too, which leaves just the ones that will succeed at 1-5% chance at the very best.

I agree that not "all" of them are bad but with fraud being so rampant and easy there is absolutely no way that we could be easily investing into it. That's why we should be focusing a bit more towards known coins, and taking the risk for the new ones is not that easy at all.
We rely on experience, that is why we can tell about this. Yes, OP had missed saying that most are scam projects that make people have no interest in them but rather rejected them. Though sometimes I invested in new projects and my trust is not the same as what I felt with Bitcoin and ETH, I feel like I wasn't safe doing this - doubts is really in my mind but I give it a try for maybe I was wrong with my expectations. But in the overall assessment of these new projects, something to say that 90% of scam is very close to reality.
1466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 06, 2022, 12:50:26 PM

And just to conclude, not everyone wants to trade. People are currently more aware about its risks than in years ago.

The risk of trading is very high and this is why even a winning trade can turn into a losing trade if you don't go off the market earlier enough to take your profit. Trading isn't for everyone, you need to have some qualities before you are able to do trading efficiently, like patient, being analytical to identify even little details, being a decision taker and money manager.
I do trading and lose a lot of money but I never quit as I know that all of these things will happen as we are learning. It can't be perfect right away as it takes a few months or even a year to totally understand how trading works and of course, it takes time to develop and improve our skills. In fact, before these experts reach their position today, they had also suffered difficulties and emotional stress like what we feel. But because they aim to become a trader, they tried to deal with all of these things and yes, success is really waiting for them.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 06, 2022, 11:42:05 AM

I'm having my eyes on LA Clippers  vs Utah Jazz, I want say I like the value for Utah Jazz, but It's yet to be confirmed the availability of PG13, I definitely take my chances on the Utah Jazz if PG13 doesn't play.

Even with PG13, I think Jazz still has a chance to beat the Clippers. They are a slight underdog now but if you will bet on Moneyline, you'll definitely enjoy the big payout without feeling nervous since Jazz would always play hard and would try to win. As we can see in their previous games, their ball movement is very fantastic, everyone is a willing shooter, so they are very unpredictable.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 06, 2022, 10:59:40 AM
The first game was boring as expected, Magnolia did dominate the Blackwater with a 22 points victory. But the good news is we are about to witness now the game between SBM and BGSM, I'm sure this will be a close one in which either team could win.

I know Brownlee is good but they are not the number 1 team this conference, so SMB has a chance to win.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: November 06, 2022, 10:44:55 AM
why the lie in the first place?
Because if they tell the truth it won't attract many investors and that's why we have to be careful people and don't believe the news from the media about crypto without first finding out the authenticity.
The way to avoid such clickbait news just follow official blog from that project.
It is too hard to think if the source is real or something created to fool people. Many people neglect to read and understand it carefully or finding the authenticity of the source. I'd see how terrible being doing this but I did this oftentimes until I realized that I was wrong, really. Even seeing feedback, it was even hard to see negative but mostly positive which we could think is really good. But behind those beautiful words, there is something hidden negative that nobody knows until someone brought it outside.
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for investing in NFT? on: November 05, 2022, 02:37:37 PM
Share with me your story and the reasons why you switched from crypto investing to nft? 🙂
What was the reason behind it? And what was interesting about it? 😉
I didn't totally switch from cryptocurrency investing to NFT. But I just owned some NFT. There are a lot of reasons why I owned NFT, one is because I want to support innovation, these technologies are amazing every day we have a lot of things being discovered, and with this new trend which is NFT, I believe there will be a future on it, especially we are just started to explore, it's like we always using internet on our day to day lives.
I'd found it as another story of investing, different from most who are seeking profit.
Honestly, as NFT hit the market and in the hype, many investors had come and bought them. Of course, they are making money from it but as the hype begins to slow down, many of these NFTs are not sellable and are thought to its dead.

I just recall what happened with ICO, something like it happens to NFT as well. Some of them will stay long but many are going to die.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 05, 2022, 01:07:39 PM
Forget about the Irving controversy.

let's talk about the games last night, Warriors again lose their game, they are in a cold streak now and I don't know when it will stop. It seems like their struggle is really serious because most of the losses are not even close.
Can't trust the Warriors now, they are not the same team as they usually bounce back everytime they lose, but now, it seemed like losing has become their habit now. LOL.... Anyway, I guess I have to wait until they fully recovered, not getting into the trap until they start winning again.

By the way, Jazz bounce back again by beating the Lakers, and Blazers upset the Suns at home, that's without their best player Lillard.

Jazz winning is no surprise at all, Lakers were expose again and that would only prove to the doubters that the Jazz is really a good team this season. Also, Blazers upset the Suns, maybe they'll do it again.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 05, 2022, 12:44:04 PM
Blazers vs Suns going to have a rematch.

Suns is -10 but they lose on their game yesterday, so I think I again will back the Blazers ML, who knows, they'll strike two in a row. I know it's hard to win but looking at the spread now, Blazers spread is very attractive and of course ML as well.

Also, Pelicans vs Hawks, I think that one is really good, of course I like the home team.
1473  Other / Archival / Re: Most investors think regulation is a good thing on: November 05, 2022, 09:28:24 AM
As you have practiced, I agree with you that Bitcoin will bring benefits for regulation and the future, and Bitcoin price will be positive. However, most investors use bitcoin exchanges that only deal in fiat. However, bitcoin does not have this mechanism that only MA developers know. Even though blockchain technology is advanced, it is traceable to fiat.

And once it was regulated, the more we become traceable and have no escape from the government.
Of course, this will help to combat illegal activities like fraud and money laundering but sad to say that being anonymous is now obviously possible. I'm not sure how it affects the price of Bitcoin once implemented but I was afraid of rampant market manipulation will take place and changes the volatile nature of the market. From a decentralized market to a centralized one, that seems not acceptable probably for the majority.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 04, 2022, 09:43:51 PM
Some people are preferred to stay long from their job depending on the nature of their work and of course, the behavior of their co-workers and company benefits, especially for government employees. But what they have missed is the chance to start their own business due to their mind is already focused on doing their job neglecting more opportunities when making their own business. Might they are thinking about the risk because having a job we found it secured and have a monthly income? However, if we are more educated about finance, we can see that this is not the best shot if we wanted to improve our living as rich people are in business, not an employee.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the bear market over? on: November 04, 2022, 09:11:45 PM
The economic crisis and price inflations aren't over yet OP, such a big coincidence happen while the crypto market is down as well. With this stance, I have never seen by chance that the bear season will end this year. Perhaps, we never know when but as we can see with the current situation, it is somewhat we need more time to wait to see the price come back to rally again. Yet, I was not hopeless, I still have trust in the market and I am willing to wait for the next halving and bull market.
1476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are group of long experinced traders try our Free signals on: November 04, 2022, 01:04:26 PM
Okay Community well my signal will be YFI as only i only work with signals what makes BIG moves i'll post here new Telegram channel but okay as you said you want to see signals.
The YFI long duration 1-2 days. Target tp: 11,000$
What’s the basis for this signal? Why created a new group specifically for this signal?
Is there anyone here who follows the signal? If it’s free then why not but if it’s not better to avoid this for now. I see signal group as a guide only and will never be my basis for trading. This is too risky, have some analysis as well before following any signal.
Questioning them is just a waste of time as for sure they won't answer and give any explanation why to believe and trust them. Though we are not sure if this is an attempt to trick people and scam, it was better to stay away from this kind of service to be safe. If we are going to trade, then help ourselves to improve our knowledge and market understanding rather than making ourselves a fool from scammers. Because what they can do, we do as well and even make it better than them.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: November 04, 2022, 12:02:49 PM

About the chances of him meeting Casimero in the future, it's possible although Quadro Alas needs to start building his rank in the Super Bantamweight.

And as for the experienced watching Casimero, he's always on a mission where he wanted to earn his spot.

Though it's no longer the same weight where he manages to dominate and win the belt, it's another challenge for him
beating stronger opponents.

The chance for meeting Inoue will be there after he accomplished establishing his resume from this new division that
he choose to move,.

Well for me it would be something great, because seeing Casimero that one of the greatest in his category arrives and that he can mark an era from then on with another, that is something that can happen as it is for many, I understand that Casimero is one of the best, but Inoue if he decides to move to a higher weight category, at least for me it will be a big step, because he is already at a level where almost no boxer can reach him, for me Inoue what he needs is more fame, it is more encounters with other world iconic boxers, because he has achieved a lot, if he changes category his level as a boxer will have increased, and I think his income per fight would be from another world.

For both Casimero and Inoue, moving to the next division gives them opportunities to bring their skills to the next level,

And like you said, if both succeed it will be add more fame to their careers. For now, they are not
in the same position, Casimero will start from the scratch moving up to this division, while Inoue if
decide to move up. He has that advantage to shortcut his way and challenge the defending champ
from this new division.

They'll meet soon as long as Casimero will start winning his fights, eventually, he will become the top contender and of course, Inoue will be on his way. Who knows, we might see a fight between them though not a championship fight, I think INoue would be okay with that as no belt is at stake.
1478  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 03, 2022, 09:53:09 PM
Recession is coming and we know it. In some places it is staring us right in the face. Unemployment, rising cost of living, increasing food prices, falling stocks etc are some of the negative effects associated with recession. Despite this seemingly bad news, Warren Buffet said “In short, bad news is an investor’s best friend”. And another quote by someone goes thus "millionaires are made during a recession". I have been recently laid-off work due to the recent economic crisis in my country. I do not want to see this as a bad thing. So I ask what hidden opportunities does this recession offer? How can one take opportunity of the recession to become rich or at least not go broke?

Honestly, it was hard when you are just relying on a single source of income. I know many people had also had the same experience with you but they took the opportunity to start making their business after a lay-off. That is why of instead being down because of losing our job, we have to think widely and look for something we can do maybe this could make our life even better than just being an employee. In fact, we can't just live forever as an employee so better make prepare ourselves not to rely on this and take other opportunities that will give us a passive income. There are of opportunities around - we somehow just ignored them.

Dragons vs Bolts
Northport vs Rain or Shine

These are the games tomorrow, the first game is quite exciting because if McDaniels will, things are going to be hard for the Dragons despite the fact that they have been dominating the teams they beat in their past games. By the way, the betting spread are below.

Dragons -10.5
ROS -3.5
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 03, 2022, 11:46:07 AM

It will be an interesting fight if Casimero will bring his entertaining skills. I mean, he loves the attention he must win the crowd here.

He really need to make a comeback win with this one and give the audiences the fight they really wanted to see from him. If his skills are still there, the fans all around the world will demand to see him fighting Inoue next. When their managers see the demand of that fight, they will gonna negotiate and make it come true.

Skills-wise, many will agree with me that Casimero has the edge on this department and I think he would work hard on his training regimen because that would be the only way that he can be sure to beat Akaho, I mean skills are nothing if the hard work is not there, it should work side by side.

For me, Casimero is a marketable fighter because of his antics and he doesn't need to be associated with Inoue at this point in his career because that money fight will come if he will focus on his goal which is to be back on his winning ways.

Yup, focusing in this upcoming fight will be the key for Casimero to win this fight, if he regain his name and start hyping back his career sooner or later money fight will come, not exactly from how he has been treated way back from his original weight division but if he keeps getting the attention for sure promoters will give him the money to fight, that may lead to a good title fight.

Believe that it will happen, Casimero will surely regain his name because he was not beaten through a fight. I believe the fight is going to be exciting, of course, Casimero being the aggressor is a sure thing already, his counter punching is very precise, so KO is expected this fight.

Quote
It's on how he will prepare himself and how he will impress the fans. The goal is to win and make his way up from this new division.
His problem before was his weight, now it should not be the problem.
