Today's not your birthday. If you were born on the 10th of October 1014 as your profile claims, you won't actually be 1000 years old until the 21st of October due to the switch from the Julian calendar to Gregorian calendar in 1752, which resulted in that year having only 355 days instead of 366. I'm sorry to say that you've been celebrating your birthday on entirely the wrong date for the past 262 years.

How do I vote?? I want to vote bull trap but have no idea how
Newbies don't get a vote. You will become a Junior Member next Tuesday, but unfortunately this poll closes before then.

That's not a crash, that's a clean shutdown, which is exactly what's supposed to happen when the OS is shut down for whatever reason. You should probably ask the hosting company what that reason is.

Gandhi never received one either.
He was nominated 5 times though. Henry Kissinger did though.
For the Paris Peace Accords. Which didn't actually accomplish much, but who's fault is that?

The five Nobel Prizes are awarded for outstanding contributions in the fields of physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, and work for peace. Bitcoin is not an outstanding contribution in any of those fields, and therefore Satoshi does not deserve a Nobel Prize.

Im pretty sure this whole thing is absolute bullshit.
Actually, only half of it is. The secret is knowing which half.

Give me $300k and I'll give you $400k in 10 years. Why not right?
Because my savings account pays more interest than that. That's a pretty good reason why not, right?

But I think some early predictions will knock me out in the next month(s) unless BTC goes back to >600
I warned you about those predictions.

Since the rules stipulate only the final scores, it feels permissible to me that the exact scores will be determined only after the contest has ended, according to the rules. Would this be OK for you?
I suppose so, though that does run the risk of someone being eliminated when they shouldn't have been or vice versa. I sense that when you started this contest you didn't quite understand how much effort would actually be required, is that right?

- 15 predictions outstanding (of whose orange numbers you want?)
What? No, I want orange numbers from the last four months of all predictions. Take the first row of the orange numbers from Round 1: 0.0099% 0.0122% 0.0141% 0.0158% 0.0173% 0.0187% 0.0474% 0.0503%The highlighted numbers are now invalid, because they are based on predictions from players no longer in the game, as stated in the rules: Actually, the points are not fully deterministic, because the initial formula supposes that all the entries are still in competition at the time of scoring. If eg. a 6-month long prediction by player A is included in the averages upon submission, but player A is disqualified from competition before the maturity of the prediction, that prediction does not take part in the counting of the final averages for the scoring, which (slightly) alters the average and, therefore, the scores of other entrants.
Likewise for every round of predictions. Actually, on closer inspection, it looks like you didn't take this into account in determining the scores for this round. Or are we retroactively changing the rules to make your work easier?

When I said I wanted orange numbers, I meant all the orange numbers. We need the orange numbers for the last four months of all the previous rounds, since contestants dropping out means their original predictions no longer count.

I recently witnessed badbear post this completely unsubstantial post. In case it wasn't obvious from the context you omitted, he was using irony for rhetorical effect. And rhetoric is substantial. More generally, substance is about quality, not quantity. A single word, emoticon, or image that conveys something meaningful is more substantial than a thousand word essay that does not.

24 hours to go and still no orange numbers. This is unacceptable.

This is insane. How are we supposed to make our predictions like this? We need orange numbers now, not at the heat death of the universe.

So, some "conspiracy nutters" made a mistake about classifying. The fact - if Sandy Hook was real - is that there were deaths, right. And everybody knows that there were deaths (except the conspiracy nutters, that is), right. So what possible reason could the FBI have for redacting the number of deaths right off their statistics page?
Who said anything about deaths? The report doesn't say deaths, it says murders. And nobody was ever charged for the murders, on account of the perpetrator having killed himself immediately after. That alone is a plausible reason why they went unreported.

ITT - No one has the BALLS to post their real pic, typical
What are you talking about? My pic is as real as I am, which is not very. I'm not really here, and neither is anyone else. My existence in this forum is merely the projection of my thoughts into an artificial medium. And so is my pic. It's a self-portrait, after all. If my pic isn't real, then nothing here is real and this entire conversation is a delusion. You may rate my pic on that basis. Or the basis that you never actually specified that pics had to be real in the first place. Either way works.

Still not working for me. I've tried restoring from backups, adjusting my clock, different browsers, Tor... nothing works. Is there any method of contacting the operators besides a forum account that hasn't been active for months? I can sign a message using any address connected to the account to prove it's my account. This is getting damned annoying.
