2461  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 14, 2018, 03:13:24 PM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.

The last few years have shown me that it is not a waste of time to deal with Bitcoin. But on the contrary. Without Bitcoin, my finances would be much worse for me nowadays. I'm glad that I did not ignore Bitcoin and saw it as part of the future of money. Even the current price decline will not dissuade me from Bitcoin. I will continue and buy more Bitcoins again, if the price is low and wait for the next big hype and I am very sure, at some point it will be time again.  Wink

There are enough peers, but for some reason one after another get's banned. Can somebody professional look for a fork?

Sad but there is really a fork. I'm not an expert, but it looks like the blockchain was under attack. Someone attack it through POW and this split the chain. Would be good if Tranz could say more about that. At the moment I'm on the longer chain without rapping from POW miners and a connection to Cryptopia. Everyone should delete their peers.dat and use only the following add notes. Then you might come on the longer chain.  Huh

2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are bounty hunters guilty? on: August 13, 2018, 04:20:51 PM
They are all looking for excuses during this bear market.  It seems these projects want to use the bounty hunters for free exposure.  Then when the bounty hunter succeed in getting their project talked about and they have a great ICO then the bounty hunters are evil dumpers not allowed to get paid for their work.  Lovely job isn't it.  The real reason the coin is dumping is because the project leads are dumping. Not the few scraps we hunters get.

I think exactly the same. The bounty hunter are certainly not to blame for the whole dumps. They get only 1 or 2% of the tokens and that's not very much. I also believe that the ICO operators are more likely to dump their tokens. Most of them have the biggest part of the tokens. And even if bounty hunter dumps, they can do whatever they want with their tokens. Rather, the ICO operators should ensure that their project, after the ICO, still has a buy support for there own token by big investors or by themself.  Cool
2464  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Status of WEX (World Exchange Services) on: August 13, 2018, 03:32:39 PM
It's a pity that such an old exchange seems to break more and more. I am glad that I do not do anything there anymore. Just before the first fall of BTC-E i withdrew from the platform and so far it seems to have been the right decision. Nevertheless, it is very sad that Wex has such problems. Hopefully at least all people will get their coins back. I wish to all customers good luck.   Smiley

The thing to have been aware of was that they never did solve their old issues. They promised to do so, but people waited. Meanwhile, they launched a new exchange in Singapore, started paying back old debtors from new funds, and people stopped complaining. Yes their prices were always better than other places so a lot of early traders thought they were being smart,,, but this is like a ponzi scheme. Get in early good for you. Get in late, lose everything. Just stay away and pay a bit higher prices and fees at other better exchanges.

If they did it all so, it's no wonder that at some point the thing fails. Still a shame that one drives such a money press against the wall. I was really lucky that I separated early from BTC-E. And you are right, fortunately, there are currently better exchanges and I can only advise anyone to keep away from Wex.  Wink

2466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: August 12, 2018, 04:51:54 PM
sadly it is over friends!!!but of course too hard to believe!

How many times do I have to read something like that? I've been through the time when Bitcoin dropped from almost 1000$ to nearly 200$ and everyone said Bitcoin and Crypto are dead. That was a couple of years ago and hey, we're still here and Bitcoin costs more than the then 1000$. That's why I do not see it, that everything is over. The prices go down and the weak hands sell their Coins. When the time is over, at some point a strong price increase will come again. The question is, when will that be? But you have to hold out that long.  Wink
2467  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one do you prefer?Increase your Bitcoin or ِDollar? on: August 12, 2018, 04:35:13 PM
In Trading, there are two categories of people, those who want to increase their bitcoin volume, and those who want to increase their dollar volume. Which one do you prefer? Why?

So I prefer to increase the amount of Bitcoins and not fiat money. With the strategy I drove the last years the best and so I will make it in the future. Cryptocurrencys are a part of the future and therefore I try to get as many coins as possible. I believe that I am on the safe side in the future.  Wink
2468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about community managers? on: August 09, 2018, 01:07:18 PM
Hello everyone!

I'm working as a community manager for a year now. I like what I do, but this work is pretty challenging. Sometimes I have to work 24/7.

And I'm curious what you think about community managers. Does they help you? What would you change in community managers? What style of communication you prefer?

It is very interesting to know  Smiley

There are good and there are bad bounty managers. The good ones for me are the ones who do their job correctly and answer questions and so on. I try to support such bounty manager and I think very positive about them. For communication i prefer bitcointalk, but telegram is also ok.  Smiley
2469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some people say Bitcoin and Crypto will disappear from the market, is it really? on: August 09, 2018, 12:44:51 PM
As long as the use of bitcoin and crypto is increasing. Different country and company are constantly bringing new crypto currency to the market. Statistics show that the amount of investment is increasing in the crypto sector. Some banks are already accepting Bitcoin payments. Bitcoin is being used in most countries of the world and there are no restrictions on the use of Bitcoin in those countries. Bitcoins are being accepted on various online sites. Since the discovery of Bitcoin, nearly 2000 more cryptos have come to the market.

Despite the so-called bright future in Bitcoin and Crypto, why do many say that all the cryptos will disappear from market?

Maybe people who say "Bitcoin disappears" just want to press the price down, but for me personally it does not look like Bitcoin would disappear. The acceptance and the degree of familiarity continue to increase. I still think Bitcoin will have a good future. Currently, many people are deterred by the current price decline, but such a time I've already participated and see it therefore more relaxed. The current price decline could also be a reason why people say that.   Cool
2470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How many Signature Campaign can you join at once on: August 09, 2018, 12:29:22 PM
I recently Joined a Signature Campaign and found few more interesting ones that had me think, whether it is possible to Join more than one Signature Campaign for a Jr. Member, if the Bounty program allows.
Thanks in Advance.

I can only confirm that you can only join one signature campaign at once. Everything else can lead to a ban from the bounty. But you can try to use your twitter, facebook, reddit or other social media accounts for bounty campaigns. There you can participate with an account in different bounty campaigns. Or try to make a videos or translations for different projects. So you can support and earn from different projects.  Wink
2471  Local / Announcements (Deutsch) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - Virtueller Fork 1:0.5 vom BTC on: August 09, 2018, 12:13:39 PM
Hallo,

drei Fragen:

Smiley
2473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which one is better; to buy token or to do bounty? on: August 08, 2018, 01:58:21 PM
Hi I want to hear your opinion about this. What do you guys think about investing in a project by buying their token or by participating in their bounty program. Which one do you think pays more?

The question is difficult to answer, as the two things are very different. It also depends on what you have more of, money or time. If you have a lot of time, participate in bountys. If you have a lot of money and no time then maybe invest is better. It's all about what you're willing to risk. So it's hard to say what's better. It always depends on how your own circumstances are and what you want to achieve with it.  Smiley
2474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When a project don't hit their softcap , they don't distribute bounty tokens? on: August 08, 2018, 01:48:01 PM
When a project don't hit their softcap , they don't distribute bounty tokens?

Normally this should be the case. The tokens are usually worthless if the project does not reach its softcap. Only rarely are the tokens paid off anyway.  Wink
2475  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency or Stock Market? on: August 08, 2018, 01:07:54 PM
As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe.
In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?

I prefer cryptocurrency. Stock market has never been interesting to me. Getting started in cryptocurrencys is easier and less cumbersome. The cryptocurrencys market appealed to me from the beginning and that's why I'm dealing with it. Think so it will continue.  Wink
2476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reddit bounty campaigns on: August 07, 2018, 02:15:44 PM
I feel Reddit campaigns are too challenging and most times annoying. There are so many trials and most times bounty hunters don't receive proper rewards for their efforts. Also there are too many people on reddit that are in the business of down voting posts.

There are several types of reddit bounty campaigns. Some have really high standards and are difficult to fulfill, but others are quite easy to do. You have to choose the easy campaigns and join in there. I also participate in a simple reddit campaign and have had no problems completing the requirements and I have been paid. So look for simple reddit campaigns and ignore the campaigns that are just too hard to fulfill.  Smiley
2477  Economy / Speculation / Re: New Exchanges Are Coming? But It is OK? on: August 07, 2018, 01:56:34 PM
Everyday, we are seeing new crypto currency exchanges start working. So many platform has already opened. But Is that OK? I think volumes are seperating. How this effect prices?

With all new exchanges I would first careful. Many exchanges have disappeared when customers have made enough deposits. You should already inform yourself correctly about a new exchange and see who operates it. Also, you should not store any coins longer than necessary there. In addition, you should first use small amounts to test the exchange. Of course, many exchanges are legitimate and reliable, but some of them are certainly untrustworthy. Caution is always good.  Wink
2478  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Talk Taxes on: August 07, 2018, 01:38:04 PM
Ok this is something that hits us all but when it comes to cryptocurrency there is a allot of uncertainty about how taxes will be enforced. There has been some news about different U.S. dollar amounts such as $10,000 at which taxes will be enforced or a certain amount of bitcoins traded such as 1 bitcoin at which taxes will apply. The majority of the news is based around cashing out on exchanges such as coinbase.
Based on what you have learned what do you think is the most likely scenario when it comes to cryptocurrency taxes in the U.S.?
Or comment on when do you think this will be clarified by the governing bodies?

Paying taxes on crypto coins is normal in the country where I live. I also have no problems taxing my profits. Taxes are used to pay a lot of good things like roads, schools, etc. If you do not trade and leave your coins for over a year, they are even tax-free. It does not get any better. Also, do not forget that the blockchain forgets no transaction and you can track everything. So pay your taxes on it, should your country require it of you and have rest. This is my advice on the topic of taxes.  Wink
2479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you feel about your first payment???? on: August 06, 2018, 01:51:56 PM
Because even tho i got just $4 dollars he felt really good because i know if I could get any money out this, it means it can only get better and I could probably get thousands of dollars from it

Congrats for your first payment. Enjoy the feeling. The first time is always the best. Keep it up and try to make more. It is possible. Wish you many luck for it.  Smiley
2480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can a newbie join bounties? on: August 06, 2018, 01:24:00 PM
Can i join at the bounties i'm just new here but i created this account about 20 days before. I'm just using this to read threads but then i came here and see that i can work. But can a newbie do work here? Thanks In Advance Cheesy

There are a few bounty campaigns that accepting newbies. But I would not go there. Most of them end up in a scam. But better is to first learn a few weeks about crypto and the forum and if you have a basic knowledge, then only participate in bounty campaigns. Otherwise you might enter a scam bounty campaign or get banned from the forum because you're doing something wrong. The forum is not there to make money, it is to spread the word of Bitcoin. Smiley
