2461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel if satoshi back on: April 08, 2022, 09:32:36 PM
And if he comes back, it will be a great feeling, but on the other hand, it is also scary. Because people say if he comes back and starts to sell his holdings, the bitcoin price will be dumped brutally. That is why I am scared too.

No hard feelings, but given the time you spent on the forum, you should understand some things a little better. Why would Satoshi appear in public first, and only then sell the Bitcoin he allegedly owns, if he can do so at any time without causing panic in the market?

Furthermore, Satoshi is just one man who chose to disappear for the reason that he did not want Bitcoin to be in his shadow, so you and everyone else should be glad that he did so. And finally why people can’t figure out that Satoshi did his part of the job and now it’s all up to the rest of us.
If Satoshi really intends to come back to sell his bitcoin, then he had done it instead when bitcoin price was still at its peak price, and not at its bear price. So i don't see any good reason why he needs to come back. He leaves the market maybe because he wanted the people to continue what he has started, and now its happening already and in fact, people are benefiting from it. But i believe, Satoshi wherever he is, he is still secretly monitoring the progress in the crypto market.

Everyone has a different mindset regarding finances, some consider it important and have long-term plans, some are satisfied to work as employees for life and their salary is only able to support their family. This is of course influenced by their perspective, in terms of the education they get.

I would personally say necessary, we need to prepare long-term financial planning, because this will involve me and my family. This long-term planning will certainly be very beneficial for us for our children and wives.

Holding crypto such as Bitcoin, have a money in a bank, holding gold and owning a shop are my future plans.
One thing is certain, whether you are managing a business or an employee who is a low or a high wage earner, i believe we all have our own long term financial plans. Because we all dream to improve our present status in lives, and it will only be possible if we become successful in our financial plans. Some may have realized it at its early 30's, while others have succeeded in their late 40's.  But regardless of the age, having our own long term financial plans is very important because it will guide us and direct us to live the life we always dream to have. And to give our children a better future which they deserve to have.
2463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we just going around in circles? on: April 07, 2022, 08:17:25 PM
ICO never came back, IEO is not trending anymore do you think that metaverse won't vanish in near future? It's like every trending crypto hype will fade away sooner or later and new thing will come around again, are we just going around in circles?.
Expect that whatever is in hype right now will certainly vanish in the days to come, because there is better innovation that will soon to come. So we are not really just going around in circles, instead its a ways of seeing improvements in the market. The ICO was lost because its over driven with scammers, and then IEO loses its value then. And now, we have metaverse that brings more opportunities and profits for everyone. So its more seeing the market becomes better from time to time and its a matter of adjusting ourselves to it and adopting it rather than refusing to get along with the current positive changes.
2464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proposals for global shutdown of crypto on: April 06, 2022, 09:27:16 PM
Go around the world and destroy every single mining hardware and every single device running a Bitcoin full node. Best of luck.

Moreover, I would say, go around the world and destroy every CPU/GPU/ASIC and other mining equipment.
As far as even a single CPU with a connection to internet is active then the bitcoin network can function.
So OP should start his journey right now because it might take a really long time before he destroys the whole bitcoin network one by one.
IMHO, there's no way we can shut down bitcoin OP. It's like shutting an internet that would mean very impossible to shut it down, unless there will be a global blackout that will totally shut down the internet connection. But its very unlikely to happen.

Bitcoin will be here for good. The whole government may ban it, but they can't stop its emergence again and again.
2465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 04, 2022, 09:30:15 PM
According to the Wikipedia blackjack is described as :
Quote
Blackjack is a casino banking game. The most widely played casino banking game in the world, it uses decks of 52 cards and descends from a global family of casino banking games known as Twenty-One. This family of card games also includes the British game of Pontoon and the European game, Vingt-et-Un

This game is not just Luck but its also focused on skills as well therefore more amateur gamblers find it hard to play these games without prior experience in it. It's always good to learn the old fashioned way or to go on YouTube as well, but recently according to an article published on gamblinginsider, the OnlineGambling is providing a free course for amateur players regarding black jack.
It would be over 70 episodes and around 2 hour insight as well. It would comprise of not just basic gameplay but also complex strategic moves as well. They are calling it the BlackJack Academy.
I think this would be extremely helpful for anyone who wants to learn blackjack or to improve their skills as well.
Source: https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/15879/onlinegambling-launches-free-blackjack-academy-online-video-series
At the same time if you are finding a good platform to play blackjack, I would recommend you to try https://blackjack.fun/as well.
Other than that it's a great initiative since players would be able to :
1. Improve
2. Make better decisions
3. Play competitively and win more !!
4. Gain more confidence

What do you think about this initiative??
Are you going to sign up ??
Interesting initiative though. I would like to sign up for the course but on the side note. That is more of the mind game some gamblers are born with it. Will signing up for the course will be beneficial for the new players- if yes I would like to learn it. This is so attractive and brings money as well
I also find it interesting and worth learning. As long as its free, i'll probably going to sign up too. This will bring more knowledge and initiatives not only for amateur gamblers, but even to professional gamblers as well as they become even more competitive. I've known blackjack casino and its definitely one of those casinos that are paying well.
2466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: April 04, 2022, 09:06:56 PM
Low paying job forces people to look for other source of income, and trading crypto can be a good source as well but it requires a lot of work and this is not an easy money.

If living pay check to pay check, I’d rather not to quit my stable job even if it pay low and better for me to have other source of money. Beside, being a full time trader doesn’t mean big money, you still have to be good in trading before you make money. So I choose to be a part time trader, while doing my work daily and so far its effective for me.
It's certainly the right thing to do. Trading cannot give us consistent income, but in either way, it can be a source of consistent losses. This is why trading is not advised to make it as a full time job because it takes a lot of hardwork and needs a longer time to build your trading skills. And by that time building your skills and strategies, there are no profits coming in. So better stick with your low paying job and make trading only your second job. That way, you will never live your life miserably.
2467  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: April 04, 2022, 08:37:53 PM
I am quite sure that some countries will be willing to adopt Russian athletes as their own, in fact this is not uncommon and unlike some sports even if they had represented Russia before in official events most athletes are still allowed to represent another country due to their own particular circumstances.

And I think that being affected by a war they did not wanted qualifies as one of the circumstances that will allow them to try to represent another country instead of representing Russia as they have being doing so far.
They will because those players are innocent. We should not put the blame to the people in Ukraine other than Putin and his team that attacks the Ukraine but the only problem is if they will be allowed to play for other teams because their country was still under the sanctions. Even if we don't want to, I think the idea behind sanctions is to make everybody struggle on that particular country.

The war can end end soon but I don't think the sanctions are also going to wear off so it's still not possible for the Russian athletes to go back in the game. I guess the only way for them to play is to wait again for the next sporting event.
The Russian athletes are now starting to suffer the sanctions caused by their very own Putin and they're not allowed anymore to play with other countries. So Putin should be responsible enough to find solutions for this. Otherwise, the athletes will always feel discrimination, and has no choice but to wait for the next sporting event where the sanctions may be lifted by that time. It will be better if they can still play even in local events so that their skills will always be exercised.
2468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 04, 2022, 08:13:39 PM
The best boxer who fighting not only became a greatest boxer at the time of he retired. He will also used as the new coach to their country.Only the sports person had this capability to do work after his/her retirement. Not even a big shots do this. After earning billions, the businessman take rest.So I love all the sportsman and so it’s called as sportsman spirit.

Not sure if the following would be opt here but would like to share it. Yah I too have seen the top players (irrespective of any sports) as a coach or a mentor when they turn old. Even the governments give chances to be on the respective sports main board to discuss, support and etc. Their inputs are valued. At times they even start up their own sports foundations where young players are trained and grown up. Players make players. Their sacrifice and dedication must be awarded constantly.
You are right mate. The former players will have bigger chances to develop better coaching skills and train new great players. Sir Alex Ferguson was one great example. He was the top football goalscorer, and then worked as a coach, and later on procced to his managerial career. I guess players will definitely end up training new players at the end of the day.
2469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: April 04, 2022, 07:52:27 PM
Will Smith's Many speculation that is just a montage, no one is a secret that in Los Angeles and Hollywood have their very murky things and that when they are thrown into the world, it makes their lives pains if you want, some become crazy , others kill them and then they say that they committed suicide, we have the case where some have left unharmed but with certain dismembered things in their lives, such as: Jim Carrey, Keanu Reeves, I would hate Qeu Will Smith starts to go wrong.
...
I'm surprised that anyone believes that what Will Smith did could be real.
...

I don't know if it seems normal for you that one person slap another on such context worldwide.
there are lawyers and a law, a gesture like that it is primitive, and any of us (or just anyone) reacting in a similar way in daily life would have a lot of negative consequences ...
The act of Will Smith was definitely unacceptable and there should be a disciplinary action, either suspension, expulsion, or any other sanctions because what he did was clearly against The Academy's Standards of Conduct. Although Will Smith made an apology to Chris Rock, but i think it's not enough. He should still be given proper sanctions and be responsible of his own action.
2470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: April 04, 2022, 08:46:01 AM
But on the other hand Murata is also not an ordinary boxer and he definitely wants to make something that people who see him definitely don't want to forget. even though he is the favorite but on the other hand this match will not be easy for GGG.

I agree on that, he is not just an ordinary fighter because he is also a champion, it's just that GGG is more popular as a boxer but of course, Murata has a chance of winning the fight. The popularity of GGG makes him the favorite to win the fight, and if we look at the betting odds, Murata here is a heavy underdog which IMO a good chance for the backers to take advantage of the odds if they'll like to put a bet on this fight.

Quote
Boxing Odds: Gennady Golovkin -650 favorite, Ryota Murata +410 underdog.
https://bettinginsiderjournal.com/boxing/gennady-golovkin-vs-ryota-murata-odds-predictions/
Well, even the hall of fame promoter Bob Arum is up to Murata and feels that GGG will be beaten by his opponent, not to mention because of their age gap difference. However, GGG might still get the highest bet knowing how popular he is, but Murata would surely get some bets for those who still believed on his ability to beat GGG. We'll wait and see by then as both are champions in their own ways.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 04, 2022, 08:12:12 AM
Lakers remaining 5 matches is against  x2 Nuggets, Warriors, Suns and Thunder.

Unfortunately, LeBron missed an important game against the Nuggets tonight because he hasn't fully recovered from a recent ankle injury. As a result, the Lakers lost again without him, although it's worth noting that Davis and Westbrook played well in this match as they combined for 55 points.
But still, kudos to Davis and Westbrook as Lebron have been impressed by their moves that made the game more exciting. Though they still lost in the end, but Davis and Westbrook have showed their best shots despite of the absence of Lebron. I guess if they can't make it this season, then they should regain their loss and work hard more for the next season.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 03, 2022, 11:43:00 PM
I have two in my mind, it's either Bucks or Warriors. The favorite is Suns but the same unexpected fall may happen to them but it's also possible that this is until they get the trophy until the finals.
So, if it's only one, I think that I'll take that gamble for Bucks for the possibility of being a back to back champion.
I'll go with two of the most favorites teams, the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. They have quite impressive odds to win in this NBA season. However, things may go unexpected when the final game starts. It may be Bucks who has made two NBA titles, who knows?  But whoever wins this season, i'm sure the team's hardwork and perseverance has paid off. There must have been a great chemistry that creates a great team, and that makes them a champion.
2473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 03, 2022, 09:57:17 PM

It's because the WBO allowed Casimero to go and make the fight happen because he submitted all the needed docs about his health issues and the body accepted it.

So now the fight resumes, although there seems to have another problem on the side of Casimero that will bother him in the fight, at least this is going to happen. It's really up to him to train hard and focus and not to be distracted by the negative news bad at home.

There's no doubt that even if this anticipated fight between Casimero vs. Butler had been postponed and rescheduled for a long time because of some health issue that rises up to Casimero boxing fans still wanted to push this fight through and see Casimero win this game. So good to know that this fight was resumed but then with another issue related to again to Casimero I guess as much as he handled this case properly this will not be one of the reasons again to be the hindrance for his upcoming fight.
Well, only Casimero knows the truth about that but if he can divert his mind and focus on his fight with Butler, the fight will definitely in favor with him. And he should really beat Butler so he can make a good fight with Inuoe or Donaire or whoever wins the game after the big fight. I love how Casimero handle his fight in the boxing ring, so i expect him to beat Butler this time.
2474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 03, 2022, 09:21:25 PM
Finally, it's been announced that the two will once again face each other. I think this is already official. Even Inoue has already confirmed the fight and the fight details on social media. The date is set on June 7, 2022 and the venue will be in Saitama, Japan.

I am once again excited because I know the two will give us an explosive fight. The last time they met, in 2019, the two made a fight of the year.  I am looking forward to the same level of energy in this rematch.

Yeah, we finally have a date and a venue, just waiting for the final announcement and it's going to be official. And the timing is just about right, 9 weeks before the date, 8 weeks of hard training for both fighters.

Donaire seems to have his second wind in his career, so I'm expecting him to give the Monster a good fight and this could end up in the judges scorecard again and hopefully Donaire can get his revenge.
This will be another good and exciting fight as Donaire will show us once again his fast hand speed and punching power that could make the Monster a loser. However, Inoue with his incredible punching power and relentless body attack will always be optimistic that he can win this fight as this fight will give him an advantage because it will be happening in his onw home court.
2475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 03, 2022, 08:59:57 PM
Tagoe may be a cherry picked fight on this one against Garcia but it's not because he is weak, it is because he can unveil Garcia's true limitations or whatsoever. We can't also forget that this match is for Garcia so that he will lift his name higher, so we can expect a very interesting and tight match.

Yup, you are right. This fight is intended for Garcia's successful return to the ring after a long layoff. I just don't know how prepared Garcia mentally in this fight. Last time I have read that Canelo, his friend took a swipe at him saying that he is now focused on a fight and the latter took it hard which might affect his preparation for this fight.

Let us wait for more betting options on this fight, ATM ML for Garcia is not a good bet.
Garcia must have prepared for this and even plans to surgically break down Tagoe in the ring but it will only be certain once we see the actual fight. Tagoe, the "The Gameboy" on the other hand, won't let Garcia to beat him and he'll do his best to defend his boxing career. Both have massive preparations but only one will be proclaim as a winner in the ring. So let's see who will make a good fight and brings home the bacon that night.
2476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 03, 2022, 08:14:32 PM

That was too bad, but their problem is really their defense.

I think they are still not out in the play-in tournament, they still have more games waiting and they just need to win them all.
Now that Davis is back, I think the Lakers chance will increase but I don't want to expect so much as I don't want to get disappointed.

With Davis yes they can win game/s but if for the future of the franchise it's much better not to push the players and let things to

happen, having an early exit will secure the players from possible injuries. though we really don't know if how the coaching staff will handle

those remaining games, if they wanted to continue chasing for the play-in they needed to work hard and win games.

Still possible and like you, I will not expect too much just go with the flow.
Davis has now returned to the court and is now making a productive week. If his come back will create progress and could be an asset to win the remaining games, i guess the stat of the Lakers will be improved. Though i know its not only Davis who should work so hard, but definitely the staff involved in the team should probably do all their best giving their best shots so they can win the next games in the court.
2477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 03, 2022, 07:54:15 PM
Crypto.com has sponsored numerous sporting events, from fights to football. But sponsoring the World Cup is a global and very important step in the cryptocurrency world. People all over the world will see the name Crypto.com, which is very easy to understand, meaning that after such a big promotion, cryptocurrencies will have even more users, which will have a positive impact on the whole industry.
This will be a huge challenge on part of crypto as this is not just a regular event, but definitely a world event.  I think from here, crypto will be going to be a part of significant events all over the world, and that is expected after this event will be successful. This is the best way to attract and encourage a lot of people that crypto is taking its huge step to be more involved in the sports industry. And hopefully, this will gain more support and acceptance from all the future users and customers of crypto and see its fast growth not just in sports industry but in all arenas in the future.
2478  Other / Meta / Re: Would the IQ test have made the forum better? on: April 02, 2022, 11:17:09 PM
That could be a good addition but that questions can be search on Google, so I don’t see the essence of that if the users can answer the questions by just getting the answer into somewhere else.

Beside, we cannot expect everyone here to have a higher IQ. The purpose of this forum is also to educate and give information about cryptocurrency, how can we expect newbies to survive on this if that questions will be implemented?
Well, i have fun with it and get more educated, but i don't think its necessary for this forum because as we can see most of the trivial questions are not even related to crypto. So it does not guarantee to make all of us a good and quality posters in this forum.

For me, the merits system is already good enough. Some have still find it hard to get merits from their post, and i don't think the IQ test will help us to get merits.
2479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you agree market behavior has changed? on: April 02, 2022, 10:42:15 PM
Not all traders work the same way, that's the reason why all traders aren't profitable always. Every trader has different strategies to make money. And not many traders use tools for trading as well. So I don't think market behavior changed. A lot of things related to the market, a lot of psychology works on the cryptocurrency market. So nothing changing except using the latest tools. Some traders just see the candles like me those don't use any tools. However, I can't say market behavior changed just for a few tools. There will be always losses and gainer.
The market has never changed, it will always have its up, down and sideways movements and we always stay win and lose. I think only the people has changed. Some stay being dumb and fearful, while some have become smarter and fearless to take and manage the risk. And those who always see opportunities in the market and take advantage of the different market behaviors, they are the ones who mostly win in the end.
2480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 02, 2022, 10:23:20 PM

Agree wth the above, worldwide adoption is next to impossible when government doesnt like that to happen. Everyone may hope BTC will be adopted everywhere but government will also do everything to prevent. CBDC is coming, thats what they want whether we like it or not.

Not everyone can afford BTC. Even if its adopted widely, the poor will have a hard time owning BTC. You can't reason that they can buy $20 fraction of BTC when they don't even have a job. The option, memecoin 😅
As long as the government will not fully regulate the use of bitcoin, its worldwide adoption will always be impossible. The government controls the people, so whatever its rules and laws, people should always comply with it.

However, bitcoin is also hard to adopt because it also lacks the opportunities to spend it. Its hard to find physical stores that accept bitcoin, and so people always prefer to use fiat. And also, because of the fear and confusion of the people due to its price volatility, bitcoin makes it too hard to adopt.
