cgminer has with an special configuration an similar effect. The USB Asics will not work with 670 mhs, i think its a driver issue.
Thanks for the answer. But it detect the Mh/s correctly when you start 2013.06.04 [23:44] Icarus (COM8): Command response 7 ms, hash rate 336,0 Mhps.

I'm trying here for first time with the Bitminer client.
Is it normal that all 5 USB Asicminer are hashing at ~670Mh/s each one... when they're supposed to run at 336Mh/s. Program failure?
I'm going to DC them and reboot.

5 - Run cgminer-nogpu with these options: --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COMx -S COMy -S COMz -S COMetc
For my 7 miners, I'm using:
--icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100 -S COM3 -S COM4 -S COM5 -S COM6 -S COM7 -S COM8 -S COM9
Note that I saw a post from one of the cgminer authors suggesting to use 115200:2:1 and 3.0=80. When I did that, I got errors and cgminer immediately crashed.
I'm getting about 333mh/s with the above on Win7x64.

I really appreciate your post. For all of us noobs out there can you be a bit more specific on how you do step 5? Very basic stuff I know, but I am trying to learn. When I run my cgminer no gpu it first wants me to enter a url. After I put in the mining pool info and my worker info it goes away. How do I set it up to run using the options you have specified? I know its connected and working b/c I am able to mine using the USB BE using bitminter's software. Thanks. Thanks for the info. I was really upset trying to make them work with cgminer... it was just shutting down. But with Bitminter sofware works!!!

A+C: Any way for us to tell when you've shipped orders by looking in the traders book? (If not, it would really be nice to have a "Shipped" column with Y or N ) Shipping status, with tracking # please. Thanks. +1

A ver si tienes suerte y no te crujen.

Maybe there is someone who has no interest in interacting with this (bitcointalk) community yet has funded there own asics?
I was thinking the same. Maybe one new company, and they're just making the ASIC for them. If the new company just mine for itself, and does not sell, it will not make much money. For example, ASICMINER's mined Bitcoins drops every week recently because its share of mining capacity drops. Today's ASIC overcharge. So selling ASIC miner is a good business. ASIC is still not overchaged, they are really profitable today. If you're starting your farm is better to build a high hashpower and after some months sell some. Like AsicMiner.

Why all so slow, I was guessing I will receive my Avalon Batch #3 at 25M difficulty... but now my guess looks quite optimist. I think I drank too much waiting my Avalon

why purple?
Because it looks better on fair skin (white peoples) (I'm not racist) Have you been in marketing long? Nope What you do is you expound on the centuries-old association of purple with wealth, nobility and the unconventional, thus directly adressing what the general bitcoiner obviously wants to be viewed as. What you don't do is: "Yeah, it kinda looks good on whites I guess?" This marketing lesson was free, though I do take donations. Or you can just tell that purple is your favorite colour. Better that telling "it looks better on white people"
