Posting fake links is not a joke, or kid.  It's a an attempt to SCAM.  Knowing people are going to try the links.

Not only are you a scammer, you are an asshole!!

According to the BOP handbook http://www.bop.gov/locations/institutions/lew/LEW_camp_aohandbook.pdf inmates at the Lewisburg Camp are allowed to spend $290 per month at the camp store.  Being Charlie will be there for 9 months to a year (before he is sent to a halfway house).  I think your $15,000 is a bit off the mark.

and again WHY does Charlie need our money?
2485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MakerelCoin $MAK dedicated to funding Charlie Shrem’s stay in club fed. on: April 09, 2015, 11:17:29 PM
Charlie got a 2 year sentence, he'll be back on the streets before the end of the year.  Again, why does Charlie need our help?
2486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MakerelCoin $MAK dedicated to funding Charlie Shrem’s stay in club fed. on: April 09, 2015, 10:36:09 PM
If it can be mined, I'll mine it.  But to support Charlie is not going to happen.  I have taxes due and Charlie never supported me.  So on the IPO, pass.
2487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MakerelCoin $MAK dedicated to funding Charlie Shrem’s stay in club fed. on: April 09, 2015, 07:50:59 PM
Dude, the reality is, Charlie is at the country Club version of the Federal Prison System.  There are no mackerels, there are dollars in the buying accounts.  If he were inside the walls, there would be no internet access, and a method for payment would be whatever he could get his hands on.

People doing HARD TIME (not Charlie) don't give a rats ass about a new form of prison crypto.  Most of them want to do their time without getting killed or butt raped.
2488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MakerelCoin $MAK dedicated to funding Charlie Shrem’s stay in club fed. on: April 09, 2015, 06:45:13 PM
You stated up above the HE WANTS people to send money.  The question is WHY?  Sure I want you all to send me money as well!!  I may not be in club-fed, but hey I got bills also!  and I'm not worth 6 million!!!
2489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MakerelCoin $MAK dedicated to funding Charlie Shrem’s stay in club fed. on: April 09, 2015, 06:36:38 PM
Why should we support Charlie in prison?  If he as a net worth of 6 Million I think he can afford to support himself while he's at the country club.

The whole on-line wallet thing scares the crap out of me!!

I guess if you're using it only for small amounts that you can afford to lose then it can be OK. You're trading security for convenience, which isn't bad so long as you understand the risks.

After losing much crypto on exchanges, I don't even like leaving a balance on exchanges!!!

I know I'm doing between 150,000 - 175,000 points a day.  I turned my regular workstation to medium because it was causing all kinds of delays on Max.  Happy to say, I have hit over 5 million points so far, but I'm still at a rank (if points are combined)   13665 of 1773754.  Not bad!!!
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain on: April 07, 2015, 05:24:41 PM
@ madmartyk

Limited number of buyers is a temporary problem. Step by step the number of SYS marketplace will grow.

But how can we resolve the high conversion (fiat/crypto and vise versa) fees problem???

That is a problem on both ends, the buyers need to exchange fiat to BTC then BTC to SYS, same with the seller, converting it back to fait.  We have discussed BTC on the radio show a couple times (the show is not crypto related) and people just don't understand BTC or find it way to hard to deal with.

Take some of the dark markets, not only do you need BTC, TOR but PGP encryption.  Now take the average computer user, it's far easier to just deal with E-Bay.  Also E-Bay/paypal offers buyer and seller protection.  Paypal is already working on accepting BTC and many E-Bay sellers will take BTC at current exchange rates.

But all in all, the average user just doesn't want to deal with the hassle of getting BTC.
If u have read my posts you would know you dont really need to sell for crypto.. you can be a regulated business and dealing in only fiat yet enjoy benefits of using syscoin to sync up offers on a global marketplace (like a decentralized database).. the value add of which will be sync tools to help keep the site synced up with the market by paying fees for updates.. this will allow everyone to enjoy blockchain without having to switch

OK, so how is a buyer going to send $$$?  Then you are back to using Paypal again.  Unless you are set up to accept CCs then you have to go through PP or some other service to accept Fiat.

I'm not FUDding the system at all, just trying to understand how it works (being a 15 year EBay seller).

is this the same as silkmarket 1 or 2 which is centralized?

The market is full in Blockchain, total decentralization market place, Web is use as interface to interact easily.

Now imagine when it's complete and if some big investor use this to develop competitor for Amazon and Ebay.

Besides the fact Syscoin Market is decentralized, what other advantages does it have vs Amazon and Ebay?

Amazon and Ebay have their own offers... no sharing.. imagine NewBay which can take both of the offers off of ebay/amazon for free and list them on their website, charging a small fee through a payment gateway.

Today you have that via centralized API's that maybe amazon/ebay would let people use (probably for a fee)... or scrape websites which is stupid. Now if those API's were not 100% secure then your website would suffer.

You can create your own offers and share them to the world.. so anyone can see your offers on "their" marketplace websites if they think you would bring value to their site.

To add to Jag's info, using Syscoin's marketplace is a no-brainer for any merchant.
The last time I sold stuff on e-bay, it cost me about 12-13% just to sell (3% to paypal, 10% to ebay-if you want the add to stick out). That's huge, if you normally made 20% profit on a cash transaction sale, that means that you would only make 7% with ebay. Since the marketplace is on the blockchain, Syscoin fees are negligible and are only to run the network (like bitcoin but much less expensive).

Also, there's so many things that you cannot do with Paypal for example:

-Items that are considered obscene
-Sexually oriented materials or services
-Weapons (even though their sale may be fully legal where they are being sold)
-Purchases of real property, annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts
-Money Service Business activities: the sale of traveler’s checks or money orders, currency exchanges or check cashing
-involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.
-Etc, etc, etc...

See Paypal's acceptable use policy, most credit card providers have similar policies:

https://www.paypal.com/ca/webapps/mpp/ua/acceptableuse-full

Very low fees is also an enormous advantage of decentralized markets vs Amazon and Ebay.

But the conversion fees fiat/crypto and cryto/fiat (which veries from 5 to 10%) is somehow a burden for vendors and buyers to my opinion.

Also the exposure to millions of buyers on E-Bay is worth the 14% paid in fees.  vs.  the limited number of buyers in a decentralized market.

I am convinced that the luck with antpool is down because I have been watching it too closely!

I will walk away and leave it alone for a while so it can have a chance to recover.

Tom

That's  not it, I haven't been watching at all.  I was shocked by the crappy payouts (and luck)!!!  Sad
