I have been solo mining eth for a few days but would like to add sia as well. Can you solo mine eth and sia? I guess you need to mine sia through a pool, if so do you need to register with the pool or just add your details to the miner and start mining?
OK I found the info in the readme. I would like to know what Sia application should be running? the sia miner? the alternate miner (A GPU miner for Sia in Go.) or just the wallet SOLO-MINING SIA-- You need to run the Sia Wallet, and Claymore's miner. Point Claymore's miner to " http://127.0.0.1:9980" if the Sia wallet is on the same machine as the miner. The wallet needs to be fully synchronized, and it listens on port 9980 by default. The Sia GoMinier works really well, but you don't nwant to run two miners on one computer. You could run another miner on another computer in your LAN, and point it at the computer with the Sia wallet. You'd need to know the LAN IP's and use them correctly. --scryptr Is it even worth solo mining with say 4Gh? I'm getting about 10K SIA/day on Nanopool. |

Can I have thoughts on spreading the 1,000,000,000 coins among all participants? It has been asked by a few people now and we are close to 1000 members?

Classic is not Ethereum because of: a) Ether holders voted decidedly for the hard fork (and, by proxy, against Classic). True, only about 5.5% of the total supply of ether was used to vote, but that is no reason to deem the it invalid because the vote was well advertised and anyone who wanted to vote did so. For instance, I did not participate because the side I was supporting had already been winning by a huge margin. b) Miners voted in support of the hard fork, e.g. https://dwarfpool.com/eth/voting. Again, low turnout does not mean inconsequential results for the same reasons as in point a) c.i) The Foundation has recently announced that they will be supporting the non-Classic chain Seeing the results of various metrics, including carbonvote, dapp and ecosystem infrastructure adoption, this means that we will focus our resources and attention on the chain which is now called ETH (ie. the fork chain) c.ii) Ethcore (disclaimer: I actually work with these guys) has been pro-fork from the start and that position still has not changed, even despite Gavin’s recent, either misexpressed or largely misunderstood, tweet c.iii) DApps, blockchain explorers and toolkit devs are sticking to the forked (ETH) chain as well, e.g. At least one pool's users voted against the Bailout Edition, yet were overruled. Something about superdelegates.  The rushed, stage-managed pro-Bailout "election" was as crooked as the Democrat primary. Even worse, the Bailout referendum was held suddenly while at least Hillary gave Bernie voters plenty of notice in advance. I wonder how much hanging chad there was!!  |

Site is off the dev is stalling a new script,hopefully when the site is up again,the dev will roll up the roadmap to this project,the concept is very unique Every one now wants to see the update and the future development of this project..
It's not as unique as you think, there have been lots of freebie coins, coffeecoin did very well but the dev lost interest. I just hope the dev here sticks with it. peepcoin needs more promotion It will be easy to promote peep coin if there new features added beside those free peepcoin the admin mention that they don't need an exchange it will be hard to attract new users if they cannot trade their coins.. Once a wallet is released and the source is posted it will find it's way to an exchange. If there is nothing new or special about this coin the dump will then begin. It all depends on the DEV team. If they are going to try and grow the coin or if they dump the premine as soon as it hits an exchange. |

Whose hear holding onto coin versus buying shares? Whats your reasoning?
I am in for both. i have sent in some of my kuc for the shares and i am also holding and buying any cheap ones i can lay my hands on. if i can buy ether that is above $10 then for sure i can buy this ones worth pennies. I am ready to take my chances with this one. So there is a chance you will sign up and receive nothing?
It is unclear I think it will depend on how you answer the questionnaire I'm thinking what if there were 1100 sign up,there would be users that will not get it and does the site has a security feature to prevent multiple account,some of this issues are not yet address.. One would think that after the number is reached the site would stop taking requests. I guess we'll see... Didn't think about it like that, that's a good idea. Otherwise you'll have a lot of pissed off people thinking you are just collecting info to sell. |
