2001  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Cryptsy going the way of Mt. Gox and Mintpal? on: December 20, 2015, 06:08:20 PM
It sure looks they are doing something fishy. Although there has been no proof that a hack has occured. Something like this has happened.
I am not sure why they didn't blog it and just want to keep everyone in the dark?

Transparency is the key for any company, especially a bitcoin company...

I totally agree!

Well so much for the Avalon 6 I was going to buy...  WD's still PENDING.

People there are bailing, trading BTC for DOGE and taking a 30% hit.  I'm hoping they get the issue straightened out soon....
2006  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Cryptsy going the way of Mt. Gox and Mintpal? on: December 19, 2015, 05:48:30 PM
They did cancel my WD. (I was over the limit for my tier).  So I sent a smaller amount.  AND WE WAIT!!
2007  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Cryptsy going the way of Mt. Gox and Mintpal? on: December 18, 2015, 11:39:52 PM
There are people on the chat box (maybe true, maybe not) that have been waiting 2 weeks for a withdrawal!!

i think that person waiting 2 weeks was trolling because he had other issues.

cryptsy have either been manually pushing transactions or on request cancelling the transaction so that balances returned so that people could trade into alts and withdraw alts.

no one can know whats really happening internally, whether they are liquid or not. whether they have issues due to bugs or have been scammed by malleability attacks, whether they been hacked or had a malicious employee.. no one knows its all speculation. i would just suggest finding other methods to withdraw and just wait it out

That was the talk today, convert it to DOGE and WD it.  But all that was doing to inflating the price of DOGE.  I'm sorry, I'm not about to take a 30% hit.  I'm hoping after the work there is done my WD clears.

At one time Cryptsy was the place to trade Alt coins for BTC.  Well, I have had a 5+ BTC withdrawal suck there for 2 days.  Other exchanges BTC withdrawals are almost instant!  Opened a support ticket and nothing!  A buddy of mine has had his withdrawal stuck for 3 days.

I'm not trying to spread FUD, but am I worried, you bet I am!!  I didn't use Mt. Gox, but lost 2 BTC at Mintpal.

I'm hoping the wallet maintenance will fix the issue, but I'm starting to get worried.

ck has a pool here in the US and one in Germany.  As for rentals, I have heard good and bad about both.

someone hit a block on cks pool last night!

That was me.  Rented 55T for 14 hours and hit the lottery!!!

very nice, nearly 1/72 chance to hit it, where do you have rented such a huge amount of tera and what was the price?

55T is not a lot, I have seen people rent 1P and not hit!!  You can rent from NiceHash or MiningRigRentals

EDIT: The Europe solo will stay, it just need a bit of time that everybody take a notice on that, maybe
that will be the case with the Hong Kong one either.

If we can Help / assist you in improving the de server, just ask, we will help!
I've had a think about it and I figure what I will do is if the de pool solves a block, that will pay for commissioning a better VPS for it and then I'll deploy a more powerful version of it. The only downside to this is that what's really happening is miners are leaving solo.ckpool.org and going to de.ckpool.org so that even though de is proving instantly popular, the solo pools combined will still only be solving the same total number of blocks.

Uh, yes, that is a thing wich can only be solved by the people who solve a block and donate(!) afterwards.
The other way would be an increase of the pool fee.

Or Donations of the Europe User.... i look in my wallet then.

Right now I have 1 rig on each!!  (even though the US one is only 1.2T)
2016  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining 140 blocks solved! on: December 16, 2015, 11:04:40 PM
What kind of message we should expect if a miner solve a block on the de server?
I saw the solo.ckpool message on one screen but no message on the de one.
Did you plan to connect them in the messages given out on blockfind, if it is possible?
If a block is solved on the de pool you'll see block found @ de.ckpool.org

They're not connected in any way, and I have no plans to implement such communication as the overhead and complexity isn't remotely worth it.

You'll see BTC in your wallet!!!  Cheesy

With the de server, where will be best if you're in the UK? I'm assuming that the DE should be closer but there was a post about being a better connection to the US?

Ping both servers and see who is the quickest.

Cheesy congrats to 15X8ziBTCLEQCU2eUwWoQCYqJV7CoJSFoC for the Block!

Congrats!!  Was that on the .de site?  Since my rental is in the EU moved it over to the Germany site.
And was that with only 2 THS?? http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/15X8ziBTCLEQCU2eUwWoQCYqJV7CoJSFoC
Code:
{"hashrate1m": "2.26T", "hashrate5m": "2.09T", "hashrate1hr": "1.94T", "hashrate1d": "1.9T", "hashrate7d": "930G", "lastupdate": 1450286626, "shares": 2579654577, "bestshare": 287355.16882747115, "bestever": 890111346}

That can't be it, the best share isn't enough to generate a block
