2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 22, 2021, 03:43:24 PM
Although Tyson have a much higher odds than Anthony Joshua, I will still bet on AJ as I watched his highlights.
He really dominated his opponents inside the ring and he show no mercy in his opponents.
Anthony Joshua have some good highlight reel and you need to look at the opponents he faced, when he faced Wladimir Klitschko he was coming after a loss to Tyson Fury when all the experts considered  Tyson Fury as a heavy underdog but he dominated the fight and that is the case with Deontay Wilder fight and that too when Tyson Fury was returning after a long gap and undergoing depression and ballooning up to 400 pounds and substance abuse and we clearly know who dominated the fight and in the rematch Tyson Fury smoked Deontay Wilder with ease.

I know that you will say that betting on Tyson is an easy money but the thrill is that the underdog can give you much larger winnings and can fight from behind.
Skill wise Tyson Fury is the superior fighter and so is the odds favoring him and if you like the underdog it is your choice. One aspect i known about Tyson Fury is that he always rises during big fights and that is what i expect in this fight.
2482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is down a lot on: January 22, 2021, 11:57:54 AM
In my opinion, didn't gray capital invest a lot of bitcoin during this period? In such a short period of time, why has it dropped so much?
If you are talking about Grayscale investment they do have one of the biggest portfolio in the cryptocurrency space and there are other major public investment companies that are holding billions of dollars worth of BTCitcoin and then there are individual investors and early adopters who are holding huge amounts and it is impossible to know who is making the sell order until you have the tools to analyze all the big transactions and there are companies that are monitoring those.

Right now the market is around $31500 which is still a huge valuation and we had a 17% correction in the past one week and we had seen worst in the past and we have seen the market recover swiftly and this is not a big surprise as the market was rallying breaking all the resistance and expect a correction once in a while.
2483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: January 22, 2021, 09:20:59 AM
With the recent launch of the Covid 19 vaccines, will it affect bitcoin, I assume that the Covid 19 vaccine will make the economy stabilize again, will this also affect bitcoin?  will bitcoin weaken or vice versa?
I cannot understand why a stable economy will weaken BTCitcoin, the rally we are witnessing might be because of multiple reasons and even if we has to assume that the vaccines can stabilize the economy in the present situation what you need to understand is that it will take a much longer time to recover from the abyss as the entire country was forced to lock down around the globe and many businesses cease to exist and many fail to recover from the loss and these ripples will affect the overall market situation.

In short the recovery is a long shot and it will take a long time to recover and the rally in BTCitcoin is mainly because of institutional investors who are trying to take advantage of the market situation and you should expect them to book their profits and if that happens we will see a major correction.
2484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 21, 2021, 07:02:21 PM
Guys, anyone of you visited any ufc even live? Just curious.
If you are asking about watching a live event in the arena, the last event i was able to watch was UFC 242 when Khabib Nurmagomedov faced Dustin Poirier and it was a crazy experience because prior to that all of my experience were going to  OneFC and Brave events which is a different experience altogether and more over there were fighters personally known to me especially Bala Shetty who competed in OneFC in the past and Rahul Raju who is still competing in OneFC.

After watching the pre fight press conference i felt like Dustin Poirier is nervous even though both Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor praised each other and we are seeing a completely different McGregor.
2485  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 21, 2021, 03:42:10 PM
BTC provides banking services to the unbanked  Millions around the world who cannot qualify for a bank account use BTC to conduct business and make electronic transactions.
This is a concept everyone was saying for a long time, but my argument against it is that, i have met many people living under poverty. They do not have the necessary accessories to hold the coins, remember we are talking about people who are not banked and you cannot imagine them to have a smart phone or laptop to hold the coins, suppose they hold the accessories like a smart phone the risk of loosing the coins or forgetting the password are much higher.
2486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherum overtake bitcoin marketcap? on: January 20, 2021, 01:33:07 PM
How long until this happens?
There was a time back in 2016 when everyone thought that the price of ETH will overtake BTCitcoin as well as the leader of marketcap consider the amount of coins in circulation, but then the price of BTCitcoin started to move higher and once the rally started the difference was inevitable.
It is hard to predict what the future holds and how far the price of ETH will move, to be frank i do not care and wont be surprised if the marketcap difference diminish to a certain level .
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 19, 2021, 12:30:46 PM
Was just curious about this- There was lot of questions asked about Pujara's slow batting style. What do you think about it? I've seen people praising such styles a bit when it is a tight situation and that playing style comes in handy if we are trying to get out of losing situation, but do you think the reaction could go opposite if it goes other way if a target seems pretty much achievable but somehow it goes towards draw? What do you guys feel as a cricket fan.
Cheteshwar Pujara was playing the anchor role, he was hit in the body multiple times and i am sure he is hurt but he stayed in the crease so that the difficult phase of the match is taken care and that is more than important. The most impressive thing is that i consider this as the greatest win from India in the history of Test cricket with a really young team.

Full credits goes to Ajinkya Rahane.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 17, 2021, 08:38:15 PM
Few days left before mystic Mac enters the octagon again. Excited?
It is a crucial fight for Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier considering how tight the competition is in the division, i thought after meeting with Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dana White would talk about the vacant title but now news are coming out that he might be returning to defend his title and it all depends upon how the main event and co main event plays out.

Dana White will be praying that Conor McGregor wins the match so that he will try to make the rematch with Khabib which could be the biggest fight in UFC history Grin.
2489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 17, 2021, 07:23:15 PM
If Sri Lanka had a lead over 150 runs then the match would be interesting as they picked 3 wickets already.
If Sri Lanka played a decent game in the first innings the match would have being interesting but it is too late as they just need 36 more runs to win even though they picked 3 early wickets.

India is riding high in the final Test and i wished Ashwin was in the team just to respond to Paine as he was challenging him to come to Brisbane so that they could hurt him and easily defeat India  Cheesy. Australia will try to score runs quickly and if India is able to pick some early wickets then they could have an upper hand in the match.

Max Holloway fought the best fight of his life against Calvin Kattar and he will get a rematch against the champion with the level of performance he had.
It was an important fight for Max Holloway to be in the title contention and with the performance he displayed he will be facing Alexander Volkanovski once again in the near future and even Dana White said the trilogy is possible this year.

I did not place a bet in the main event but the ones i made was a disaster, i made a parlay with Santiago Ponzinibbio, Joaquin Buckley and Dusko Todorovic and all these fighters lost in the first round Undecided.
It was a good card and i just watched the fights and i had doubts about Santiago Ponzinibbio as he is returning after a two year gap and that showed and Joaquin Buckley fought back to back fights without taking much rest and a loss would make him think twice about returning fast.

I remember watching Matt Brown participating in Ultimate Fighter tv show and that was in 2008. I thought he retired long time ago, but opened his page on wiki and it turned out still competes. He almost has no fight last years. Why Dana keeps him in the organization?
Matt Brown and Carlos Condit are legends of the sport and they both fought last year, Matt Brown fought Miguel Baeza but lost that fight and he needs to retire as he is 40 years of age while Carlos Condit is on a two fight winning streak after a loosing streak.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 17, 2021, 12:03:18 PM
I will Never support Jokes like this Happening in Sports area, This happens once in Mayweather when they Put shame in the Boxing Ring to make Money and insult the Professional Boxer .
They are not gladiators or slaves, they are fighting to make money and if they are able to make a huge amount of money then so it be. If you do not like these kind of spectacle you can avoid the fight but the fact remains that it is one of the biggest earning fight in the history of combat sport.

Manny Pacquiao will never Bring this to reality as i Know His stand and how he respect the Boxing Gloves and the Ring court .
You are not following the news, Manny Pacquiao already showed interest to fight Conor McGregor and the only hurdle is Dana White and the UFC as he is signed with them and if the fight is to happen Conor McGregor needs the permission from the UFC.

But if this fight becomes true ? then Maybe i need to find another serious Games and forget about Boxing at all.
How about the promoters who took the interest away from the fans by not giving us the fight we wanted. You do not have problem but you have problem if someone is making a huge amount of money with a single fight and let Manny retire for good after this fight.

Pujara and Rahane gone now.. Top 3 got the good start but failed to convert in big inning.

Last recognized batting pair at the crease -Mayank-Pant- After this long Indian tail starts, although Sunder and Shardul know bit of batting but its too much to ask from tailenders if top order batsmen getting out after good start. I hope Lyon gets 3 more wickets and reach 400 mark today.
Team India will be waiting for the rain to return  and the weather forecast says that there will be rainfall by evening Cheesy.

Rohit Sharma threw his wicket away after starting well and the response he had in the press conference is that, it is how he plays, no wonder he is not an established Test player Cheesy.

If India is able to score close to 300 runs and with the help of weather condition they can somehow avoid a defeat  Grin.
2494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we were dreaming, now is the reality! on: January 16, 2021, 11:54:34 PM
I would like to congratulate everyone who believed and stood by Bitcoin, hope to see more and big changes for us all in the years to come.
many of us never thought about the price to rise this much, of course, we used to speculate and dream about it, but now that we are in this moment, it just feels unreal, happy to be a part of this community, cheers everyone!
I would be more happy if BTCitcoins gets an adoption where many users are getting involved rather than corporate fund houses pumping their money and making their profit. It would be great if more companies start accepting BTCitcoin as an alternative payment method and these are the adoption i look forward rather than institutional investors pumping the market.
2495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 16, 2021, 11:35:56 PM
I’m not sure I like McGregor fighting these professional boxers. He should leave that to the youtubers or be the pro that fights the youtuber. I feel like he’s devaluing himself by being the losing spectacle in these matches.
Conor McGregor likes the spectacle, he earned around $100 million when he faced Floyd Mayweather and he knows he can earn a huge amount of money if he faces Manny Paquiao. The results are inevitable when facing these legendary boxers but the spectacle is real for the fans, McGregor fans hoping he will take over the boxing world while the hardcore boxing fans wanted to teach the MMA celebrity a lesson Cheesy .
2496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua on: January 16, 2021, 03:32:12 PM
Tyson Fury is such a unique fighter.  I believe he's got one of the quickest reaction times when dodging a punch of any fighter ever measured, but he doesn't look like he'd stand a chance against most of his opponents.  I'm always counting him out and he always rises to the challenge.  It would be hard to place a bet against the guy.
With his size and height Tyson Fury is much faster and can dodge a punch with ease and it was clearly evident with all of his fights especially against Wilder as he was looking for a punch and he was able to land just a few punches in the entire fight. Tyson Fury is always underrated and he always comes out on top and even in the fight against Wladimir Klitschko no one gave Tyson a chance to defeat him but he did what he predicted before the fight and the same with Wilder.

Glad that we will be able to watch Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua finally and i always expect Tyson Fury to win the fight.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 16, 2021, 10:50:27 AM
I managed to see Loyd take a wicket earlier - he's one of the few consistent bowlers Australia has I feel.
Welcome to the thread, glad to see that you watch cricket. Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc are bowling well along with Pat Cummins, the fielders are a disappointment in this series. In the past three Test match alone, Australia dropped around 15 catches and India dropped around 12 catches. The bowlers are bowling their heart out but the fielders are a disappointment dropping catches.
2498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If bitcoin surpasses the $60K level then it will hit higher than $100K on: January 15, 2021, 11:28:39 PM
I want to aim the 50k first before seriously thinking about 100k. That's a long way to go but it is possible if more financial institutions will pour their assets into crypto. And if adoption among individual users will go strong in the coming days or years, such price level is really attainable. That means, we will be seeing a higher percentage of users as well as merchants accepting crypto.
The rally in BTCitcoin is helped by financial institutions and they determine whether the rally would continue breaching new milestones, adoption among individuals is what i want to see as an enthusiast rather than these institutional pump and dump. In terms of merchants accepting cryptocurrency it all depends upon how the transaction fees can be maintained to a certain level with faster confirmation and we might even see regulation in the cyrptocurrency space in the near future and all these will have an impact in the market.

Let's hope that transaction fee will be competitive in the market and will not be a burden for small crypto users.
Till now the transaction fees in BTCitcoin is not that high compared to the last rallies as we could make a transaction with 30 SAT/B and get a confirmation within half an hour which is pretty decent.
2499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 15, 2021, 10:40:41 PM
Mark my words. Labuschagne is going to be the next Steve Smith for Australia. He is extremely consistent and performs against top teams. BTW, I am happy for Natarajan. He made his international debut for India in all the three formats during this series. And that was despite the fact that he wasn't originally named in the ODI/test squads. It turns out that the injury woes are beneficial for at least some of the players.
Marnus Labuschagne is really lucky in this tournament as he was dropped multiple times during this series which includes during the ODI series and he was able to add much runs after that that could choke India as he was not able to convert that into a century and in this match he was dropped twice and he was able to reach a century finally.

The swing Natarajan was getting was great and hopefully he will be able to pick more wickets and sad to have another injury in the match as Navdeep Saini is injured and the bad omen continues.
2500  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: January 15, 2021, 03:44:21 PM
It is not known whether this will actually be the case. And the collapse is a big question. Remember the time when USDT was already close to collapse, nothing happened.
Lawsuits against Bitfinex? It didn't work. Even if this happens now, we have many alternatives that can correct the situation to one degree or another.
There is an investigation going on by the New York attorney office and it is a fact that they are minting coins and whenever the price of BTCitcoin increases you will see billions of new USDT minted and in recent months there were a huge influx of newly minted coins flooding the market. With regulation coming up we should anticipate something that will directly or indirectly impact the market.
