1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: January 23, 2022, 06:17:12 PM
~
that is IF THE PRICE FALL TO 30k then there could be another 20k level , but is this coming? I don't think so lol .
It is really difficult to predict what the bottom will be, but if there is a correction from this position, we could very well see below $30k and i wont be surprised if the institutional investors wait for a rise from this position to book another profit again. If the market performs like they usually performs during a bear run like they did during the past correction, i expect the market to go below $25k.

Now India have just 4 wickets remaining and 57 runs to be scored. Chahar and Yadav are in the crease, the batting order have come to an end.
Deepak Chahar is batting brilliant and now India just need 21 runs in 24 balls, i never thought of watching the match and since it is becoming a close one, i started watching the match. The tail end is exposed and South Africa can still pick the 3 wickets left and take the team to victory.

Jasprit Bumrah is reviewing an umpire decision now, the match is really close and DRS helped India now as the bat was not involved. If India could pull this victory it would be great. Deepak Chahar playing a special innings.

Edit:

Deepak Chahar is gone, India need 8 runs in 13 balls. Cheesy

I wonder what is going to be Ngannou future now. He has controversies with UFC, his contract has ended now, he wants more money (got 600k for this fight and no win bonus (you can check UFC 270 payout on wiki)), and he is a champ right now Cheesy I think UFC will have to fork out now.
600k is the fixed payment for showing up for the main event, then there will be undisclosed payment for the PPV. Dana White did not strap the belt on Francis Ngannou in the octagon and hopefully he will resign rather than pursuing a boxing career with Tyson Fury.

I was expecting Kratos to win and get his belt back, but I completely did not expect takedowns and ground work from Ngannou. I thought he is able only to punch people.
Everyone is surprised with the way Francis Ngannou won the fight as i never expected the fight going the distance and only after the fight his injury status was public as he was having a really damaged knee and his power was on display with his takedowns.

I thought Brandon Moreno is screwed because i thought he won the fight and yet the decision went to Deiveson Figueiredo which was a bummer.

After taking the decision to retire from Test Cricket Quinton de Kock is in exceptional form in the ODI and he score a century in this match and they reached a total of 287 runs and it is going to be a huge task for the India batsman to reach the target. It all depends upon how the openers will perform as the middle order is the weakest and if the openers give a good opening, then there is chance they could chase this total.

Gone are the days when we had legendary bowlers like Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram, who could swing the ball by a great deal. And the same can be said about the current bunch of spin bowlers. No one can match the calibre of Shane Warne or Muttiah Muralitharan. Test cricket can be exciting, but on very rare occasions. On average, you need to spend days on end watching test cricket, in order to get one hour or so of quality play. And that is the reason why viewership figures for test cricket are on the decline. T20 has got what the fans need.
In the past we witnessed many legendary fast bowlers, in the 70s sheer pace was the main weapon and then in the 80s swing bowling with pace was the main attraction and Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram introduced reverse swing to world cricket, during the initial stages the rest of teams thought they are manipulating the ball to get reverse swing as no one understood the art.

That being said, the matches are competitive now, earlier majority of the Test matches ended up in a draw or the match will be one sided if you are playing against Australia. Now majority of the teams are competitive and the matches are having results in the past 10 years, that can be contributed to the lack of quality batsman as well  Cheesy.

I really doubt that many types of cricket it is going to continue especially after India has their second number of record cases of coronavirus yesterday.
And the coronavirus situation is also on the rise in Bangladesh and almost all the other neighboring countries.
It is true that the situation is not that great as everyone getting tested are positive. Offices started to close and everyone is back to work from home situation and schools are closing once again. So even if there is sporting events it will be under a bubble.

It's hard to imagine players and event the cricket boards to take that risk of continuing cricket tournament under this situation. Even though these types of tournaments bring a lot of money for the boards, players'  safety cannot be compromised under any circumstances.
They might continue the matches under a bubble like they conducted earlier and the Arab countries earlier announced that they wont be shutting down like they did in the past, so the matches can even move to UAE.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 22, 2022, 09:43:46 PM
I also think that Deiveson Figueiredo would get his belt back. Their first fight was quite close imho, their second fight was strange, as Deiveson was more passive during it, then trying to defend his title. No offense, but Brandon Moreno looks like an accident champ to me (but still not as accident as Aljo Cheesy). He has not built a series of wins to be a true champ, he was like win-lose-win-lose-win-draw-champ.
Brandon Moreno is a great come back story, he was cut by the UFC in 2018 and then to have impressive performance outside the UFC and then return to the UFC and get to the belt is really cool. Deiveson Figueiredo have the power but Brandon Moreno have the heart and will not go down easily. It all depends upon the game plan they are planning to execute .

Main event i am going with Francis Ngannou because of his power even though Ciryl Gane is the best technical strikers in the Heavyweight division.

Its already Metaverse.
But could we really assure that it wont end on the same fate.
https://coinyuppie.com/will-facebooks-metaverse-end-up-the-same-as-libra/
I dont really expect that much about development on this.
I am expecting the same fate as Libra simply because of how they dealt with the user data earlier and with Metaverse you cannot trust them that they will be taking care of the data they are collecting including facial recognition which is a real concern and i am sure there will be opposition regarding this and how they are going to implement the metaverse is a big question.

Shami is rested because of work management issue and so its fine i suppose, even Bumrah needed some rest.

Despite this fuckery i would say this is good team but going through some bad phase (last month or so), not the other way around.
May be too much cricket and the players are tired or they have taken too much rest and it is taking time to get back into rhythm Wink.  Do we really have a work management policy in the Indian team. I am critical because the team is good but the selection process is not that great and when they are not performing to the best of their ability as bettors it pisses me off  Cheesy.

I do not understand why Rahul was given the captaincy instead of Kohli. Is Rohit Sharma not more experienced than Rahul? I think Kohli is better than Rahul as captain and batsman.
There is no one else in the team that are capable of leading the team, Rohit Sharma is not fit and he needs to take care of his health if he wants to play for a longer period of time, he plays one series and he is injured the next and that is going on for the past few years.

~
So you did not had any hopes against Australia and England. Never thought Indian team morale will be soo much down after back to back defeats.
Now since South Africa beat them, I think they should cancel other tours and ask ICC to schedule their series with Ireland or Scotland so that they can have some win in their bags. Remember they showed good performance against these teams in T20 World cup.
Do you really think that any cricket board will care about the feelings of a player, the players are dispensable and if they are not playing well they will be removed and a new member comes in and the ball keeps on rolling. It is all about making the profit for the board and rolling the ball continuously.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: January 21, 2022, 11:57:22 PM
If a fighter is on the ground they usually drag the fight from the center of the ring towards the cage so to have some way to stop their opponent from throwing wild punches.
They aren't allowed but the referee doesn't stop them when they are playing the ground game especially for those who are wrestling.

Ah so you actually aren't allowed to use the cage then, so even height or momentum advantage (say, for example, getting a leap off the cage for some momentum) using cage would be penalised?
Probably get a disqualification if it was done on purpose.
There have been matches where it was done before (not like a wrestling type move) but so fast that it would be taken by the referee as an accidental move and just have the fight go on.
There is no disqualification for using the cage for the momentum. Anthony Pettis used the cage to knock down Benson Henderson and it was a crazy move and a highlight reel for a long time as he actually ran on the side of the cage and use that momentum and many fighters use cage to gain the momentum, like super man punch getting the momentum from the cage and it is common. You cannot hold the cage to prevent a take down or hold on to the cage and that is illegal but you can use the cage for the momentum and there is no restrictions on that.

So, the fight will likely to be postpone as the state of Nevada won't sanction this fight and give a green light to make it happen. I guess the promoters and the management now were busy finding another place just to make this fight happen as lots of people, including me, are already looking forward on this fight even if it's an exhibition match. Hopefully we can hear/see an update about it this week.
That means the sanctioning body is worried that Logan Paul or Jake Paul will be killed by Mike Tyson even at 55 years of age Cheesy. Mike Tyson will get a sanction as he is a legend and he only wants to prove that he is healthy but Logan brothers does not have any high level boxing opponents in their career and usually the boxing body is strict in giving a novice to get a license to fight someone who was a champion.

Where the heck is Shami? Also, how many more chances will they keep giving Bhuvi who has been struggling for a long time now?
Even i was thinking what happened to Mohammed Shami, he is the best bowler along with Jasprit Bumrah and they are sticking with Bhuvneshwar Kumar who is not able to get the swing like he expected in these pitches.

India lost the test series and they are about to lose the ODI series which could end as a whitewash by South Africa considering how some of their key bowlers and batsmen have been underperforming in recent times.
I was not having any hopes when India travelled to Australia or England and they surprised me with the performance and in this tour against South Africa i thought if they beat teams like Australia and England then South Africa who i think have the weakest team in a long time will not be a huge task, but the situation is far from the truth  Cheesy.
1514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2022 be the year of ETH 2.0? on: January 21, 2022, 07:30:27 PM
it couldn't definitely be the year of ETH 2.0 although I just don't really want to sweat over ETH 2.0 because simply it could just be disappointing in the future. So many delay has come and this is making so many people being forced to pay the fees to trade in the network and that's totally not fair compared how big revenue that earned by ethereum miners.
The users are tired of paying higher transaction fees for over a year and people are really tired and pushing the projects to move to other chains and the projects are also moving to other chains so that they could retain the community members and that is not that great for ETH in the long run. The only reason the price rallied in ETH is because majority wanted to stake the coins and earn money because of their consensus change and whether these moves will end up in a disaster is yet to be seen  Grin.

It's hilarious that they waited this long to disprove all the talks about the fight between Mike Tyson and Logan paul. they could have ended the rumors right after it has been spread to the public, I guess they needed the publicity.
Logan Paul may have started this idea of facing Mike Tyson thinking that he could make a million dollars facing one of the baddest man on the planet when he is above 50 years and make a name for himself, but when he see all the training videos posted by Mike Tyson, who wont be afraid to get knocked out cold for everyone to laugh at Logan Paul Cheesy.

I kind of looking forward to Mike Tyson knocking out Logan Paul but I am also glad that the fight wasn't actually happening.
The same round of promotion will take place about Mike Tyson taking on Jake Paul for a while to be in the media and i doubt they will be fighting Mike Tyson.

Real-time incident of an user who trained himself to be a trader. Got addicted and lost everything. Steven is the person who kept adding more cryptocurrency to his portfolio. In an interview he mentioned drug, cryptocurrency and alcohol has destroyed his life. In the beginning Steven knew what he's doing. Later he ended up losing around 5-10 bitcoins. He don't know any information about the addresses and now struggling to recover it.

He says trading is gambling. He has learnt by his own and has always been a good trader. Now he spends day in one of the rehabilitation centre in Scotland.
The fact is he destroyed himself being an drug addict and now blaming on others, the typical situation the world is going through in some of the first world countries, you mess up your life and then put the blame on others. He should have voluntarily gone to a rehabilitation center when he was an addict and he should be fine. He played till the end game and now fails to remember anything is his own fault and he needs to blame himself for being stupid  Cheesy.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 11:47:09 PM
I would really like to know more. If there's anyone willing to help out with where to get a thorough and extensive information about cryptocurrency in general, I will very much appreciate it.
The term cryptocurrency is a broader term, majority of the projects have a unique methods by which they are raising the capital to complete what they are promising. The base you need to understand is the viability of the project and whether the project owners are capable of fulfilling the promise after raising the money and whether they are transparent in the process and answers your queries.

Here goes middle order.  Grin 5 down.
Even in the Test matches if the middle order would have performed the results would have been different. The same situation is happening in ODI as well, the openers started well and Shikhar Dhawan played a really great innings and his position is safe until Rohit Sharma returns. Not sure what happened to the younger players that used to perform. Not expecting much in this series.

It's worst performance from any England side in The Ashes since 1890 but still Joe Root and Coach Silverwood insisting they are not stepping down from their roles because they are feeling it's not their failure it's all the system's failure which is correct but now ECB need to do some quick and tough decisions for having better way for their cricket in near future.
The statement of the worst performance by any England side after 1890 is a big exaggerated because i have seen much worse performance by England against Australia in the Ashes during the 90s where they used to get defeated without any challenge and most of the series were one sided and used to be a white wash.

Coming back to the Indian test cricket, i guess KL Rahul looks set to lead team India  Undecided , this new transition period is going to be very exciting.
I am curious to see how KL Rahul leads the team with all the senior members in the team.  Grin

^  Wasn’t Zabit removed from the rankings due to inactivity then eventually released from his contract?
Zabit Magomedsharipov was removed from the rankings and i think it is unfair because he was supposed to fight on August 29, 2020 but Yair Rodríguez pulled out of the fight and after that Zabit Magomedsharipov was struggling with his health issues as well relating to his immune system and i think he underwent surgery and hopefully he will be back this year. He was ranked 3 when he was removed and a couple of fights and he could be the title contender.
