Looks like the wallets are sync'd again.  Anyone mining? Get any blocks?

So quiet all of a sudden.  Huh

Did you sell already?  lol  Guys, so what? If it were me. I would setup my miner first and then type up the announcement for an official launch with one hand.  Who cares if the dev got a few blocks head start?  At least it's nothing compared to most of the other coins out there. Plus, if I remember correctly from hashcoin. The dev doesn't even have a great miner. I believe it's under 1MH/s or something like that. Anyways, look at darkcoin which mined like 50% of there coins in the first 24 hours.  It didn't affect there pricing.  I'm holding onto my dreams until it reaches Roll Eyes  Good luck dreamers!!

1. You can rent high hashrate by the hour very cheap, you don't need your own rig, and anybody planning an instamine would do that.
2. Darkcoin gets away with it because it has a differentiator (including an out-of-date library in the source code doesn't count)

Ok. I've never rented a rig so not an expert on it.  But when you rent a rig, do they allow you to solo?  Since there were no WORKING pools up until like over 4 hours after launch.

w/e cashing out with 800% profit
might pick it back up once the dumps occur since the fud is starting

You just cut yourself short.  Dream hasn't even started yet.  This is just a snooze.

I think the dev already stated that he didn't get to mine until about five minutes after he launched with something like a few hundred kilohash

Yes, I saw that. But the blockchain says otherwise. It clearly shows several blocks mined before the announcement. And one block mined 12 seconds after the announcement (too soon for anyone else), which went into the same wallet as the next several coins mined. Dev is sometimes evasive, but not one to lie. Hence why I'd like him to answer.

I dont even know whats wrong about that, as long as its after the announcement. The dev had all the work with coding the coin so I think its his right to start mining asap.
maybe the fact that if he did premine those blocks he lied to everyone.......

Yea that is what I was referring to in my above post ^^....Ian has yet to get back to me, I have sent him contact information and some messages, no reply yet. He even said it there....Yes Zerocoin development is separate from Dreamcoin, always will be, I will be the one to integrate Zerocoin into Dreamcoin entirely.

In other news: Dreamcoin is about to hit PoS soon! Only less than 1,000 blocks left!!!!

P.S. - Check out this cool richlist dasource made Smiley http://chain.dreamcoin.me/richlist/

Nice! The richlist is awesome.  Someone is holding a boat load of DRMs.  That's almost 10% of the total coins.  Someones dreams are coming true.

It just seems like a little bit of FUD is spreading because Dreamcoin is starting Proof of Stake soon in less than 950 blocks Wink Hopefully I cleared things up, Sent him a PM to to explain better, hopefully people read the OP and through the thread to get a better idea of what is going on, I feel like I stated it very clearly. Thanks! Dreamers don't stop dreaming! PoS is almost here!!!!! Smiley

Im pretty sure that is one of the exchanges wallets Wink so the second one would be the richest at 50k DRM!!!!! Damnnn! Smiley

Yeah bro. It's all good. You didn't do anything wrong. People just want the price to drop so they can jump back in. Oh yeah, forgot about the pools. haha. That's probably suchpools wallet or something.

This was a post of me on Libertycoin thread. It got deleted. I'm afraid Dreamcoin is the same story (not sure about Dreamcoin, but I am sure about Libertycoin). Here my old post:

Quote
I'm definitely seeing some red flags with this coin (and DreamCoin) as well. I think it's a new way to make a buck easily for the dev's. I wonder what you guys think.

1) Create a coin with a short mining period, so you can easily mine a lot of coins in the beginning
2) Publish that you have something revolutionary implemented, although it doesn't have to be true, this will raise the price
3) Sell them high before everyone realizes it's not what it supposed to be

I'm not sure that this is the actually the case. But I sold all my Liberty Coins (a whopping 0.17 btc worth, lol).

I sold all my Dreamcoins.

lol. You trying to get back into DRM?  Sorry buddy you just sold low and will be buying back high.  BTW, DRM is not Libertycoin.

I really hope so! Like I said: I'm not sure... And if I am wrong about my guts I will be the first one to buy some Dreamcoins again.. but for a higher price. Smiley Anyway, don't want fight, just wanted to tell my thought about this. I really hope I'm wrong so honest people don't get ripped off.

No prob. Just a suggestion. I say get back in now or just forget about us. It'll just make you want to rip your hair out, when you see the prices later this week after the POW is over.   Honestly, you can't compare DRM to Libertycoin. The Libertycoin dev hired loljosh (great, cool coin dev btw) to create the coin for him. He is not a true dev and when things go wrong, he has to wait until loljosh fixes it.  Not the case here. dreamcoin dev knows his sh*t.  He's also a graphic/web designer. We have no middleman.  Libertycoin is like opening a restaurant when you don't know how to cook. What happens when your chef decides to quit without notice?

Flowerpots. I don't see anything dreamcoin dev said that contradicts what Ian replied.  Give it up already. You shouldn't have sold your DRM.  Like I mentioned earlier today, you should have gotten back in immediately or just forget about us.  Still not too late to get back in. Anyways, hopefully you still have your hair.

zeromine = mining at a pool that shuts down before you can withdraw your coins.
i hear libertycoin has that feature implemented and is running very well

haha!

Well thats awesome to wake up to so many good comments about Dreamcoin and seeing it listed on poloniex (Thanks busoni!)

To everyone talking about Zerocoin.

Libzerocoin code is implemented into Dreamcoin, The code is not fully ran in the system yet as there are only the beginning of some params coded into Dreamcoin itself.

Libzerocoin and Zerocoin itself have a lot of work to be done still by its developers and others (I personally have found many bug fixes and updates for the libzerocoin code, which I will be releasing by next week at latest) The actual integration into Dreamcoin will take some more time and a lot of testing before just put up live. I have contacted Ian the Zerocoin dev to get some more input and get in contact with me to help speed up the development process. I completely 100% support anonymity in new cryptos and I will be adding Zerocoin to Dreamcoin (Yes it is basically an extension of the network).

Unlike LibertyCoin, I know what I am doing, I will update the github in the coming weeks so more of you devs can review the code and see how the progress is coming along, updates to the current libzerocoin code will not affect Dreamcoin in a whole until it is completely integrated into the coin. I may be taking on some other devs to help with this as well to speed up the progress, once I get paid from my real world job.

Love you all! Peace and Dreams! Smiley I will be on all day today just like any other day, so if you have questions just shoot me a PM Smiley

if you require funds to implement this to help speed up process, create a donation address, i will donate what i can. you can hire more devs with funds and plenty of red bull lol

Great Idea, I will setup a Zerocoin donation fund, I think it should just go to the Zerocoin devs though? May help them out and motivate them to work faster as well? Let me know what you think of this community. I do have my personal address on the OP now as well if you want to donate directly to me for my dreams and future development! Cheesy

Regards.

Yep we are getting very close to Proof of Stake guys!!! Smiley

P.S. Oh, I just had someone ask me how I came up with "Dream" coin....well it was pretty random, but this is what inspired me, my own tatted up arm.

Some inspiration for you guys, straight from your own devs body! Smiley

Nice tat Dev.  I thought you came up with "dream" cause you sleep a lot!  Isn't it like almost 3pm where you're at? haha. j/k man. Keep up the great work!

Yes, some serious hash on this now. Only 1200 blocks until POS kicks in. Those last 2000 blocks will be really tough for POW miners.

Hell yeah it's tough. I'm mining with a spoon right now. lol

Somebody (a whale) is buying 130,000 k btc at bittrex, that is 8% of total coins, with 15 BTC.

Damn! I'm stuck at work and can't put any buys in.  Oh well, can't stop a moving rocket and a rocket only goes up.

I love zercoin implentation, whatd it do exactly? im not a coder sorry Tongue

According to one of the Zerocoin devs on twitter, it's not implemented properly, so it doesn't do anything.

Wouldn't it be crazy if our dreamcoin dev got zerocoin to work properly before the zerocoin devs?  Carsen, stop sleeping and make it happen Captain!  lol

I'm not a coder either. All I know is it pushes DRM to the clouds. lol.  Dev can explain better later. There's a zerocoin wiki link on the OP.

Lmao this coin is all good things, no worries and no connections with liberty coin shit. This coin was 4000yesterday, 8000today, 13000tonight and noone even knows about it yet LOL.

Yeah and POS hasn't even started yet.
